“He…llo?” A warm voice answered back.
Phil blinked his eyes, and quickly looked at the screen.
On it was, Mom, with lots of heart.
“Fu-ck” Phil muttered, and Scarlett laughed lowly.
“Hello ma” He said, quickly and bowed lowly like she was there.
“Yes, Hello. Who…is this?” She asked.
Phil swallowed ha-rd.
“This is Scarlett’s boy-
Scarlett quickly pinched him, and he mo-aned out aloud in pains.
He quickly looked at her, and she arched her brows, shaking her head.
He un-derstood immediately.
“Hello? You there?” Her voice came again. written by sommy pearl f.
“Yes,,, This is Scarlett’s boss”
“Wow! CEO of RM companies!!”
“Yes, Mother” He smiled.
“Mother? You’re calling me mother? A big person like you?” Marie chuckled.
Scarlett smiled and looked down.
“Yes, Mother..”
Marie smiled.
“You remind me of someone I once knew”
Phil smiled.
“Really??”
“Yes…Seriously”
Phil laughed.
“Are you okay though?” Marie asked.
Phil raised his brows.
“Yes. Is there a problem?”
Marie sighed dee-ply.
“I guess you haven’t heard. I called my daughter to tell her the rumors I’ve been hearing. Don’t really know if its just false news though”
Phil slowly sat down close to Scarlett.
“I heard, ,and of course, Everyone knows… and have been saying, your introduction pa-rty got ruined. A bad video got pla-yed instead. If you think its Scarlett’s fault, take my apology”
“No….Its fine. Its not her fault. Someone definitely spiked it, and I’ll find the person at every cost and make sure the person pays. Its a must”
Marie smiled.
“Anyways, Its advisable you don’t check the net. A lots of videos of that night was posted. Like I said before, I only heard this,,, but I didn’t watch it. Not that, I *didn’t* watch it. Rather, I *couldn’t* watch it”
Phil sadly looked down and Scarlett looked up.
“You aren’t gonna ask why?” Marie’s voice broke the silence.
Phil sniffed softly.
“I know the reason, mo..ther” He muttered.
Marie smiled.
“Seems you’ve gotten closer to my Lett. I really hope you treat her well”
“I promise…”
“Thank you, and have a nice day”
“You too, mother” He replied, And Marie giggled, before hanging up.
“I like her, and she seems to like me too” Phil said, handing Scarlett, her phone.
Scarlett smiled, and collected it.
“By the way- Phil paused, and shifted close to her.
Scarlett looked at him.
“Why don’t you want her to know I’m your boyfriend. You aren’t trying to hide me, are you? Cause I’m planning to tell ‘us’ to the whole wide world”
Scarlett laughed.
“I’m not trying to hide you. I’m just trying to avoid questions. @$$uming, you told her, the call wouldn’t have ended now. I trust my mother. Over excitement would have taken its peak on her. When we get back to Korea,,, we’ll visit her, okay”
“Sure. I can’t wait” Phil smiled.
Scarlett smiled back.
*Riiinggggg* It was the telephone.
Scarlett stood up, ready to pick it but Phil stopped her.
“Just rest, okay? I’m also gonna watch the duvet” He winked.
Scarlett blinked and shifted her bo-dy a bit. There was blood stains there.

Phil went to the telephone and picked it up.
“Hello. CEO of RM companies speaking??”
*FEW MINUTES LATER*
Phil sighed dee-ply before dropping the phone down.
He looked at Scarlett, and she could read the sadness in his eyes.
“What’s it? Did anything happen?” She asked.
Phil went close to her, and sat down on the be-d. He sighed again.
“Phil,,, talk to me,,, will you?” Scarlett said.
“Our project won’t be launching again” He said.
“Why?”
“Lots of endorsement and sponsorships are now p-ulling out. Even the br@nch here is suffering loses. It can’t hold anymore. Our project is receiving controversies and backlash as we speak,,, due to what happened yesterday”
Scarlett sighed dee-ply and looked down.
“Hey… Hey babe. It ain’t your fault, okay” Phil said, and raised her face up.
“This is even a blessing for me” He smiled.
“Blessing? How?” She arched her brows.
“This is not a business trip anymore. Its more like a lover trip. Just between us. We can even have that dinner date here, as you wished on your bucket list” He smiled.
Scarlett smiled as well.
“I’ll start by se-nding the others back to Korea. Then,,, in 2 days time,, we’ll go back home. What do you think?”
“Nice…” She nodded.
“By the way,,, Have you seen Oscar?” Phil muttered.

Oscar turned his ne-ck fast. The knife was stabbe-d on the wall, that it almost pene-trated in it, fully.
Trina slowly went down, crying.
“I really pitied her. She never deserves this sh!t” Trina hiccu-pp-ed.
Oscar fell down on his bu-tt, and kept his face on his knees.
Trina slowly took her eyes to him.
“Oscar??” She called.
He looked at her.
“I take back all my words about you. I mean everything. Let’s stop. I’m gonna stop too. Its over between us”
Oscar blinked, and tears slid down his eyes.
“There was nothing between us at the first place”
“Good to hear that. I’m leaving Paris as soon as possible. Leave my room, or I won’t think twice before taking the knife, from the wall and stabbing it twice on your che-st”
Oscar sighed dee-ply, and stood up.
He bowed before leaving.

