They are looking at you like that because you made them remember my cousin sister, Sabrina who is mostly like you. Your soft tongue, sharp eyes and the way you handle the matters in a smooth way…” he explained.
“Well. You could say that I learned from the best. My sister in law” Eliina answered.
“You talk a lot about your sister in law,” Diego inferred.
“Yes. She is the best,” Eliina beamed.
“A perfect person to become the next Queen” she added.
Before Diego could say something, the lights across the room went off just for a second and then blinked on.
And, before anyone could realize what was happening, the screens in the hall lit up.
A loading symbol appeared.
Meanwhile, everyone thought that it was a part of the party. The memory lane of photos and videos perhaps.
However, it is not just the hall in the palace but every big screen in the Capital city of Kingdom Wentris.
The screens in the malls, advertisement screens on the buildings, roads….every public display screens.
For a minute no one un-derstood what happened.
Some people continued to walk while some stood to see what actually was happening. The streets, malls are bustling with people as Christmas is around the corner.
But everyone stopped in their tracks when they saw the familiar face on the screen.
The face that has an extremely huge impact on the people as well as the noble families who are in the party.
All of them could not help but stand there, stunned to their core, dumbfounded and bewildered.
It’s Princess Sabrina!!!!
Their beloved princess who was supposed to be dead!!
And, they couldn’t believe what they are seeing right now.
For a moment, everyone thought that it could be another woman trying to act like their princess. Or, some old video of her…
But, everything looked so natural…
Her purple eyes…
Her platinum silver hair…
Her perfect features…
….
“Long time, right?” Sabrina asked as she gave her signature smile.
The smile which holds hearts of most of the people.
The way her eyes glowed, made them smile subconsciously.
They missed their princess. The kind, generous, protective and caring princess.
Most of the people nodded to her question, although they are still bewildered.
“I guess I caught all of you by surprise, didn’t I?” she asked, letting out a gentle laugh again. The laugh which is so pleasant and genuine to hear.
“The person who was supposed to be dead, returned alive. I know it’s a lot to take” she added, chuckling a little cutely.
But everyone there knows that she is like this, cute and friendly to the people who are loyal to her and good by heart.
So, no one dares to judge her cuteness to the delicate woman. No one takes it granted…
“Fortunately, I was saved from a fire accident that took place a few years ago. And, I thought why not give you all a surprise by showing up like this. After all, a grand entrance has always been my style” she chuckled.
“I know..I know. You would be wondering why I appeared now when I have been alive all these years. Well, I am waiting for my family to recu-perate” Brina said.
And, this, made everyone gape.
Are…are…they listening ri…right???
Waiting for her family to recover!! .
“My dad, your beloved King George just got recovered to full health. My nephew William woke up from his coma a few days back and he is doing totally fine now.”
“Unfortunately my mother, Queen Jenna (Jennifer) is still recu-perating but by God’s grace, doctors are totally positive that she will get well soon very well.” Sabrina informed.
Meanwhile, everyone is totally shocked.
But they have also felt relieved. They love their previous king and his family.
And, when they find out that they are dead, the whole country is devastated.
Now, finding out that they are alive makes everyone feel like it is a dream.
“I thank my uncle, your current King, King Gabriel for protecting the throne and waiting for my father to recu-perate. He is such a great person, a selfless and loyal man.” Sabrina praised his uncle.
This is the plan.
A plan that make Gabriel most helpless.
Instead of going against him, she is just turning hie table’s against him. For him, nothing is more important than his fame and false facade…
“My family will be back soon. And, I thank everyone for giving your precious time. Have a good day all of you” she added.
“By the way, my family will be coming back on the Christmas Eve and soon, my father’s coronation will be soon after that”
With this she gave her signature smile and ended the live telecast.
After that there is a sudden blink on screens and after that everything returns to normal.
Soon, there is an uproar all over.
This video is telecasted to all over the Kingdom and everyone was bewildered.
But in the end, it is happy news.
Many of the citizens started praising their current king for being so loyal to his big brother and protecting the throne till his return.
‘It shows why King Gabriel has been reluctant to take over the throne at first. He didn’t want to sit on the throne that actually belongs to his brother. Such a brother he is!’ one of the prominent figures right away told in his TV show.
‘King Gabriel is a good King as well. But by traditions and rules, it has to be King George who must be the King. Moreover, he is the best’ another celebrity shared their thoughts.
‘We all know that King Gabriel was never interested in the throne. He took it because he had no option. I guess, he is the happiest person now’ the mayor of one of the cities shared his view.
There were many comments, opinions from several people. And, almost ninety percent are in favour of King George.
All were praising Gabriel for being such a good man. But at last, everyone preferred King George over King Gabriel.
Meanwhile, every news and every show is about the new video that popped up and all the netizens, journalists are talking about politics of what might happen.
At first people thought it’s fake but the most trustworthy organization in the Kingdom Wentris proved it genuine.
