EPISODE 82
The next morning…
After the breakfast, everyone got ready to go back. Even King Edgar and Queen Elora are off to the Kingdom, leaving Brina, Louis, Will and Brina’s parents.
As everyone had been allotted something to do, they got busy in preparing for the final battle.
Brina wanted to go back to the Kingdom but others insisted on staying behind. Her stomach started showing off the little and more concerning factor here is her pregnancy sickness. Nausea, excess sensitivity to sounds and smell….
“Dear, you just got reunited with your parents and this is also the rightful time for you to take some rest.” King Edgar said as he patted his daughter in law’s head.
“Listen to him, dear. When everything is prepared and it’s time to move further in your plan, you will get busy and stressed. And, in order to find strength to do it, you need some more rest” Queen Elora said.
“But, mom, how can I-” she got interjected when Katherine took her aunt’s side.
“If we really need your help, we will call you back, Brina. For now, you have many people helping you and we could do our best. So, rest a-ssured take care of my godchildren first” Katherine chided her friend.
“Love, listen to them. The last thing you want now is to get Rhianna prescribe you another month of bed rest and strict food diet” Louis warned her. “If you really want to go throu-ghthat phase again, I will go and pack our bags and let’s go back to the Kingdom” he added.
And, when she heard his warning, Brina immediately sealed her mouth.
Bed rest??
Never again! She doesn’t want Louis to treat her like a little baby and nag about everything. She doesn’t want to see the overprotective shade of her husband again.
That’s too overbearing.
When Louis saw his wife’s obedience, he chuckled and pec-ked her li-ps. “Good girl” for which Brina could only pout as she continued clinging to his arms.
Meanwhile, James on one side is looking at them with amusement.
Someone actually made Sabrina to cave in!! That too, just with one sentence!!
Ahhhh….
It’s a miracle.
As someone who knows about Sabrina, he is aware of how she is…
She was very stubborn and never listened to others.
Sabrina has really changed a lot…
Or, Edward is the only one who could tame her….
While James was amused and surprised, Nick was jealous.
How come Sabrina is so different while she is with Edward compared to their time together.
Did she ever love him??
Nickolas just sighed and ma-ssaged his head.
“Cam, let’s go now. Otherwise, your father might get suspicious” Nickolas said as he approached his ‘fiancée’.
Camilla who was talking with Remus enthusiastically, nodded her head in un-derstanding.
“I will call brother Griffin and James as well” she said and walked away.
And, when Nick and Remus were the only people standing, Remus just walked away as if Nickolas was invisible.
His Sabrina didn’t talk with him.
No one from her side talked to him…
His, once upon a time best friend, Remus, continued avoiding him while others still suspect him.
“My life is bound to be like this” he whispered to himself and looked at Brina last time.
She is now bidding farewell to her cousins, Camilla and Griffin. Everyone looked so blissful and cheerful, except him.
“You remember your task, right?” Louis asked as he walked to Nickolas who was actually staring at his wife.
For one second, Louis almost felt his hands move to gouge his eyes out. However, as they still have some work to squee-zefrom him, Louis controlled that urge.
“Yeah. Tell Gabriel that Layla and her team agreed to join the hands with them. Later, help her to let her for-ces into the kingdom” Nickolas said.
“I know what I am doing and I have been doing this for years. I don’t want someone else to remind me about it” he scoffed.
Louis smi-rked, his eyes cold and his aura very terrifying.
“If you would have known that well about what you were doing, you wouldn’t have become a puppet in Gabriel’s hand and helped that Bastard too try to kill my life” he scoffed.
“And, I am not reminding you, Mr. Nickolas, I am warning you not to get side tracked like before. This time, you wouldn’t be having a second chance if you make the same mistake. I will personally chop you and feed my sharks” Louis warned, his voice so dominative and overbearing.
With that terrifying aura, surrounding him, Nickolas couldn’t bring himself to reply. He just gulped down and walked away.
“Layla, I want you to keep a close eye on him. One wrong move, he is dead in KY hands” Louis said to his friend who just approached him.
And, after saying that, he walked back to his wife who is bidding her farewell to Harry, Remus and Rhianna.
As soon as he approached them, he morphed back into a jovial and caring husband.
Layla just smiled as she looked at her best friend. ‘His protectiveness towards his wife reminds me of my boyfriend. Ishhh… ‘ she thought.
…..
Later, everyone went back and it was only Louis, Brina and her family.
“You guys haven’t had any private time for a few weeks. I will take care of Will for these few days and why don’t you both have some quality time?” Brina’s father George asked after the dinner time.
Brina is about to go and spend time with Will but Louis was reluctant to let go of her. These few days, they were surrounded by many people and they ba-rely got time.
“Dad, there is no-” she got interjected when her father chuckled, seeing her red face.
“Babe, I agree with dad. I am hungry for you” Louis said, making Brina speechless.
“What?? Aren’t you having your full every night” Brina asked, totally forgetting that her father is also there with them.
“I am insatiable” Louis said and Brina rolled her eyes. However, she blus-hed when she realized that her father is still sitting with them.
She couldn’t help but bury her face in her hands. What an embarra-ssment!!
That’s her father!
Her father just chuckled. “I didn’t listen to anything. You guys can continue this conversation” he said.
“There was a small lake house at the end of the town. I got it built just like our vacation home during your childhood. I wanted it to be a memorial of you and Seth.” he said, sighing.
Remembering his son made him sad.
However, he didn’t show it in front of Brina.
“You guys can take some days vacation here and refresh your minds,” he added.
When Louis heard that it resembled the vacation house of Brina’s childhood, he got excited.

Meanwhile…
In Kingdom Wentris…
Nickolas, Camilla, Griffin returned to the Royal palace.
