It’s been three days already and Adel won’t stop looking for Ashley, it’s as if Ashley disappeared cos she has searched every corner of San Francisco but they haven’t seen her
She hasn’t talked to her mother either, and though Margaret is trying to get her to talk to Catherine she refused, even seeing her is a problem
She was in her office working as usual when her sister Dora came in
“Hey, Sister,” Dora called cheerfully
“It’s Adel,” she corrected
“My bad,” Dora muttered
Adel kept quiet without even sparing her a glance
“Mom is sick that’s why am here,” Dora said gently
Adel ignore her
“Adel please she’s our mom, did you want her to die? She already apologize why did you have a stone heart?” Dora asked, her eye clouded with tears
Adel stood up and took her car keys
“Are we going to the hospital? Well she hates hospitals so she’s at home,” Dora said happily
Adel ignore her and left, Dora turned around sadly to see Margaret by the door
“Why is she finding it ha-rd to forgive mom? Mom already said sorry countless times, she’s burning with fever and her temperature is very high,” Dora muttered with tears
“Hey, don’t cry… Beautiful girls don’t cry, okay?” Margaret said, she cu-p-ped her cheeks before cleaning the tears in her eyes
“I don’t want mom to be sick, I want her to be fine just like before,” Dora mumbled
“She’s gonna be just fine, okay?” Margaret said and she nodded
She wipe her tears and made her way outside not without putting back her mask

OMEGA STUDIO*
Adel went to the studios immediately after she left A. B. C it’s not like she has a shoot but she just doesn’t want to talk about her mom
“So you’re to be like this ?” Kate asked
“What if she dies?” Becca added
They sat in an open space
“Please… Just please, I don’t want to talk about her,” Adel said, her head bent
“You’re being……”
“What about Simon, are you still dating him I mean fuc-king him?” Adel cut in
Kate glared at her
“Huh” Becca raise her brow
“No, I told his father about the whole thing and he blamed me for doing it in the first place, and I know it was my fault like I fuc-ked my half-cousin, even though we are not related by blood in any way but he’s still my half cousin, his father was mad but he un-derstands why I did it so he sent Simon to military school in Iraq, ” Kate replied gently
“What about Tommy or Tom which one ?” Adel asked
“All of the above, I just wanna be me… I need space to enjoy my freedom without Simon, you don’t know what it’s like fuc-king your cousin, that guy was obsessed with my p***y, not me, gosh! I was nearly dead… It’s heartache,” Kate said, her hand on her che-st

Adel was still saying when Kate covered her mouth with her palms, making her burst out laughing
“Am very careful now, nothing will ever lead me to Simon again or anything like one, I couldn’t sleep.. fuc-king my cousin was like h*ll, my subconscious mind was beating the crap of out me, and it nearly drove me crazy so I had to take a step forward and end it,” Kate explain and Adel nodded
Becca was short of words, all this while she has no idea that Kate was fuc-king her brother Simon
“You what’s wrong with you?” Kate asked staring at Adel who was still laughing
“What’s wrong with me?” Adel raises a brow
“You’ve added a little, like some fat,” Kate said and Becca nodded
“I was about to say that, did you start eating cake? sweet drinks, or heavy food…..”
“I’m not fat and I have not added, am still me, ” Adel cut in
“You need a doctor, it’s been weeks since you came back and you’re not the same, we are in the same agency I can tell,” Becca said
She grabs her purse
“It was nice talking to you guys, I should be on my way now,” Adel said, she made to stand but Becca hold her hand and pulled her back on the chair
“Stay a little longer…. pretty please,” Becca said and pouted
“You didn’t add, am the one that add, happy now?” Kate added
She was about to reply when Melody walked up to them
“Hi, everyone,” Melody waved at them with a smile
“Melody, it’s been a while,” Becca said and offered a handshake
Melody was also Becca’s friend but Melody has a huge problem minding people’s business that’s why Becca distance herself
“Can I seat?” Melody asked and Becca nodded
Adel and Kate stood up immediately, just when they were about to go to the door
Jeremy, Jordan, and Roco came in
Turns out Adel sent a ma-ssage to Jeremy, Telling him to come to pick her up at the studio
Jeremy walked over to Adel with a huge smile
“Pumpkin, come here,” he said and she hug-ged him ti-ghtly
After a moment, she disengaged from the hug and Jeremy leaned over and kis-sed her lightly, he smiles after breaking the kis-s and she frowns
“Oh no, don’t gimme that face,” Jeremy said and kis-ses her again
He de-eperens the kis-s, his hand around her wai-st and her hand around his ne-ck, he kept devouring her li-ps until she broke the kis-s to catch her breath
“Happy now?” Jeremy asked and she nodded beaming with smiles
“Yeah,” she replied and he kis-sed her head
“I love you too much,” he said and hug-ged her again
Jordan went to Becca who was watching them with a smile
“Hey, am Jordan and I’m a big fan of yours,” he said seductively and she blus-hed
“Becca,” She replied and offered a handshake
“Care for a ride?” He asked and she nodded
“We are all going to A.B.C so yeah,” she replied and took her lower li-ps in
“I love silly girls,” Jordan said and winked at her
Meanwhile, Roco was with Kate as they gist and laugh as if they have known each other for long
“Guys let’s call it a day,” Jeremy said and they left
Leaving melody behind
“Guys what about me?” Melody shouted
“Go fuc-k yourself,” Adel replied and they all laughed
Did they just leave me behind? Like they left without me? Why will they do that? Melody asked herself and frowned

