SAME NIGHT*
The cops have already surrendered the crime scene, reporters were everywhere taking pictures and it was going live too
Margaret on the other hand tried going to bed countless times but she couldn’t so she decided to watch some movies
Turning on the TV the news came up, it was said that the car burnt down and nothing was left, even the bone burnt down except for a diamond bracelet
The bracelet will be in police custody until the relative of the victim comes to claim it, she paused the TV and went closer, the bracelet looks familiar
It can’t be, I need to confirm first,” she said and went to her room
She gets another bracelet that has Adel’s name on it and half part of a heart and the one on the TV has her name on it and also half shape of a heart
She took it closer and it was a match with Bff forever written at the top, she runs out of the house not Minding that it was already 2:00 am
She went to Adel’s house and everywhere was scattered
“No….no….no,” fear gripped her immediately as she went back to her car and drive to the crime scene
“Where is she? Tell me she’s alive,” she shouted going over to the burnt car but the cops stopped her
Mr. Benson arrived immediately cos he also saw the bracelet in the news, Margaret bought that bracelet on her fifth birthday when her mom left
Adel was so heartbroken and Margaret tried everything possible to make her happy that’s how she come up with that bracelet and it works, she forgets everything about her mom and they became BFF
“Where is my daughter?” Mr. Benson asked going over to the car
Their faces already appeared on the news and Kate and Becca came, Margaret broke free from the person holding her and run Into the crime scene but a cop hold her before she could get to the car
“Ma, you need to calm down,” the cops said
“No, I want to see her” she yelled with tears
“She’s gone, everything burnt down including the bone, will gather her ashes and bring them to your doorstep, am sorry for your lose,” the cops said and Mr. Benson fainted
“She’s… She’s gonna have a baby, I was gonna be a godmother, I already painted a nursery, I already bought clothes, I bought… I bought…” She wasn’t able to finish the last sentence and lost consciousness
“Take them to the ambulance now!!” A cop shouted
Kate and Becca couldn’t stop crying as they carried Mr. Benson and Margaret away

HOSPITAL*
Mr. bush rushed into the hospital immediately after they heard the news about their son
“Doctor, how is he? We need to see him,” Mr. Bush said
“This way sir,” the doctor said and lead the way
They get into the VVIP Ward and Jordan was laying unconscious with a life supporter
“All thanks to the ladies that brou-ght him here if not for them he would have been dead, whoever did this was planning to kill him,” the doctor said and Mrs bush only cried
“When will he wake up?” Mr. Bush asked
“Maybe months or more, his system has been paralyzed and it will take him a lot of time to come back together unless he’s a fighter, we will use medicine to keep him stable but right now he’s in a coma and he will be there for a while” the doctor replied and Mr. Bush nodded and hug-ged his wife who won’t stop crying
“And his wife? Is she here also?” Mr. Bush asked
“No, I thought one of the ladies that brou-ght him here is his wife, I haven’t seen anyone that Clam to be his wife,” the doctor replied and Mr. Bush nodded
“Alright, thank you,” Mr. Bush said and the doctor nodded and left

AMBER AND CO*
“Cheers to us, mission accomplished,” Ashley said and raised her gla-ss up
“Cheers,” Amber said and also raise her gla-ss of wine up
“Cheers,” Steve added as they laughed
“You’re the best Steve, just one day from prison and she’s down, you really know how to get her,” Ashley said and he laughed
“They didn’t call me Steve for nothing,” he replied sm-irking
“The box, where can we get it?” Amber asked and Steve nodded
“I will get it, you’ve got nothing to worry about,” he replied and they laughed
“Adel, finally I will no longer hear that name everywhere, Adel this… Adel that,” she said and hissed

