EPISODE 38
©Sir Zach

In a pristine mansion at the other side of town, Hillary was seated in her living room, her legs crossed as she swirled the glas-s of wine between her f!ngers. Two burly men stood before her, waiting patiently for whatever might come out of her mouth.

“Have you found him?” She asked softly, as she looked at the red wine with some sort of fascination lingering in her eyes.

“No ma” one of the men replied lowering his head, too afraid to look at her, most especially now that he was bearing bad news.

“What do you mean by you haven’t found him?” Hillary asked in a calm voice, as she continued swirling her wine.

“The chairman have hidden him well. We checked every possible place the chairman must have hidden him, but we still can’t find him” The other man replied.

“how useless” Hillary cussed, slowly raising the glas-s to herl-ips.

“What about his family? Found them yet?” She asked, still as calm as ever.

“No boss” They both answered simultaneously.

“You should put your eyes and ears to the ground. William and his family has to be somewhere. They didn’t just dissappear into thin air. Someone is feeding them, clothing them. So go look for that person, because it’s definitely not my father in law. He has someone doing the Job, so do yours by looking for him” She ordered slightly raising her voice.

“Yes ma.”

“I wonder how long you can keep this up old man Beau.” She sm-irked.

“I really don’t want to kill him now. Having someone to chase with is somewhat fun don’t you think?” She lifted her eyes to her manager, Shirley.

“You should keep the drink down, Hillary. You still have a interview after now” Shirley adviced, reaching to take the glas-s from her.

“..that’s boring” She said leaning back on the chair with her eyes closed and heaved a de-ep breath.

“I want a movie. Find me a movie. Something that would break the box office. I don’t care who I have to snatch it from. But it mustn’t be a villain role.” She opened her eyes and gazed at the ceiling.

“I’m tired of being a villain. I mean I know it suits me well, but I want something else”

“Hillary, it’s this still about what Jake said. You really shouldn’t mind him and focus on your TV shows” Shirley said cautiously. She knew she had to be careful with her words else…

“You think I can’t do it too. That I’m getting too old?” Her eyes held a cold glint, ma-king Shirley shiver in fright.

“Never. You know I don’t mean it that way.”

“I know” Hillary said flashing Shirley her signature smile.

“So what do I do about that Director?” Hillary silently looked into space, contemplating on her response.

“I don’t know…Just let him go. I got better things to put my mind to”

“Okay then” Shirley replied leaving Hillary alone to her thoughts.

It seems this father in-law is really pushing her. And she wouldn’t mind to push back, it’s a pity he might just fall to his death.

But what to do? Humans are meant to die, it’s only a matter of when and why.
How pathetic.

At the un-derground car park of Xenox, Cale didn’t see the silhouette resting on his car as he slowly approached it after the close of work. His mind was preoccu-pied with the thoughts of Jade and the quic-k game she had pla-yed on him.

He couldn’t think of any possible reason why Jade had done something like that to him. She had always been a good and obe-dient girl, who always listened to everything he had asked of her. Now, it was more like she was a different person entirely. Far different from the innocent girl he had met in college, who clung on to him like he was all she had. He couldn’t un-derstand how this changes have occurred or the fact that this changes had happened in just a month.

Did his betrayal with Stephanie ignite this in changes in Jade? Or had she always been like this?
No way! There was no way his Jade could be this cold and indifferent. This was all that woman’s fault. If Stephanie hadn’t provoked Jade countlessly, he was sure she’d have forgiven him alre-ady.

His Jade was such a compas-sionate girl, she’d have forgiven him, had she seen how sincere he was. But no, Stephanie just had to ruin it all for him.

Should he probably go beg her now? Though he might have lost this opportunity to use this contract in qualifying for a promotion, he was sure there would be many other opportunities. But he would nee-d Jade by his side. He won’t give up on her. That girl was his trump card. He’d have to talk to her and apologize till she finally forgives him. Right now he’s just too embarras-sed to do so.

He wondered how his university days would have been had he not met Jade. Those flash card tutoring sessions she had with him, helping him out with his lecture notes, as-signments and project, all those were the reasons he couldn’t leave her alone. Now Stephanie has cost him a gem. A gem he wouldn’t want to lose any time soon.

A de-ep frown appeared on his face and a cold glint in his eyes when he saw Stephanie standing by his car. He st©pped on his tracks a few feets away from where she was, and they both stared at each other silently with various emotions going throu-gh their mind.

