EPISODE 73
“But, I can’t leave Will here, all alone. If I go to the Kingdom of Aletros, it is like I am risking both mine and Will’s life.” Brina said.
“And, I can’t leave Louis either, aunty. I am almost losing my mind thinking about it.” Brina said, pursing her li-ps.
She is slowly sipping her jui-ce while she is talking. It felt good as her throat was so dried up.
“Brina, if your parents were alive, I’m sure they would have asked you to go for your love.” she said.
“You can protect Will and win your love as well. There are advantages and disadvantages if you become a Queen.”
“Even if you decide to stay back like a coward, your enemies will get back to you one or other day. The clash is inevitable and by going to Aletros, you might be just preponing it.”
“Love just comes once in a life, dear. You must take your decision wisely. If the Prince really loves you, he will do anything for you even if it goes against your enemies. Does he love you to that extent?” the old woman asked.
Brina nodded her head.
She is sure that Louis loves her to that extent… might be even more.
And, she is aware that he will do anything for her and goes to any length to protect her.
But, all that is stopping her is Will.
“Then why are you thinking, dear? You can’t just sit here like a loser! Having too much of cautiousness is as dangerous as having too much of recklessness. You should not forget who you were once!! Think about those days and tell me if this challenge is any more dangerous compared to the ones you used to take before?” the old woman asked.
Brina nodded her head no. “But, I’m not the previous Brina anymore.” she said, weakly.
“Brina, you have to become Sabrina again. If you want to win your love and protect Will, you can’t stay like this anymore. Cheer up, kid!”
“Your parents, brother, Lillian and Will would want you to be your past self itself. I am sure they would not appreciate this type of Brina who easily accepts her defeat even before the fight started.” the old woman told.
Brina felt her heart a little light and she gave a slight smile.
“Think about it dear. I know you hate that li-” she is about to continue but after seeing her granddaughter running to them in hurry she stopped.
“Sister Brina, are you all right?” A twenty years girl asked, worriedly.
“I am fine Hana. I just fainted.” Brina said and leaned on her as she walked inside.
Hana and her grandmother made Brina lie down on the bed and Hana got herself busy in cooking food for Brina.
Meanwhile, the old lady made Brina drink the rehydrating solution and helped her to change her clothes.
She couldn’t help but chuckle a bit when she saw a faint red Hi-ckey on Brina’s cleavage.
She un-derstood how much Brina was in love with the Prince. Right from her childhood, Brina never liked it, if others tou-ched her, until unless they are very close to her.
Even when she was in relationship with Nickolas, she ba-rely allowed him to ki-ss her, let alone, touch her. She should really be in de-ep love with Prince Edward to let him sleep with her… and mark her like this.
Meanwhile, Brina lied down a little bit and the old lady insisted on mas-saging her back and body. They are so stiff after sitting in the same position for this long.
After thirty minutes, Hana came into the room with nutritious food and the old lady tried to feed Brina.
However, she ate so little.
“Sister Brina, we have to go to the hospital. You are so weak.. we should get you some IV drip.” Hana said, totally worried.
Brina shook her head, no.
The old lady couldn’t help but sigh.
Their young miss is as stubborn as before.
Somethings never change!!
“All right, Hana. Let sister Brina get some rest.” saying so, she dragged her granddaughter out.
Outside Brina’s room..
Closing the door, the old lady looked at Hana.
“Brina will not listen to us. She is so weak right now and nee-d a doctor’s help. As we are helpless, only your boss Harry can convince her.” she whispered.
“So, make a call to your boyfriend and ask him to leak Brina’s whereabouts to Harry. It’s an emergency!” old woman said.
“But grandmother, this place is sister Brina’s special place. We should not go against her orders.” Hana worriedly told the old lady.
“It’s fine. Her health is more important and right now, she nee-ds Harry’s as-sistance too. Just do what I say.” the old lady firmly said and Hana nervously looked at bedroom’s door.
Reminding herself how tired and weak Brina was, she reluctantly nodded her head.
….
By the time Harry and Charlotte arrived at the farmhouse, it’s already night.
As soon as they got to know Brina’s whereabouts, they immediately rushed here.
Ahh… she is so, so good at hiding herself.
Meanwhile, Brina was sitting in the garden, on the gras-s while she gazed at the stars in the sky.
It always make her remember her memorable time in Cabin, with Louis
And, just by looking at her, Harry and Charleotte could tell how weak she has physically become.
Swollen eyes, red nose and dry li-ps…
She looked so pitiful.
When Charlotte found out that Brina has fainted and didn’t wake up for more than twenty four hours, she felt so guilty and sad.
However, she haven’t said anything to Louis because she is sure he would come running to her.
“Brina..” Harry called his sister very softly, standing a little far from her.
Who knows how she would act?? It’s better to maintain a safe distance.
What if she throws her knife directly to his body?
Dazed Brina is scary like a hell.
Brina, who was in her own thinking, didn’t get startled mor she was surprised.
She just hummed in response.
She is already expecting him. She knows that he would find her anytime soon and she is also aware that her nanny has leaked her whereabouts.
After getting response, it was only when Harry gestured to Charlotte to proceed.
Then, they walked to her and sat down beside her on either side.
“Brina, how are you?” Charlotte asked, guilt evident in her eyes.
“How am I? I don’t know anymore how I am.” Brina replied, still staring at stars.
It used to be her childhood hobby but now, it has become a way to feel Louis close to her. They used to this every night while they are in their cabin.
