Jake kept working for hours while Jade tired herself out with games and some graphic designing, till she fell asleep. Just like Jake who has been busy with work for the past two days, she had also been busy thinking about him, and that has deprived her of some sleep.
She had asked Jake to take a nap and step away from work even for a little bit, but the man had refused, claiming he was used to it and wouldn’t break down if that was what she feared. And instead of coaxing him to sleep, Jake had coaxed her to sleep.
And that was how she had ended up in Jake’s office lounge, slee-ping.
Jake looked up from the doc-ument in front of him to the door when he heard a knock.
“Come in” He said, and soon his secretary walked in.
“Sir the doc-uments you asked for” Patrick said as he approached his desk, handing the doc-uments to him.
“Thank you”
“Sir is there anything else you nee-d?” Patrick asked. It was quite late and this would be the second day in a row since he has been staying behind with his boss. Jake hasn’t gone home in the last 48 hours, but he had always asked his Secretary to leave whenever it was late. That was one of the reasons why he liked his boss. The man was considerate. The only negative thing he had in his life was the fact that he was a wom-anizer, but even that has changed. He had been very surprised when he saw Jade and his boss at the ball, and also this morning she had come looking for him, and hasn’t left till now. And he had earlier caught them ki-ssing so intensely this afternoon. These were stuffs his boss wasn’t used to. He had always kept his women business in the clubs and never was a girl seen in his car. But now he was acting differently, and from the way he looks and acts with Jade, he was sure his boss has fallen in love.
Jake looked at the time, and it was 7pm alre-ady, he sighed. He looked at Patrick and said, “You have done well, please go home now. I’ll take care of the rest”
With a happy and gladdened heart Patrick said, “Okay. Thank you sir. Have a good night”
“You too” Jake replied as he watched him leave. He looked across his desk and he was satisfied with the amount of work he had done. He had been a hundred percent more effective since his baby girl arrived. Thinking about her, he stood up from his seat and walked towards the lounge where she was slee-ping.
Jake stood at the door his hand buried in his pockets as he watched her while she sle-pt. He felt a joyous swell in his heart knowing that this girl was his, and that she loved him. He couldn’t describe how proud he felt today when he realized just how intelligent his woman was. He had always known she had a great IQ, but witnessing it was something else. He was amazed.
He was surprised to find himself alre-ady sitted by the side, his eyes longingly staring at her. She looked so beautiful even in her sleep and she looked like an angel who shouldn’t be disturb£d, but before he realized what he was doing he was alre-ady leaning towards her, and his li-ps were alre-ady hovering over hers.
He placed a feathery ki-ss on her li-ps, and that was enough to stir Jade awake. She slowly fl!¢kered her eyes open and as expected Jake’s face was only a breath away.
“Hey” She greeted in a hoarse voice as she tried to stiffle a yawn.
“sle-pt well?” Jake asked, while Jade nodded.
“I did. Are you done with your work?” She asked him with concern.
“Almost, but I can do them at home. First I have to get you home. It’s late” He told her in a really gentle voice.
“Really? It’s late?” Jade asked in surprise as she turned towards the windows and it was indeed dark outside. “How long did I sleep for?” She inquired.
“Three hours, forty five minutes” He arched a brow.
“What? Three hours?” She asked in shock as she quickly sat up, every remnant of sleep completely disappearing. “Why didn’t wake me?” She asked with incredulity.
“For what?” Jake was confused. Why would he want to wake her when she was enjoying her sleep, and he also wanted her to rest well.
Jade looked at him like he had said something silly, and he deserved to be sma-cked by it. “To keep you company of course” She replied in an annoyed tone.
“But that’s what you did. You kept me company even while you sle-pt. Having you here fueled me up” He sincerely told her. And that was the exact truth.
Jade was to-uched by his words, the frown slowly forming on her face disappeared just as it came. “But I wanted to stay with you a bit more and not sleep” She said with a sad pout.
Jake smiled when she behaved like that. Her cute sad pout looked lovely on her. He leaned in and ki-ssed her cheek. “There’s nothing wrong in having you sleep. I wanted you to rest, you looked stress”
“And so do you. Look at your face, you’re not doing a good job at looking handsome for me. You nee-d rest too” She grazed the side of his cheek and his chin with her hand.
“So you don’t find me handsome anymore?” Jake co-cked a brow at her, while Jade shrugged casually.
“I think I have seen better”
“What? Jade!” He snapped while she gave him an innocent look. He was only trying to tease her. So what was that? Who was better?
“Babe you better not be looking at other guys” He warned, with narrowed eyes.
“Then you should work ha-rdon staying pretty. It’s not easy to maintain my interest. New trends are flooding the market, you have to up your game” She said with a straight face, making Jake’s jaw drop as he looked at her in stupefaction. She was joking right? She has got to be joking. His heart was alre-ady racing.
She couldn’t help but laugh when she saw his reaction. His expression was cute, and it made her chuckle.
“You don’t have to take me serious. I was just joking” She laughed when he looked like he was about to turn red with jealousy. Why was he taking it serious?
