Amaya’s pov
I slowly opened my eyes and I looked around to
find myself in an empty room.I was tied to a
chair and gagged.
What I’m I doing here
I tried to free myself from the chair but it was
no use
“Hey just stay still”.A guy said approaching me
and ungagged me
“Help!!!”.I yelled immediately and I received a
slap from him
“Don’t ever try that”.He yelled
“Please rele-ase me”.I begged and he scoffed
“And why would I do that?”.He asked and I kept
quiet
“Has she woken up?”.I heard a familiar voice and
looked up to see Blair
“Yes ma’am”.The guy replied and moved back
“Y..you?”.I asked in shock
“Yes,me”.She replied sm-irking
“Please rele-ase me”.I begged and she squ-atted
at my front
“And why should I?”.She asked
“I have a family”.I said and she smiled
“Why didn’t you think of that before snatching my
boyfriend”
“I didn’t snatch him.we are not even dating.I’m
just working for them”
“Then why did the both of you ki-ss yourselves in
front of me,don’t you know it hurts”
“I know it hurts,u totally get it and I didn’t ki-ss
him.he was the one that ki-ssed me”.
“Why couldn’t you push him when he ki-ssed you
and you are not dating?”.She asked and I
couldn’t say anything
“See,you can’t say anything.Dax,wrap the bomb
around her”.She said standing up and I shook in
fear
“B..bomb?”.I asked in fear and I didn’t know
when tears start trickling down my face.The guy
walked up to me and wrapped a bomb around my
body with a cellotape.
“Please don’t do this”.I said crying as I tried to
free myself
“You only have thirty minutes and you’ll be
gone”.She said and I cried more
“Please,d..don’t do this.Help me!!”.I yelled as she
smi-rked
“This place is sound proofed,no one can here
you.Good bye maid”.She said waving her hand
and left with the guy
“No,no,no,someone please help me,please help
me.I don’t wanna die,I can’t leave my
family,someone please help me!!”.I yelled as I
cried profusely trying to free myself.A minute
pas-sed,two,three,five,six,seven,ten,fifteen
minutes pas-sed and I was still there,crying and
shouting for help
.
Kylan’s pov
I became suspicious when Maya didn’t arrive
soon and I suspected Blair
“Guys,I nee-d to go out.I’ll be back soon”.I said
“Okay”.Dylan said and I went to my car
“Locate Maya”.I told my GPS and it scanned.I
followed the map and stopped my car at a
building,an uncompleted building
I knew something was not right
I got down from my car and followed the map on
my phone which leads to an empty room.I saw
Maya crying and struggling to free herself from a
bomb
A bomb?
“Maya”.I yelled and ran to her
“Kylan.I have a bomb on my body.please remove
it”.She cried and I squ-atted in front of her
“Just calm down okay?”.I said and she nodded
her head,crying.I looked at the bomb and it
reminded five minutes
“Hurry up kylan,please”.She yelled crying and I
was just looking at the bomb
How do I disalarm this bomb
Two minutes pas-sed,three,four,ten
seconds,twenty,thirty seconds pas-sed and before
I knew it,I disalarmed the bomb
I untied her and she hu-gged me ti-ght
immediately,crying
“It’s alright now,you are safe”.I said stro-king her
hair as she kept crying

I helped her out of the building and we entered
my car
“Who did this to you?”.I asked
“Blair”
“Blair?”.I asked in surprise
“Yes,she did that because she thought I snatched
you from her”.She said
“That girl is nut”
“She isn’t.she felt jealous and I un-derstood her
feelings”.She said
“That girl is gonna end up in jail”.I said in anger
“No,don’t”
“She’s gonna come back for you”
“Don’t worry and thank you,for a second in
there,I thought I was gonna leave my
family.but,wait,how did you know I was in
trouble”.She asked
“I knew Blair was up to something but I didn’t
know she could go to the extent of killing
someone”.I said
“Thank you kylan.I owe you one”.She said and I
started the car
We got to my house and I parked my car in the
garage.I turned to look at Maya and she was
already asleep.I chuckled and got down from the
car.I went to the other side and carried her in
my arms.I went into the house and went straight
to her room.I gently placed her on her bed and
used her blanket to cover her
“Thank you kylan”.She muttered in her sleep and
I chuckled before heading outside
“Why are you coming out from Maya’s
room”.Ryan asked with anger in his tone and i
ignored him.I was about to leave when he
stopped me
“I asked you a question”.He said
“Please Ryan,I’m not in the mood of arguing”
“Answer the damn question”.He yelled but I
didn’t say anything
“Do you like her?”.He asked
“Yes I do like her,infact I love her”.I replied
immediately and went upstairs

