Why is it pounding.why does my heart hurt so
much

“Aunt Maya”.I heard a voice as Miyah came into
my room and hu-gged me
“How are you kiddo?”.I asked as I hu-gged her
back
“I’m fine aunt Maya”.She replied as she moved
away from me
“How was school today”.I asked as I bent down
to her height
“It was good but I’m angry aunt Maya”
“Why?”
“You are leaving us”.She said sadly
“W..who told you”.I asked
“Bro Kylan”.She replied
“Please don’t leave”.She said as she wrapped
her hand around my ne-ck,hu-gging me
“Kiddo.I have to leave.I have something to do at
home.But don’t worry,I’ll always visit you”.I said
as I felt her shake her head
“No,I don’t want you to visit me.I want you to
stay”.She said
“I’m sorry Kiddo”
“I won’t leave you until you tell me you are no
longer leaving us”.She said as I sighed
“Come on kiddo”.I said as tried removing her
hand but she ti-ghtened her grip.Kylan appeared
at our front and he bent down
“Come on Miyah.Let aunt Maya go.let me talk to
her”.He said
“No.I’m not gonna rele-ase her until she says she
no longer leaving us”.Miyah replied
“Come on now.let me talk to her”.Kylan said as
she dragged Miyah away
“I’ll talk to aunt Maya okay,don’t worry”.Kylan
said to Miyah
“Okay”.She said and left my room
“Please don’t go”.He said as we both stood up
“I have to.And I still have a week to stay here,so
you don’t have to worry”.I said
“Think about Miyah.she’s gonna be hurt if you
leave her”
“I know but for the next one week I’m gonna
spend here.I’m gonna let here enjoy my
company”.I said
“And that will make her miss you more”.He said
“No it won’t”.I replied
“Please aunt Miyah.For my sake”.Miyah said as
she came to hu-g me and I looked at Kylan
“Please”.He mouthed to me
“erm,Miyah”.I called
“Hmm?” She asked
“Look kiddo,let’s do this.I’ll continue working here
but I won’t live here.Is that okay?”.I asked as
she shaked her head
“No,I don’t want that.I want you to live with
us”.She said
“Miyah,I’ve told you to go”.Kylan said
“Okay,I’ll accept what you said before”.Miyah
said
“Okay.So we are cool?”.I asked
“Yes”.She said
“Thank you aunt Maya” She said
“You are welcome Kiddo”.I said as she ran out
of the house
“Are you for real?.You’ll still work here?”.Kylan
asked
“No.I just told her that so she would not get
hurt”.I said
“But lying to her is not the best solution.If she
realized that you lied to her,she won’t forgive
you”
“She won’t find out”.I said
“If that’s what you want,i won’t stop you”.He
said in anger
“Yes.That’s what I want”.I replied
“Can’t you even think about me?”.He asked
“What about you?”.I asked
“Don’t you know I’m gonna be hurt?,infact I’m
already hurt just hearing that you are
quitting”.He said as i sighted tears in his eyes
“You don’t have to say that because I know that
if I’m gone,your feelings for me will disappear
and you’ll move on with your life”.I said
“I can’t”.He said immediately
“Don’t you get me.I don’t think I can move on
without you”.He said as I stared at him
“Out concert is next tomorrow,so get
prepared”.He told me
“All right”.I said as he left my room

Kylan’s pov
NEXT TWO DAYS
THE CONCERT
“Guys let’s go.We are running late”.I yelled from
downstairs as my brothers rushed down the
stairs
“Sorry.Let’s get going”.Dylan said as we all went
outside.Maya was busy loading our things inside
the van and when she was throu-gh,we all
entered the van and took off

We got to the venue and got down from our van
as people started screaming
“Ahhhhh,it’s them.It’s the K3 Boys”
“They are so cute”
“They are charming”
“They are handsome”
“You are the best K3 Boys”
“You guys are the best”.Was the comments we
got from our fans as we entered the hall well
with the aid of some bodyguards.Maya sat
among the audience as my brothers and I went
on stage
“We love you guys”.People screamed as I smiled
at them.Some girls pas-sed out as I blew ki-sses
to them
“Hello guys”.Dylan said as they continued
screaming
“We also love you guys.The song we are about
to sing is about a special person.The person is
just like a sister to us and I hope the person
knows who she is”.Dylan said
“And 1,2,3”.Ryan said as we began singing and
dancing

“That was super great”.I said as we all got into
our van
“Yeah,you guys rock”.Cole said as I smiled
“Thanks bro”.Ryan said
“So,celeBr@tion?”.Cole asked
“Of course”.Dylan replied
“Where are we heading to”.Maya asked
“To a special place”.Ryan replied
“Was the song you guys sang for me?”.Maya
asked and we all nodded our heads
“Really”.She asked
“Yes”.Dylan replied
“Thanks guys.You are the best”.She said
“Since we are the best,can you reconsider your
decision”.Ryan asked
“No.I’ve made up my mind”.Maya said
“Okay.Just three days left”.I said and sighned

