“Why are you here?” He faintly asked. “How did you know my ap@rtment?”
“I am calling a doctor seon. You are sick and you nee-d treatment” she replied not minding his questions.
“I don’t nee-d any doctor Miss Sullivan. It’s just fever. I have alre-ady taken my medications” he replied sitting upright on his be-d.
“Let me help seon. Let me call in the doctor. You nee-d him. You are burning up for chrissake. And you’ve been down for the past three days. You can’t just shove this out like a mere fever” she frowned at him.
“I am fine okay. I’ll get better soon and resume work in no time. I’m sorry I didn’t tell the management about my predic@m£nt and I…
“That is no problem” Louisa cut in.
“….I know I’ll resume with in this week. Anytime I get better I’ll report back to work” he replied ignoring Louisa’s comment as he got up from the be-d.
“Why are you here? I never told anyone I was sick”
“I uhn…I just huh… I just c@m£ to check on you. You have been abs£nt for days now” she stuttered. b!tt!g her lower l!pin a timid way.
“Check on me? Does it look like a nee-d a babysitter?” He asked nonchalantly walking away from her.
Louisa felt a sting on her che-st. Is he still upset with her?
“No…! You sound like you are upset with me” she stated the obvious.
Seon turned to her” I’m not mad at you. I can’t be mad at my Boss” he replied and turned his back.
“You aren’t upset with me, yet your words tells everything ” she blurted out.
“My actions shows nothing Miss Sullivan. It’s just the way you interpret it. You wanted space, away from me. That’s what I’m doing.
I feel like a bone in your throat. I don’t wanna choke you.
If Love’s a Crime, then I am hundred percent guilty. It hurts like hell to see the way you behave towards me. You detest me, you shout at me, you don’t appreciate my efforts, you tend to push me away at any slight opportunity. For the love of Pete Louisa I’ve got feelings.
What’ have I done?
Falling for you was never my plan. It just happened so fast.
Despite the fact that I hate it when you avoid me, shout and me and worse… push me away, I still don’t want to see you get angry,upset or sad.

He finally turned his gaze to Louisa with sobered eyes and continued.
“I’ll just go away…..I’ll disappear out of your life. Since that will make you feel better.”
“No…no no you don’t have to do that!” Louisa rushed out. She’s t©uçhed by his words. She knows she has been bossy really lately. But letting seon go?
Why does it sound like a bad idea? It doesn’t go well with her. She wasn’t herself these past three days for not seeing Seon. Imagine if he finally disappears for good😳.
“I am sorry if I ever hurt you, pushed you away, you don’t have to go…the company nee-ds you seon…..” She pleaded.
She doubted within. She nee-ds him too. Not just the company.
“The company? ” He scoffed out.
“I nee-d you”…she said almost in a whisper.
Seon arched at her last statement 😳.
“I know it sounds sappy. But it’s true. I never realized until these past few days. I haven’t Been myself without seeing you a day.
I can’t get you off my mind. I really don’t know why. No matter how ha-rd I try.
I haven’t felt this way before. No man has ever occu-pied my thoughts like you. And it really gets me upset.
That’s why I try so ha-rd to push you away. still it’ doesn’t change a thing.
And you gone for three days? $h!t!! I just couldn’t take it. That’s why I am here.
plea-se don’t go away. I beg you” she pleaded as seon stared at her in surprise.
He stared too long ma-king Louisa feel uncomfortable. He just doesn’t know if Louisa is the one saying all these.
“Say something plea-se” Louisa fli-pped her hands in the air.
Seon smiled.”I am speechless. I never expected those words from you. I just hope this isn’t one of my daydreams” he stated.
Louisa walked swiftly towards him and pinched him on his cheek.
“Ouch. Was that necessary?” He asked flin-ching a little.
“To make sure you are not dreaming” she blu-shed out
“Well it shows I ain’t ” he smiled. Taking Louisa’s hand into his as he ca-ressed them.
Louisa’s heart fluttered.
“I am not leaving new York City. ”
” You never wanted to leave?”
“Nope. Just wanted to see how you’d react to my outbur-st. And it’s now Crystal clear that my feelings for you aren’t in vain” he soothed her soft straight hair. Causing Louisa to blus-h ha-rd ☺️.
He stared keenly at her.
“You’ve got cute dimples Miss Sullivan” he remarked.
“Yeah I do. No one ever noticed except my parents” she stated with a wi-de grin.
“That’s because you don’t smile often. So people don’t get to see it at all. And it makes you more beautiful” he complimented. Causing her to blus-h again at the crudeness of his words.
“Thanks for the compliment and plea-se quit calling me Miss Sullivan. I prefer Louisa from you.” She cli-pped.
“No problem Madame” he drawled ma-king Louisa giggle..
“So what next?” He asked still holding her hands into his.
“Next thing is to see a doctor. You are still sick.” She demanded.
“Not again… like I said, it’s just fever.” He blurted out.
“Just fever? plea-se seon let me help you! Do it for me plea-se” she pouted.

