“Calm down Madi, keep your cool. Take a deep breath.” Derek said to Valerie. She was doing FaceTime with him.
Valerie inhaled and exhaled before looking at him.
“Deep breath.” He said when she made to utter a word.
“So what did you say happen again?” He asked and Valerie began narrating everything to him.
“Trust me dad, I thought that would clear off all his suspicion but I was wrong. Now he wants to see my mom. Where on earth will I get a Swiss who will act as mum within this short period of time?” She questioned rhetorically.
“I just knew he was very smart. Good thing I found someone to play the role.” Derek said with a smile and her her eyes gleamed.
“Really?? So quick?” She asked and Derek nodded.
“Thanks alot dad. I love you.” She said.
“I love you too Madi. Now, you just have to go to the airport to pick her up. Her flight is landing by 2pm. I’ll send every details about her that you need to know.” He said to her and she nodded.

June got into the empty class, to meet Fawn waiting for her as said.
“Hey.” She called, walking to him.
Fawn turned to her. He wasn’t smiling at all, not even in the slightest.
“How much did you take to get me here??” He asked and June knitted her brows.
“What… Are you talking about??” She asked.
“How much do you want me to repay you for this favor?” He asked and June creased her brows.
“Why do you think I did it because I needed something in return??” She asked.
“Isn’t it obvious. I hate favours, I hate feeling indebted to someone.” He said.
“But I don’t want you to pay back.” She said.
“And I want to pay you back. You did this so you could hover around me like a leech, something I don’t like. State your amount.” He said and June stared at him surprisingly.
“Really??” She asked.
Was he being serious right now??
She thought and she suddenly smiled, coming up with an idea.
“5 billion dollars.” She said and Fawn’s eyes widened.
“What?? Five bill-” He asked in astonishment.
“You asked how much I needed. 5 billion dollars, get it and I’ll leave your life for good. I won’t glue to you like a leech, just as you said.” She said, with a smirk playing on her lips.
She knows very well that even tho she gave him forever, he wouldn’t be able to raise such amount of money.
He is stuck with her forever.
Fawn knew very well what she was doing, still…
“Fine!” He said and after a long silence.
“Five billion dollars isn’t it?” He asked and June nodded.
“Yes.” She answered.
“Fine. I’ll get it for you, and you’ll leave my life.” He said to her and she smiled.
“I love your egoism. I’ll do as you say, but that’s when you’ve returned the money, as of now… I’m gonna remain a leech to you.” She giggled and Fawn, curled his lips looking at her.
Her guts was really pissing him off, coupled with the fact that she was a Zhang. How much he hated them.
“So for now, you’re my boyfriend-”
“What di-”
“Shhh!!” She placed a finger on his lips and he went numb immediately, he slowly looked up from her finger on his lips to her face.
She was staring back, their eyes locked for a moment, and it appeared as tho they were cast off to a world of their own.
Ashley who was walking pass the window paused when he felt the presence in there and slowly turned to look at them.
He clenched his jaws, glaring at them, Fawn especially.
Fawn suddenly slapped her hands off his lips as if coming back to his senses.
“You didn’t have to do that!” He snapped, cleaning his lips with the back of his hand at the same time avoiding her gaze.
This would be the first time he was standing this close to a lady other than his sister and it was strangely weird to him.
June chuckled walking closer and Fawn shook his legs, trying to remain in his position.
“Do I have an effect on you?” She asked, and Fawn scoffed, looking at her.
“Really?” He muttered and June chuckled.
“It’s obvious.” She giggled and Fawn looked away.
“Until, you pay me the money, I’ll announced to the school that you are my boyfriend, okay.” She said and Fawn’s eyes widened.
“You’re joking, right??” He asked.
“Do I look like I am?? Do it or leave MC?” She asked and Fawn slapped his head in frustration.
“Don’t you get the fact that I don’t wanna have anything to do with you?” He cried out.
“I don’t. The only thing I understand is that I like… No, I love you.” She confessed and Fawn looked at her confusedly.
“Really?” He muttered.
“Yes! C’mon let’s go announce to the whole world that you are my boyfriend.” She slapped him his arm, pulling him out of the classroom.
“Hey listen here! Stop this!, I’m not coming with you.” Fawn said as he was been pulled away.
They took the other way, so they didn’t see Ashley who was at the window.
Ashley arched his brows, looking puzzled.

“Hey everyone!!!” June squealed, immediately she got into their lecture hall, holding Fawn’s hand.
The students looking at the two, gasping.

“So most of you might have sometimes, wondered what relationship I share with this handsome dude over here. Well, I wanna announce to you guys today what’s going on so you girls cast your eyes off my man. Fawn here is my boyfriend!” She squealed and murmurs filled the air.
“What!!!” Paisley sprang up immediately. Everyone turned to her.
“You’re joking June, isn’t it?” She asked.
“Of course not. I’m dead serious.” June affirmed, turning to Fawn.

He groaned inwardly.
“Yes. June and I are dating. I love her so much.” He said but they didn’t take note of the sarcasm in the word ‘love’ which he said, instead the ‘awwn’ gasp filled the air.
“Awwn, I love you too boiffy.” She said and planted a kiss on his cheeks.
“I guess it’s true coz Fawn doesn’t let a girl around him.” Someone said and Paisley, folded her fist before storming out of the class.
The students gather around and started taking selfies of the two.