Her response even made more surprised, a quick frown forming on his face. “You call that a joke?” He asked, while Jade nodded.
“You like tormenting me don’t you? You’re always threatening with scary stuffs, don’t you know you’re not supposed to do that?” His angry face right now was super cute and Jade couldn’t help but laugh more.
“Calm down Jake, I was just joking” She said as she knelt on the b£d. “You know I have eyes just for you. And who else can I look at other than you? You’re the only trend in Vogue” She said as she leaned closer to him, a smile etched on her face. “You’re always handsome and you’re the most handsome guy I know”
Jake looked at her with suspicious eyes, even though he was feeling a tad bit better after hearing her say such words.
“You mean that right? I know I’m always looking gorgeous, isn’t that why you fell in love with me?” He paused and frowned again. “But you have to stop describing with some fashion words. I look better than all those things on trend” He proudly said, making Jade roll her eyes. Did she forget he was such a conceited man?
Hell NO, she did not.
“Yeah yeah, I know. You’re the most handsome man that has ever walked this planet. All the ladies pray to ogle at your gorgeousness. How lucky of me to date the words most handsome man” She said sarcastically, her eyes surreptitiously glaring at him. If only she could hiss right now and scratch that pretty face of his.
“No I don’t want the other ladies to ogle at me, I want only you” He said turning to face her before placing a peck on her li-ps.
“I want to stay handsome only for you, so every other guy can fade in the background. And between us I’m the lucky one. Luck came my way when I met you, and when it comes to beauty, you’re my beauty” His voice reducing by every word he said as he leaned in and ki-ssed her, and that made her blus-h helplessly.
“That’s so corny” She said between his ki-sses, slightly sma-cking his arm. She hooked her hand around his ne-ck, as she dee-pened the ki-ss.
Jake swiftly lifted her and placed across his legs, so she was sitting on him. He used his ton-gue to seek entrance into her mouth which she granted him. He slid his ton-gue into her hot mouth, their engaging in a tango earning mo-ans from their li-ps.
Jade could feel her go blank as he ki-ssed so intensely. The intensity at which he ki-ssed her, and the way his hand were crawling over her b©dy, Jade could ba-rely keep up.
Just like Jade, Jake was slowly losing himself. He was slowly being overwhelmed by his emotions. Her soft and lupscious li-ps, her warm breath, her sweet smile, the way she was holding him ti-ghtly and having sit on his rising bulge, while they were sitting on a b£d, Jake could ba-rely hold back.
Heaven knows how much he wanted to take right now. For the first time he wanted to make love and not have s-x, but he couldn’t let himself to. Though they had done it before, the situation at that time was a complicated one. That was her first time which he had ruined, but he wasn’t going to make the same mistake again. He’d respect her and things the right way..
That’s only if he can truly hold on for that long.
With that thought in mind he slowly pu-lled away from the ki-ss, and said, “Baby let’s get you home”
‘Home?’ Jade frowned slightly when he said that. She didn’t want to go home.
“Now?” She asked him
“Why? You don’t want to go?” Jake asked back, while Jade shook her head, indicating she didn’t want to.
“I don’t want to go home now. I want to stay with you like this” She pouted as she fiddled with the bu-tton of his shirt, with a sad look on her face.
Jake sighed when he saw her behave like that. He also didn’t want her to go at least not yet, but she had to, that was the only way he could refrain himself from to-uching her right now, or make a move on her and he also had to talk with his grandfather tonight.
“But you know you have to. Your mom will be worried, and I still have to impress her don’t forget that” He told her but that made her sadder.
“I’m an adult. I can stay out late, I’m sure she won’t complain” She pressed on, snuggling closer to him. She wrapped her hand around him and placed her head on his che-st, making him crane his ne-ck so he could place his chin on top of her head.
“But don’t forget you still live un-der her roof, and as such you can’t act as you wish. And we can do anything you want in the nearest future. You’ll have me all to yourself” He tried soothing her, but she stubbornly shook her head, despite the fact that she liked the word ‘nearest future’. Jake closed his eyes and took a dee-p breath. His girlfriend was very se-nsible and un-derstanding, but he doesn’t know what had suddenly happened to her.
“Baby do you know you’re becoming clingy?” He asked. Jade suddenly pu-lled away and looked at him.
“You don’t want me to be clingy with you? Is that why you want me to go home? because I’m being too clingy? Don’t you want to be clingy with me?” Jade asked from one question to another. Jake couldn’t help but ki-ss her to shut her up. No matter how strong and intelligent this girl was, there was still a hu-ge baby seated inside of her. He pu-lled away and cu-pp-ed her face with his hand.
“Honey I love you no matter what you do, clingy or not. But you know I’m only doing this for our sake. You don’t want your mother to scold me right? And you nee-d to rest, since you’ll have to go to work tomorrow, okay?” He said as he gave her li-ps a quick ki-ss, making Jade nod her head.
“But can’t we stay here for few more minutes. I’ll miss you all week –”
Jake’s brows furrowed in confusion. “Why all week? You don’t want to see me all week?” He asked confusedly.
