A smile blossomed on his face and for this instance, he is very happy.. he is just living this moment.
“Hmm.” he huskily hummed and hu-gged Brina very ti-ghtly. As the bed was a few feet beside the hu-ge, floor to ceiling window, Louis took the remote and opened the curtains.
Though the palace is built by their ancestors, many modifications have been done and everything is up to the modern comforts.
And, as soon as the curtains got moved to the sides, the golden warm sunlight illuminated on their bodies.
As it is the morning rays, it was so comforting and jubilant. The melodious chirping of the birds and the fresh breeze.. that is what Louis loves most in his Kingdom.
Nature is still being protected to its fullest.
Now, with his woman in his arms, he woke up in a good mood. He wouldn’t get tired of this type of morning.
All he wanted now is to wake up like this everyday. When he is with her, he just forget everything else… including all his stress and tensions.
Meanwhile, Brina woke up too.
“Good morning.” Brina sleepily said, as she hu-gged him ti-ghtly and ru-bbed her face on his che-st, like a cute little kitty.
She missed this..
She missed every single thing about him..
“Morning, darling.” Louis warmly replied with a peck on her forehead. Meanwhile his fingers caressed her soft li-ps.
Brina could right away sense that he is simply too happy. Sometimes, a small moment is enough to make your day, and Brina could feel that too.
“Nice weather. Making me remember our time in the cabin.” Brina said, opening her eyes, as she looked at nature throu-ghthe window.
It was indeed a nice view out there. Nature is simply too beautiful….
“For sure, it is.” Louis agreed as he started playing with her hair. “Our time in the cabin was the best memory of us as I have right now.”
“Sometimes, I just feel like to escape all this and elope with you to there” Louis said, pursing his li-ps.
Brina sighed internally. She would be lying if she claim that she wouldn’t agree with him.
However, she doesn’t want her boyfriend to be called as traitor or coward… especially because of her. She experienced how it feels and it is the last thing she wants for Louis.
She wants him to fight everything br@vely and she don’t want to be a obstacle in it. On contrary she wants to be a part of his glory.
“What have we lost? We will make even more beautiful memories to cherish. We have more than enough time for us to spend with each other. Just don’t think too much for now” Brina said, as both of them continued staring out of the window.
“That’s the spirit, baby!” Louis said, this time looking at Brina whose face is now glowing because of the golden rays of the sun.
He couldn’t help but sensually ki-ss her face. He is about to continue downwards, but Brina stopped him.
She knows that he wouldn’t stop if he starts. Though they haven’t done the deed, she can already imagine her situation. He is a hungry beast… like literally, twenty four seven.
“Haven’t you told me that you have a meeting at eight?” Brina asked, stopping his hand which is now wandering on her ba-re ti-gh.
Even she has to meet with the other ladies and the Queen for breakfast. She don’t want to be the last one to arrive.
“Ahh! I have right? I totally forgot.” Louis sighed, placing his hand on his forehead.
He hates these court meetings.
Board meetings are far, far more better than them.
Brina couldn’t help but laugh, when she saw his cute actions. Getting on top of him she pec-ked his li-ps.
“You should be going.” she said and she is about to reach for a night robe but Louis pulled her back, colliding their bodies all again.
“What happened?” Brina asked, running her fingers throu-ghhis hair.
Louis pouted and buried his face in the middle of her che-st and sighed. “I don’t want to go. I want to stay with you and I hate those meetings.” he childishly complained.
It’s been almost a week all right!! He nee-ds some attention and pampering from his girlfriend!!
“Awww..” Brina cooed, pinching his cheek and pulling it.
“But, my baby Prince has responsibilities, don’t he?” she adoringly asked.
“Now, be a good boy and fresh up.” Brina said, donning a night robe.
Louis pouted. “Bath with me?” he asked, pulling her towards him, again.
As they just get a few hours with each other, he wants to use them to the fullest. He doesn’t want to separate from her for even a single minute.
“Not this time, baby. Even I have to get ready to go for breakfast with the Queen. Charlotte already messaged me to come to the adjacent room.” Brina said, as she wriggled out if his embr@ce and walked into the closet.
Louis pouted and quickly wore a night robe and followed Brina inside.
“Baby, how about I ask mom to postpone it by an hour? It is not a big deal.” he said.
Indirectly, he wants to bath with her.
“Don’t you dare! I don’t want your mother to speculate something about us.” Brina firmly said.
What if they think that she is manipulating Louis or trying to wield her power as his girlfriend?
Who knows what others might think!
“Who am I to go against my girlfriend?” Louis said, acting very cute.
“I’m not going to melt, honey. Get dressed and go back to your quarters soon.” Brina said, as she took a bathrobe. She is about to go into the bathroom, but Louis stopped her.
“At least give me a ki-ss! How heartless.” he pitifully ‘sobbed’. At least, pretending.
Brina laughed and wrapped her arms around his ne-ck and gave him a sound ki-ss, which Louis of course de-epened it.
He was about to loosen the sash of her night robe and get his hands inside of it…. trying to trick her with lust, but Brina smacked his hands away.
“Now, go!” she said and immediately walked into the bathroom before locking up the door.
Louis sighed and walked into the kitchen. It’s been days since he made coffee for her..
So, he quickly made her a coffee, wrote a short ‘love note’ and went back to his quarters using the same secret chambers.