A white Bugatti model, drove into the premises, parking in front of the building.
The guard came out and opened the passenger’s door for it’s boss. A pair of slender legs in a gold heels, came into view.
Alecia got down from the car, looking utterly stunning. Her hair curled in a ringlet, with the tip tinted gold.
She was wearing a gorgeous black gown and held a silver purse.

She heard the people say as the camera lights from the paparazzi bleeped at her as she walked majestically into the studio with her bodyguards who Leroy assigned for her shielding her.
Everyone turned their eyes towards her towards the moment her presence was noticed in the studio, making her itch the nape of her neck in discomfort.
“Alecia Hewitt right??” A middle aged asked immediately he saw her.
“Yes sir.” She nodded.
“Wow, you’re beautiful than I expected.” He said and Alecia only smiled.
“Director Philip.” He said, stretching out his hand for an handshake and she took it gracefully.

The people murmured amongst themselves but Alecia cared less. That’s what she has made up her mind to do if she’s ready to attain what she wants.

“You all face your script!” Director Mark shunned them.
“I got a call from you, you-” Alecia said.
“Yes, yes. Actually, the lady that was supposed to be filming the second main lead role suddenly quitted so I called you. Leroy actually told me about you. He’s my friend if you must know.” He said and Alecia nodded.
“I’m honoured.” She said and they suddenly began hearing noises making them turn.
Alecia eyes widened when she saw the two people that walked into the studio.
Reyna Mortiz and Jasper Reynold!!
Her two favorite actors and role models! They’re very popular and rumors have it that Reyna and Jasper are actually dating.
Wow! Was she really gonna be working with them??
She thought in amazement.
“Reyna! Jasper! You two are here?” Director Philip said to them and they nodded with a smile.
“Yeah. Good morning director Philip.” They greeted. Reyna turned to Alecia.
“Who’s she??” Reyna asked.
“She’s the second main character, she’ll be supporting you.” She said and Reyna mouthed an ‘O’.
“She’s the one. She’s cool.” She said and Alecia smiled, she just complimented by her role model.
“Hi, I’m Reyna.” Reyna introduced, stretching out her hand for a shake and Alecia’s eyes widened.
Really? Was… Her role model, offering her a handshake?? Her eyes bulged and she felt flattered.
She slowly stretches out her hand and received the shake.
“Alecia. Alecia Hewitt.” She said and Reyna nodded.
“Nice name, I think I like you already. What do you think Jasper?” Reyna asked Jasper who had his eyes on his phone all through.
“Jasper!” She called and Jasper snapped out of it.
“What the heck are you doing with your phone?” Reyna asked and he quickly pocketed his phone.
“Nothing, what were you saying?” He asked and Reyna shook her head.
“She’ll be acting the supporting role.” Reyna said, nudging at Alecia and Jasper looked at her.
A lustful look flashed in his eyes and he licked his lips, ogling at her. Alecia cringed at that gaze.
“Sèxy.” He muttered, with a cunning smirk.
“Huh?”
“I mean, she’s okay.” He said and they all smiled.
“Okay, the shoot will be starting in three hours. Everyone revise your script. Come get your script Alecia.” Director Philip said and she gasped.
“Wait, are we starting right away??” She asked.
“Of course.” He said and she wowed.

Fawn scooped the running water in his hands and poured on his face for the umpteenth time.
He suddenly stopped and rested his hands on the sink looking at his image in the mirror.
Why was he getting entangled with the Zhang?? Was it a destiny that they cluster around this people. The whole thing wasn’t just clear.
What if they found out that he was Madison’s brother??
He knew very well what that family did to her, they were cruel to his sister. Getting entangled with them was the last thing on his mind.
He still wanted to get his sister’s justice, but not now. Not this way.
He sighed and resumed washing his face again.
The door opened and Ashley walked in.
He dropped his bag on the counter and turned on the tap on the next sink and began washing his hand.
Fawn turn off the tap and made to walk out when…
“I can give you the money if you want.” Ashley said, and Fawn stopped walking.
“I know you don’t want this. You don’t like all this which is happening. You don’t wanna be June’s girlfriend. I know. I can give you the money, and you’ll stay away from June.” Ashley said and Fawn turned to him.
He looked dead serious.

Valerie descended the stairs, swinging her car keys as she made her way out of the house.
She got out to the garage and hop on her black SUV. She ignited the engine and drove out of the compound.
A guard came out of the corner her was standing. He brought out his phone and dialled Jeffrey’s number.
“Sir, she left.” He said.

Super freaky girl by Nicki Minaj played in Valerie’s car as she drove down to the airport.
She shook her head in rhythm to the beat of the music as she drove. She got to the pedestrian cross and stopped driving, at the same time Fawn got there in his bike.
Valerie turned to him, she saw him but she couldn’t see his face. He was wearing a helmet.
She returned her gaze to the front but her eyes dilated when it caught something.
The mark on his hand??!
That familiar birthmark, he had his own his hand while she had hers on her back and he was only wearing one glove. The other hand which wasn’t covered was the one which had the birthmark.
Her eyes widened and turned to look at him but the traffic light turned green and Fawn rode his bike away.
Valerie’s eyes widened.
“Fawn??” She muttered.