COUNTRYSIDE*
A girl has dropped on the small bed gently the tears in her eyes refuse to dry, and her heartbeat already stopped
She has a weak pulse and might die anytime soon, the guy runs to the local physician’s house painting
“Jeremy, why are you here? Is your sister sick,” the lady seems to be in her 50ths asked seeing the way he was shaking
“You need to help me, please, she’s dying,” he said immediately with fear written all over his face
The physician took her bag of medicine and followed him out immediately without a second thought
They went over to Jeremy’s small house and his siblings were looking at the lifeless lady, who was covered in blood, Sasha was already crying
The physician went over and check her pulse then she turned to Jeremy
“Am sorry,” she said and shook her head
“No, you’re not, do something just anything,” he said and the woman shook her head
“My medicine is only for sick people, her pulse is weak and I think she’s gone,” the local physician said
“Just do anything you haven’t even tou-ched her first, just try please, she’s gonna have a baby,” he pleaded
The local physician shook her head again
“She needs to go to the city hospital,” the local physician said and turned to live
Jeremy falls to her feet with tears
“Please help me, I will die if she dies, please I love her so much, you said I remind you of your son Right? Now help my lady, I can’t leave a day without seeing her… She has become part of my life and I love her more than I love myself, she’s above everything in this world to me and she’s having a baby too, please help me, you’re my only hope don’t turn me down,” he said with tears and the local physician stared at him for a while then sighed softly before going over to Adel
“She won’t stop crying,” Sasha mumbled
“What happened? Did you do this to her?” The local physician asked and start bringing out her medicine
“I will never hit a woman, a monster did” he replied instantly
“Whoever did this isn’t human, she’s strong I can say and she’s a fighter to still be fighting for her life even at the point of death,” the local physician said and Jeremy nodded
“Make her stop crying, she use to say beautiful girls don’t cry, but now she’s crying,” Sasha said also crying
“Have never seen anything like this before,” the local physician replied and shook her head
“I will find him and make him pay twice,” Jeremy muttered
“With this your broken Romeo? They will kill you, don’t mess with rich guys, at least you have her now so keep her to yourself,” Eden said
“Will she be alright?” Sasha asked gently with her tiny little voice
“I dunno, but I will give her medicine to heal her wounds,” the local physician replied and made to take off her clothes
It was Jeremy’s clothes though
“Can you two wait outside,” she said to Jeremy and Eden
Before Eden could say a single word Jeremy dragged him outside
A few moments later
The local physician stepped out of the house to see Jeremy pacing around, immediately he saw her coming out of the house he rushed toward her
“Tell me something, anything,” he said staring at her
“She’s fine but….”
“But, is she dead?” He asked as tears were fighting their way out of his eyes
“No, the baby is gone, am sorry,” the local physician said and Jeremy moved back a little
“No you don’t have to be sorry, it has got to be there somewhere just find it,” he said, he didn’t want to believe it
“It’s gone Jeremy, you will have to make another one, she hasn’t stopped crying once she wakes up and heard the bad news be ready to make another baby cos that’s the only thing that will calm her down,” the woman said sadly
“Are you sure that it’s gone? Did you check very well, did you…..”
“It’s gone Jeremy, accept it,” the woman added
It hurts him like hell, even though he didn’t know that the baby was his own, he still cares and wants it to be alive
Jeremy went into the house with weak legs, she was still laying lifelessly with unstoppable tears in her eyes
“She won’t stop crying,” Sasha said also crying
“Sorry I was late, I could have helped as I promised but I was scared, am such a coward, will you ever forgive me?” he said and bent over then stro-ked her hair gently