‘She is so, so beautiful, brother! She is wearing a black knee length dress. And, ahh.. her collarbones are so awesome! One can die happily after seeing her legs.. she is totally beautiful.’ Eliina messaged her brother.
They are now sitting for breakfast and Eliina is secretly chatting with her brother who is in the court meeting.
Louis couldn’t help but roll his eyes. His sister exaggerates.. but, yeah! This time she isn’t!
His baby girl is really so beautiful.
‘Sis, don’t you dare to ogle at my wifey! Just make sure you report to me what she is having for breakfast.’ Louis texted back.
‘Bro.. you might be the next King, but for me you are still a sister slave. And, you don’t have to tell me, I will take care of my sister-in-law well.’ she texted back.
‘Good girl. I will cook for you later. And, make sure those spoiler, arrogant ladies don’t haras-s my babygirl.’ Louis typed.
‘Yep, yep.’ Eliina replied.
Meanwhile, at the court meeting, Louis’s uncle the Prime Minister, Sir Francis hasn’t failed to notice the distracted Prince.
Though he seems a lot energetic and happy, he is equally distracted.
Sir Francis is aware that Louis is now having all his mind and heart revolving around his girlfriend.
He couldn’t help but sigh. However, he un-derstood Louis’s feelings and circu-mstances.
‘Edward, concentrate.’ Francis mouthed to Louis who had just finished texting.
Louis slightly nodded his head and listened to what Sir Draco, Olivia’s father is telling.
….
“So, what do you do, Lady Brina?” Queen Mother Greta asked.
She is the grandmother of Louis.
Though she is already retired from her Royal service and is now living in a private estate in a peaceful countryside, she just returned to meet with the Ladies.
She has known Olivia and Katherine from their childhood but she isn’t that familiar with others. For her, Brina is totally a stranger.
“I work in S & S Corporations, Your Highness.” Brina politely answered.
“An employee?” Queen Mother Greta asked.
“Yes, Your Highness. I work there as a project manager.” Brina replied.
Louis and Harry have decided to manipulate Brina’s work history. Instead of L & E, she would be nice working in S & S.
“Hmm.. I heard of that company before. A few years back it had its br@nch here but got shut down.” Queen Mother Greta said, more like talking to herself.
Meanwhile, Katherine and her friend Phoebe shared a secret glance and smi-rked.

What a Lady, Charlotte has brou-ght!
“So, have you known anything about the Kingdom of Aletros or have you just come here because Lady Charlotte has asked you too?” She asked, mockery evident in her voice.
Only if she would have known the real net worth of Brina!!
“I have worked in Aletros, for a few months before, Your Highness.” Brina said.
She knows that these people had just started to belittle her. But, Brina knows exactly how to handle these kinds of people.
Going by impulse won’t work. So, she nee-ds time to sketch the scheme for everyone.
“I see.” Queen Mother Greta replied without interest and then shifted her attention to her favorite lady.. Lady Olivia.
Meanwhile, Louis’s stepmother Elora sighed. It was supposed for her who should be having this breakfast meeting.. but this old woman disrupted everything.
Even Eliina didn’t like how her grandmother talked with Brina. She would have done something if it was any lady here.. but she is helpless when it comes to Queen Mother.
‘Bro, old lady is throwing her weight all over again! She just belittled your wifey for being an employee!’ Eliina texted helplessly.
‘Brina isn’t an employee.. She is the CEO. Well, an ex-CEO to be precise. And, don’t worry about the old woman there.. My girl knows how to handle arrogant, conservative and superstitious oldies like her.’ Louis instantly replied.
Meanwhile, the breakfast got completed in silence after the Old Lady spoke with everyone.. more like enquiring them about everything.
It even came to their education background.
“You have your graduation from Alpha Academy right, Olivia?” Queen Mother Greta asked all in sudden.
“Yes, Your Highness. Two degrees in fact.” Olivia proudly said.
“That is where I met Prince Edward and Prince Ethan for the first time.” she said.
Alpha Academy.. the top most University in all the Five Kingdoms. Not only in these five but also it is in Top Five Universities across the globe.
However, eighty percent of students there are from the Royal Families and Noble Families in these Five Kingdoms. Twenty percent will be of common aspirations who are exceptionally brilliant.
Getting the chance to study there is totally of a different level and having two degrees is next to impossible.
“So fascinating. Ladies like you are totally rare nowadays. Such a shame that Prince Ethan chose a mere commoner over you. I pity you, dear.” Queen Mother Greta said, indirectly pointing to Brina’s place as well.
“You flatter me, Your Highness. I am not as great as you depicted me as.” Olivia shyly said, giving her signature smile.
“So modest and eloquent! I hope Prince Edward has good judging skills, unlike his brother.” Greta said for which Olivia blus-hed.
Meanwhile, Katherine is totally seething in anger!
Such a shame that she just got one degree from Alpha Academy.. even that, she has pas-sed with a great difficulty.
However, Katherine couldn’t do anything but clench her fists and keep her cool self.
Everyone knows that King Edgar and his mother, Queen Mother Greta are biased towards Olivia.
Moreover, they had to take good care of her as well. She is after all from the powerful House of Lykaios. Their loyalty is nee-ded right now.
Meanwhile, after breakfast, Queen Mother retired to her quarters to rest. While going she didn’t forget to glare at Brina.
However, Brina just smiled inside.
