Iris stood up from her chair in awe
” He has been using disguise pills, no wonder I’ve not been able to smell the royal scent” she thought surprisingly
“bur-sted” Diamond thought
Iris faced her and smiled
“So you’ve been using the pills too, that’s why I haven’t been able to smell what exactly you are, how clever” Iris said
Diamond only sighed
” Hyung! ” Eleven exclaimed and hvgged Kingston immediately
Kingston can’t help but hvg him back
He wasn’t hoping for it to get bur-sted this way but what can he do?, What’s meant to be is meant to be
“Why did you leave twenty years ago?, Why?, You left the palace, forgetting me, I thought we promised to always be together no matter what, but you forgot everything, I missed you and hoped that I’ll be able to see you again one day cos I was sure you’re still alive, and here you are, why did you do it? ” He said , his tears dampening his shoulder
” I’m sorry Eleven, it’s not my fault, after mother killed that innocent pregnant maid just because she broke her favorite mug by mistake, .. and mother becomes sick every first day of the month cos of the curse layed on her by the maid…
remember they said it’s only when the daughter of the Phoenix is found and killed for mother to drink her blood, that’s when she’ll be free from the curse…but despite the curse, mother never st©pped killing upon the whole that father is critically sick…
The palace bec@m£ suffocating and all Meteor in general, I can’t watch her wicked acts anymore, that’s why I c@m£ to earth that fateful night as a six years old young boy,
I met Andromeda by the gate, and he was the one who told me it’s my destiny to leave Meteor at that time, he said I’ll meet my protector after twenty years on Earth, he said my protector will have blood that can heal,….. Eleven, Only one person in the world has that kind of blood, the only daughter of the Phoenix” Kingston said
Eleven broke the hvg and faced him, his tears are gradually st©pping now
Iris and Diamond alre-ady left the living room for the brothers to discuss things
“So who’s she?, Iris?, Diamond? ” Eleven asked curiously
“It’s Iris” he replied
“What!”
“Yes she’s the only daughter of the Phoenix, the one who nee-ds to be sacrificed for mother’s sickness to st©p” Kingston said
” You don’t mean it”
“I do, and that’s why I’ve been doing my best just to protect her”
“this is bad, I mean.. how ridiculous, why is she the one?”
” I don’t care if she’s the one or not, all I know is that, mother can never have her blood when she finally finds out it’s her” Kingston said
” How will she find out? ” Eleven said
“It’s p@rt of destiny , Andromeda said she’ll find out she’s here soon after I might have found her, I’m still waiting for that time,. When I have to enter the battleground with mother, she can never have Iris” Kingston said with determination
” You love her don’t you? ” Eleven said
“Is it obvious?” Kingston asked, smiling slightly
“Sure, you’re smiling these days.. and besides, she’s easy to like, sweet and kind… When I met her, she made my heart flutter like crazy, I wanted to marry her instantly but fate is against us, she’s for you” Eleven said
“how’s father doing?, And a Princess was born?” He said
“Father’s sickness is getting worse everyday… And I don’t have any hope left on him, and about Lillie.. that’s her name, our sister who took after our mother,. Mother was pregnant before you left, just that it was kept secret and she had to wear really big robes to cover it up, seven months after you left, she was born” Eleven said
“hmm!, A lot has happened, I’m sure you can feel Eragon since you both tied the connection wool, do you still feel he’s alive? ” Kingston asked
Eleven nodded
” Yes , I can feel he’s alive but I don’t just know if he’s fine enough to take care of father” he replied
” Let’s just keep hoping for the best”
“And one more thing, so this means Diamond is not your sister” Eleven said
“I met her six years after I c@m£ to earth, I was twelve years old then, I work at a casino as an errand boy for clients, my boss was so kind then, he later st©pped me from running errands and adopted me as his son, then one day I’m going out with my new dad for a function, we mistakenly hit her with our car and took her to the hospital for treatment…
We found out she’s homeless and dad adopted her too, she’s the best sister you’ll ever ask for, and six years later, dad died of cancer, then I was eighteen, I took over his casino since then, and that’s when Diamond’s sickness started, I had to visit the hospital weekly cos of her and that’s when she opened up to me that she’s not human” Kingston said
” What is she?” Eleven asked
” She made me promise never to tell anyone, she’ll tell it herself when it’s time” Kingston replied
Eleven sighed
Surprisingly they’ve been standing since and they don’t even feel the hurt in their legs
They finally sat
“I heard you once never smile or say sorry” Eleven said
“yes, and that’s because… back then in Meteor, when mum is about to kill a person, the person will plead for mercy and say sorry countless times but that won’t st©p mum from killing the person with a big smile on her face…that’s why I made those two my worse enemies, but when I met Iris,I realized how important those two can be, just that the definitions are different with everyone” he replied
Eleven smiled and stood up again, he walked up to Kingston and squ-atted
He dotted his cheeks
“Hyung I’m hungry” he said pla-yfully
“That again?, You’re crazy” Kingston replied
” I remember those days, when I say that, you’ll call me foodie and I’ll be like “I’m not a foodie,I’m just hungry, tell the maids to cook for me” Eleven replied, pla-ying cute just like when they’re still small
Kingston can’t help but laugh out loud
Eleven laughed with him as memories of the past c@m£ rushing
Diamond and Iris c@m£ back downstairs to meet them laughing like that
Diamond’s eyes almost popped out
“Oppa!” She called surprisingly
Kingston faced her
“What?”
“You’re laughing?” She said
“Any problem with that?” He asked
“I’ve never seen you smile all my life not to talk of laughing, Oppa!” She exclaimed again, rushing to hvg him happily
Iris just kept smiling at what’s happening, liking every bit of it
Diamond broke the hvg and hvgged Eleven, he hvgged her back
She broke the hvg and stood on her toes, pe-cking him
“I’m glad you found out this fast” she said
“You should have told me earlier” he said
” What can I do when he told me not to tell until he does” she replied
” Just like you told him not to tell anyone your real identity until you do so” he replied
She nodded
” Ok ok, enough of it, what should we do today?” Iris said, finally coming down from the stairs where she has been standing
“Let’s eat out!” Diamond suggested
“You don’t have clas-ses?” Kingston said
“I do but…
” Then scratch it, we can eat a delicious dinner instead, you can’t miss clas-ses” Kingston said
“Ok ok, got it” she replied and went upstairs
” So miss Iris, will you go upstairs and prepare for work too?” He said
” As your lordsh!pplea-ses” she replied, bowing before going upstairs
Kingston smiled before facing Eleven
“Mind being an intern in an hospital?, So you won’t have to sit at home all day?” He asked
” I don’t mind, I’ll get to learn about medical too, when am I starting?”
” Today, I’ll take you to Carson on my way to work” he replied
” Ok Hyung!, I’ll go dress up!” He replied before rushing upstairs
Kingston smiled largely
” I’ve never felt so happy like this all my life” he thought

