Cole quic-kly stood and offered her water, she gulped it down till half while he ru-bbe-d her back
She took the cu-p from her mouth and refused to look up
“Are you better?” Cole asked
“Oh .. em…yes” she replied awkwardly
“Diamond you don’t have to be shy to look me in the face, I’m not saying you should say your mind right now, I …
“No, I’ll say it right now” she interrupted
“oh really?”
“yes”
” Then I’m listening”
“I’m ….I…I don’t think we can be possible” she said, finally looking up
“really?, Why?” He said, mere listening to his voice, you’ll know he’s hurt with that answer
“I … I’m sorry but I only like you as a friend” she said, drawing circles on the table with her f!nger
“but I love you…I can wait till you’ll start liking me , I don’t want to steal pe-cks again, …. Do you know how I feel everyday when I see you?, I feel like k!ss!ngyou non-stĀ©p but I just had to cover up my feelings with stolen pe-cks but that ain’t helping anymore, Diamond plea-se” he said, holding her hands on the table
” Cole I’m sorry, I can’t deceive you cos I’ll die of guilt, and I don’t know how to deceive people entirely, it’s not possible” she replied, stylishly taking her hands from him
” Why?, You have someone you like alre-ady?” He asked
That instant, Eleven c@mĀ£ into her head
She can’t help but say the truth
She looked him directly in the face
“Yes…I’m sorry Cole” she replied and Immediately took her bag, she left hurriedly
Cole fought back his tears
He just got rejected at his first confession and it hurts
So much that he feels like crying

Diamond felt bad throu-ghout her drive back home
” It’s strange and unexpected, he loves me?, But I don’t, and he’ll be hurt right now” she thought sadly
“I really can’t believe he just confessed to me, so all those pe-cks I took as mere joke meant something, gosh!”
She got home and stayed in the car for a while, reminiscing about what just happened…

“You can go, Lillie stay back” she said

” It’s the beginning of another new month tommorow, my pain day” Aurora said sadly
” Even better” Lillie thought Inwardly
“I’m so sad mum, you’ll have to be in be-d , bleed and scream in pains all day” she said pathetically
“just stay with me like you used to do, if you’re by my side,then it’ll hurt less” she said
” Sure mother, I will” she replied
” And one more thing, why are you always in your dad’s room these days” she suddenly asked
” That?, I go there to tell him words that’ll never make him heal” she replied
” Yes,that’s exactly what he nee-ds cos he can never get up from that be-d, he’s suffering for his sins” she said
” Sins?” Lillie said
” You won’t un-derstand so it’s advisable to wait for the right time before you know” Aurora replied

Diamond didn’t meet Iris and Kingston at home when she got back home, they must be off to work alre-ady
She walked grudgingly to the living room and sat there, staring into space

He made to go ask what’s wrong but he remembered the k!ssyesterday, he stepped back
He made to go back upstairs but she saw him alre-ady
“Eleven” she called, looking up
He looked back surprisingly

She stood from her seat and walked up to him
She drew him closer in a ti-ght hvg
“Eleven, what do I do?, I’m in love with you” she said flatly
His heart Started beating fast as she held unto him
“Huh?… What?” He said unbelievably

” You didn’t figure it out yet?, Why do you think I k!$$Ā£d you yesterday and why do you think I’m hvgging you right now?, I know it’s not up to a week since you c@mĀ£ here but how it happened,I just can’t explain, I love you so much” she said
Eleven felt like maybe she’s pranking him but it doesn’t seem like it
He broke the hvg and faced her
He can’t even look her in the eye

“I’ll be back” he said and Immediately rushed upstairs to his room
Diamond swallowed nothing
“Did I throw a fast ball?’ she thought, sitting down again

Eleven stayed behind his door thinking about what he just heard

He proceeded to sit on the be-d and his mind shifted to Kingston
“He’s definitely hiding something, I feel an air of familiarity around him but anytime I try to figure it out, I get confused” he thought

“Skylar travelled to Poland to say hi to her dad” Carson said, sitting in front of Kings

