” You said you wanna see me, is anything wrong?” Pierce asked Arthur when he took her to the waterfall.
Arthur faced her and held her hands gently.
” I’m sorry, Pierce. Everything was my fault, I shouldn’t have done that in the first place” he muttered staring into her eyes sadly.
” What?”
” Five years ago, I was the only that brou-ght up the marriage proposal, it was actually my decision. Even though I knew you had someone else in your life, I still went ahead due to my selfishness. I separated your daughter from her dad… I,,,” He sniffs.
” I’m the bad person here, I don’t deserve your love. When I met Louis that night at the restaurant, I knew he looked familiar. The way he was protective and caring towards you confirmed my suspicions. And when I saw Gold the night you introduced her to me, I saw the resemblance between her and Louis. She’s Louis’s daughter, right?” He asked.
” Yes, she’s his daughter. You don’t have to blame yourself, Arthur. You were just a young boy in love then and if someone is to be blamed, it’s my Dad not you” Pierce said.
” Still I shouldn’t have done that, I was just so in love with you that I wasn’t thinking straight at all. I love you, Pierce, I do very much, but I think I nee-d to stop now. You should find a way to talk to Louis, I don’t want to be an obstacle anymore”
Pierce smiled sadly.
” I’m sorry, Arthur. I’m sorry I couldn’t still bring myself to love you, I’m sorry for hurting your feelings” she said.
Arthur cleaned the tears in his eyes before hu-gging her.
” I love you, Pierce” he muttered, crying softly.
Pierce wrapped her arms around him, patting his back softly.
” You’ll meet the one for you soon, Arthur” she muttered.
Arthur broke the hu-g and before Pierce could blink her eyes, he pressed his li-ps on hers..
Louis arrived at that moment, and what he felt then was beyond rage.
” Damn, that as-s-hole” he gritted his teeth and marched towards them angrily.
Pierce blinks her eyes rapidly in shock and when she tried pushing him, Louis dragged Arthur away from her rou-ghly. He landed a punch on his face immediately.
” Don’t you ever think of touching my woman again” he yelled and continue giving Arthur ha-rd punches on his face.
” Louis, stop it!” Pierce tries to drag him away
Louis turns to face her
” Don’t let me ever see you with her again or else, you might visit heaven soon” he grabs Pierce’s hand and took her away.
Arthur watched as they left and wiped his bloody li-ps, maybe that’s his payment for separating them before.
” Let me go, Louis!” Pierce snatched her hand from him and he stopped and faced her in anger.
” Why did you allow him to ki-ss you? Were you that angry at me?” He asked.
” I don’t think you have the right to know why I ki-ssed him, afterall you have a girlfriend” he tries to walk away but Louis pulled her to a ki-ss as he ki-ssed her rou-ghly.
” What are you doing!” Pierce tries to struggle with him.
” I’mfu-cking wiping that bastard’s touch of you!” He said.
Pierce pushed him away in anger and slapped him.
” Stop confusing my feelings. One moment you’re sweet and the other moment you’re cold! If you want to keep on holding onto the past, then it’s fine! I won’t beg you anymore” she yelled in anger.
” Why didn’t you tell me we have a child? Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant then? Why!!” Louis yells.
” How,, how did you find out?”
” Do you know how many times I kept crying in pains when you left me, even while I was at the hospital and almost dying, though you never came even when my mom called you, I still couldn’t bring myself to hate you”
” Hospital? What are you talking about? You had an accident?” Pierce asked, her anger fleeing out of the her body to the air.
” Weren’t you aware about it? My mom told me she called you while I was at the hospital, I was almost dying then but she told me you said you don’t care about me anymore. You don’t even care if I die or go to hell, I was so hurt, Pierce”
” I didn’t receive any call from your mom, my Dad seized my phone, I couldn’t even call you because of that” Pierce muttered.
” Then my mom was lying? Let’s go” he grab her hand and took her to his car.

BECKETT’S HOUSE***
Louis entered the house in rage, he just couldn’t un-derstand why his mom lied to him five years ago. He already dropped Pierce at her house while he drove here.
” Louis, did you see the girl? Why did you ask that lady to bring Vee home?” Elena asked as she went to meet him.
” Where’s mom?” Louis asked ignoring her question.
” Mom? She’s in her room, why?” Elena asked.
Louis ignored her and went to his mom’s room. He was just too angry to talk.
He barged into his mom’s room without knocking.
” Why did you lie to me, mom? Why!!” He yelled.
” What are you talking about Louis? Why are you angry? Clara came to me today and told me you broke up with her,,”
” Stop talking about Clara, it’s annoying the shit outta me! Why did you lie to me about Pierce? You told me you called her when I was unconscious five years ago, you lied to me mom! Why, do you know how long I kept hating her even when she was innocent. She was pregnant with my child, mom and I wasn’t there for her. If only you had told me the truth then, I would have known everything wasn’t her fault” Louis shouted.
” What are you saying? Pierce was pregnant?” Mrs. Beckett asked in shock.
” For five years, my daughter lived without knowing her dad, I didn’t even know of her existence. It hurts mom” tears came out of his eyes.
” It was for your good, Louis. I did it for you, I never wanted you to get hurt again. I had no choice but to lie to you so you could get well” Mrs. Beckett said.
” I’m so disappointed in you, mom” Louis shook his head and left the room.
Elena rushed in immediately.
” Mom, are you okay?” She asked her mom.
” I’m a bad mother, my son hates me. I did that out of protection, I didn’t know I was hurting him” Mrs. Beckett cried.
” I didn’t even had an idea she was with my grandchild then”
Elena stare at her mom in confusion. If her guess is right, then could it be?
Her eyes wide-ned at the realization.