He dropped him at Carson hospitals on his way to work
“He didn’t even go to school, how do you expect me to tackle him” Carson said
” I know, but you’ll be surprised when he starts correcting you in the theatre, at Meteor, we’re all smart, don’t un-derestimate him” Kingston said
“still can’t believe he turned out to be your brother” Carson said
“and for the fact that you’ve once been healed by iris’s blood like you said, that’s what you gain from it, intelligence of the highest order, likewise me,I find myself knowing things I don’t know before Immediately after getting healed by her blood, the intelligence in her blood is transmittable” Kingston said to Eleven
” I Know, I suspected it too, so I’m good to go” Eleven replied
“Come with me” Carson said
Eleven followed him behind while Kingston waved at him before leaving to meet Iris in the car
“He agreed?” She asked
“Sure” he replied
“I’m glad he did” she gushed
He leaned in and pe-cked her
Her cheeks turned red as she blu-shed
He pressed the ignition and started the drive to work…

“Boss!” Hazel’s maids exclaimed as she entered the house with disfigured clothes this morning, shoes in hand
She landed in the be-droom of a Mafia Yesterday and they mistook her as one of their enemies who c@m£ to do something bad, she was beaten and locked up till this morning when the mafia c@m£ and recognized her as the popular Singer
He let her go
She took her seat
“Cold water” she said
Her maids handed it to her and she gulped it all
Snakes?, In an office?, Saying she can command them to bite her?, Is she an immortal?, The as-sas-sin clearly said he killed her” she thought…
” Can’t believe the bit-ch made me pee on my b©dy, gosh!, I’m smelling” she thought
But this ain’t ending yet

Diamond got down from her car at the school parking lot and walked elegantly to her first clas-s
A message popped up on her phone from Isla
*Babe aren’t you coming?*
She smiled and texted back

She added to her pace and soon got to clas-s
Isla and Cole are seated in clas-s alre-ady
She waved and entered fully as they waved back
The only seat left is beside Cole though it felt uncomfortable but she managed
She sat and flashed a cute smile
“You’re late” Isla said
“The clas-s hasn’t started so spare me” she replied
Isla giggled
Cole looked at her but she looked away
Isla can’t help but notice the heavy atmosphere between them, she wondered why
After the clas-s***
“I’m inviting you guys to dinner at my house in the evening by 7pm” she said.
” Really?”
“yes, Eleven turned out to be my brother’s brother” she said as If she just knew
“whoa!, I won’t deny it cos they’re both strikingly handsome” Isla said
Cole kept mute till Diamond left for the libr@ry
” Why the sudden Change?” Isla asked
“I dunno” he replied and led the way to the libr@ry…

