Kingston faced the man

Danny led the man out, leaving Iris and Kingston in
Kingston closed his eyes, happy at what he just did but when he remembered Iris is there, he opened his eyes and looked her way, she’s busy looking at him questioningly
“What’s the meaning of pie?” She asked
Kingston scratched his head , looking for excuses
“it’s a pet name” he replied
“Pet name?, A name for a pet? ”
*Not directly, it means a name that only you will be calling a person you cherish so much” he replied without realizing
Iris smiled, staying in front of him
” So you cherish me” she said
“Yes” he replied flatly
She blu-shed obviously
“You called me your girlfriend again, it’s the second time” she said
“That’s… Um…. I dunno” he replied
” It’s still better, you’ll soon find out why you got jealous the other time” she said.
” I was never jealous! ” He said defensively
“You were” she replied, grinning
“I wasn’t” he replied, standing up
” calm down and sit Mr Frankie” she said
He found himself sitting down

She c@mÂŁ closer, placed her hands on his shoulder, she leaned in like she wants to k!sshim
He gulped down nothing, staring at thosel-ips as his heart beat bec@mÂŁ ra-pid
“You look cute while arguing” she said and Immediately k!$$ÂŁd his cheek
He blinked severally at that
She left him and went to her sit
He covered his face with a book from the table and smiled cutely
His phone rang
It’s Diamond
“Hey baby sisto!”
“Kingston it’s Diamond, she’s….
“She fainted?, Bleeding from the nose and mouth?” He interrupted
” You know alre-ady? ” Eleven asked surprisingly
“It happens frequently, we should have told you so you won’t be scared” he replied
” What do I do? ‘
“Don’t panic, just take her to her room and l@yher on the be-d, clean the bloodstains too, she’ll wake up within thirty minutes” he said
” Really?, What kind of a sickness is that?” Eleven said
“It doesn’t have a name, just do exactly as I told you, ok?” Kingston said
” Ok, I’m hanging up” Eleven said and hanged up
“Who was that?” Iris asked
“Diamond,” he replied
“She’s bleeding and fainting?, I can help with that, my blood can….
” She’s not human remember?, Your blood is only for humans” Kingston said
” Oh… That’s… True, but when she’s not human, why is it that none of you is willing to say what exactly she is?, And I can’t even get what she is” Iris said
“calm down, you’ll soon know all what you want to know, chill” Kingston replied
” Don’t worry, even before you guys will tell me what she really is, I’d have found out, the fact that she bleeds and faints, I’ll find out” she replied
Kingston sighed
“you’re not talking again?” She said
“I don’t have to argue with you all the time” he replied
” But I said you look cute while arguing” she replied, standing up from her seat again
“I don’t care” he replied
She ru-bbe-d her hand on her eyes and pretended like she wants to start crying
Kingston stood from his seat, rushing to squat in front of her
“Hey you can’t cry, ok I’m sorry” he said
” You did nothing wrong” she replied, her hand still on her eyes
” But still I’m sorry” he replied
She took her hand off her eyes and looked up with that mischievous smile
“I got ya!” She exclaimed, standing up
Kingston stood too
“Prankster” he said
“That’s me’ she replied and climbe-d her chair, from there she jumped on him like a baby
“Iris why are you like this” he said
“I just want to be like this for some reason, ok?” She said, resting her head on his che-st
he wants to continue arguing but he knows it’s useless
“Five minutes” he said
“Ten minutes” she replied
” No” she said, coming down from his arms
” Ok, ten minutes, but you can spend all that on my shoulder” he replied, sitting down
She sat down and placed her head on his shoulder
He smiled and looked at her again, the cutie is slee-ping alre-ady
He stylishly stood up and Carried her in his arms to the inner room in his office
She placed her on the be-d and covered her with the duvet, he k!$$ÂŁd her forehead before leaving

Eleven took Diamond into her room as instructed, he l@yher on her be-d
He got tissues and cleaned the bloodstains
He felt her temperature
She’s not h0t at all, her temperature is normal
*Then what? ” He wondered
He looked round her room and saw a guitar
” That looks like I’ve seen it before” he thought and sighed
Strangely but luckily, he’s not thinking about Iris too much these days
The monk might be really right
She’s really not the one for him cos if she is, there’s no way he’ll be getting over her so quic-k…
He covered Diamond very well and stood to go after about twenty minutes but Diamond hell his hand
“Don’t go… plea-se” she said , still closing her eyes
Eleven looked back at her and sat again, taking her hand and ru-bbing it gently
“Diamond?” He called but she’s not answering
“She must still be asleep, then how did she know I’m going?, Just like Iris” he thought, looking at her
For the first time, he noticed she’s pretty…

