Angela and James had been married for 3yrs, and they were blessed with a son named wisdom which was ba-rely 1yr with some months, James love and adored his wife Angela, and Angela on the other hand love James as well, they lived as a happy couple because they un-derstand themselves. James work in a company were they are paying him well, while Angela have a small business she was running. One day James c@m£ back from work one evening feeling excited.
“Honey! this one you are happy like this, I hope all is well? Angela asked smiling
All is well my dear, just guess what? James said excitedly
Honey! you know am not good in guessing, ok they promoted you “Angela tea-sed
No dear, guess again “James said
plea-se honey, you know am not good in guessing, tell me what it is that is ma-king you happy, I want to know, plea-se share the good news to me because I know is a good news you want to tell me, I can wait to hear it “she said as she was curious to know what her husband want to say
Alright dear, I will tell you because am too excited right now, you remember the contract I told you about last month?
yes yes I remembered, so what happened to it? Angela asked
Darling! you won’t believe it, I have finally won the contract today “James said excitedly and Angela jumped on his b©dy with joy
OMG!! am I dreaming “Angela said still can’t believe what she heard
Darling you are not dreaming, but that is the truth, I won a contract today worth about 600million “James said smiling and Angela hvgged him with tears because she was too happy for the good news, indeed that is every woman’s prayer for their husband to make it in life.
“Am really happy for you honey because that have always be my prayer for you to succeed in everything you are doing, and now my prayers have been answered, am so happy right now “she said
Am equally happy as well, I never knew that God will favour me this way, among all my colleague and my friend mark, I was the only one they gave the contract, this cost for a celebr@tion, go and get dress because am taking you and our son wisdom out to the best eatery in town, so go and get dress “James said and Angela went inside and get herself prepared with their son, after that James took them out with his car to the best eatery and other places where they have fun, after they finish they went home. on getting home, James saw his younger brother Donald sitting outside with his bags because he was just coming back from the village, Donald was James younger brother who was 28yrs, he was a graduate and have been living with James since he graduated from the University, but he have no job yet, and James on the other hand have promised to secure him a job soon.
“Ah….ah Donald you are back from the village, and why are you sitting outside with your bag? James asked
“the door is lock brother” Donald replied
what do you mean by the door is locked, didn’t you have your own key? James asked again
brother, I forgot my key at the village “Donald replied
Look at your mouth, you are even bold saying that you forgot your key at the village, what if me and my wife didn’t come back today that is how you would have sleep outside because of your carelessness, and besides you didn’t even bother to call me on the phone that you are back from the village “James said

Look at your mouth, you are even bold saying that you forgot your key at the village, what if me and my wife didn’t come back today that is how you would have sleep outside because of your carelessness, and besides you didn’t even bother to call me on the phone that you are back from the village “James said
“Brother, I called your number and they said is switched off, so I had to call your wife’s number, it rang but she didn’t pick her call “Donald said and that moment Angela check her bag to take her phone but couldn’t see it
“OMG!! I forgot my phone “Angela exclaimed
where did you forget your phone? James asked because he thought that she forgot it in one the eatery they went
I forgot it at home, I didn’t take it with me “Angela replied
“Anyway let’s go inside “James said and they all went inside, as they got inside Angela saw her phone with some missed from her brother in-law which shows that he called her number. After some hours, James called his brother Donald to the sitting room for them to talk, while Angela was inside the room with their son wisdom.
Brother! you called me “Donald said immedaitely he c@m£ to the sitting room
“yes I called you for we to talk, so how is mama and papa, I hope papa like the clothes I gave you to give to him? James asked
Ah…. papa love the clothes so much, he said that they are beautiful, he have even started wearing some of them to farm “Donald said smiling
what!! why will papa wear all those beautiful clothes to farm, does he know how much I bought it, I will call him right away to know why he is wearing those beautiful clothes to farm, he told me that he don’t have any clothes that he is wearing to occasion and meeting, that was why I bought him all those expensive clothes, and now he is wearing them to farm, I hate what I don’t like, well no nee-d to prolong talk I will call him right away “James angrily said and took his phone to call his father but Donald st©pped him and also laughing at the same time
Brother is a lie, I was only joking, papa is not wearing the clothes to farm, I said that to see your reaction “Donald said still laughing
“come I don’t like that kind of joke, plea-se behave yourself “James warned
Am sorry brother “Donald apologized
“Anyway, are you aware that I won a contract today? James said smiling
No brother am not aware, wow am really happy for you”””
Well the main purpose I called you here is to ask you, whether you will like to venture into business or you want me to continue looking for a job for you? James asked his brother
I will like to venture into business if I see the opportunity because since you have been looking for a job for me but haven’t seen any yet, I think venturing into business will be okay “Donald responded
“ok no problem, I will see what I can do “James said and ended the discussion

As time goes on James gave his brother Donald money to start up a business of his choice which he did. James even opened a big business for his wife Angela and also they packed out from the house they were living, and they moved to an expensive house, they were living a comfortable life because the money was there, James also build a house for his parents in the village and they were proud of him.

One Sunday afternoon, James were with his two friends mark and Tony at the beer parlour drinking, mark and Tony had been his friends right from there University days, James and mark are working in the same company, although it was mark that introduced James to the company he was working now, while Tony was working in a bank, the three friends are all married. so as they were drinking, they were gisting at the same time.
“James! am really happy for you, see as Good take dey bless you “Tony said as they were drinking
My brother na God ooo” James responded
“honestly speaking James, you are very lucky, even me that was in the company before you they have never for once given me any contract, see you that I brou-ght to the company which day, they have given you contract, they even made me to be un-der you, chai this life no balance at all, well all the same am still happy for you, how I wish the company will remember me “mark added
“don’t worry mark, the God that do it for me will also do it for you “James said
I just pray so ooo”””” After they finished drinking, they entered their various cars and drove off to go home, they took different direction because they are not living in the same place. As James was heading home with his car, along the road he was st©pped by two men carrying gun, they were putting on police uniform.
“good evening officers, I hope there is no problem, this one you people st©pped my car? James asked surprisedly
“get down from that car right now” one of the men ordered and James c@m£ down from his car
plea-se officers, as you can see am going home before you st©pped me, if is my license you want to see I will bring It, is inside my car “James said, but one thing he did not know was that they are not policemen as he thought
we don’t want your fu*cking license, we want your life “the other man said and point his gun on James forehead
plea-se officers, I beg you in the name of God don’t kill me, I have a family who depend on me, and besides what was my offense that you want to kill me, you are an officers, and is your duty to protect citizen and not to kill them “James said shaking
Guy make we kill this man, no time to waste “one of the men said to the other one who was pointing his gun on James forehead
“plea-se I beg you, don’t kill me, I will give you anything you want, name it and I sha…….. “but before James could finish his statement, they sh0t him on his forehead, he fell down and died instantly.