The palace is full of the empress noise once again, it’s her pain day and she has been shouting since morning, bleeding away almost all her blood, the bleeding increa-sed this time around and at this rate, she might die soon after two or three more months
The be-dspre-ad she’s on is dampened with her blood alre-ady and her tears kept flowing
Lillie stood by her side, wishing she can just strangle her
“Lillie*
” Yes mother” she replied
” You nee-d to eliminate someone tonight too, a report c@m£ this morning about a man who said something bad about you, eliminate him tonight” she said despite the fact that she’s in horrific pains
“Really?, You’re even heartless in face of pains” she thought
“I can manage the pains on my own, it’ll st©p by twelve anyways,go with Eragon, collect the man’s information from Jung…go!” She ordered
Lillie rushed out of the room down to her dad’s room where Eragon is busy feeding him with food
“Another saving mission” she said
“She has time to be wicked even in pains?, Unbelievable” Eragon said, standing up
” Let’s go get his information from Jung” Lillie said
Jung is the palace chief guard
They left the room and took the information from Jung as promised
He’s Choi Yen…a bead seller
“Let’s go” Eragon said, gr-abbing his sword
They left the palace together that night and went straight to the man’s house, going in throu-gh clever means
He skrie-ked in fear at their sight
“You guys know that the empress spies are everywhere,why do you keep saying things contradictory to her and the throne?, Even if we all know she’s a beast, must you say it out?” Eragon said
“it’s just that…I..
“No time for story, we’re s£nt here to kill you but we’re here to save you, get up” Lillie said
He got up and Eragon held his hand and led him out of the house
They ran as fast as their legs could carry them and the man almost died, he’s too old to travel that far
They took him down the cave in a one hour journey
“Eragon!” Kang min said as he entered with Lillie and Choi Yen
“here is another of mum’s specimen, accommod@t£ him in this cave as well” Lillie said
” Who are we to say no, come in” min said
Choi Yen went in
“Stay here with them and you’ll be fine, by the way where’s Kayla?” Eragon asked
” She asleep alre-ady” Kang Min replied
“Just be careful and don’t come out of this cave in the afternoon , you can only come out at night or very early in the morning” Eragon said
” Sure” Choi Yen replied
They later left the place and journeyed back to the palace
Lillie kept smiling
“Why?” Eragon asked
“It feels so good to be good” she replied
“Now you know” he replied as he heard movements in the shru-bs
They stood still and Lillie’s eyes wi-de-ned when she saw Jung, the palace chief guard, coming down their way
“Why is that man here by this hour?” Lillie said
“He mustn’t see us, else there’ll be suspicions, come!” Eragon said and pu-ll-ed Lillie with him , they both fell and rolled down a sloppy area till they landed with Eragon on t©p of her
They kept their breathing steady
“What’s that sound?, Might be an animal” Jung thought and pas-sed by
Eragon felt he has gone and made to stand up from on t©p of her, their eyes locked and Lillie’s heart can’t st©p beating ra-pidly
His eyes caught herl-ips and he was tem-pted but he restrained himself
He made to stand again but Lillie Won’t let him
She tilted up to his level and pressed herl-ips on his….

“It’s delicious!, Who made it?” Isla said, tasting the different dishes
They’re alre-ady having dinner at Kingston’s house and it’s the best ever
Carson and Skylar are pres£nt too, she c@m£ back from Poland just this evening
Isla and Cole
Then the landlords themselves
It’s like it’ll rain soon cos the breeze is just much
It’s past seven alre-ady and it’s dark outside
“I made all the dishes” Diamond said
“I know right?, No better chef than you” Isla remarked
Cole ate silently
Eleven kept stealing glances at Diamond and she noticed
Kingston sat with Carson and Skylar, eating and discussing
Iris sat with a bowl of tamarind, eating calmly and smiling as she did
The rain started soon as guessed
Diamond suddenly can’t find Eleven in the dinning again
She went upstairs and checked his room but she can’t find him
The restrooms, he’s abs£nt
Then her mind drifted to the backdoor balcony
She went there and saw him standing, collecting the rain water in his hand
She smiled before going to join him
“Hey you like rain that much?” She said
He faced her with a smile
“Yes ma’am” he replied pla-yfully
“Same here” she replied, collecting the water with her palm too
With their palms in the rain, they kept staring at each other
Diamond is actually staring at hisl-ips, her heart thumping
Eleven can’t help but feel his heart racing too
His eyes fell on herl-ips and he gulped ha-rd
Diamond can’t control it anymore
She took a step closer and stood on her toes, capturing hisl-ips de-eply,….
Meanwhile, Cole is busy looking for her too
He went upstairs to her room but can’t find her
He c@m£ back and she’s still not at the dinning room
Only Isla who’s busy eating
“Where could she be?” He thought
He went out into the compound despite the rain
It drenched him as he searched
He’s about to go back in when saw an heartbreaking scene by the balcony…. Diamond k!ss!ngEleven
His heart fell and shattered…