One look at Stephanie, and Cale could alre-ady feel his blood boil. He had been avoiding her since the incident at the emergency exit. He didn’t know what he would do, if he was so close to this woman. He’d probably wring her n£¢k and sniff that pathetic, cheating life out of her. Cale ti-ghtly closed his eyes, took a de-ep breath to calm his self down before walking closer to the car.

“Cale” Stephanie called out softly. Cale scowled at her before bringing out his key from his pocket. He cli-cked on the unlock bu-tton and the car responded. Just as he was about reaching for the door, Stephanie blocked his path, staring into his eyes with a pleading look.

“Cale I’m sorry, but you have to hear me out” She demanded in a quiet voice. Cale continued glaring at her with no words to say.

What was she sorry for? For cheating? or for costing him a lifetime opportunity? But he didn’t voice his thoughts out.

“Cale is not what you think, I swear. And you are not giving me a chance to explain myself to you” She said.

“Explain what exactly?” Cale finally spoke, annoyance hinting in every word.

“Explain that I was drun!k. I must have been drugged or something. I don’t know what happened to me. I woke up the next morning and I saw him there” Stephanie explained as tears pooled in her eyes. Cale simply stared at her with inscrutable gaze.

“So you’re saying the famous pla-yboy CEO, Jake Beau, who happens to be the one in charge of signing a contract which you were interested in, drugged and R@p£d you?” Cale asked as he looked at her like he didn’t believe her. Of course he didn’t.

“I’m not saying that”

“Then what the hell are you saying?” Cale roared angrily.

“If Jade had said that, I would have believed her, but definitely not you” He said firmly. Stephanie’s emotions waivered when those words fell from Cale’sl-ips. Her hands involuntarily clenched at the sound of Jade’s name.
Jade again!

She quic-kly composed herself like nothing had happened and took a step closer to Cale as tears rolled down her cheeks.

“Babe I’m sorry. But I didn’t do it intentionally. I’m not lying, I promise you” She said in between sobs slowly reaching for his hand. Before Cale could withdraw his hand, Stephanie let herself into his arms.

“Let me go” Cale said seethingly.

“No!” Stephanie declared, slowly ru-bbing her che-st against his b©dy.

“Stephanie I don’t want to hurt you even though I’m really itching to. Now let me go!” Cale warned angrily. He was having a ha-rd time controlling himself from hurting her right now.

“No! If you want to hurt me then do it. I deserve it” Her tears continued rolling down her cheeks, with her b©dy still pressed against his, she slowly reached for his scrotch with her hands giving it a light squee-ze. Cale felt his b©dy j£rk at her t©uçh.

“St©p it” He said pu-lling her b©dy away from his. Stephanie bit herl-ips s£dûçt!velyas she continued staring at him with her f!ngersgently fiddling the bu-tton of her blouse.

“What are you doing?” Cale asked in frustration. He wouldn’t lie, her actions were slowly arousing him. He turned his head to look around if anyone was watching, since they were both standing in front of his car in the un-derground park of their company, which obviously Stephanie has forgotten or maybe she just didn’t care.

“Nothing” She replied blinking her eyes sultrily. Cale closed his eyes, he turned around, opened the car but before he could close the door, Stephanie had hopped onto the back seat of the car.

His veins bulged in anger. He knew what she was trying to do. This wouldn’t be the first time she had pu-ll-ed such stunt on him.

This was what started his relationsh!pwith her. She had approached him with him with this same move on their first day and he foolishly fell for it.

Cale looked at her throu-gh the rear view mirror and he could see a clear view of her cle-avagestaring boldly at him. He quic-kly closed his eyes trying ha-rd to fight the temptation staring at him in the eye.

“Get out Steph. I mean it” He said a little bit weakly than before. Stephanie wouldn’t hear of it as she gr@bb£d him from behind the drivers seat, slowly planting k!sses on his n£¢k, with her hands roaming over his che-st.

Cale instinctively gr@bb£d her hands that were fiddling with his bu-ttons. “St©p this.”

“No Cale not until you say you’ve forgiven me” She said with a hoarse voice while she continued k!ss!nghis n£¢k and his ears. She smiled to herself when Cale’s grip around her hands loos£ned. She knew this would always work on him.