“I want to see you, but you have issues to resolve at work, and I want you to focus on that. We’ll see each other by weekend, when you have less issues on your mind, and you can take me on that date” She reasoned.
Jake couldn’t believe what she was saying right now. Spending two days without seeing her or talking to her has been troublesome, and she had gotten angry at him. Now she was the one suggesting something like this?
He couldn’t believe it.
He looked at her in disbelief. “You’re joking” He wasn’t asking her, he was telling her.
“Does it look like I’m joking” She asked rhetorically. “Babe you nee-d the time to fix this” Her babyish voice was disappearing and had now turned normal.
“No, I don’t” His brows narrowed involuntarily, a frown forming on his face.
Jade knew he didn’t like the idea, neither did she. But he nee-ded the time to create that virus and do whatever nee-ds to be done. “You don’t have to look grumpy. We’ll talk over the phone. Just don’t try turning it off, or else I’ll demand for your blood” She threatened mockingly, but Jake wasn’t smiling. He was frowning at her.
Jake looked at her with great intensity, before hissing exasperatedly. “I don’t like this” He confessed. He didn’t like this one bit. He knew she was making se-nse, but he still didn’t like it. He didn’t want to stay the whole week without seeing her. This was just Monday, and weekend felt like a century away.
“I don’t like this either Mr Jake, but responsibility comes first, remember?”
“You’re my responsibility too. It’s my responsibility to ki-ss you, hu-g you….” He paused and looked at her with suspicious eyes. “You don’t want that again? You’ve gotten your fill of me right?” He asked accusingly.
Now he was the one acting like a baby. “Of course I want all that, and that’s why i want us to stay together a bit more. So I won’t get to miss you right away” She told him.
So that was why she was reluctant about going home. She had it all figured out, not thinking about him for a while. Well she was literally doing this for him, but he didn’t want to see things that way.
Jade brushed her hand throu-ghhis hair, her eyes lingering on his li-ps for a while before she leaned in to ki-ss him, as she nugded closer to his b©dy till he couldn’t help but fall back on the b£d and she fell along side with him, till she was lying completely on his broad che-st.
She was slightly startled when Jake fell backwards to the b£d. They longingly stared at each other. Their gaze locked and piercing.
Jade fluttered her eyes a few times and she l!¢ked her bo-ttomli-ps with her ton-gue, before surprisingly swallowing his mouth with hers. Jake’s eyes wi-dened when his girlfriend did all this. He wasn’t embarras-sed or something, it was just that, this was the first time she was taking the initiative to ki-ss him first, and she was straddling him. Jake’s head was blank at the moment and his hand was hanging mid air, not sure where he should put.
Jade pu-lled away from his li-ps when he didn’t ki-ss her back. She looked at with confused eyes, why wasn’t he ki-ssing her back? Was he still angry over what she said?
Jade was about to say something when Jake suddenly fli-pped her over, swapping positions with her making a g@sp escape her mouth. His eyes looked at her oven blue eyes eyes before falling on her soft and lupscious li-ps.
“Jade Peterson you’re really pushing me” He said in a smooth and soft tone, before descending on her li-ps heavily. Jade wrapped her hands around his ne-ck and pu-lled him down so that he could have more access to her mouth, as she also arched her head upward so he could ki-ss her with no abandon.
His ki-ss made her go limp and white in her br@in. Jake continued to ki-ss her hungrily like he was desperate to have drink from the well hidden in her mouth, fiercely exploring every inch of her mouth as she returned the favor. His hand slowly roaming around her hips, and and her arm.
He pu-lled away from her li-ps, leaving them g@sping for breath. Without giving her much time to catch her breath, he started planting feathery ki-sses on her ne-ck, and slowly moved to the se-nsitive p@rt of ear, making mo-an.
Jade let out a se-nsual mo-anfrom her mouth and it sounded like music to Jake’s ears making him to dee-pen his ki-ss on her ne-ck. He lowered his head a little bit and he placed a ki-ss on her che-st, his hands now moving almost all over her b©dy.
“Jake” Jade called out softly, which halted Jake’s actions. He suddenly lowered his head as he tried to hide his face in the crook of her ne-ck.
“I’m sorry” He apologized in a low voice as he still did not look at her. She knew he was feeling embarras-sed for acting like that with her.
“Jake, look at me” She said in a calm voice but the man shook ligthly shook his head. She sighed and pu-lled his face up with her hands, but he lowered his eyes not to look at her. But she stubbornly lifted it up till he was staring at her eyeball to eyeball. His eyes were dark and full of de-sires, de-sires he badly wanted to control he has almost lost control for a minute there.
Like they say, a leopard can never lose its sp-ot.
He had never brou-ght a woman to a b£d and had not had s-x with her. It seems his debauched nature was still inside of him.
“Hey, it’s alright” She said softly.
“I’m sorry. I should have–” His words trailed off when Jade interjected with a peck on his li-ps. “Just shut up” she ordered, and Jake immediately nodded his head ob£diently.
“Can I take you home now?” He asked, and Jade nodded her head affirmatively. “Yes”
