The party was cancelled in half as there is so much he had to handle.
…..
Gabriel felt helpless that he started smashing the things in his study room. He is totally frustrated…
“Uncle, be careful” Nickolas said as he entered the room cautiously.
“Tell me, Nickolas. Do you really mean what you said back there?” Gabriel asked, angry and restless.
“I mean it with all my heart, uncle. Do you think I am still in love with Sabrina?? She looked down at me, humiliated me and made me look inferior. Her father never respected me nor he never acknowledged me as someone equal to his daughter”
“You, on other hand, made me feel the true love of Camilla. She is the perfect person for me and for making me realize it, I am forever indebted to you”
“And, you have truly made me what I am, today, uncle. The second master! You in fact, treated me better than your own son’s. You always had higher regard for me”
“Even a fool would be able to un-derstand what is best for him on both sides. Moreover, uncle Sabrina would kill me as soon as she saw me. So will her father”
“Not even a saint would support the persons who are trying to kill him” Nickolas reasoned.
Gabriel smiled, totally convinced.
What could he do? This is what Nickolas has been doing all these years.
Flattering him and lic-king his boots.
He proved his loyalty many times!
“Good that you know what is the right thing to do. We are switching our plan actually” Gabriel said, gesturing to him to close the doors so they could discuss.
“If George and Sabrina return, we will be pushed to the corner, Nickolas. We will be helpless and it will be a sucide mission if we go against them in the Kingdom.” Gabriel said.
“So, the only option is to not let Sabrina and her family return to the kingdom” Nickolas said.
“Yes, right. I have been thinking the same. But, how???” Gabriel pursed his li-ps, thinking hardly.
However, un-der this excess pressure and his weak health, his mind is not as active as it is before.
“We can’t let them come here. We have to kill them” he told Nickolas.
Nickolas smi-rked inside.
Sabrina is totally right about her uncle’s mind set. Her guess is absolutely right.
“I have a plan, uncle. But, you might not like it” Nickolas said.
“Don’t worry. Tell me about it. We need to formulate our plan as soon as possible” Gabriel impatiently said.
He is totally in rage now!
Past few months have been worse of his whole life!
First, the fall down of his un-derworld organization.
Secondly, they lost control of Kingdom Phliion’s military.
Now, Sabrina and her family are coming back to take the only power he has in his hands, Kingdom Wentris!
“Uncle, what is more important to you? Rebellion or Kingdom Wentris?” Nick asked.
“Of course the Kingdom!! Rebellion is just a camouflage we made in order to take over other kingdoms!! How could I conquer other Kingdoms when I couldn’t even have my own Kingdom in my grip.huh?” he fired out.
“Cool down, uncle, cool down. I have a perfect plan, then” Nickolas said..
“First of all, we need to prevent Sabrina and her family from taking over the throne. Only option is to kill them. So, we could kill them and make it look like it is done by rebellion people” Nickolas said.
As Rebellion is run by Gabriel’s second handed man, to cover up who their real boss is, they can easily implicate it on that right handed man and make it look like he killed Sabrina and her family.
No one would be able to find out because, as soon as that happens, they are going to demolish the rebellion too.
And, then, make it look like Gabriel took revenge for his brother’s death.
That will not only divert suspicions but also make him the King again.
A win win!!
“Secondly, as Diego is in love with princess Eliina, go and make an alliance. As Diego is next king, she will be next Queen. Who would say no to it??” Nickolas chuckled. “You will have support from her Kingdom too”
“Slowly, we can build up our power again.” Nickolas added.
Gabriel nodded his head.
He liked this plan.
Easy and simple.
Less risky although they need to sacrifice the rebellion they built over years.
As of Eliina, they could just convince King Edgar that the demands they made are not from them. They can think about it later as well.
For now, Sabrina and her family are the target.
“Your plan is convenient. Give me this night to think about it, Nick.” Gabriel said.
He is not easy to fool.
He will proceed only after confirming everything.
However, unfortunately, he is being deceived by the people he trusts most. And, they know a way more than him.
He works all alone but they work as a team.
Even a super genius brain could be overshadowed by a group of ‘just’ smart brains.
“Take your time, uncle. Do your own investigation and we can proceed only after you agree with it” Nickolas said, as he walked out of the house.
His other part of the plan is over.
Now, the main part.
Don’t let Gabriel find out about anything.

Meanwhile…
In Kingdom Aletros…
Brina and Louis are now cuddling, not able to sleep.
He is caressing her tummy while they look at the dark sky, busy in their own thoughts.
“I hope everything went well there,” Brina whispered.
“It must have gone just as we predicted, love. Don’t worry about it” Louis a-ssured her.
“What if not?? What if he has other thoughts in his mind or, what if he found out about me already” she asked worriedly.
“We have all our people working on it. They would never be able to trace the video back to us. We have the world’s best hacker and tech team working here! They will surely make it look like what we wanted it to be” Louis said.
“The only thing we need to worry about is, will Gabriel take Nickolas’s bait?? Your ex will be useless if not for this” Louis sulked on the last sentence.
Brina chuckled.
“I have a strong feeling that he will take the bait. If this night pa-ss good, without Gabriel finding out anything, we almost won” Brina said.

