Chapter Twelve:
Livy
Walking behind I stare at Jake and Luna who are gradually becoming friends ” they aren’t humans, they are called ghouls which eat humans for survival ” Luna muttered and Jake nod, averting my gaze from them I look at my surrounding the whole place is suspicious
Is this Luna really friendly, how did she know we are heading to the sand village in the first place and why so eager to help us, maybe am over reacting or maybe am right
Is Jake not seeing this ” Jake, can we talk ” holding his hands he look at me ” in pri-vate “Luna step forward giving us enough space ” Dont you think this is fishy, how did she know we are heading to the sand village”
” Livy ”
” think about it Jake, people are after us, we can’t trust anyb©dy. I suggest we run now, far away from her ” Jake stand starring at me, looks like he is thinking ” you are right, how did she know we are heading to the sand village, plus spiders are everywhere here, it might be a tra-p ”
” a tra-p you fell in ” our gaze move back to Luna, five men standing behind her now ” what do you think, you can run away from us and escape to that village ”
Jake hold my hand and curse un-der his breath, they was absolutely nothing to say anymore, I know Jake is thinking of a way to escape ” and you Livy, you decide to betray us and stick with him, is he your b©yfri£ndnow?? Or may I say brother ” she laugh after saying the last p@rt
” what is she talking about ” I asked and Jake look at me, his eyes trying to tell me something ” I will explain later, right now we nee-d to run ” the moment it left his mouth, we turn around and start running
They weren’t far behind and surprisingly Jake speed in running seem to be increasing as seconds pas-s by and I can’t keep up ” am gonna fall ” he lift me up and throw over his shoulder, looking back Luna and the others happen to be seven foot behind, they are awfully fast too
I have a feeling we will get caught ” they are close, we are goanna get caught ” the moment Luna hands try tou-ching Jake b©dy we vanish and appear in an unknown village ” what just happened?? ” Jake drop me down, he look dizzy ” are you okay ??”
” I think I thought about the sand village too much ” after that Jake fall down, eyes closed, he is unconscious. I tried lifting him but he is so heavy, my gaze roam round the city, people moving around, buying and selling
No one paid attention to us, absolutely no one, what kind of place is this, standing up my hands move to Jake hands before pu-lling him with me to a house close by
I knock for the fifth time before a woman open the door ” plea-se we nee-d help, my husband is ill and he is unconscious ” the words are out before I could pay even pay attention to what am saying
” of course, come in ” they open the door and help me in carrying Jake off the floor inside the house, placing him on a couch, I look round the house, pictures of a boy and girl hang everywhere then the woman and someone that should be her husband” what happen to you guys ” she asked checking Jake pulse
” I don’t know, we where looking for the sand village and he suddenly fainted ”
” it might be lack of food ” a girl voice gain my attention, she walk down the stairs wearing shorts and shi-t while her brown hair is tied in a messy bu-m, she has dark eyes
She hand her mother a bowl of water before looking at me ” hi am Tracy” smiling I told her my name before my gaze move back to Jake, why haven’t he woken up yet ” if you must know, this is the sand village and I have arrange a bath for you and some clothes ” Tracy smiled ” the third room on your left ”
” thank you ” these people are kind, maybe we can st©p running for awhile now
Jake
Blinking twice I use my hands to cover the sun light emitting from the windows, where the fv¢k am I, the only thing I remembered was appearing in an unknown village then pas-sing out leaving Livy alone, where is she ” Livy??” Sitting up my gaze met two people, a woman and a girl
” your wife will be down in a minute ” the woman smiled but am left confused, I don’t have a wife, did Livy call herself my wife, did I tell her the truth about her not being my sister while I was unconscious
The young lady move close to me and I move back ” you have white hair and blue eyes, is strange ” she muttered looking at me like am a piece she nee-ds to fix ” can I t©uçh it ” her eyes met mine and I quic-kly shake my head
” my wife will get extremely jealous if you do that ” the girl look sad ” you look too young to be married” she muttered but my attention isn’t with her anymore, I stare at Livy walking down the stairs wearing a short blue dress, she look amazing and her long dark hair added beauty to her
I have always love her hair long ” Jake, you’re awake ” she rush to my side and hvg me ” you scared me ” everyb©dy attention is placed on us ” you nee-d a shower ” Livy muttered then withdraw while everyone laugh
holding my hands she take me inside a room before shutting the door, hands fold ” explain ” exhaling I nod ” alright we aren’t siblings, we were enemies, you tried killing me okay” I muttered un-bu-ttoning my shi-t ” when you lost your memory, saying am your brother was the only thing that c@m£ to my mind, I should have gone with a b©yfri£ndright ” taking off my shi-t I watch her furrow her brows
” wh….wh..wh…what are yo…you doing ” she stammer, cheek becoming red, she did say I nee-d a shower didn’t she?? My hands move to my belt ” I nee-d a shower Livy, besides you’re my wife right, arrange a bath for me ”
” you wish ” she mumble before walking out of the room, laughing I take off my trou-sers and bo-xers, a good bath will help me, can’t remember the last time I showered. The sound of the door opening made me smile ” Livy are you planning to shower with….” When I turn around the young girl from earlier stood there, face completely red ” holy $h!t ” gr-abbing my trou-sers I cover my c0ck, what is she doing in here