“You can call one of the maids to take care of my bruises” Eragon said as he got to his room with Lillie
“No!, They’ll see your b©dy, I’ll just do it” she replied sharply
Eragon chuckled
” You mean you’ll close your eyes while dressing my wounds?” He said
” No….I mean…
Eragon stood and faced her
She faced the floor but he raised up her face
He stared at her for a while
“I have a lot of things to thank you for, ion know where to start from” he said
Lillie smiled as her heart continued somersaulting inside her ribcage.
“You can pay me with this first” she said and stood on her toes, k!ss!nghim lightly
She smiled
“You can take your bath, I’ll come back to dress your bruises” she said and rushed out
She almost fell but held herself
” Gosh” she muttered, l!çk!ng herl-ips before rushing out
Eragon smiled weakly before heading to the bathroom…
He stepped into the tub and as the alre-ady mixed bath t©uçhed his b©dy, he cringed at first but later relaxed, closing his eyes…
Lillie ate with utmost joy in her room, waiting earnestly for time to pas-s by so she can go back to his room
Someone knocked
“Who’s that?” She asked
“Dan” the maid replied
“Come in”
Dan c@mÂŁ in and handed a book to her
“the empress ordered me to give you this” she said before leaving
” What could it be?, A mission?” She thought, opening the rolled book

*Kang Min, a farmer specialized in planting rice, my spies caught him talking bad about me, take Eragon with you and kill him in his house tonight*
Her heart skipped several beats as she stood hurriedly, rushing carefully to Eragon’s room
She entered just at the time Eragon is just coming from the bathroom, we-t with the water with only a bathing p@n-t
She covered her eyes quic-kly and turned her back at him
“I’m so sorry” she said
“Why overreacting?, You’re dressing the wound so you’ll see me like this throu-ghout” he said
She slowly took her hands off her face and Immediately felt a sharp pain in her stomach
“Ah!” She winced, holding it
Eragon rushed to her
” Are you ok?” He asked worriedly
“Oh..yes I’m ok” she replied, straightening up
He looked at her for a while before going to his be-d, he sle-pt with his che-st
Lillie took the wooden kit from the table and sat beside him, applying the treatments one after the other
She’s moved to tears cos the beating he received really almost spoilt his complexion though the treatments will make it even again but it’s still painful
Tears fell from her eyes and fell on his back
He looked up at her
“Crying again? plea-se will you st©p?” He said , wiping them with his thumbs
Lillie found herself smiling, with him she’s just too as-sured
“Oh!, This” she said, handing over the letter to him
He re-ad it and heaved
“I guess we have to start going against the empress tonight” he said
” Are you ok enough to go with me?” She said
“Of course, since we’ll be saving him instead” he replied
She hvgged him on the be-d

“Can’t believe I sle-pt although today” Iris said, yawning during the drive home with Kingston
It’s past seven at night alre-ady
“Sleepyhead” Kingston said
“Whatever” she replied
“So if I feed you again when we get home, will you eat? ” He asked
She nodded
” Cool, that’s more like it” he replied and the car suddenly st©pped
“Why?” Kingston said and tried to start it again but it’s impossible
“fv¢k what’s happening” he said, coming down
Iris c@mÂŁ down too and that’s when they saw it’s the tyre, it’s down completely, deflated
“How did this happen?” Kingston Wondered
Iris felt danger, she looked around and saw just what she’s looking for
Right on her che-st is six danger lights
Kingston saw it almost immediately too but before they can have time to comprehend, the six sh0ts c@mÂŁ right at her che-st all at the same time
Kingston can’t close his mouth as Iris fell down
“Iris!” He shouted , running to her
He bent down beside her, taking her head on his l@ps
“Iris!!!!” He called when he saw her blood rushing out alre-ady
He doesn’t even know when tears started escaping his eyes
“Iris!!” He called again, his tears falling on her face
*Iris plea-se, ” he said again
Iris smiled inwardly before opening her eyes
“Will you st©p crying and let me enjoy my sleep?” She said, sitting up
“Iris….
” Are you dumb?, I said my blood can heal, so you think guns will freak me myself?, I should have sÂŁnt the bullets back to the shooters but I had to pl@ydead so they’ll think I’m dead, when next they see me, they’ll be flabberg@sted” she said
Kingston looked at her again and her blood on the ground has dissappeared
The gunsh0t wounds are gone too
“It’s true” he said, sniffing
Iris smiled and wiped the remaining trace of tears in his face
“I was really scared” he said
“Here I am, I’m fine crybaby” she said
“I’m not a crybaby” he replied, curving hisl-ips
She stood up and giggled
He stood too and they faced each other
“Crybaby” she said
“Don’t call me that again” he replied, moving closer
” Crybaby”
“two” he said
” Crybaby, crybaby, cry….
She isn’t chanced to finish, he pinned her to the car and crashed hisl-ips on hers. ..