Next morning…
None of the people had good sleep on both sides.
Brina and Louis spent more night talking of possibilities of what might happen while Diego and Eliina had talked plenty about Sabrina.
However, Eliina didn’t reveal her relationship with Sabrina. She mostly listened to what all her boyfriend said. He got pretty emotional when he found out that his favourite cousin, uncle and aunt are alive!!!
He wanted nothing more than that.
As of Camilla and Nickolas, Camilla spent all her night at her mother’s memorial, swearing inside that she will take revenge soon.
She escaped from Nickolas as she doesn’t want to feel sad and depressed. He proposed her but that’s just a part of the plan..
How good it would have been if it’s real…
But she is equally aware that he harbour no feelings for her. His heart is still stuck with Sabrina, who have already got married and is pregnant.
Meanwhile, on other hand, Nickolas was immersed in work and so are James, Remus, Harry, Ethan and others.
Louis has to be working but he prefered to take care of his wife first. So, he ended up cuddling and talking to her…

“Let’s talk about our plan. Call all our trusted allies now” Gabriel said as he walked out of his study room, sleep deprived and exhausted.
“Sure, uncle. I will” Nickolas said, quickly getting into the work.
James, Layla, some other people working for Nickolas shortly arrived.
Even Griffin arrived. He left his wife in care of her maiden family so that she would not be un-der any risks…
The history is indeed repeating…
That time, Sabrina, although she is smart and observant, almost lost her life because she was kept in the dark and was also betrayed by her loved ones.
Now, it’s Gabriel.
Although he is cunning, smart and observant just like Brina, his own children are betraying him. He is being kept in the dark about many things.
Given his heart attack and weakening body, he is dependent on Nickolas and his children whom he trusts so much.
But, that’s Karma…
It is just being returned to him.

“Did you get the location from where she made her live telecast?” Gabriel asked his right handed man who was allocated to do it.
“It’s been difficult sir. We used all our sources and-” he was about to continue when Gabriel cut him off, impatient to listen to the history.
“Cut it short,” Gabriel ordered.
“Country M, XXX town, a mansion near the forest” he answered.
Gabriel nodded his head.
If Sabrina escaped alive, she would have hidden herself well, out of his radar. And, this place he mentioned, it perfectly fit her requirements and taste.
“And, Nick, I asked you to investigate how Sabrina, her parents and Will escaped alive. Any progress on that?” he asked.
However the irony is Nickolas is the person who saved her parents.
“Still un-der the progress. However, it looks like there was an un-dergraduate tunnel which we weren’t aware of. That’s just my guess but” Nickolas answered.
What he told now is absolutely right and it is how Brina escaped with Will. And, she was the one who asked Nickolas to tell.about it if he asks about the details.
“That tunnel would have been destroyed after the fire accident. That’s why we couldn’t differentiate” he guessed.
“Moreover, we were in a hurry to close the case because we found their bodies. Who would have thought that they tricked us and there was an un-derground tunnel” Nickolas added.
“No one is blaming you, Nick. I have known that laboratory like the back of my hand. Who would have thought that my niece Sabrina and my beloved brother would hide the existence of an un-derground tunnel from me, when I was their most loyal person?” King Gabriel laughed.
He thought his brother and niece didn’t hide any secret from him because they never doubted his loyalty.
But it was her brother Seth who had that tunnel hidden. He wanted it to be a secret emergency.
So, when fire broke out, it was when he told Brina about its existence and asked her to leave throu-ghit.
But, it’s condition was so worse due to the fire that it would only withstand one person to crouch throu-ghit. It was basically no larger than a manhole for two people to crawl throu-ghit.
So, Seth and Lilian had to sacrifice their lives to give that one man access to Sabrina and William.
William was just five years old and they somehow managed to crawl throu-ghit.
In the meanwhile, Harry was notified of what happened and he was asked to wait at the other end.
And, as soon as, Sabrina and Will came out of that tunnel, they collap-sed.
As it was a laboratory, the fire has made the air extremely poisonous.
Brina who was trained to stay immune for a while could hold it. But, Will was a small boy.
That poisonous gases dananged his heart.
He went into a coma even before they could make their way out. Brina had some bruises and burns. She was in a coma for a few days but due to her relentless training she was almost immune to those gases that didn’t affect her much.

*Back to present…*
“Leave about it. Did you confirm their whereabouts these few years?” Gabriel asked his son, Griffin.
Here, the other irony is, he was the one who has been blocking everyone from knowing about his uncle and aunt’s existence.
“Sabrina was there in a coma for a few days. Her father for over an year. William for two and half years. Her mother is still in a coma” Griffin truthfully answered.
“She has been taking care of those three, staying low profile. I confirmed it” he added.
Layla and Louis even helped in creating a perfect alibi to cover that up.
But, Gabriel here trusts his children so much that he didn’t ask any further questions.
After that, Gabriel asked a few more questions and when he was convinced by the answers, it was only when they started talking about the plans.
They sat in the study room for the whole day, strategizing, planning…
But little Gabriel knows that he is no longer a game master but a king who is nearing checkmate.