PINKYWHITE MANSION*
Catherine was burning with fever, and though they have given her medication to calm down, her temperature was still high
“Catherine,” Mr. Benson called immediately after he came into the room
She hates hospitals so the doctor comes to her house to treat her instead, a male Doctor was checking her when he came in
“What are you doing?” Mr. Benson asked the doctor
“Checking the heartbeat sir,” the doctor replied
“Get out,”
“Sir…”
“I said out,” Mr. Benson cut in and he left without a second word
Mr. Benson brings out his phone and dialed a number and the person picked up immediately
“I need a female doctor down here now,” He said, more like an order
“Sir all the female doctors are…”
“Get a female doctor down here or you will lose your license,” he threatened
“On it sir, sorry for the inconvenience,” the other person said and he ended the call
“Catherine,” he called gently and sat beside her since the bed was a queen size bed
“Did you have to send the doctor away? He was doing his job,” Catherine muttered slowly
“Am also a doctor, have you forgotten that I once went to medical school, I will treat you like an expert,” he said and she chuckled softly
“Jealousy….”
“I’m not jealous, I’m just protecting my property from unwanted criminals,” he replied and she laughed
He took his hand to her mask and pulled it off, she blinked twice, and he took his hand to her li-ps and caress it gently
“Benson am sick,” she reminded him
Mr. Benson chuckled
“I know,” He replied grinning
“Where is my baby? Is she coming to see me? Has she forgiven me?” She asked
“She’s finding it ha-rd to do but don’t worry, she will forgive you, okay?” Mr. Benson replied
“Am sorry for not being the best wife and a good mother, Pablo your cousin would have killed you both,” She said tears gathered in her eyes
“What?… Pablo?” Mr. Benson asked stunned
“Yes, he wanted me to work with him at first but I declined it, I love you so much, Benson… I couldn’t cheat on you so he said you’re too small to have a beautiful wife and that it should be him who would be the heir not you,”
“I asked why then he said cos he’s older than you, I told him that I was gonna tell you and he laughed at me, he said you won’t believe me, and truly when I try to tell you, you shut me up, you said your brother will never harm you, you didn’t even give me a chance to explain everything, he laughed at me and told me that he was going to kill you if I didn’t leave, he said since I don’t know the code to the treasure room that he will put another person in your life so that the person will find the code, I refused but he heads a sniper put a gun at your head and my baby’s head… He knows that I love you too much and I can’t let you die so he asked me to leave so that another person will give him what he wants,” Catherine explain and Mr. Benson was beyond shock
“This is all my fault, I trusted him, baby I’m so sorry! I should have listened to you, I trust my brother over my wife thinking you were trying to break us apart, will you ever forgive me?” Mr. Benson asked staring at his wife
“Have forgiven you a very long time ago,” she replied gently
“Pablo… Pablo was the one who brou-ght Ruth to me saying she was good, he has been coming closer to me after you left so he had a mission? He’s not even related to my family cos my father said his brother peter married Pablo’s mother and she already heard Pablo, he was two years old when they married his mother now how is he related to me?” Mr. Benson said sadly
“It’s okay, you need to find my baby before he does, “She added and he stood up
Just then a female doctor knocked from outside, Mr. Benson went over and ushered her in
He went over and pec-ked her on the li-ps before going out
“Benson be careful, he’s very dangerous,” she said and he walked out

