“I am not going back, Louis. Did I forget to mention that big brother se-nt me here to work together with you, as your personal secretary and also as the vice president?” Charlotte winked.
Louis gr-unted his teeth and glared at Charlotte who was grinning happily.
Louis would never say no to his big brother and it’s already too late for it either. She already got her appointment letter and her luggage was moved to his penthouse already.
Charlotte would be staying with Louis from now on.
“And, tomorrow I will be the one to interview our girl. So exciting, isn’t it?” Charlotte tea-sed him more.
“Don’t call her ‘our girl’.” Louis hissed and Charlotte started laughing.
“It’s going to be fun…hahaha…she doesn’t even know that you are the CEO/President and I am the vice president. But we are going to pretend like employees.” Charlotte chuckled.
“How thri-lling,” she giggled.
“I’m gonna tell this to Calvin. Let us see if he wants to join the fun.” Charlotte clapped her hands and hopped back to her room which is adjacent to Louis’.
“This is going to be a hu-ge roller coaster ride than I thought.” Louis grumbled.
But he has a faint smile on his l-ips, evident that he likes his friends.

*Next morning.*
This is the first day Brina woke up alone in her flat. She and her friend Tanya had always shared the flat till now.
Now, Brina couldn’t even sleep properly now! Without her friend it felt empty and desolated.
But what to do! After Tanya got engaged, yesterday, she moved in with her fiancé who is none other than the CEO of the company they work for.
From now on, she is all alone in this hu-ge flat.
But it’s okay.
It is not like she never lived alone. It is just that, she had a terrible past and the tiny snippets of it still make ghastly appearances in her terrible nightmares.
She nee-ds someone to @$$ure her that it’s just nightmares and everything is going to be fine.
However, she has no one to do it.
‘But it’s okay,’ Brina @$$ured herself and got ready.
As she already took a casual leave, she wanted to attend her interview in L & E corporations.
However she got a call early in the morning from Chris who is her boss and the same person who proposed to her on the cruise ship.
“Sir.” Brina greeted, firmly drawing a line between them. She already confessed that she doesn’t feel anything for him. So, why give him a false hope.
As soon as Chris heard the bitterness in her voice, he couldn’t help but feel as if his heart got pricked by hundreds of nee-dles altogether.
“Brina, are you fine? I heard that you applied for a casual leave today.” He asked rather worriedly.
“I am fine, sir. It’s just a casual leave to spend some alone time.” Brina lied.
However, Chris easily se-nsed that she was in fact lying. He knows her too well, after all.
“Brina, listen! If this is because of my proposal that night, I am sorry. Let’s just forget about it and continue being friends and colleagues.” He apologized to her.
Brina couldn’t help but feel extremely guilty. He is good and sincere. However, she doesn’t have any feelings for him and moreover she doesn’t like the fact that he is a public figure in the business world.
She nee-ds an unpretentious life and a better half.
“No sir, it isn’t because of that night. After Tanya moved out of the house, I thought that I nee-ded some time for myself. I have to adjust.”
Chris sighed. “All right. Take care and call me if you nee-d any help.” he sighed.
‘After you come back, you have to work as a PS of Tanya. That only means I will get to spend more time with you, Brina. Let’s see how you will resist my charms’ Chris thought as he smi-rked.
Moreover, Tanya and Ben Cooper (CEO) agreed to help him in that aspect.
However, he wouldn’t have expected that she would resign to her job and fall for someone more charming than him.
….
At exactly 4pm, Brina made her way inside the 25th floor where interviews are being handled.
Cladded in black, above knee length dress she coupled it with a pla-id, grey and black blazer….she looked totally professional.
The ti-ght fit dress complemented her perfect and s-xy bo-dy while the blazer gave a formal and cl@$$y look. The black three-inch heels appreciated her long and slender legs, making every employee glance at her, at least once.
Overall she is damn beautiful that she instantly became the center of attention.
Though she hated to be so, she didn’t have an option but to get ready in this eye catching and attrac-tive outfit.
She desperately nee-ded this because she has to resign her current job and move on. She hates to work in the inner circle of the company with all those arrogant rich br@ts and pla-yboys.
Meanwhile…
On the top floor of the building, Louis and Charlotte are looking intently on the computer screen.
It is because he is not yet sure if she will appear to the interview or not. If she doesn’t, conducting such a hu-ge interview is for nothing.
“Damn! She is so s-xy. God, look at her slender legs and thin wa-ist. Oh my! I think I fell in love. Love at first sight!” Charlotte started grinning and jumping making Louis glare at her.
