They stayed like that, hvgging each other for minutes till Kingston broke it and faced her, wiping the remaining trace of tears on her face
“I’m sorry for using your toothbrush to.do that” she said and started crying again
” Hey will you stĀ©p crying?, My hands are not tissue” he said jokingly but it never made her laugh
” I’m so sorry, I just thought of a Good revenge and that good for nothing one had to pop up, I’m so sorry” she said, hiccu-ping
” Iris”
” Huh?*
“Look at me plea-se” he said
She looked at him and her heart continued to thump,his heart is not exceptional though
He smiled handsomely
“Huh?, You just…you smiled?, Jinjja?” She said, wiping her tears
” It’s for you, and it worked,see?, You stĀ©pped crying” he said
“Unbelievable” she muttered
” Is it cute?” He asked
” What?”
” My smile” he replied
” The cutest I’ve ever seen, daebak! (Awesome)” she said, giving him thumbs up
He held her hand, helping her stand
“Let’s go home, ok?”
She nodded and he pu-ll-ed her after him by her hand as they walked home…
” Iris!” Diamond exclaimed from the living room as they entered the house
She stood and c@mĀ£ to hvg her
“Why did you leave huh?” She said, holding her hands
“I’m sorry,I just felt like it’s the right thing to do after ….
“Let’s eat dinner” Kingston interrupted
Eleven c@mĀ£ downstairs
“Iris where have you been?” He said
“I went to…I went for a walk” she lied
He looked at her somehow before sighing
“don’t scare us like that again” he said before taking his sit
He has decided to talk less to her, maybe that’ll help, and that’s why he stays in his room most of the time and luckily it’s working…
Iris took her sit in the living room while they ate at the dinning room
She’s eating strawberries and watching TV
Kingston suddenly looked back at her
“Iris”
“Yes?” She replied, facing him
“Come” he said.
“Why?” She asked
“Just come” he said
She stood and dropped the berry with her
She went to meet him at the dinning room, standing beside him
He stood
He pu-ll-ed out a chair and made her sit
Diamond and Eleven stared on with surprise
“You should try our real food don’t you think?, You can’t continue eating fruits you know” Kingston said
” Oh…I..I don’t like food” she said awkwardly
” You’ll like it, it’s noodles this time around so you’ll surely like it” he said, taking his plate of ramyeon and turning his chair to face her
“I’ll feed you” he said
Diamond coughed and almost choked
Eleven had to offer her a cu-p of water which she took and gulped
“Happy feeding” she said, taking her plate of noodles and going upstairs
Eleven heaved and left the dinning too, leaving the two of them
“You’ll…feed me?” She asked surprisingly
“Yeah” he nodded, scooping the noodles into the chopsticks
“It won’t be advisable to use chopsticks while feeding” he thought and dropped the sticks
He picked a fork and decided to use that
He placed it just on herl-ips
“Take it, you’ll like it” he said
She kept looking at him as she opened her mouth slightly
She took the noodles and slowly chewed on it, the taste is Strange anyways but it’s still better than the spicy food Diamond fed her with last time
“You like it?” He asked
“Me?…oh, I…. it’s better” she replied, swallowing it
He smiled again and her heart skipped several beats
He continued feeding her till.she can’t take a fork anymore
Then he got a glas-s water and gave it to her
She drank it in seconds
“Diamond is right, you’re a drinking machine” he said, standing up
His phone beeped
A message from Danny
*Boss, our account has been credited, they just sĀ£nt the money*
He smiled
“Yes!”
“What?” She asked
“Oh…. just some stuffs” he replied, rushing upstairs
He went to Diamond’s room and met her re-ading
“Have a test tomorrow?” He asked tea-singly
“You mean I don’t re-ad if I don’t have a test?, Don’t even joke with me” she replied, rolling eyes at him
” I noticed that when I made her cry, I almost went broke” he said
” You nee-d someone to tell you that if you make her sad or cry, the repercussions Won’t be plea-sant” she replied
” Oh…I should be careful then” he replied, heading out
” And what was that caring face you exhibited downstairs the other time?, Oppa I’ve never seen you behave like that before” she said
” That?,um…let’s just say…I dunno!” He snapped and rushed out
Diamond smiled wi-dely
Her eyes caught her guitar
“Should I really pl@yagain like Cole said?” She asked herself
Iris barged in
” Iris so how was it?, The food?” She asked
“it was superb” she replied, giving thumbs up
” Really!” Diamond exclaimed
She nodded again
” You’re really strange, is it because he fed you?” She asked
” I dunno” Iris replied, seeing the guitar
” This is called what?” She asked
” Guitar, pla-yed it before?” She asked
” No, but I feel like I can pl@yit” Iris replied
“Really?” Diamond said
Iris took guitar and sat, positioning it in her hands correctly
“OMG you positioned it right” Diamond said
“I told you” she replied and started pla-ying it
Diamond’s eyes wi-de-ned
“Whoa!, I was saying I can pla-y,I have a sĀ£nior” she said, marvelled at what she’s hearing
” How was it?” Iris asked after pla-ying
“Superb!” She remarked
” Really?”
” Yes, we can perform on stage together” Diamond said
“I hope so” she replied