And, as soon as they returned, they went to visit Gabriel, Camilla and Griffin’s father.
As he had mild heart stro-ke, he was still taking some rest and had handed over the reins temporarily to Nickolas and Griffin.
“Did that un-derworld gang from the US agree to work with us?” Gabriel asked.
“Layla accepted after some persuasion. However, she has some conditions” Nickolas said.
“Conditions? Go on, proceed” Gabriel told him.
“She wanted to take over the base of her enemies which is still un-der us even after their fall out.” Nickolas said.
“She wants to start her new base in our Kingdom?” he asked, not very surprised.
“Yes. Although she was out for revenge to avenge her boyfriend’s death, as a boss of a powerful un-derworld faction she is determined to expand her power” Nickolas said.
“So, have you agreed?” Gabriel asked.
“We don’t have other options, dad. We lost our hold on Kingdom Philion after Remus and his brother made a special attack. We want someone powerful to guard our forts here before we could gather up the power again” Griffin said.
“And, how are those procedures going on? Found any fastest way to reinfor-ce our power?” Gabriel asked.
“Like usual, James is with us. With Layla helping us, we can find one or other way to get back to normal. However, in order to do that successfully we need Layla to work with us. Her people are powerful and hold more authority” Nick said.
“Fine. Tell her that we accept her terms” Gabriel said.
“You can go now, I need to rest,” he added, waving them off.
The trio left the infirmary quarters and walked back to their respective chambers.

Meanwhile..
Gabriel sat on his bed, thinking about something that’s bothering him for a week.
How could they fail to notice Remus and his brother gathering troops and allies?
Did, someone else helped him from behind the screens. Someone who is well experienced and well aware of everything that happened!
More importantly, how did they miss such a huge thing?
It is as if someone did this intentionally.
“My lord, you called for me?” a man walked inside as he bowed a little.
“Did you check on what I asked?” Gabriel asked.
“Yes, my lord. Some people have actually turned into moles and helped Remus to attack our people. However, your future son in law, the second master, has taken care of them” he said.
Nickolas was so cautious of everything he did. He didn’t forget to tie any loose ends.
As soon as Remus and his people took over their Kingdom back, Nickolas figured out that Gabriel would ask some other person to check on it.
So, he framed some of the loyal people of Gabriel in it, tortured them to death and announced that they are the traitors.
He didn’t let any loose ends point him out.
“Oh. Nick is indeed fast” Gabriel smiled.
He would never doubt Nickolas because Nickolas gained his trust and loyalty over all these years. He did so many sins just to make Gabriel trust him completely.
And, this could be a perfect lesson to Gabriel who backstabbed his brother’s family.
“And, did you find out who was helping Remus and his people?” Gabriel asked.
“No, my lord. Not yet. But, we are sure someone powerful is backing them up. But, they were cautious, so it would take us time to find out” that person said.
Gabriel nodded his head. “Find out fast. and also get someone to keep an eye on Layla and their people.” he said, before waving him off.
A few days pa-ssed by…
Meanwhile, Layla’s people took over the base of their old enemies who were defeated.
As soon as her people stepped into the Kingdom Wentris, they made sure to cut all their ties with anyone from Brina’s side.
They would secretly contact them very cautiously but, mostly they would avoid doing so.
They don’t have any further orders yet.
….
Meanwhile..
Eliina started missing her boyfriend a lot.
Whenever they are at university, they are very close, almost inseparable. But as soon as they go back to their homes, he would become totally distant.
However, whenever she saw her brothers and their wife’s, all lovey dovey, she would miss him too much.
Today, her love sickness reached the peaks because it’s their anniversary. Just a year back, he confessed his love for her.
But today, he didn’t even message her.
Not even a message.
‘Diego, if you meet me today we would be celebrating our next anniversary or else, today would be the day I break up with you’ she sent him a message by hacking his phone.
His phone would hang and this message would continue popping up till he replied to it.
She is so hurt and sad.
She wants a lovely boyfriend who cares for her just like how her brothers care for their wife’s. How her father doted on her mother.
Diego would dote on her, pamper her and care for her. However, it is permitted at their academy. Once they step out, he would act like she is a stranger.
Eliina wiped her tears away and she stubbornly said to herself, “Let’s see how much you love me, Diego.”
…..
Meanwhile…
Diego was in his training room, training with others and his brother Griffin.
Camilla, his sister, is sitting at one side, while Nickolas is helping her to ease her sprained leg.
Four of them are training.
It is their morning routine…even when Sabrina, Seth were alive. They train hard…
When Nick, Griffin and Camilla found their roles in the last phase, they realized that they needed to be more agile and ready to fight and protect themselves.
“Are we not going to tell him that Sabrina is alive?” Nickolas asked Camilla, referring to her younger brother Diego.
“We better don’t. He is extremely close to Dad and he is being watched by him” she whispered to Nickolas…
“Yes, I noticed that. But, why is he being watched? Is it because he is the next in line for the throne?” Nickolas asked.
After Sabrina and Will are ‘dead’ and Griffin said he doesn’t want the throne. He is never intrested in permitting himself to these boring, scheming politicals.
In short he is like current ‘Brina’ who once wanted simple life. Her determination to have a simple life came from listening to Griffin talking about the fantasies of simple life.
So, back to point, Diego is the next in line.
Camilla was out of the competition because the noble families and other people in the Royal family felt she wasn’t capable of it.
She is too sen-sitive and kind to become the next for throne..
Sabrina is another case. She is extremely capable to rule, so she was in the line. But, Camilla was not like Sabrina and they also have the males in the Royal family, capable of becoming the next successor.