” am sorry, my dad said I should deliver a towel, sorry ” handing the towel over to me she close the door and run downstairs, she shouldn’t have seen that

Chapter Thirteen:
Jake
After returning from the bathroom I put on some simple short and shi-t then proceeded in walking downstairs, Livy seated on a couch while staring at the woman who seem to be kitting a cloth. My gaze move to the girl earlier, her cheek turn red before averting her gaze
” am really grateful for welcoming us in here ” I thank Joe who I later find out was the father of the house ” no problem son, you and your wife can stay here till you found a place to move into ”
Thanking him one more time I move to sit next to Livy who look so interested in learning how to kit ” look Jake, I did my first line correctly ” Livy stare at me with those big black eyes showing how excited she is over such a thing
” is nice ” after complementing her on her work I stood up and follow Joe to his shop, I just can’t seat idol in the house, have to help ” it will be good to have a young boy in the house again, my only son is off in the missionaries school ”
” that’s a great news sir ” he nod, I could see he is very proud of his son ” now we nee-d to find a well capable husband for Tracy, they isn’t much a woman can do expect to get married and reproduce ”
Arriving in the shop, different products are placed, kitted clothes, sli-ppers,ru-bbers and other cooking items. Sitting down I watch people pas-s by, buying different things, even things that is in this shop, no b©dy step here ” we are running low on sales this year ” Joe muttered
Looking at him I could see that this is their way of surviving, the wind b!ow heavy causing the door to shut itself, standing up I move to the other side and open it then place a stone to hold it from closing
In the process, different people gaze met mine, they didn’t aver their gaze, just stare till I walk back into the shop
Suddenly different women fill the shop, I had no idea why??? Each time I hand them something, they make sure their hands brush mine and mutter ” he is real” even when I increa-sed the prices they still rush the item
” hi” a lady muttered while I tra-p the cloth she ask for in a nylon ” here is your item ” handing it to her, our hands t©uçh, her face lit up completely
” wow, everything is cleared up ” Joe chuckle standing up ” I will tell Tracy to keep you company, an old man nee-d some rest ” nodding I watch him walk back into the house and in no time Tracy appear in the shop
” you seem to be our lucky charm today ” she muttered while I just nod, don’t really know what to say to her. Never been good with words ” am sorry about what happen earlier ” turning around I stare at her, a smile in herl-ips
” no problem Tracy, learn to knock next time ” handing her the key to the shop I smile ” everything have been sold, it will be nice for you to lock the shop while I head back ” walking pas-s her I didn’t wait for her reply, I know that look she gave me, am not re-ady for another girl to start having feelings for me
” Jake ” Livy run out and hold my hands ” I have something for you ” before I could breath she pu-ll me inside then upstairs to the room given to us, I watch her closely. She move to the be-d and bring a kitted blue scarf then put it around my n£¢k, matching my eye colour
To be sincere no one has ever gifted something to me before, not even raven I d@t£d three years, not even James I call my brother but this Livy has gifted me something she made with her hands, how could I reject it
” you don’t like it ??” She asked, i have been quite for a long time, when our gaze meet I gr-ab her hands, pu-ll her to me, cu-p her face and k!ssher, she flin-ch. her hands moving to my che-st before relaxing in my arms
The k!sswas simple and slow but the moment she g@sp I dive my ton-gue to meet hers, my hands lower to her arse and gr-abbing them at the same time lifting her up
Her hands move to my n£¢k then my hair ” Mmmm” she m0@n , our ton-gue swirling together, all my life I have never witness a k!ssthat turn me on so bad, I know she could feel how ha-rd I am
” excuse me I….” The moment a voice approach our ears we dis£ngage from the k!ss, Livy face completely red, herl-ips red and swollen, I fv¢king want her. Running my hands throu-gh my hair I turn and look at the person standing there . Tracy stare at us, I know that look in her eyes, jealousy ” lunch is re-ady, you guys are nee-ded downstairs ” she didn’t wait for our reply before running down the stairs
” we….we…we should go ” Livy stammer but before she could leave I gr-ab her hands and made her look at me, my hands move to her cheek ” are you okay ” I asked, she nod her head and I give her a simple k!sson her forehead then lean to her ears ” thanks for the scarf Livy, I love it ” I k!ssherl-ips one more time before letting her go
Watching her leave the room I run my hands throu-gh my hair once more, I know this is the first time we are k!ss!ngand alre-ady I want more of that k!ss, I can’t live without them anymore
Livy
Shoving the rice ba-lls into my mouth I savour the taste the nod ” delicious ” everyone chuckle ” that my specialty ” Alice muttered then Tracy nod her head ” my mum is the best ”
” tell me Jake how did you and Livy meet ” Joe asked and my gaze move to Jake, he swallowed his meal then stare at me while l!çk!ng hisl-ips and just like that the k!ssc@m£ back to my head and my face turn red again
Averting my gaze from his I focus on the meal ” it was late in the evening, the cloud alre-ady had a dot of tiny stars, I moved to a river to have a sip since I was in a journey and thirsty but i could even di-p my hands she c@m£ out from the water, hair soa-ked, eyes sparkling” looking at Jake he smiled ” the moment our gaze met I knew she is the one for me ” everyone cl@pped their hands while Tracy excused herself to the kitchen after starring at Jake in a way I don’t approve