We got to the place and all got down
“Wow,this place is amazing”.Maya said as we
stepped into the building
“Yeah,it sure is”.I said as we all sat down.A
waiter came to us and took our order
“Thank you”.Maya told the waiter as he served
us.We all began eating after the waiter left
“This is really delicious”.Maya M0-ned as I
smiled
We all finished eating and called the waiter to
come clear the table
“Thanks guys.I really appreciate what you guys
did today.Thank you”.Maya said
“You are welcome”.Dylan said
“we’ll go get drinks”.Cole said as he held Ryan
and Dylan’s hand,dragging them.I looked at Maya
and I caught her staring at me as she quickly
removed her face
“So…”
“I’m travelling next week”.She said immediately
“What?”
“I’m travelling next week”.She replied
“Where to?”.I asked
“To Germany”.She replied and i was about to
talk when her phone buzzed
“Please excuse me”.She said and I nodded as
she picked her phone
“Hello?”.She said over the phone
“Yes”
“What?!!!”.She shouted over the phone as it fell
to the floor
“What’s wrong?”.I asked
“m..my mom.She..she’s dead”.She said

Kylan’s pov
“M..my mom.She..she’s dead”.She said
“What?!!,dead?”.I asked
“I nee-d to go home now.I nee-d to go see her,she
can’t be dead”.She said as she stood up
“Wait,let me drop you off”.I said standing up and
we both entered my car.
I drove to her house and she immediately got
down as I trailed behind her.She ran into her
house and I saw some people there
“Where’s my mom?,where is she?”.She asked as
a man came to hu-g her
“I’m sorry Maya”.The man said
“Why,why are you sorry uncle”.She asked
“I’m sorry Maya”.He said as she moved away
from him
“Please don’t tell me that.Where’s my
mom?”.She asked
“In her room”.Her uncle replied as she ran to her
mom’s room.Her uncle turned to me
“Who are you?”.He asked
“erm,Maya’s friend”.I replied
“Does she work for you?”.He asked
“Yes”.I replied as he sat on a couch.When he
didn’t aske any question,I went to Maya’s mom
room and met Maya crying on her mom
“Please mom,don’t leave us,you can’t leave us
too”.She said crying as I walked to her,bent
down and patted her back
“It’s okay Maya”.I said as she je-rked my hand
away
“It’s not okay My mom is dead”.She said in tears
as two kids ran into the room
“Mom.Big sis,what happened to mom”.A boy
asked as the girl went to Maya’s mom
“erm,mom is sleeping okay”.She said
“But why are you crying”.The boy asked
“Nothing.Something entered my eyes”.She said
“You guys should go meet your uncle”.She said
as the kids went out of the room.She turned to
her mom and began crying again.Some people
came inside and took her mom outside
“Please don’t take her”.She yelled as I held her
to prevent her from following them
“Calm down Maya”.I said
“There are taking my mom,they can’t take
her,she isn’t dead,she can’t leave us”.She yelled
as I turned her to me and hu-gged her
“No”.She said as she moved away from me
“Please stop them.I have to see my mom.They
can’t take her away without my permission”.She
said trying to free herself from me as I dragged
her closer to me.
“She’s gone Maya”.I said hu-gging her as she
cried on my che-st

I eventually put Maya to sleep as I stro-ked her
back
“Thank you my son”.I heard a voice and turned
my head to see Maya’s uncle
“Oh,thank you sir”.I said as I stood up
“I’ll take care of her from here”.He said
“Okay sir.Please help to tell her that it’s not
compulsory for her to come to work
tomorrow.She can take some months off”.I said
“Okay,my son.Take care”.He replied
“Bye sir”.I said as I went out of their house
I got home and met Dylan in the living room
“Where did you and Maya go?”.He asked
“To her house”.I replied sitting on a couch
“Why?”.He asked
“Her mom is dead”.I replied
“Dead?,how,what killed her?”.He asked
“I don’t know.I really feel sorry for her”.I said
“So where is she now”.He asked
“She’s at her house.Her uncle is with her”.I
replied
“Okay.I hopes she gets better”.He said
“I’ll be upstairs”.He said
“Okay”.I said as he went upstairs

Amaya’s pov
I woke up next morning and stood up from my
bed as I walked to my bathroom.I did all the
necessary things and went to the kitchen
“Good morning mom”.I said as I saw mom in
kitchen
‘Morning my dear,how was your night”.She asked
“It was fine mom”.I replied
“Good.I’m cooking breakfast,go wake your
siblings”.She said
“Mom?”.I said as I closed my eyes.I opened my
eyes back and she wasn’t there
“Mom?,where are you mom”.I asked looking
around
“Mom!!!”.I shouted as my uncle came to meet
me
“Why are you shouting Maya?”.He asked
“Where’s mom uncle?”.I asked looking into his
eyes as he shaked his head
“You nee-d to rest Maya.You’ve gone throu-gha
lot.Go sleep in your room”.He said holding my
arms
“Where’s mom uncle?”.I asked again
“She’s gone”.He replied
“Where to?”.I asked as I remembered what
happened yesterday
“Mom is gone”.I said as tears trickled down my
cheeks
“I’m sorry Maya”.He said
“Mom is gone”.I said as I drop to the floor
“Mom is really gone”.I cried as my uncle came
beside me
“You nee-d to rest Maya”.He said as he helped
me up
“I nee-d to go to work”.I said
“No you can’t.The boy that followed you said you
should stay at home”.My uncle said taking me
upstairs
“Okay”.I replied
“Please rest well”.He said and I nodded my head
“What about Donald and Betty?”.I asked him
“They are in school”.He replied
“Thank you uncle”.I said
“You don’t have to mention it.Just get lots of
rest”.He said as he pec-ked my hair
“I’ll be in the living room if you nee-d me”.He said
“Okay uncle”.I said as he went outside
Why mom.how could you leave us.you didn’t
even inform us.what I’m I gonna do without you
I thought as I cried myself to sleep