FLASHBACKS*
Jeremy was riding home on his bike when he felt his heart beat increa-sed, he stopped by the roadside and hold his che-st
It was beating so fast
“Adel!” He called and reverse going to her mansion
She’s the only person to that came into her mind, getting to her place the big giant gate opened, and a car speed out from the house and he followed
He drove past the car and waited for it at the end of the road, till the person in the car stopped and bought some fuel at a petroleum station and left, Steve took off till he get to the deserted area and stopped
Jeremy rode past him and stopped at the front, since the road was silent he gently carried his bike into the woods and went back to Steve
He hid behind the bushes and watch everything he was doing, he watch till Steve tou-ched her bo-obs and s**k on it
He nearly jumped out from his hiding place and lunch at him
“Jeremy calm down… Calm down,” he said to himself, his head going high
How dare Steve touch her that way?
“Jeremy you don’t have a gun but he might have one so Clam down,” his subconscious mind said and he swallowed nothing
He was still staring when the car caught fire, his eyes widening and nearly popping out from the socket
He tiptoe throu-ghthe bushes and gently open the door from the left side, he pulled her out gently not daring to make a sound
He was just three steps away from the car when it exploded and the flame from it throws them far away
She was about Fall from him but he holds her ti-ghtly and covered her with his hands then his head landed on the tree nearby
He took to his heels until he got to the place he packed his bike, he removed his clothes showing his killer abs, and made her wear them since she wasn’t wearing anything
The clothes stopped at her knees and they hardly covered her a** then he managed to climb his bike with her and head home

6 MONTHS LATER*
Jordan has been in a coma and his parents won’t stop checking on him, he wasn’t able to attend Adel’s funeral cos he was still in a sick bed
They came for a small gathering on Adels behind, Me Benson had a heartache but he still managed to attend, immediately his eyes landed on his daughter’s grave he fainted
” call an ambulance,” someone yelled from the crowd
Ashley, Amber, and Steve were present
“Are happy now?” Margaret asked immediately after she get to them
“What are talking about lady?” Steve asked sm-irking
“What did she ever do to you? Is loving you a crime?” She yelled and people turn to them
“Margaret you’re creating a scene here,” Kate said pulling her away
“Let go of me, he killed her… I want to know why he was so bent on killing her, tell me why? Just why?” She yelled tears streaming down her eyes
“That’s enough Margaret…..”
“No it’s not, she was gonna have a baby, she is innocent, her only crime was loving him, so tell me are happy now?” Margaret shouted
She was going crazy, the thought of losing Adel was too much for everyone but her own was worst, she never dream that this day will come soon
“I dunno what you’re talking about lady,” Steve said and turned to live
“Watch your back cos am coming for you, all of you,” she said pointing at Ashley, Amber, and Steve who smi-rked at her
“You’re crazy,” he mumbled and left
“Margaret you need to un-derstand that it was an accident….”
“Nothing is an accident, he killed her I Know it, he said he was gonna kill her and now he has fulfilled it, I just want to know why? Why her? She used to love him more than anyone else, why did he do it? She did nothing wrong but to love him, so tell me if love is a Crime?” She said and they shook their head
“Everything is gonna be alright,” Becca said gently
She went after Steve but just then Bruce blocked her way
“Take it easy, if you want to avenge her then it shouldn’t be like this,” He said calmly though he was also affect
“I love her so much, why her? She did nothing wrong,” She said and he hug-ged her ti-ghtly
“We all do, just take it easy,” he replied

COUNTRYSIDE*
“I can’t believe she’s still crying,” Sasha said as she use a towel to clean her body since she can’t bath her
“I don’t want to talk about that, am Going to work,” Jeremy said from outside
“Jeremy can you help me here please, I need to get another…” Jeremy went into the room
“Make it quick, I don’t wanna be fired,” he cut in and she went out
Eden already left for work
He went in and sat beside her then he took the towel and cleaned the tears that were still falling from her eyes
“Are you going to continue crying like this? You have been crying for six months and it broke my heart, please stop crying,” he said as he cleans the tears but another one was already there
“My heart hurts to see you like this, please wake up soon, I can’t wait to tell you how much I love you, if only you will let me be your hero I will make that bastard pay double,” he added and kis-sed her gently, just then Sasha came in
“Go away,” Sasha said and hold his ear then pulled out outside like a mother
“Sasha live my ear now! You have grown huh?” Jeremy asked and frown
“Don’t be a pervert, I told you to look after her not kis-s her,” she said and pouted
“I was only….”
“That’s taking advantage of someone, just go,” she cut in
She is so protective of Adel like a mother hen
“Where are my,” they both heard and exchanged glances
“Did you hear that?” They both asked at the same time
“What happened?” That same voice repeated and…….