Five days later***
“Bring him out” Aurora ordered
It’s Eragon’s re-lease day
He was brou-ght out by the guards and he stood wearily in front of the empress and Lillie who’s sitting beside her mum, feeling immeasurable happiness that he’s out at last
“By now I think you should have learnt your lesson” Aurora said
Eragon bowed
” Very well your highness” he replied
” Good, so from now on since Eleven is not here, you’re Lillie’s new protector, though she’s good at swords fighting and can protect herself, that’s why she didn’t have a protector since she was born…but notwithstanding, I think it’s time she gets one since you’re the second best after her, you make a mistake…I eliminate you” she said sternly
Lillie can’t hide her happiness
” Yes your highness” he replied weakly, hisl-ips all pale and dry
“Go” she ordered
Eragon left her presĀ£nce and Lillie took some time before leaving her side to avoid suspicion
Eragon went straight to the king’s room
“Your highness, how have you been?” He said, sitting on the chair beside his be-d
“Eragon?, Lillie told me everything, you’re out alre-ady?” Jin said
“Yes your highness, I’m out to take care of you just like Eleven asked ” he replied
” Eleven?, Tell me the truth where is he?” He asked
“He went out of Meteor in search of his love” he replied, tears coming out of his eyes alre-ady
“Really?,”
“Yes, but not to worry, he’ll be back, I’ll be the one to take care of you” he replied
” Lillie is doing a great job too, she feeds me and even drinks tea with me everyday, she has changed” Jin said
“I’m glad she did” Eragon replied and almost immediately, he felt hands wra-pped round his shoulders from behind
He nee-ds no one to tell him it’s Lillie
“Lillie…
” I’m glad you’re finally out, you really don’t know how happy I am” she said, crying too
” Thanks for taking care of him”
” It’s what I should do,I was just blind before but now the blindfold is gone” she replied, still holding him
Jin smiled on the be-d
“I’m glad you changed” he said
“And we’ll work together to eliminate mother bit by bit…” she replied with determination
Jin watched with smiles
” Come, let me take care of your wounds” she said, pu-lling him out of the room

“let’s go shopping” Cole bur-sted as he re-ad at the school libr@ry with Diamond and Isla
” Must you always show that you’re a jĀ£rk?” Isla said
Diamond giggled
” Yes, I’m tired of re-ading, let’s go shopping” Cole said, holding Diamond’s hand
Diamond jĀ£rked off his hand
” Not interested, I’ll be on my way home” she said , standing up
“Me too, maybe we can shop next time” Isla replied
Diamond left before them
Cole kept staring at her car till it’s out of sight
“Tell her before it’s too late” Isla said
“What?”
“You know what I’m talking about” Isla replied
Diamond got home and felt weak
” Not now” she thought
She sighted Eleven in the living room and just smiled at him
“Are you ok?” He asked, standing up and walking towards her
“I’m very ok” she lied, taking off her Snickers as she started climbing the stairs
She’s on the seventh stair when she felt that usual dizziness, her eyes closed voluntarily and she almost fell but thanks to Eleven
He bec@mĀ£ shocked when he saw blood coming out of her nose and ears
“Diamond!” He called loudly…

“You really won’t stĀ©p pressing that phone?” Kingston said
Iris looked up from her phone and smiled
Dah charming one
Since he got her the phone three days ago,she has been fascinated by it and won’t stĀ©p fiddling with it even at work and somehow Kingston isn’t comfortable, when she doesn’t have a phone yet, she’s always disturbing him and he seems to like it but now that she has a phone, it’s all different
And about the k!ss, only God knows how he’s coping cos he thinks about nothing but it and he smiles these days, only in front of her though and to himself
“Oh,I was just pla-ying candy crush” she replied
“Come here” he replied
She stood and walked up to him
He stood and carried her like a baby, positioning her on the table but almost immediately, Danny entered with a client
Iris got down immediately
“I’m sorry” Danny said
“It’s ok” he replied, sitting as Iris stood beside him
” He c@mĀ£ to book the casino for Wednesday Evening, five to six, he’ll be the one to bring the gamblers” Danny said
” My returns are?’ he asked
” hvge, We’ll discuss it once I come back with my team tomorrow” the man replied, looking at Iris
Iris smiled as usual
” Hey pretty, who’s she?” He asked
“My bĀ©dyguard” Kingston replied
” Oh, she’s S-xy and beautiful, can I get your number?” He asked, pointing his phone at Iris
” Sure* she replied and took the phone from him
She’s about to start typing the number when Kingston snatched the phone from her, throwing it on the table
“Did you come here for a deal or her number?” He said sternly
” Why?, You just said she’s your bĀ©dyguard and it’s a free world” he replied
Kingston sm-irked before standing
“Oh, will you stay back if I tell you she’s my girlfriend? ” He said seriously
Danny can’t hide his surprise
“Girlfriend?”
“Yes, meet my pie, Iris” he said
