it’s been weeks already and Alexander keep disturbing Mrs. Brown about the one next night stand, she kept giving him excuses, she was trying to make out time and tell her husband but she has many cases to handle and mostly some of them are murder and ra-pe
She didn’t want to think much about the threat instead she put all her mind on the case so that she won’t lose and as always she win in the end
She always goes to work as early as possible but she will sometimes come back in the after to arrange the house and cook, then she will go back to work, it has been tough dealing with so many cases
“Hey,” Her husband said as he went into her office
“You came?”Mrs. Brown said
“You said we have to talk so am here,” he replied and sits down
“Can’t it wait till am back?” She asked
“Nope, always tired after work and always leaving very early in the morning, so you see it can’t wait, so tell me now besides am traveling tomorrow,” he said
“Wait…..what? And you’re just telling me now,” she quickly said
“You’re always busy and tired,” he added
“How long will you stay there?” She asked
“Like some months,” he replied
“Some months, it’s too much, can’t someone else go in your place? she replied
“Baby what’s wrong? You’re acting as if you’re Afraid of something and there is sadness in your eyes, is there something you’re not telling me?” Mr. Brown said
“I guess am overreacting, gosh what’s wrong with me,” she said holding her head

“I mean I waited for a long time before telling you, and you’re not mad?” she replied
“I love you scarlet that’s what matters, and I won’t let anyone take my wife from me, never! don’t worry I will take care of him,” he replied
“So what now?” She asked
“Something fun,” he replied
“Not in my office,” she said Instantly
Mr. Brown started laughing
Not long after he received a phone call and left, Mrs. Brown was still in her office when Alexander called again
“Today is the final day, should I upload the video or book a room,” he asked
“Go to hell,” she replied instantly
“I see you have got some nerves but one thing I will promise you is that I will have you one way or the other,” he said and ended the call
“Shameless fool,” Mrs. Brown said and put her phone aside

He get his computer and uploaded the video but it didn’t go, he tried different websites but they keep telling him the same thing

“Hey cursed boy,” Joy called
Adam didn’t even bother to look her way
“You have to eat or you will die, you haven’t eaten for 7 days now, try and eat something,” she said slowly
“Get out,” he said almost yelling
She flinched
Turns out the king didn’t spare him, he was flogged till he stopped breathing like the king ordered and he was locked up without anyone to treat him
“Cursed boy,” Joy called again
“I said go away, the only person I want to see now is River,” he replied
“He’s dead and never coming back, father said anyone that falls that Clif will not survive cos the Clif is so high and below it is a lot of rock and ocean,” she replied
“Then I want to die,” he replied
“Did you eat people?” She asked

“Cursed boy,” he called
“I have a name and it’s Adam,” he replied
“Father said I can’t call you by your name or I will die, I don’t want to die,” she replied
“What exactly are you doing here? I thought you hate me, why then are you here?” He asked
“I just want to give you food so that you will not die,” she replied
“Go away, I don’t want to receive more punishment than the one I have already received,” he replied
“Why not beg your mother to rescue you? Like she’s your mother and every mother loves their children but your is different,” she said
“She hates me just like everyone else, same as you,” she replied
“Am only doing what father said, he said I shouldn’t go near you that you’re cursed and your mother said you’re a blood-su-cking demon and my mother said you’re a demon too, so you see am scared I don’t want to die” she replied
“Then why are you here now? Are you no longer scared of the cursed boy?” He asked
“I’m but you have to eat that’s why I brou-ght some, don’t thank me and I will be going now” she replied
Adam just stared at her as she left, he rushed to the food and eat it like a hungry tiger, he haven’t eaten in days and he was starving
“She forgets to bring water,” he mumbled
“Hey, cursed boy, here is what……. Where is the food?” She asked looking around
“Just give me the water and go, and don’t come back,” Adam said and snatch the water from her
“I would have pity you small but I don’t want to die, I will go now I might come back later,” she said and left

THE BROWN HOUSE*
SAME DAY*
“What? You said it was tomorrow why now?” Mrs. Brown asked
“Am sorry baby but things didn’t work the way I expected,” Mr. Brown said
He carried his suitcase downstairs and say goodbye to his wife
“Am missing you already, self trip and come back soon,” she said
He went over to her and kis-sed her gentle
“stay away from Alexander if not I will kill somebody and I will be back soon,” He said with a smile
“Bye,” she waved at him
Night* 7:30 PM
He returned with his suitcase, he rang the doorbell and Olivia was the one that opened it
“Daddy,” she called surprised
“What happened?” His wife asked
“They canceled it,” he replied
“But why? What happened?” she replied
“It was responded,” he replied
“Oh, I make dinner go freshen up and come down for dinner,” she said
” where is Karan?” He asked looking around
“In her room,” Eddy said
He walked past them with a dangerous smile, am Alexander McDonald’s, I always get what I want
He went inside and looked around the room, it’s time for plan C, he said and brings out Mr. Brown’s phone
“Both mother and daughter will be pregnant before their father will come back, scarlet in your next life, you will never joke with anyone with the name Alex,” he thought said to himself
He’s currently wearing a custom that has the same status as Mr. Brown and it also has a voice programmer, anything he says will sound like Mr. Brown’s voice, The work of science and technology
His doctor programs it and also works the face mask for him, while the real Brown is away he came to take his place
Meanwhile, Mr. Brown already landed at his destination but couldn’t find his phone, he thought maybe he forgets it at home so he didn’t think much about it
Alexander went into Karan’s room
“Baby can I have your phone,” he said
“Sure Dad,” she replied and gave it to him
He blocked every unknown number and delete her father’s number, she can’t call him he can’t call her
“Here baby,” he said and hand over the phone to her
He went to Mrs. Brown and did the same with her phone same with Olivia and Eddy, he didn’t do it at once to avoid suspiciously and luckily enough for him, they all were in a different room so no one will suspect a thing
BEDROOM*
Mrs. Brown finished bathing and wearing her clothes in the bathroom as if something was talking to her
“Still awake?” She asked when she came out
“Yeah waiting for my beautiful wife,” he replied
“No, don’t wait for me, sleep,” she replied and went over to the dressing table
“How can I sleep when my wife is not sleeping,” he replied and went over to her, he put his hand in her clothes
She slowly remove his hands and stood up
“Not today,” she replied and went to another mirror
“Why?” He asked
“I have a big case tomorrow and I have to wake up early and am tired and need rest,” she replied
“That didn’t stop a thing right? You will get a good rest trust me,” he replied with a hidden sm-irk
She was quiet for a while staring at him, the silence was killing that he started wondering if she has find out
“What’s wrong?” He asked gently
