Alecia yawned loudly, sitting up on the bed. She rubbed her eyes, sleepily.
Her mind suddenly wavered to what happened last night and she rushed to check if he was still in the balcony, but he wasn’t there.
She sighed in relief. She didn’t even know when she fell asleep. She planned to open the door for him, but he should stay there for thirty minutes more.
She had her brush before going downstairs to meet Leroy already having his breakfast.
He didn’t even look up at her and she greeted him but he didn’t reply.
“Good morning!” She greeted again, very loud this time but Leroy still didn’t reply.
She twisted her lips, glaring at him. Then she took the plate of food from him.
“What??” He asked.
“Wow, you’re really snubbing my greetings aren’t you?” She asked and he sighed.
“Wait, you’re angry because of the incident last night?” She asked, feigning surprise.
“My food?” He requested and she shook her head.
“Answer my question first, are you?” She asked and he sighed.
“No, now can I have my food?” He asked and she smirked.
“It’s obvious you’re lying.” She said and he furrowed his brows.
He shook his head and began serving himself food in another plate.
“You’re really angry with me. But I should be the one mad at you. You didn’t keep to your promise.” She bantered but he ignored her.
“Such a jerk.” She muttered as she sat opposite him, and began eating his own food.
A bodyguard walked up to Leroy and whispered something into his ears and his facial expression went blank.
“No!” He deadpanned and the guy nodded walking away.
Alecia pursed her lips, wondering what the bodyguard could have said that made his expression changed so suddenly.
She simply faced her food, not wanting to ask him even tho she was curious on knowing what he said.
Just then, they began hearing barking of an astray dog.
Alecia looked at Leroy who still had that undecipherable look on his face. She simply shrugged but seems the astray dog finally got loosed coz what they heard next was…
“Leroy!!!!!!” Glenys shouted on top of her voice walking into the living room. She smirked when she saw them on the dining table.
“Here you are.” She said, walking towards them, her eyes seething anger.
The bodyguard tried going after her but Leroy stopped him with a hand.
“What do you want Glenys?” He asked instead and Glenys laughed.
“Now it’s Glenys. You @sshole! You dare ditch me for this brazen p*$$y!” She yelled and Alecia chuckled.
“Okay, I’ll take it like I didn’t hear that… Whatever dispute you two have, sort it between yourself. Do not involve me!” Alecia told her, with an unfriendly smile.
“Shut your trash! You don’t talk when notabilities are talking!” Glenys shut her and Alecia chuckled.
“What’s riches without brains??” Alecia asked and Glenys gritted.
“You b*tch!” She made to slap her but Alecia caught her hand in midair, standing up with it.
They were both glaring daggers.
“Let go!” Glenys warned.
“I’d have slapped you but I don’t want to make your face look any better. Besides stupidity isn’t a crime, so you’re free to go.” Alecia said and pushed her, Glenys fell harshly on her butt.
Leroy just stood there watching in amazement. He didn’t know when a smile formed on his face.
“There are some remarkably dumb people in this world. Thanks for helping me understand that. You drew away a rare diamond giving to you at a platter of gold and I picked it up, aren’t you ashamed to come back and claim it?? My bad, I forgot you’re stupid. Stupid people are shameless.” Glenys stood up immediately and rushed to Leroy.
She held his arms, and Leroy immediately tried removing her hand from his.
“Leroy, all these aren’t happening right?? You love me! This marriage is fake… Please, don’t do this to me, I love you!” She said desperately and Alecia grimaced.
Seems she’s dumber than she thought.
Alecia thought, clenching her fist. She didn’t know why she was feeling the surge of anger building up in her. She found herself walking to Glenys and she grabbed her arm, pushing her roughly on the ground.
“Since you’re so dumb to understand simple ‘You lost him’ this would do.” She said and turned to Leroy, she grabbed his collar pulling him closer.
“I’m only doing this for your own good, to get this b*tch out of here… No strings attached.” She said before claiming his lips in hers.
“No… No!!! No!!! Leroy!!! You’re mine!!! No!!!” Glenys shouted like a mad woman that she was as she watched them kiss, it looked so passionate that one would find it hard to believe it was fake.

Fawn inhaled deeply as he stared at the bold school’s logo on the big gate.
Finally, he got to attend his dream school. A short smile form on his lips and he exhaled. He dipped his hands into his pocket before stepping a foot into the school.

🗣️ I’m tripping.