Even he couldn’t deny that she is alluring and charming in that dress. He badly wanted to meet her and hu-g her.
His l-ips are craving to taste those luscious l-ips again.
…..
“Excuse me, I am here for an interview and the management didn’t mention the floor in which it is being held. Could you please guide me?” Brina politely asked the receptionist.
The receptionist nodded her head politely and started searching for the information. As the interview was planned only recently, she is still surprised why the company issued a sudden interview to recruit employees.
The company already reached its required count of employees and in addition to this, today’s interviews are not being conducted by the HR depa-rtment but someone else whose information isn’t displa-yed in the portal.
It’s like a special intake for some special and confidential project.
“You are on the right floor ma’am. Take a right turn and please do wait in the third hall on your left.” the receptionist answered.
Though the notification about this surprise interview was announced a day back, the company received hundreds of applications.
There is going to be a hell of competition given with how famous this company is. It is a prestige to work here…
Meanwhile, Brina made her way into the hu-ge hall and got speechless by the crowd sitting inside. Most of them are anxious while some of them are clearly pretentious and narcissistic br@ts. It is evident that they are here throu-ghthe back door!
Sighing silently, she took the seat and started wondering if she would get the job. She was never this desperate…
She really doesn’t want to work in her current company anymore and it seems a little difficult here to get selected. After all, some recommended rich br@ts are here too…
But what she doesn’t know is that this interview is just a dupe to prevent her from getting suspicious.
This interview is taking place because Louis wants her in this company. She, for sure, is going to get selected and the rest of the others have to make their way inside with their true potential.
“I heard that six people will only be selected from all of us.” A handsome man sitting beside her said.
“And, I heard that three of us are already selected. Some rich br@ts got recommendation from their influential fathers and got into the company. They are only here for namesake.” A woman told Brina and the man beside her.
“Excuse me for not introducing myself. I am Hailey.” That girl introduced herself after seeing Brina’s amused expression.
“I am Luke.” Another person introduced himself, extending his hand.
“I am Brina” Brina introduced herself, shaking her hands to both of them.
Little she would have thought that they would become her good friends in the company, always supporting her no matter what happens.
Meanwhile, on the top floor…
Charlotte is adjusting her top and combing her hair again and again to look attrac-tive.
First impression lasts. So, she really wanted her crush, Brina, to have a good impression on her.
“Go, already! And will you please stop exaggerating.” Charlotte’s twin brother Calvin said, annoyingly.
“Saying the person who took one hour in his Hotel’s suit just to get ready to look handsome in front of his ‘crush’!” Charlotte mocked.
Calvin grimaced and hissed.
Louis is his crush since the beginning but he never said that to Louis. Moreover, he knows that Louis is straight.
Louis had a crush when they were in university. He was so smitten to her, however, something went wrong and Louis never talked about that afterwards.
But it is evident that Louis is into women, although he never got himself a girlfriend despite his good looks and wealth.
It was him who never accepted anyone.
Meanwhile, Louis walked inside and frowned.
“You are still here, Charlotte?! Didn’t you demand that you want to interview everyone?” he questioned her.
“If you don’t want to go, I would rather prefer to go by myself.” he smi-rked, already walking towards the door.
“Hey, I want to look good in front of ‘our’ crush. See yourself, dressed in black suit looking all s-xy and handsome.” Charlotte retaliated.
“You are trying to crush your competitor, dude.” she added, making a face.
“But I always wear black suit, you dumb woman. And, for your information I don’t nee-d any special preparation to look good in front of my woman.” Louis confidently told, sm-irking.
“I am born handsome.” He added, fixing his hair.
“Narcissist!” Charlotte grumbled and rolled her eyes.
“Will you please go and recruit her sooner? I am craving to ki$$ her again, you know.” Louis is intentionally told to piss off Charlotte.
They just love to bicker with each other. However, others would often @$$ume that they are a couple having a couple’s bickering. However, they are just good friends and most importantly both are into women.
Meanwhile, annoyed by their childish banter, Calvin looked at the bickering pair and couldn’t comprehend what they are talking about.
He still doesn’t know anything about what happened between Brina and his ever dying crush, Louis.
He still doesn’t know that Louis has been taken already.
“Don’t be so overconfident! You are making me nauseous.” Charlotte scoffed and stormed out of the room with a file in her hand. She took the elevator and before going, she mounted closer to Louis and then closed the elevator.
“So, Louis, you are in love?” Calvin asked cautiously.
He is always cautious not to show any hints of his crush on Louis. It is because he is not a fool to not un-derstand that Louis is not into men.