“Wait,,, Trina left already? Without telling me?” Phil asked.
Oscar just nodded.
Phil sighed, twitched his brows, and looked at the rest.
Scarlett stood by his side.
“So, everyone. I’m sure you must have been hearing about our project controversial issues. Because of this, there’s gonna be a delay in the launching… So,,, I’m sorry to say this,,, but you all will have to go back to Korea” Phil informed.
Isaac adjusted his gl@$$es, and raised his hand.
“Yes, Isaac?” Phil said.
“When will we leaving?”
“If possible, now. Please,, start packing your things. I’ll get a private jet, which would take you back safely and sound”
Everyone clapped.
LX raised his hand and all eyes were on him.
“Is anyone staying back here?”
Phil blinked and exchanged glances with Scarlett.
“Yes” Phil answered.
“Who?” Felicia asked, coldly.
“I and Scarlett” He replied.
There was murmuring now on the air.
“In case you don’t know,, I and Scarlett are now dating” Phil smiled, and Scarlett looked down, with a wide smile.
Isaac, Bruce and Oscar clapped with happiness, while Felicia just glared, with her arms told.
LX just scoffed.
“I’ll take my leave first. Coming here was a waste of time” He said, and left.
Scarlett sighed dee-ply.
“LX, just un-derstand for crying out loud, and stop behaving immature” She thought.
“I’m gonna talk to him” Phil said.
“Don’t go. I know what he nee-ds right now. All he nee-ds is some peace and quiet” Scarlett adviced.
“But he looks sad, angry and disappointed”
“And I know why he feels that way, trust me. Even if he nee-ds someone to talk to,,, Its me”
“Why? Did something happen between you two”
“I’ll explain later” Scarlett said, and Phil nodded.
THAT SAME DAY, AT NIGHT**
THE STREET**
“Say ah” Scarlett giggled.
“Ah” Phil said, and Scarlett dug the street food into his mouth.
“Yum. Yum. Yum. So sweet” He smiled.
Scarlett smiled and ate the last peice.
“Ma’am, We’ll take another roll” Phil said to the stall woman, who smiled.
He said it, in French.
The woman gave them and they began to feast on the sweet food.
“Babe,,, ice cream…” Scarlett said.
Phil blus-hed and looked at her.
“Me? Babe?”
Scarlett giggled.
“I take that back”
“Don’t you dare. Say it again”
“Make me” Scarlett slowly ran around
“Say it. Lett!!” He grabbe-d her, by the wa-ist.
She laughed ha-rd.
He carried her up, and swirled her around.
“Say it. If you don’t, I won’t stop”
She kept laughing.
“Okay. Babe! Babe!!”
Phil smiled and took her down. They both fell and la-id their backs on the gr@$$.
Scarlett kept her head on his stomach.
“Damn, my eyes” She chuckled.
“Me too” Phil chuckled, holding her close.
“Let’s get ice cream,,,
“Later” Scarlett whispered, shutting her eyes.
AT EIFFEL TOWER, PARIS**
“Take a picture of me. Make sure the tower top shows,,, please!” Scarlett said.
Phil nodded, and took her phone.
She posed sweetly and he cli-cked the bu-tton, taking the picture.
“Cute” Phil smiled.
“Take another” She said, posing in a different style.
Phil took the picture.
“Lovely” He smiled.
“Let me see them” She ran to him.
“Wow. Beautiful. You’re indeed the best boyfriend. A good photographer is what we girls nee-d” She said.
Phil smiled.
“se-nd them to your phone” Scarlett said.
“Let’s do that when we get to the hotel”
“No,,, do it now. We might forget. se-nd it now” She persisted.
“Why are you being so persistent” He chuckled.
“I want you to keep looking at it, especially when you miss me badly” She cooed.
Phil slowly looked at her.
“What? If I miss you, I can just face time ..”
He knew what she meant. He just looked dee-ply into her gl@$$y eyes.
There was silence too.
“Stop thinking like that, please!!!” He suddenly yelled.
“What can I do? We can’t keep pretending like we are gonna stay forever till eternity” Scarlett had tears in her eyes.
“We can’t keep fooling ourselves” She added.
“I don’t want you to die!” Phil shouted, and his eyes bought out tears.
“Can’t you be faithful that nothing bad will happen to you. Do you really want to die?” He asked.
Scarlett stared at him for a while, before she suddenly broke down in tears.
She squ-atted, crying the more.
“Scar-
“I wanna live, Phil. I don’t wanna die. I can’t leave my mum, you…my sister. I don’t wanna just leave. What to do?” She kept crying.
“Help me….” Her voice shook and Phil bent over to her, and hu-gged her close and ti-ght.