He could hear the girls murmured as he walked past them, wondering where his department was located.
He sighed before making his way to a girl, who was gawking at him.
He ignored her awkward stares and asked her what he wanted to know.
“Excuse me, do you know where the business management department is?” He asked and the girl bopped her head up and down.
“Ye… Yes…” She replied.
“I’m actually heading that way, let’s go.” She told him and Fawn nodded, following her behind.
“Here is your department. I presume you’re a freshman.” She said when they arrived in front of the business management building and he nodded.
“Yes.”
“Alright, Go in. I’m heading the other route.” She said and he nodded.
“Thanks.” He said and she smiled.
“You’re welcome cutie.” She winked before walking away.
Fawn exhaled staring at the building in front of him. “Meadow College, Fawn is here. Now let’s get the darn paper.” He said before walking towards the building.
He was almost already entering the building when the students around began screaming making him wonder what was wrong.

They squealed as the three idols alighted from their different cars. No one knows if they usually wait for each other on the road but the three normally come to school together in their different cars.
TWILIGHT are the idols of the freshman business management. They’re three best friends. Their bond has been since their childhood.
They’re all from a rich home. June is the craziest among the three friends. Pretty and jovial. Also very intelligent.
Paisley is the rudest among them. Her pride is out of the world. She’s very arrogant unlike the rest. She’s pretty as well but June beats her to it.
Ashley being the only boy amongst them is the coolest of them all. Jovial and cheerful. He is presumed to be a gay but the truth is that he isn’t. Infact, he has a crush on June which she is unaware of.
Fawn shook his head, “I thought college would make a difference. Guess I was wrong.” He said and made to walk inside when.
“Hubby!!!” That familiar voice screamed and he stood transfixed on the spot.
He didn’t turn to look at her till he felt her wrap her hands around him, her palm resting on his chest.
He could swear he felt his heart twitched.
“You came.” She muttered, resting her head on his back, smiling widely.

Ashley felt an unfathomable anger as he watched them. Jealousy slowly crawling up in him while Paisley just stared confused.
Who is the guy??

“What’s up bro? Why did you wanted to see us all of a sudden? I thought you were bridging gap.” Daryl said and Richie nodded.
“Me too.” He said sipping from his wine and Jeffrey sighed.
The three were currently in Daryl’s lounge over a bottle of wine.
“Guys, I ruined my life. I’m tired of my life already. These days, I just wake up with the feeling of ending everything. The guilt is killing me. Her face keeps haunting me and Evie isn’t helping matters, not one bit. She caused all this. I hate my life.” He cried.
“Calm down dude. What’s wrong? What did you do?” Richie asked, looking very curious.
“Is there something we don’t know Jeff?” Daryl asked.
“Tell us what’s bothering you Jeffrey, we’re your friends. We could help. Remember, a problem shared is solved.” Richie said and Jeffrey sighed.
Maybe it’s time he told someone of it, the guilt was already eating him up. Tho Evie strictly warned him not to let anyone else know. It was between the two of them.
“Well, actually… Three years ago…” He paused looking at them.
The curiosity in their faces was vivid.
He shook his head and stood up.
“Where are you going to?”
“Jeffrey! Jeff!” They shouted as he walked out of the mansion.
He got into his car and drove out of the estate. He parked few metres away from it and decided to cry out his eyes…. Crying after all they said helps reduce the pain.
His mind flashed back to one of his moment with Madison … She was pregnant then and her baby bump was already visible.

He was massaging her legs while she sat on the chair watching a movie whilst she ate cookies.
She suddenly took her legs from him and beckoned on him.
“Come sit beside me Theo.” She said and Theo smirked.
“Why? Missed me?” He asked and she pouted.
“Come muffin, the baby…. It’s… Come…” She called and Theo chuckled before going to sit beside her.
She smiled snuggling on him, resting her head on his chest.
Theo smiled as well, stroking her hair.
“Muffin, thought of a name for our baby??” She asked and Theo hummed.
“Not yet tho. You?” He asked and she smiled.
“Of course I have. Alex, if it is a boy. Alexa if it’s a girl.” She grinned.
“Nice name.” He said and she smiled. She began trailing her fingers on his chest.
“You love doing that, don’t you??” He asked and she nodded.
“I do. This is my best position. I get to hear your heartbeat whenever I place my head on your chest and by trailing my fingers around your chest, I’ve learnt your abs structure and I can always find you easily in the dark.” She said and he laughed.
“Really??”
“Yes. I love you Theo.”
“I love you too Madi.” He replied.
“You won’t ever leave me right. You won’t right??” She asked and he stared at her.
“Theo??” She raised her head to stare at him.
“Sure. I won’t.” He said and she smiled widely.
“I love you.” She said kissing his lips.