Eden went to A.B.C but was stopped by the guards who won’t let him in, no matter what he says
“Hey, what are you doing here?” Margaret asked from behind
She’s just coming back from another company where she went to get a deal signed
“Hey, thank you for coming now, I have been out here for hours and they won’t let me in,” he said
“Are you sure that you’re in the right company? Cos you and I Know that you hate….”
“I just wanna see the pretty lady, Okay?” Eden cut in
Margaret stared at him for a while before leading the way
“Let him pa-ss,” she said and the guards allowed him
“What is he doing here?” Adel asked immediately after they came in
“He said he wanted to see you,” Margaret replied and dropped the file she was carrying on the desk
Adel looked at him with a straight face
“I just want to say that am sorry for being harsh, I didn’t know that you were the one that saved my life, the truth is that I hate all rich people,” Eden said
“That’s why you’re poor, hating innocent people that did nothing to you,” Adel scoffed
“Am sorry,?” Eden said gently
One would mistake him for a gentleman with the way he was acting
“Be humble,” Adel said and turn to Margaret
“The results?” Adel ask and Margaret tou-ched her head
“Gosh, I forget it at home, I will go get it,” Margaret replied and left
“Have you forgiven me?” Eden asked to be sure
“be humble, that’s all I can say,” she replied and face her work
He nodded
“Thank you,” he said and left
Outside Margaret met Bruce who was coming into the company
“Margaret, it’s been a while, have been looking for you,” he said worriedly and she sighed
“Have been busy with work,” she replied and get into her car
He was holding the car door
“What about my sister?” Bruce asked gently
“She has been pretty down, the only thing she is good at saying is cancel… Like she’s canceling every deal even the one that will affect her so I have to get it signed,” Margaret replied
“Oh, where are you going? Should I tag along?” He asked and she nodded
He gets into her car and she Zooms off, it wasn’t long before they get to her place
“You leave her alone, I should move in with you,” Bruce teased her
“Nope, I love leaving alone,” she replied and he smiles
She walked over to the table and get the results then she turned to live
“So soon?” He asked with a raised eyebrow
“Yeah, have gotten what I came for,” she replied and he went close
“How about we do something nice, just a little,” Bruce said standing in front of her
“I have got to work,” she replied and made to shift back but he hold her wai-st
“Work can wait,” he replied and kis-sed her gentle
She reciprocates immediately as they slowly move to the couch, he de-eperens the kis-s while using his hand to unbu-tton her shirt
She was wearing a long sleeve, he finished unbu-ttoning her shirt and took his hand to her bo-obs squeezing it gently
“Ouch,” she moa-ned into his mouth
He grinned and unho-ok her bra*, suddenly the image started coming into her head, tears started streaming down her cheeks and she pushed him away
Bruce was surprised, like what the h*ll, why is she crying?
She holds her head ti-ghtly as the images clouds her head
“Margaret are you….”
“Go, please,” she cut in
“Margaret…..”
“Please just go, I will be fine, just go,” she cut in, her eyes closed ti-ghtly
“I’m sorry,” Bruce said gently and went to the door
He brings out his phone and called Adel and it wasn’t long before she arrived
“What happened?” Adel asked worriedly
One could hear the panic in her voice
“I dunno,” he replied gently as Adel went to Margaret who was still holding her head
Getting to her she hug-ged Margaret ti-ghtly
“Maggi, it’s okay,” Adel said gently
“Make it stop, he’s in my head, tell him to leave me alone,” she mumbled still sobbing
“It’s Okay, I got you,” Adel said, and Margaret only Cried

A. B. C
Mr. Benson was searching his office looking for a key but he didn’t see it, he scattered the whole place but still didn’t see anything
“Hello brother,” someone said by the door
He looked up to see Pablo standing there
“Looking for this?” Pablo said and showered him a gold keg, the only key to the treasure room
His jaw drop
“I guess you know what that means,” Pablo said sm-irking