Iris is busy pla-ying games on her phone
“You must really miss her” Kingston said
“I know right?, Her silliness and psycho character” he replied, smiling..
Kingston kept looking over at Iris who seems to be de-ep into her phone
“I can count the number of times you have come to see me in my office since we bec@mĀ£ friends, I think I’m the only one who thinks we’re friends” Carson suddenly said
” No no, you know it’s work…
“You mean I’m jobless?, I don’t have patients at my hospital right now that I’m here?” Carson demanded
” Ok ok, I’m sorry” Kingston replied
Carson’s phone rang, it’s a call for emergency at the hospital
He stood after receiving the call
“I gat to go, see ya around buddy!” He said hurriedly
“Iris, bye!”
*See ya!” Iris waved as he left
Iris concentrated back on her phone
“That game again?” He said
“Are you jealous?” She said, looking up
“My foot, don’t even start” he replied
She stood and walked up to him, she sat on the table in front of him and he has to hold his breath… she’s difficult to resist
“So here I am, phone gone, what do you want to do with me?” She said
He smiled
” I love that smile, if I can get to see that everyday,then I won’t ask for more” she said
“I smile these days” he said
” I know, but I want to ask something….why did you decide not to smile?, Or say sorry?” She asked
” I don’t want to talk about it” he replied, looking away
“Oh that same answer again… and why is Eleven Calling you Novato in the morning?, That’s his lost brother’s name, is it you?” She asked
He tried ha-rd to keep a straight face so he won’t suspect
“I’m not…why would I be?” He said, not looking at her
Iris took his face and made him face her

She drew closer to his ear

The door bur-sted open and the last person he’s expecting to see c@mĀ£ in
Hazel, meeting them in that position
“Who let you in?, No let’s start like this….what are you doing here in my office?” Kingston demanded
Her eyes almost popped out as she saw Iris
“Oh no, who are you” she said unbelievably
Iris got down from the table as the scene last night flew throu-gh her memory
She knows it’s her, she can just feel it that it’s Hazel who sĀ£nt them
“If I don’t have powers, I’d been dead by now” she thought, moving closer to her
” Why are you still…..
“Alive?, Well let’s say it’s because I’m lucky, but for you, your coming here today is unlucky, cos I’ll make you regret what you did to me” Iris replied and closed her eyes
Right there, inside the office, two snakes appeared
“fvĀ¢k, Iris!” Kingston exclaimed, climbing the table
“I can command them to bite you till death” Iris said, controlling her anger as the snakes coiled
“Iris you can’t, she’ll die here and that’ll be dangerous” Kingston said
Hazel is alre-ady peeing in her trou-sers
“I really want to make her regret doing that” Iris said
“I don’t support what she did too but plea-se, just let her get out of here” Kingston said
Iris commanded the snakes with her mind and they vanished just like how they appeared
She looked at Hazel who’s now shaking
She commanded with her mind and Hazel vanished too, to find herself in another person’s be-droom…
Iris sat and Kingston c@mĀ£ behind her
“I’m sorry” he said
“It’s ok” she replied
“But you’re not smiling” he said
She flashed a cute smile …
They later went home and Diamond Cooked alre-ady, they settled down to eat
Iris declined eating noodles today again
She settled for raspberries
Diamond and Eleven kept acting strange, ma-king Kingston suspect but Iris isn’t bothered
“What’s meant to be is meant to be” she thought..

Next morning*****
Just like no one can stĀ©p destiny when it’s time for it to manifest, that’s just the case for Kingston
He woke up to do the morning necessities and forgot to use the pills again
He c@mĀ£ out of his room all dressed for work and met everyone in the dinning table alre-ady
He walked up to them and Immediately he sat down, his bĀ©dy scent (royal scent) filled Eleven’s nose just like it did yesterday
Kingston remembered he didn’t take his pills and quic-kly stood, heading upstairs
Eleven dropped his fork and stood
“You use disguise pills?” Eleven said
He stĀ©pped dead in his tracks,not moving an inch
“You’re Novato aren’t you?” He said
Kingston never said anything
Eleven walked up to stay in front of him