As the weeks pas-sed by, seon and Louisa spent most of their time together.
Their mutual relationsh!pwasn’t hidden either at the work place. It marveled most of the employees as they wondered how seon was able to make friends with the Boss lady.
No one has ever seen Louisa laugh. Until seon c@m£. Louisa was now fond of laughing with seon, seon alone.
The jolly mood of Louisa turned everyone on. The fact that Louisa told seon that she’s happy around him and he’s always in her thoughts didn’t change his mindset.
He only wants one thing! He wanna hear those longing words from herl-ips. Those three breathe taking words ‘I Love You’.
Louisa is yet to say it and it bothers him Alot.
He’s gonna get those words out from her veryl-ips one of these days. He thought within himself.
He knows it’s never gonna be easy knowing the type of person Louisa is, Expecting such big words from someone who doesn’t know it’s meaning is gonna be difficult.
But he won’t give up yet. Not yet!
He’ll surely get what he wants.

On a usual day at work, seon found his way into Louisa’s office.
“Can I come in?” He asked closing the door behind him.
“You are alre-ady in seon.” She replied, eyes glued to her l@pt©p.
He smiled at that and walked closer to her desk.
“What’s up with your l@pt©p that got you so engrossed in it?” He asked noticing how straight her face was.
Louisa still kept her eyes glued to it as a slight frown stretched on her face.
“That’s it. ” He straightened, turning her face to his. “what’s the problem?” He asked.
Louisa sighed.” It’s just these fv¢king people who finds it damn ha-rd to mind their mother fv¢king business” she gr-unted.
“Okay tell me what they did this time around” he asked rather calmly.
“Take a look at this…it’s everywhere on Net! ” She ranted handing the l@pt©p to him.
Seon took it from her and glanced throu-gh it.
“Hmm. It’s funny” he commented.
“There’s nothing funny there” she twirled her eyes.
“It is!. It’s absolutely funny to see what people think of us.
Here, this one says….’ is it true the fiery Boss lady is ma-king out with her worker?’. …. another one says. ‘ Louisa Sullivan is creeping me out.
Who’s gonna fall for a freak like her?’ ” seon mused out their comments on Net.
Ouch! The last comment stings. He thought within himself. He knows Louisa is alre-ady at the edge of explosion. Their comments has really gotten to her.
“You know what? Let’s just forget about this” he blurted out. Sli-pping the l@pt©p flat.
“It is people. And that’s the way they behave. You can’t let that get to you. At least you’ve heard Alot worse than this”
“I know seon. I’d give anything to shut their hell hole” she stated Matter of factly!
“It’s okay. All Same, I c@m£ here for a purpose” he stated.
“What purpose?” She asked in puzzlement.
“Well I thought you’d be free after today’s work and I wanted to treat you out for dinner” he announced to her.
She glared at him for a while before fixing out her words. ” Some other time Seon. I think I’d be busy and tired too”
“It’s not a request Louisa. I alre-ady fixed a d@t£ for both of us and you’re gonna comply.
I’ll come pick you up once we close for today”
He said standing up to leave
” No. I nee-d to drop by my house to get something. You can come pick up there since I have no choice” she scoffed out as he closed the door behind.

“It’s really nice Louisa, A d@t£ with Seon Nichols. It’s a good thing. Since you’ve never had a d@t£ since forever” Bayley remarked.
She has decided to cli-ck to the idea that Seon isn’t for her. So she’s okay with the idea of Louisa and Seon.
“He’s gonna come pick me up later today” Louisa smiled, swirling round the chair.
“That’s ro-mantic…” Bayley added staring at her friend as she felt super excited about the d@t£.
“Can’t remember the last time you smiled this way. Tell me what’s up”
” Nothing’s up Bay. I just feel excited”
“You feel excited about a d@t£. With a guy?. This is getting funny.
I thought you never liked them”
“Them’ Exactly! …….. Seon isn’t ‘them’ …he’s ….. he’s different” she smiled.
“Sounds odd coming out from you. If my guess is correct, I think you like this ‘seon guy’ ” Bayley Blurted out.
“Or wait. Like is even an un-derstatement, …… You love him don’t you? I think you are in love with him” she added.
“Inlove? Seon? Love? That’s Absurd! I am not in love with anyone” she frowned as Bayley’s as-sumption.
“Even though I have never had a real d@t£ Louisa. You still can’t deceive me. I know love when I see one”
“I am not in love with him!!! He’s just a ……. friend. Don’t you think love is an overstatement? I really can’t believe you’d say such”
Louisa bluntly remarked spitefully ma-king Bay look stupified.
“Well, I hope you are telling yourself the truth. I just pray you don’t realize it a little too late”
Bayley scoffed out in doubt