“Brina, let’s get you to hospital first. See how weak you are! You were not even able to talk” Harry chided her.
Brina was about to deny so, Harry didn’t had any option but to tranquilize her and escort her to hospital.
Why to argue with someone who is already weak?
Later, Charlotte and Harry helped Brina into the car and they drove of to nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, Louis who was sitting in his own garden, staring at the stars, just like Brina, got this information from his shadow team.
That Brina is now in hospital!
Louis almost felt like his heart stopped.
Brina is in the hospital??
What would have happened and why didn’t Charlotte inform him about this?
A bead of sweat rolled down from his temple and Louis could feel the shivers invading his body. If not for the armrest he is clutching to, one could clearly see his hands trembling.
He couldn’t help but feel extremely guilty. He promised to his babygirl that he would stay with her in her lowest times.
But now, he’s the one who became the reason for her suffering.
These thoughts are killing him and every second of his life has started becoming a living hell.
Without her beside him, he is nothing but a helpless and devastated human being.
Louis immediately came to the decision to go and visit his Brina. He might not be allowed to go out but he is the Prince.. the next King.
So, no one has the authority to stop him from doing what he wants. And, nothing is more important than his babygirl to him.
Louis quickly packed up and in meanwhile, he made a call to Charlotte.
Charlotte, who is waiting for Brina to wake up, felt her phone viBr@te. And, she couldn’t help but tense when she saw Louis’s number popped out on her screen.
“He would have found out, Char. And, I’m sure, he is coming here. Nothing is more important than Brina for him. You better answer his call or else, you will surely face his wrath.” Daniel said, when he noticed the troubled expression on Charlotte’s face.
Charlotte nodded her head and nervously, she answered the call.
“Why haven’t you told me, Charlotte. Are you now taking the side of my uncle and my family?! Let me tell you this… no one can stop me if I want to come there. And, I’m just being filial because I love my country and I have to protect it at its lowest, so don’t take it as my obedience!” Louis fired up, not even giving her time to greet him.
He was that angry.
Charlotte could feel how frustrated he is. And, she doesn’t blame him because she knows how it feels.
Brina is the most important person in his life, almost as important as his birth mother. He is naturally very afraid of losing her.
“Louis, I am not taking any sides. I’m always with you and the reason I haven’t informed you is because Brina got admitted to the hospital just because she is weak.. nothing like what you are thinking.”
“Don’t get too emotional, Louis. If you come here, it will indirectly affect Brina herself. You will freak her out.. so, let’s play this wisely. There is no nee-d for you to come here. All you have to do is, let us talk with Brina first and try to convince her.” Daniel, who was listening quietly till now, said.
Louis sighed and slumped on to the chair. He is actually being too impulsive and emotional right now.
Daniel is right!
It will only freak out Brina if he goes there.
“Hmm.. but I want to talk to Brina. I want to listen to her voice.” Louis told them, yearning too evident in his painful voice.
“Can you bear it?” Daniel questioned.
After all, Brina’s voice is too faint and pathetic right now.
He is sure that his friend can’t handle it. It will tear his heart more than it already is.
“Please, Dan. I can’t wait anymore.. I want.. want to tal.. talk to her.” Louis said, trying so ha-rd to control the overwhelmed emotions that are surging up.
“If you talk like this, Brina might feel bad too.” Charlotte said, her heart already getting twisted.
She couldn’t help but feel so sad for this couple.
“Isn’t it what we want, Char? If they talk with each other, they might realize how impossible it is for them to live separately. Let them talk.” Daniel whispered.
Charlotte nodded her head, un-derstanding what Daniel meant.
“After she wakes up, we will call you, Louis. Don’t freak out and stay relaxed. Brina is totally fine.. it’s just an IV drip.” Charlotte said and ended the call, before leaning back on to the couch, thinking de-eply.
…..
After a few hours…
Brina woke up feeling drowsy, only to find herself on the hospital bed with an IV drip attached to her arm.
‘Ahh, I got tricked.’ she thought. But she felt a little better after getting a drip. She is not as weak as before.
“You are awake.” Harry, who was sitting on the bedside chair, said, slightly angered because of her.
She has indeed made him walk throu-ghhell in these four days.
“Hello.” Brina said, guiltily.
She could see the black circles around her brother’s eyes and his voice was hoarse. He was clearly worried because of her.
“So, you do remember that you still have a brother and he would have been worried about her.” Harry said, his face dark.
Brina pursed her li-ps. She shouldn’t have vented out her helplessness on him, by making him worry about her.
It’s her fault.
“Sorry, brother. I didn’t know what to do. That was quite a shock for me.” Brina said, patting the space beside her.
Harry obliged and quickly sat beside her and wrapped his arms around her, taking her into his emBr@ce.
At last he could sigh in relief when he felt his sister safe in his arms.
Can’t she un-derstand that she is the most important person in his life? Why does she have to always torture him like this?
Brina felt emotional and hu-gged him back. “I am sorry.. I shouldn’t have worried you this much. I’m sorry brother.” she cried, W-etting his shirt.
She is still unstable, mentally.
“You indeed have made me worry, Sabrina. But, leave about it and tell me what you have decided.” Harry asked, using her real name for the first time, after so many years.
“Whatever it is, I will support you. Charlotte has already made all the arrangements if you want to go with them. Louis has struggled a lot and he successfully managed to make all the arrangements to protect you and also hide your identity till you become a Queen. I don’t know why, but he is adamant that you will surely win. Going there is totally safe with Louis, Charlotte and Daniel present.”