PIERCE’S APARTMENT***
” Momma, I saw an angel today” Gold clapped her hands excitedly as she talked to Pierce.
She already moved out of her parent’s house.
” Really?” Pierce asked.
” Yes, he gave me this” she showed Pierce the ne-cklace Louis gave her.
” He gave you this?” Pierce asked staring at the ne-cklace in Gold’s hand. It’s the ne-cklace the both of them wore on their anniversary five years ago.
” Yes momma, I wish he’s my dad. He’s so cute like me” Gold said.
Pierce smiled.
” Do you wanna meet him again?” She asked.
Gold’s eyes shone in happiness.
” Yes! Yes! I want to see him again” she screamed.
” Well then, I’ll let you meet him again. Don’t worry baby, you’ll be meeting your dad soon” she muttered.
” I can’t wait” Gold climbed up to her lap-s and sat on it.
” Can I sleep like this?” She asked cutely.
” Sure, princess. You’re my baby after all” Pierce placed her on her lap-s and Gold slept off.
” Charlotte really made things easier for me. I love you” Pierce mumbled to herself as she couldn’t stop smiling.
” What was I thinking when I said I’d stop loving him?” She grinned.

Vera served the customers in the restaurant and went back to the counter. She was so tired and her shift is not over yet.
That’s how her life has always been ever since her parents p@$$ed away in a car accident. She has been going from one jobs to another just to cater for herself and luckily she found this restaurant and the pay is very good, that’s why she focused on working here alone.
” Vera, go and serve table 14, he’s asking of you” her coworker said to her.
” Alright” Vera carried the menu book and walked to the table.
” Good evening, what do you want sir?” She asked politely.
Rhett removed the book from his face and she gasped.
” Rhett?”
He smiled handsomely at her
” How did you find here?” Vera asked.
” I only followed you after you left school” he shrugged.
Vera smiled.
” Are you here to order something?”
” Do you know what I want?” He asked.
Vera nods the negative.
” You” he winks and Vera coughed loudly.
” Hey, what are you saying?” She asked awkwardly.
” Your mind is so dirty. What were you thinking before?” He asked smiling.
” Nothing” Vera cleared her throat.
” When will you be done?” He asked.
” 8pm, why?” She asked
” Nothing, go on and do your work, I’ll be here waiting for you” he smiled.
Vera quickly turned away and went to serve some customers with her heart beating loudly against her che-st.

Vera walked out of the restaurant and Rhett went to meet her. He was waiting outside for her.
” Is this how you keep going late everyday?” He asked as they walked along the road.
” Yes, no one to query me when I get home late” she replied.
Rhett stared at her before taking her hand into his room.
Vera glanced at him and he smiled.
” I just feel like holding your hand” he muttered
” Did you bring your car” She asked trying to calm her racing heart.
” No, I don’t think there’s a nee-d for me to”
He suddenly stopped and Vera gaze at him.
” What? Is something on my face?” She asked touching her face gently as Rhett couldn’t stop staring at her.
” You’re so beautiful” he mumbled.
” And your dimples drives me crazy” he added
” You’re making me blus-h” Vera blurted out covering her cheeks lightly.
” Really? Then I nee-d to make you do that everyday” he winks at her and continue walking.
Vera glanced at their intertwined hands before staring at him with a smile on her li-ps.
” I love you, Rhett” she mumbled to herself.