She had used this same trick in warming her way into his life. It was a pity that Jade had deprived him of S-x and she couldn’t help but step in to take him out of his misery. Poor boy.

She continued ni-bbling on the s-en-sitive p@rt of his ear and Cale could feel his resolve gradually crumble. He could ba-rely keep his head straight, as his de-sires were slowly rising.

Stephanie deftly squee-zed herself past the tunnel console and positioned herself on Cale th!ghs, straddling him.

She slammed herl-ips against his and she started to k!sshim r0ûghly. And as if that was all she nee-ded to break throu-gh his defenses, Cale sn-ked his hand around her w@!st and de-epened the k!ss.

Stephanie’s smile wi-de-ned as Cale gave into her advances. She knew she always had him wra-pped around her f!nger when S-x was involved.

“Tell me you forgive me” She whispered slowly as she straddled him.

“Just get on with it alre-ady” Cale said impatiently with bated breath, while his hands cu-mpped her brea-st.

Stephanie slide down his th!ghs, un-buckled his belt and Zi-pped him down, with her eyes still locked on his. She pushed herself up allowing Cale to raise her Sk-irt. He slide her p@n-ties to the side and slowly led his alre-ady ha-rd ened member into her, before placing her back on his th!ghs as she started ri-ding him.

Stephanie wra-pped her hand around his n£¢k as she continued k!ss!nghim, using her ton-gue to roam throu-gh every corner of his mouth.

Sounds of m0@n s and bodies ru-bbing against each other soon filled the car. They both continued in their act totally lost to plea-sure, not minding where they were.

“Cale say you love me and not Jade” Stephanie demanded with hitched breath as she continued ri-ding him s-en-seless.

“Tell me you want just me and you forgive me” She demanded with her voice hitched.

Cale opened his eyes which were shut and he covered her mouth with his. He sure wasn’t interested in having this conversation right now, and he rather have her mouth doing other things like k!ss!nghim than asking mindless questions.

Stephanie was distracted by Cale’s k!ssand she kept up her pace without waiting for his reply. Their plea-sure climbe-d higher and higher and in no time they both erupted in plea-sure, heaving de-ep sighs as they tried to catch their breath.

Stephanie ran her hand throu-gh her hair before fixing her gaze at the man before her. “So do you…?

Cale interrupted her when bur-st out in laughter like he found something amusing. Stephanie narrowed her eyes as he laughed eerily.

Cale couldn’t st©p himself from laughing, because he had just realized something after this.

Did he really love Stephanie? Or he had always wanted her around because she was always willing to plea-sure.

“Cale!” Stephanie called his name sternly, halting his laughter.

“Get down” Cale told her in an inscrutable tone.

“What?” Stephanie was shocked. She blinked her eyes in confusion. Maybe she was hearing things.

“Get down you who-re before I kill you with my hands” Cale snapped as he stared at her with a disgusting look. He fixed himself up and opened the door gesturing for her to get down from his car. Stephanie was still in shock, she stared at him with her eyes wi-de-ned. This wasn’t happening.

“Cale what is wrong with you. I thought…”

“You thought what? That I loved you and will take you back after cheating or after creating a rift between me and Jade?” He said eyeing her.

“I thought you were smart, but it seems I was wrong. And just so you know I don’t like dumb women. And whatever this was, it was totally cons-en-sual and now that’s over.” Cale said coldly before pushing her off him.

Stephanie was dumbfounded. She couldn’t save herself from hitting the ground.

‘What the hell just happened? Why was Cale suddenly acting this way?’

She picked herself off the ground and rushed back to Cale who had turned on his ignition. She tried opening the door but it was locked from inside.

“Cale why are you doing this? Is this about Jake or Jade?” She asked angrily. This had nothing to do with the fact that she had cheated, there was something more.

“Jake? Who cares if you sleep with the whole universe, I fv¢king don’t care. But stay away from Jade and st©p messing things up between us” He said with a threatening look.

“I’m warning you” Cale felt like a scale had just dropped out of his eyes and for the first time in a long time he could finally see clearly. How could he be so blind that he had acted stupidly.

Indeed he has done wrong by jade but he could still fix it up. Sure he will. He won’t give up on Jade, not in this life.

Stephanie balled her hand into a fist as she watched Cale drive away without looking at her for a split second like she was some who-re. Tears rolled down her cheeks as her nails dug de-ep into her palms.

Has she lose her first fight with Jade?? No way! She will see!