They announced that they got a call from King George and his daughter, the princess, Sabrina.
And, soon they even released the solid proofs to prove that Sabrina, George, William, Jenna are alive.
It stopped all the rumors that video is fake.
So, after that, the news is all about their return and how the current King, King Gabriel has stayed loyal.
And, everyone is totally confident that Gabriel is not interested in the throne and he had been waiting for his brother’s return.
So, if Gabriel showed his interest towards the throne now, Sabrina could easily turn tables and reveal his monstrous side.
It is more dangerous!
He is left frustrated and speechless.

Before a few hours….
When King Gabriel and other noble families are busy partying….
This video caught everyone off guard. Everyone was utterly shocked…. so, shocked that the whole place was etched in a pin drop silence.
These people here are the most affected ones because they have been in direct contact with the King and his family.
Some are pretty close people while some others are people who got help from the king during their lowest time.
There are more supporters than antagonists.
George couldn’t make his move with all of them here. All he can do is pretend like he is happy!!
Why should this fu-ck ing live telecast should happen when he is here, with all the noble families with him!!!
Why is he so unlucky!!!
And, that fu-ck ing neice of his has played her mind game as soon as she returned!!
She should have observed everything quietly till now before formulating her plan.
She should have seen that he made a huge hype to highlight his ‘saintly’ character and also, to divert the scope of suspicions that he was the one who murdered his brother.
That is the reason, he acted as if he is not interested in the throne after his brother ‘died’.
However, he was the next in line.
If he denies it, it has to be Diego who should ascend the throne as prince Griffin denied to be taken over.
Whereas, Diego was still a minor and was not yet prepared. So, left with no choice, everyone insisted Gabriel to become king.
So, it appeared like he had no choice but to become the king, thus, perfectly covering the truth that he murdered his brother and his family.
Now, his over smart niece is taking leverage of that to turn the table’s.
If his brother and his family return now, he has no choice but to return the throne. Otherwise, it will be very suspicious to the onlookers…
His brother is the most perfect and worshipped King here. And, no one can stand against him.
Moreover, even if he retorts, his niece, Sabrina can easily pull out the proof to convict him of his misdeeds.
Then, it would be end of his life as well as his dream.
Sabrina has for-ced him into the corner now!!
He could take over by for-ce but, after he lost control over Kingdom Phliion (Remus’s kingdom aka fallen kingdom) he lost his military help too.
And, he also has no un-derworld organization to help him.
He can only ask Layla and their people for help but he is not sure if they could yo to that extent to help him.
Just with a single appearance, his neice has put him back into his suffocating shell.
‘THIS SABRINA!!!!!’ Gabriel gritted his teeth while he faked his happiness in front of everyone.
Meanwhile, Nickolas and Camilla sighed in relief.
At last, their plan went without any mishap.
More than them, the people behind the screens are working hard. Remus, his team, Harry’s tech team, Layla’s best hackers….
Without them, this shouldn’t have happened in a smooth way…
Meanwhile, on the other side, Diego is the second person who got more affected after his father.
He is almost on the verge of tears that he right away stormed out of the hall, with worried Eliina following him after. He don’t want other’s to see him crying…
His departure is the first movement after the video have turned off and, it slowly brou-ght other’s back from their reverie.
“What will happen now?” a person spoke out loud.
He is Camilla’s maternal grandfather.
He is worried that Camilla’s heart will be broken now. As Sabrina returned, would she claim her fiance back???
“Nickolas, I am asking you. Will you leave Camilla as Sabrina will be back to claim her position as Princess and the next one in line after her father??” he asked, heedless of whether this is the right time or not.
For him, nothing is more important than his granddaughter.
And, when everyone heard his question, they started whispering among themselves, really curious to know what might happen to this couple who are actually celebrating their anniversary now.
Even Gabriel turned to Nickolas, waiting for his answer.
“No. I am not going to change my opinion. I love Camilla, I truly love her. Yes, I was once engaged to Sabrina and loved her, but it’s in the past”
“What I realised later is that, I only admired Sabrina and mistook it as love. Only after spending time with Camilla, I have un-derstood how true love feels like” he announced.
He kneels on one of his knees, in a proposing gesture.
While everyone looked at him, astonished, he took out the ring and proposed Camilla for the marriage.
Which, Camilla happily agreed.
However, no one would have noticed the pain she is holding on to.
If only his words would have been real and whole hearted and if only this proposal is real rather than a part of the plan, she would have been the happiest girl alive.
This proposal is just a part of a plan to make Gabriel trust Nickolas and depend on him.
“I am not going to let my soon to be father in law feel betrayed. He supported me in my lowest and helped me move on from my sister and Sabrina’s so called death. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have been here” Nickolas announced, bowing slightly to Gabriel, flattering him.
And, soon, others started asking him questions about various things and most of those, he has successfully diverted. However, some of the questions, he was left with no choice but to lie, which, unfortunately, strengthened Brina’s story.
