“I’m sorry. Where’s the boss? I nee-d his signature on this do¢v-ments urgently” I added.
“Give it here. I would sign on it myself” He instructed.
Oh no,I have to see Miles today. That’s the only way I can place the spell on him. I thought confused on what to do next.
“Sorry but only the boss’s signature is nee-ded on this. Where’s the boss? I would go get his signature if you don’t mind” I said swiftly.
I think this will work.
“Don’t bother. I will go give it to him myself” Mason said and snatched the files from my hand and upstairs.
“Mason scre-w you” I murmured.
“Did you just curse me” Mason asked as he turned around.
“No I didn’t” I uttered frustratedly and he scoffed.
I guess my plan didn’t work. How about I look around maybe I would cross path with Miles.
“Excuse me, plea-se can I look around” I asked one of the maids who walked pas-s me.
“Alright but don’t get to the attic. It’s restricted for visitors” He warned.
“OK thank you” I said smiling.
What attic? Why is it restricted from visitors? Is there something there that would help me finish Miles off. I thought and head for attic but I pretended to look around the stairs and home design.
I think that’s the attic. I muttered in my mind and head for the door,I was about opening the door when someone tapped me from behind,I almost lost my breath.
” What are you doing here” Mason asked glaring at me.
“Just looking around” I lied with a nervous smile.
“Don’t you think smiling at me this moment looks suspicious. I’m pretty sure the maids told you not to get anywhere close to this place so what are you doing here? Do you have any ill intentions towards Miles” Mason fired not giving me an opportunity to create a lie.
What is he exactly? He’s always cautious and sneaky. What are they hiding. I thought confused.
“What’s going on here” Miles asked as he joined us.
Oh my goodness Miles is finally here. What to do… what to do… I thought confused and suddenly thought of a plan.
MILES POV
Why’s Zoe acting all suspicious,does she have anything un-der her sleeve. I thought confused staring at her and suddenly she coll@psed luckily I caught her before she would fall to the floor.
“Mason what’s going on here? Was she sick when you saw her downstairs” I asked confused.
“I don’t think so… How about we take her to the hospital” Mason suggested.
“Alright” I agreed.
“Miles am allergic to hospitals. I just nee-d a be-d rest” Zoe uttered faintly.
“Miles she’s talking, let’s just s£nd her back to the hostel” Mason suggested.
“I don’t think she would be able to get a proper be-d rest at the hostel” I added.
“Why are you worried about her? It’s so unlike you” Mason uttered confused.
“She might be arrogant and stubborn but she nee-ds my help now” I said and carried her in a bridal style,I took her to one of the guest rooms.
“Miles,do you think you’re doing the right thing” Mason added and I rolled my eyes, ignoring his question.
“Gracy am leaving Zoe in your care. You have to make sure she gets better” I instructed one of my nurses.
“I don’t know if am doing the right thing but I feel like caring for her so I wish you would respect my decision” I said and left the room, Mason followed.
MASON POV
I went after Miles as he left the guest room. I still can’t believe Miles isn’t been cautious about Zoe but he said it himself that Zoe looks suspicious so what’s going on right now.
“Miles we nee-d to talk” I said seriously as I stood infront of him.
“Mason if it’s about Zoe,am not re-ady for that. We will talk about it later” Miles said sluggishly.
“What!” I laughed flabberg@sted.
“OK fine,what do you want to talk about” He asked staring at me.
“Zoe is just your damn as-sistant,is there any nee-d for you to let her stay a minute un-der your roof”I asked seriously.
“It’s getting late,am pretty sure you don’t wanna see me transform here right. The sun is about to set, let’s go. We can’t afford to make any mistakes” Miles instructed and we head for the attic.
Immediately we got into the attic, Miles transformed into a gray wolf. I also transformed into an ash wolf. We both ran around in the attic that was built in a size of a field.
“Owoooo” Miles howled at the window staring at the full moon.
I growled at the sound of someone heading to the attic.
Miles devoured the hvge roasted antelope at the other side of the attic,we fought for the last bite.
When Miles transforms,he usually doesn’t be his normal self. Immediately he becomes a wolf, everyone becomes his enemy. He devours any human or animal he comes across that’s why this attic was built far away from humans reach and it’s a soundproof and the door is made with big chains.
When it’s full moon Miles don’t transform back to human easily, unlike me I can transform into a werewolf very easily and anytime.
I wish I would be able to hold Miles a little longer on the human reign for him to get fully prepared about fighting for the throne. The late Alpha lost the fight for the throne with his sister which took his life,will Miles be able to fight Luna. But it’s time he goes back home, he’s transforming into a wolf and am afraid in the next full moon,he wouldn’t transform into a human.
ZOE POV
I was laying on the be-d but suddenly I felt like my tail was out.
How’s that possible. I thought in my mind confused.
“Excuse me, plea-se can you all leave the room. I would like to be alone at moment” I instructed.
“Alright miss” They chorused and left the room.
I ran to the bathroom and immediately I transformed into a white wolf.
But I have the invisible spell. It’s not yet time for my gene to be visible. What’s going on? And why did I transform into a white wolf. These are the trait of a royal bloodline.
I growled at the sound of a werewolf heading to the room I was.
I transformed back into a human and c@m£ out of the bathroom…

“Excuse you” I said to a young lady that was staring at the be-d I was laying and she turned around.