He broke the promise. He f**king betrayed her.

“Hey Alecia. What’s up? Why haven’t I been seeing you around??” Nice, her colleague asked.
“What’s here to do? I finally realized that acting… It’s not my calling Nice, so I’m resigning.” Alecia said and Nice stared at her surprisedly.
“You’re joking right?”
“I can’t be more serious. I’m going to talk to director Xu right now. See you around.” Alecia stood up and left, for director Xu’s office.
She placed a knock on the door and he opened it when he asked her in.
“Good day director Xu.” She greeted.
“How may I help you?” Director Xu asked instead she sighed before replying.
“I wanna resign director Xu.” She informed and director Xu looked up.
“Really??”
“Yes.” She replied and director Xu nodded and gave her a paper which was already on his desk.
“Here. Sign the resignation letter.” He handed the papers to her and she raised her brows.
Was he already waiting for her??
“Director Xu??”
“Have it!” He urged and she slowly took it from him.
She sat on a chair and began going through the paper. She looked at him when she was done.
“What about the contract agreement??” She asked and director Xu raised a brow.
“Seriously?? Which contract are you talking about??” He asked and she furrowed her brows.
“The movie contract.” She said and he chuckled.
“Oh my Alecia. I always thought you were daft but you just proved it.” He said.
“What are you talking about??”
“We never gave you any contract Alecia. We just saw this coming. You’re incompetent. Even my dog is rational compared to you.” He said and Alecia balled her fist, her eyes were dilated in shock.
“What about the paper I signed?” She asked slowly, her lips were trembling already.
“Of course it was fake… Poor you. You couldn’t even decipher the whole thing. How dumb, tsk tsk.” He clicked his tongue shaking his head.
“Wow… Wow… Just wow.” She muttered, staring surprisingly.
So this how dumb she was. She got played and she didn’t even notice it. So had she gotten the lead role, all her efforts would have been futile. Wow… Just wow.
But why would they do this to her?
“Why did you do it?” She suddenly asked, in a surprisingly calm tone.
“Are you asking me that?”
“Why did you do it! I get I’m not very good but how could you do this to me! Is it my fault I dreamt to be an actress?! Why didn’t you believe in me for once?! Why the hàte?! Where did I go wrong?! I personally begged you for this contract! How could you ditch me! I agree I am incompetent but you should have told me to my face rather doing this to me you dipstick!!” She yelled.
“What do you just call me??” Director Xu asked.
“Exactly what you heard old fool! You’ll surely pay for this in a thousand folds! Mark my words moron!” She said and dashed out of the office.

“Mom please. I have an important meeting right now. Jane is the one supposed to pick Leo from school, if she’s not there Jeffrey can do it, not me! I’m very busy, please.” Evie said to her mom on the phone.
“Seriously Evie?? Did you even check the time?? Your son is still in school and all you care about is your work! His school teacher wouldn’t have called me if he wasn’t already tired, damnit! I won’t say this twice, Evie go get your son from school now!” Her mom ordered sternly.
Just then, the office door opened and Valerie walked in.
“I’m not going mom! Call Jane or Jeffrey. I have to go now. My meeting is starting right now.” Evie rushed and ended the called, she sighed loudly.
“You look pissed.” Valerie said.
“Very very.” Evie replied, quickly picking the things she’ll need for the meeting.
“What happened?”
“My mom. She wants me to pick Leo from school when I have meeting right now.” Evie replied.
“Oh… What’s the name of the school? I can help you.” Valerie told her and Evie smiled.
“Cool. PRIME…STONE ELEMENTARY I think that’s the name.” Evie said and Valerie nodded.
“Thanks. I’ll see you after the meeting. Bye!” She scurried off and Valerie smiled, she turned around and made to leave that was when she noticed Evie’s phone which was ringing on the table.
She actually forgot it while rushing out.
Who could be calling??
She furrowed her brows as she picked the phone. She rolled her eyes seeing the ID caller, ‘SWEETHEART’.
She already knew who it was. Theo!
She picked up nevertheless.
“Hel-”
“Where the heck are you Evie?!” Jeffrey’s panicked voice sounded on the other side making Valerie arched her brows in confusion.
“Actually… Ev-”
“Leo is missing!!!” He dropped the bombshell and her eyes widened thrice bigger than it usual size.
Her grip loosened on the phone and it fell down to the ground, with the screen cracking badly.
“What!!! Alex!!” Her lips trembled.