Amaya’s pov
I sluggishly got down from my bed and went into
the bathroom to do the necessary things.I got
out of the bathroom and put on a cloth as I went
downstairs to the kitchen.I prepared breakfast
and served it in the table as others came
downstairs to the dinning room
“Good morning Aunt Maya”.Miyah greeted as she
took her seat
“Morning Kiddo,how was your night?”.I asked as I
pushed her food towards her
“It was great,how was yours?”
“It was fine,thank you.eat up”.I said and looked
at the boys
“Morning”.I greeted and went into the kitchen.I
took my food and sat beside Miyah
“Why are you sitting here?”.Dylan asked and I
rolled my eyes
Another day with another trouble
“Look,I’m just sitting here to eat,not to make
trouble”.I said and began eating
“You are just a maid,maids don’t seat with us to
eat”.He replied harshly and I stood up in anger
“Please,this is a cool morning,I don’t wanna lose
my temper.If you don’t want me to seat with
you,just say it and I’ll leave”
“Leave”.He said immediately and I angrily picked
my food and stormed to my room
If it isn’t for Miyah,I would have done something
else.He’s lucky today
I sat on my bed and looked at the food
I’ve even lost my appetite
I signed in frustration and laid flat on my bed.I
remembered the incident about yesterday and I
didn’t know when water start trickling my
cheeks.If it hadn’t been for Kylan,I would have
been dead by now and leave my family.About
Blair,I do have plans for her,I can’t just let her go
Scot free,she’s gonna pay for what she did
.
Ryan’s pov
I got to the front of Maya’s room and knocked on
her door
“It’s opened”.I heard her voice from inside and I
went in
“Hi”.I said
“Hi”
“Where did you go yesterday?”.I asked
“I went to visit my mom,why did you ask?”.She
asked
“I saw Kylan coming out of your room last night”
“Oh,that.He just helped me with something in my
room”
“What is it?”.I asked
“Why did you want to know?”.
“Nothing.be down in five minutes,we are going
out”
“Where to?”.She asked before I walked out
“To the mall”.I replied
“Why the mall?”
“We have a concert next week and we have to
get some things so get prepared and be down in
five minutes”.I said and went out
She came downstairs after three minutes and we
went to our van.We got to the mall and got down
as people started screaming.I looked at Maya
and she was covering her ear as I
chuckled.People ran to us,asking for our
signatures which we gave.we made our way into
the mall and ordered the owner to send everyone
out
“Why can’t you guys get a bodyguard?”.Maya
aaked in annoyance
“Why?”.I asked
“Well people are too noisy”.She replied
“You can be our bodyguard”.Dylan said
“I can’t,I’m a lady”
“Then why did you ask when you can’t even be
our bodyguard”.Dylan said and she scoffed
“Please get what you want to get and let’s go
home”.She said and we began picking

“Thank goodness we are already home”.Maya
sighed as she slumped on a couch
“Go prepare lunch”.Dylan said before heading
upstairs
“Is that guy really serious?”.She asked and I
shrugged my shoulders
“I’m really tired right now and he’s asking me to
go prepare lunch?”.She asked
“Please prepare lunch,I’m really famished”.
“Not you too”.She said sadly
“Please”.I said and went upstairs

Amaya’s pov
I went into the kitchen and prepared lunch
“Lunch is served”.I yle as everyone came to the
dinning room.They all took their seat and I sat
with them
“I’ll be going out later today”.I announced but
none of them replied
“Okay”.I said and stood up
“I’ll be going now”.I said and went upstairs to
pick my bag before heading outside.I took a cab
to Blair’s company and paid the driver after
getting down.I stared at the building do

“Please I’m looking for Miss Blair’s office” I said
to a woman and she directed me to her office
“Thank you”.I said and followed her direction.I
stooped at the front of a door and knocked
“Come in”.I heard Blair’s voice from inside and I
opened the door.I stepped into her office and
she stood up immediately
“Y..you?,how come you aren’t dead?”.She yelled
and I smiled
“I can’t die now but be careful because you
might be the one that will die”
“W..what,how dare you threaten me?”.She yelled
and i chuckled
“I’m not threatening you,I’m warning you”
“Security!!”.She called
“No nee-d for that.I can walk out myself or better
still catwalk.Just watch your back girl”.I said and