“Who are you” She asked rudely glaring at me.
“My name is Zoe,am Miles as-sistant” I introduced myself and she stared at me from my head to my toe.
“Where are your manners? How dare you call your big boss by his name and don’t you think it’s getting pretty late so you should get going. You can’t be shameless enough to spend the night at a guy’s house right” She asked obviously belittling me.
“Sorry about that,I would get going now” I uttered and picked up my purse.
“You sound so rude” I murmured.
“Sorry were you referring to me” She asked glaring at me.
Why do people in this building acts so arrogant and cautious. Anyways my work here is done so I don’t mind leaving. I just have to wait for the spell to act up. I muttered in my head with a sm-irk.
AUTHOR’S POV
Zoe left Miles mansion,she tried asking of Miles but all the maids kept telling her, Miles went to visit an important guest so he’s not home.
Mason appeared out from the attic and saw a she-wolf loitering around with this fighting glare in her eyes. They looked at each other for a while and they both bounced on each other as they tried to bite their muzzle.
Suddenly Mason noticed the she-wolf fought like him. They both had the same fighting skills. He stepped backwards and transformed into a human.
“Melissa…” Mason called out not too sure if she was the one but she also transformed back into a human.
“Mason..” She called out surprisingly.
“Yes it’s me, it’s me Mason” Mason said excitedly grinning as he ran into her embr@ce.
“Mason you’re all grown up… I can’t believe you’re with me right now” Melissa said excitedly almost in tears as they broke the hvg.
“You’re looking more gorgeous than I expected” Mason tea-sed and she pinched him.
“Ouch… That hurts” Mason winced jovially.
Miles, Mason and Melissa were known to be the three M in Polatan pack. They trained together when they were little and that’s why Melissa and Mason had same fighting skills.
They were three best friends although Miles gets irritated by Melissa’s clumsiness,she was clumsy because she had feelings for Miles.
“I missed you so much Melissa” Mason uttered cutely as he placed his face on her shoulder.
“You have no idea how happy I was when father said I should come to the human reign to search for both you and Miles”
“But how did you find us” Mason asked curiously.
“At first it was ha-rd but the Alpha always got his strong aura and that lead me to this place. I got to this place,it wasn’t ha-rd being in control” Melissa said with a silly smile.
“Don’t tell me you c@m£ here with your powers” Mason uttered in surprise.
“Father told me not to come with it but I couldn’t. I’m here now so we would protect Miles together. And about that, Miles nee-ds to go back to Polatan,his coronation has been pending for too long so it’s transforming him into a wolf” Melissa explained.
“I suspected something was wrong but you just got here,how did you find out all this” Mason asked curiously.
“It’s appearing at the inner chambers of the Alpha and again Luna knows Miles is alive and am pretty sure she has someone here monitoring Miles,I think Miles life is in danger” Melissa said anxiously.
“It has really been a while Melissa, don’t worry Miles is alright. He can’t just be the supreme lord if he can’t protect himself” Mason said with a smile.
MELISSA POV
“Mason when would Miles be out of there” I asked curiously.
“He won’t be out till two days time… ” Mason replied.
“Oh yeah… I think am forgetting something” I snapped trying to recall what happened when I arrived here.
“Did something happen” Mason asked curiously staring at me.
“I saw a young lady at the guest room and she seem to be someone very rude. She dared to call Miles by his name” I recalled.
“Oh that was Zoe, Miles’s as-sistant” He affirmed.
“I don’t know why but there’s something about that girl I just can’t figure out what it is exactly”
“Did she do anything suspicious? We’re definitely best friends,I also have the feeling something isn’t right about her but Miles just seem to be in support of her being around” Mason protested.
“I’m sure I saw a fur on the be-d but why doesn’t she have the werewolf aura if she’s a wolf” I uttered confused.
“What do you mean by werewolf? Are you trying to say Zoe is a werewolf” He asked curiously.
“I have the feeling but we can’t jump to conclusions without evidence” I added.
“Yeah we shouldn’t… Zoe was born here,she spent all her life here so I don’t think your suspicious are right” Mason disagreed.
“She should pray my suspicions are wrong” I uttered looking away.
She happened to be on my bad side alre-ady. People I dislike from day one I dislike them till the last day. I muttered in my head lost in thought.
ZOE POV
It’s morning alre-ady. I woke up as early as possible so I would get to the office before Miles does and wait for my spell to act up.
I got to the office and met Ariana at her desk putting some makeup on.
“Good morning” I greeted staring at her but she ignored me like I said nothing.
“Why are you early today” She asked rudely.
Where’s that coming from? I muttered in my mind.
“Isn’t it my duty to come to work early before the boss does” I replied politely and she dropped herl-ipstick on the table angrily.
“Did I say anything wrong” I asked confused.
“You’re just a damn intern so why are you trying to get close to the boss” She scolded.
“Sorry but I don’t think am following” I stuttered confused.
“You and I know very well that you don’t like the boss… Remember you dropped a threatening gift card the other day” She said with a wicked smile.
“Em…. Ivy am coming..” I uttered and ran away to the elevator.
“There’s no one there. You can avoid me all you want”Ariana shouted.
“She sure is the ice lady… Phew! she scared the hell out of me. Why is she holding a grudge? It’s not like I threatened her so what’s her deal”I mumbled as I ran to the washroom.