LOUIS’S APARTMENT**
” Can you just stop drinking? Stop hurting yourself, Louis” Kingsley said to Louis as he drank the third bottle of alcohol
” It hurts, Kingsley. I wasn’t there for her, those times she was in pain, I wasn’t there for her. I hated her not knowing it wasn’t her fault. I moved on and forgot about her” Louis muttered in tears.
” You don’t have to blame yourself, Louis. You dated Clara so you could make your mom happy not knowing she’s the sole reason behind your hatred for Pierce. You can’t just blame your mom, she’s a mother after all” Kingsley said.
” I still can’t believe I’m a father. I have a daughter and a very cute one to be precised..” Louis stopped and faced Kingsley staring at him drunkenly.
” Do you know how I felt when I saw her? I felt this strong connection between us, she even called me an angel. I feel like a bad father, king” Louis mumbled.
Kingsley sighs. This was how he has been drinking and lamenting since he arrived hours ago. He has tried means for him to stop drinking but failed.
” I still love her, King. I never stopped loving her,, not even once” Louis slurred drunkenly.
” Do you want her to come over?” Kingsley asked.
” No, no” Louis waved his hand.
” I bet she wouldn’t wanna see my face. I wouldn’t have thought of going back to her if I hadn’t found out about my daughter….”
Louis kept talking and crying in pain. Kingsley had no choice but to call Pierce. He took Louis’s phone on the table and called her.
A while later, Pierce rushed into the house and went to meet Louis immediately. His head is on the table, he fell asleep few minutes ago.
” He couldn’t stop blaming himself that’s why I invited you over. He really nee-ds you, Pierce and I hope you can both sort it out” Kingsley said.
Pierce stares at him.
” Oh, you don’t have to be confused as to how I knew your name, Louis is my best friend and I practically know everything about him” Kingsley said.
” Thank you,,” Pierce stopped when she didn’t know what to call him.
” Kingsley,, it’s Kingsley”
” Thank you, Kingsley” Pierce smiled.
” Do you nee-d my help you in taking him to his room?” He asked.
” No, it’s fine. I can handle it alone”
” Alright, I’ll get going. Please take care of him” Kingsley muttered before leaving.
Pierce sighs and faced Louis. She rushed here immediately when Kingsley called her, she already told Charlotte to take care of Gold till she arrives the next day cause it’s late already.
” Louis” she taps him gently.
” I’m here, let’s go to your room” she mumbled softly.
Louis raised his head and smiled immediately he saw her.
” Ooh, my Pumpkin is here” he smiled drunkenly.
” Geez, you reek of alcohol” Pierce covered her nose and helped him to his feet.
She placed his hand on her wa-ist and they both went to his room gently.
She placed him on the bed when they got to his room and removed his shoe. She climbed on the bed and removed his shirt.
Louis caught her hand and opened his eyes. He suddenly tossed her over and came on top. His hand trailed from her hair to her face.
” I’m sorry” he whispered.
” I’m sorry for not being there for you all this years, I’m sorry you had to take care of our daughter alone, I’m sorry for hurting you” he mumbled softly.
” I’m sorry too” Pierce whispered.
He smiled and pressed his li-ps on hers. His li-ps moved on hers slowly and their tongues entwined each other.
Louis’s hand went to her br*ast and pressed it softly eliciting a mo-an from her.
” I love you, Pierce. I’ve never for once stopped loving and I’ll always love you till my last breath” he said in a muffled tone.
His li-ps left hers and his head dropped on her che-st. He fell asleep on her che-st with his right hand on her bo-obs.
” He loves me” Pierce’s hand went to her li-ps as she giggled like a teenager who just got her first ki-ss.

THE NEXT MORNING***
Louis opened his eyes and sat up quickly. He tou-ched his head with a Gr0-n, he looked around the room and he saw an hangover soup just beside the bed.
He gulped it down and almost immediately, he felt better.
His eyes wide-ned as he remembered Pierce was at his house last night.
” Is she gone? Please don’t leave” he quickly rushed out of his room and went to the living room. He searched everywhere but she wasn’t in the house.
He went to his room and sat on the bed sadly.
” Can’t believe she left” he mumbled.
Then, he heard the sound of the shower running and his eyes twinkled in happiness. She must be having her bath.
He stood up and without a second thought, he went to the bathroom.
Pierce stood un-der the shower humming a song softly and suddenly gasped when she felt arms wrapped around her from behind.
Louis’s trailed his hand from her wa-ist, to her bellybu-tton. His hands care-ss ed her body lightly before finally cu-pping her bo-obs.
Pierce subconsciously leaned unto his che-st and breathes out softly. His hand ru-bbed her nipp!es softly and she turned to look at him.
When she turned to look at him, Louis smashed his li-ps on hers immediately. His hands gripped her wa-ist ti-ghtly as he ravished her mouth with his.
He pinned her to the wall and broke the ki-ss staring into her eyes.
” I’m sorry, Pumpkin” he whispered staring into her eyes lovingly.
” I’m sorry too” she whispered back with her eyes fixed on his li-ps.
She just realized how much she missed him now and that’s the same for Louis. Their nee-ds for each other is overwhelming.
” I love you, Pierce. Sofu-cking much”
” I love you more, much more than you can ever imagine” she replied.
His eyes went to her bo-obs and he chuckled
” You were right, they became much bigger that I thought” he muttered.
Pierce smiled.
Louis carried her in his arms before claiming her li-ps into a hot searing ki-ss.