Amaya’s pov
I walked out of Blair’s office in anger and went
home
“Where are you coming from?”.Kylan asked as I
stepped into the house
“You don’t have to know”.I replied in annoyance
“Why?”.He asked immediately
“Oh you are asking why now,when I was telling
you guys I was going out,did you guys reply,now
you are asking me where I’m coming
from.look,I’m really upset now so don’t add more
to it”.I said and went up the stairs to meet
another annoying person.I Gr0-ned in frustration
and he smi-rked
“I can see you are angry right now”.Dylan said
“Yes,I am so please don’t disturb me”
“And what if I do?”.He asked and I chuckled
“You wouldn’t wanna know what will happen to
you”.I said and he moved closer to me.Before I
could do anything,he snatched the ne-cklace on
ne-ck and ran downstairs
“Dylan,give that back”.I yelled as I ran after him
“Come get it”.He shouted and I kept running
after him
“What’s going on?”.Ryan asked as he came into
the house and I stooped
“Please tell Dylan to give me back my ne-cklace”
“Dylan please give her her ne-cklace”.Ryan said
“Tell her to come get it”.Dylan said
“I’ll do anything just give me my ne-cklace” I
pleaded
“Anything?”.He asked
“Yes” I replied
“Firstly,go on your knees”.He said and I went on
my knees immediately
“Good girl,second,don’t call me Dylan,always call
me boss Dylan”
“Yes”.I said still on my knees
“Good,now say it”
“Boss Dylan”.I said and he smiled
“That’s better.Thirdly..erm,I’ll think of the
remaining later.You can have it”.He said and
stretched it to me.I was about to take it when he
je-rked his hand and I looked at him
“I’ve done what you asked me to do”
“I know but I want this to be more fun”.He said
and threw the ne-cklace to God knows where
“No!!!!”.I yelled and stood up immediately
“What have you done?”.I yelled and was about to
pounce on him when someone held me
“Let go of me,that guy nee-ds to be taught a
lesson”.I yelled as I tried to free myself from the
person’s grip.Dylan brou-ght out his tongue in a
mocking way and I became more angry
“You know,you are stupid,if you know how that
ne-cklace means to me, you wouldn’t throw it
away like that”.I yelled
“I don’t fu-ck ing care”.He said and went upstairs
“Goodness”.I said and I turned to look at the
person holding me
“Let go”.I said and he released me
“Why are you overreacting”.Kylan asked
“Oh,I’m overreacting now.Okay”.I said and bent
down trying to look for my ne-cklace
That guy is so gonna pay for what he just did

Kylan’s pov
I watched as Maya bent down and she had a
worried look on her face
“Is the ne-cklace that important to you?”.I asked
and she looked at me in anger
“More important than anyone even you”.She said
and continued searching.I decided to help her
look for it when I found it at a corner
“Is this yours?”.I asked picking the ne-cklace
It was a pendant ne-cklace attached with a key
“Yes”.She said happily and came to me
“Please give it to me”.She said stretching her
hand and I took my hand backward
“On one condition”.I said
“Not you again”.She said
“You will have to grant me a wish”
“Name it,anything”.She said immediately
“Be my girlfriend”.I said and her eyes wide-ned in
shock

Amaya’s pov
“Be my girlfriend”.He said and my eyes wide-ned
in shock
“W..what?”
“I said you should be my girlfriend”.He said and
my heart skipped a bit
“Y..your girlfriend?”.I asked
“Yes”
“Why?”
“Yes or no?”.He asked
I can’t date a guy like him but I’ve promised my
dad I would protect the ne-cklace
“Answer”.He said jolting me out of my thoughts
“NO”.I said

“I said no,N.O,no”.I said and left in anger
I’ll have to look for another way to get my
ne-cklace

I went out of my room after some hours and
decided to carry out my plan about getting my
ne-cklace back.I sneaked into Kylan’s and began
searching everywhere when someone came in
and I turned to see Kylan
“Well,who do we have here?”.He asked and
tucked his hand in his pocket
“Please I nee-d my ne-cklace”.I begged
“Just accept my offer and the ne-cklace is yours
again”.He said and I closed my eyes.I felt like
crying but I couldn’t.i don’t even know what to
do.A celebrity is asking to be his girlfriend for
getting my ne-cklace back and I don’t even know
what to do
“I’ll be you girlfriend”.I said opening my eyes and
he smiled
“I’m not satisfied.We have to make
agreement”.He said and brou-ght out a paper.He
signed on it and pas-sed the paper to me
“Damn the paper”.I said and to-re the paper
“I’ve got more”.He said bringing out a paper.We
both signed on it and he gave me my ne-cklace.I
wore it around my ne-ck immediately and felt
complete
“Now that you are my girlfriend,we will have to
make it known to everyone”.He said
“What,why”.I asked in shock
“Nothing,just want it to be known to
everyone”.He said and smiled
Wow,he sure has a cute smile.No Maya,he
doesn’t,he’s fooling you.snap out of it
“I don’t care”.I said and was about to go when
he held my hand.He dragged me closer to
himself and my heart started pounding
“What are you doing?”.I asked looking into his
eyes
“And where are you going?”.He asked
“To my room of course”.I said and he smiled
“Since we are now a couple,we will have to
sleep together in a room”.He said and my eyes
wide-ned in shock
“Why”
“It’s the rule”
“Who made that stupid rule”.I asked in anger
“Me”.He replied and I moved away from him
“You are unbelievable”.I said and was about to
leave when he grabbed my hand.I pushed him
away and he fell on his bed dragging me with
him.He wrapped his hand around my wai-st and
my hand was on his che-st
