Lila what’s she hiding? I definitely saw something that day but what was it again. Zoe thought curiously.
If I stay here anylonger. Everyone will know I’m bleeding. If I can’t be Miles’s wife at least I shouldn’t expo-se my imperfections to the whole pack. Lila thought seriously.
“If the wedding isn’t pushing throu-gh anylonger till maybe in seven months time. I’ve got to protect my dignity. Supreme this isn’t right,you’ve got to know that” Lila gro-an ed angrily and walked out of the castle.
“How can she be so rude? She walked out of the Alpha” Kelly hinted.
“Selene should move to the castle. Your position would determined when you put to birth but for now you deserve all the protec-tion possible. Mason, Selene isn’t allowed to leave the castle until she put to birth” Miles instructed.
“Alright supreme” Mason affirmed.

MASON POV
I was in my room thinking on how to look for solutions on the issues at hand, that’s ma-king me worry so much.
“Till when do you plan on avoiding me? Avoiding me won’t solve nothing” Melissa uttered softly as she c@m£ in.
“Melissa can we talk later,I’m a bit lost in something very important and I don’t want to drift from my thoughts. If you don’t mind” I uttered frustratedly pointing at the door.
“What! Mason did you just indirectly tell me to leave. You’ve never told me to leave your room not for once. What’s going on exactly? If you don’t tell me I’m not leaving this place” Melissa said seriously.
“That really won’t work on me” I said tiredly not even looking at her.
“If you don’t tell me what’s going on,I won’t push throu-gh with the wedding” She said seriously.
“What’s that supposed to mean Melissa? You can’t threaten me with our wedding. You know I can’t really risk losing you not for anything”I said swiftly.
“I’m listening. I’m here to comfort you and if you can’t let me do that,I will have to f0rç£ you. Miles thinks we’re made for each other so you should st©p keeping things from me” Melissa emphasized.
“I don’t know if I should tell you this. It’s more complicating than you think and Miles wouldn’t like the idea of me telling you this”
“If you really think it’s something that would hurt Miles, you better start talking. Two heads are better than one” Melissa as-sured.
“The lunar ecli-pse will soon appear and Miles have complications” I mentioned nervously.
“Complications? What kind of complications” She asked curiously.
“He’s going to have side effects because of the dangerous syrup he took before his coronation. If his powers get drenched by the lunar ecli-pse,he will have to go throu-gh the side effects again” I exclaimed.
“What are the side effects” She asked curiously.
“He gets de-ep injuries and he bleeds alot for complete three days”
“Is there any remedy to that” Melissa asked curiously staring at me.
“…. There is but I’m not sure if Miles will want to do that. If Miles doesn’t do it,he’s gonna die in the next lunar ecli-pse” I whined.
“What’s the remedy” She yelled getting frustrated again.
“He has to kill his first pub with his fangs and that’s why Miles wanted to get married to Lila desperately” I confessed.
“What” She g@sped out breathlessly.
“Are you trying to say Miles will have to kill his pub with Zoe if he wants to live. How can fate be so cruel” She added tiredly.
“We all know how much Miles loves and cares for Zoe,he wouldn’t dare harm his child with Zoe. That’s close to impossible” I uttered tiredly.
“I’m pretty sure there’s another remedy. We can’t let Miles kill his own child,he will never forgive himself if he does that. He might be heartless at times but he’s very attached to his love ones. Mason are you there’s no other remedy” Melissa asked curiously.
“There’s another remedy but it will take time before he gets the remedy” I mentioned.
“How”
“Miles have to leave for the region of the demon werewolves and get the remedy. He will have to kill the next demon Alpha with his fangs that’s the only solution” I explained.
“That’s another difficult one. It will take him forever to get to the demon region. He might not be here when Zoe put to birth” Melissa said worriedly.
MILES POV
Mason walked into my chambers, looking all worried.
“You look like you’ve done something I will not like to hear about. Mason, Melissa is the love of your life but I’m your best buddy” I complained.
“How come you know I told Melissa something” Mason asked curiously.
“Of course it’s obvious you told her something. The issue is bothering the both of us a lot and I’m pretty sure Melissa will be curious about what’s going on. Anyways what was her suggestion. I can’t possibly kill my own child,that’s cruel” I emphasized.
“She didn’t say much,she’s still thinking about the best solution to this,I just hope her best solution isn’t you killing your pub” Mason uttered worriedly.
“I think I’m not telling you something” I snapped in a low tone.
“Does it have something to do with where you went the other day” He asked curiously.
“Exactly…I remember not telling you anything. I went after Lila and you wouldn’t believe what’s been going on with her” I grimaced.
“How do you mean”
“Lila’s…” I pursed as I noticed someone was at the window eavesdropping. Swiftly Mason went after the person and killed her.
I went out and saw a very beautiful werewolf at her middle fifties,she was dead alre-ady.
“She doesn’t look like someone I’ve seen before. How did she get into the castle”I asked curiously.
“Looks like she’s working for someone but she looks like a goddess,why will she be working for someone” Mason said staring at her.
“At the same time,she looks like some kind of a dre-ad doctor or” I g@sped.
“Clean up this mess” I ordered one of the guards. Mason and I went back inside.
“She didn’t probably get anything from us before she died right” I asked curiously.
“Even though she did,she would take it to the after life” Mason scoffed.
What if she’s one of aunt’s loyal wolf. There’s no way she’s working for Aunt. Aunt is dead alre-ady. She smelled like she works in a spell house and she looks very pretty so she will probably be working for a beauty queen like herself. Oh $h!t. I thought seriously as a thought c@m£ to my head.
“Oh no…. Busted” I g@sped out and ran out.

LILA POV
I look horrible, I pretend to be a beauty werewolf when I’m around others. What’s so good about having all the power in the world if I just keep getting rotten, anytime I get anxious and angry.
FLASHBACK*** Seven years back when I ran away from home.
I worked on my own in a cave. I produced different kinds of spells which I get it tested using my b©dy. I lost my ability to transform because of my spells.
After running different several tests on my b©dy,I began to get side effects of the spells but it only wors£n when I began to use my blood as an ingredient for one of my spells. At first whenever I cut myself to get blood,it doesn’t heal.
Five years after thorou-gh tests and experiment. Princess Luna invited me to become her scientist but one unfaithful day,I got one of spells wrong and it got things messed up for princess Luna.
“You have no idea,how much of a loss you’ve caused me. I hate incompetence,you must have to work for me,you have to become perfect”She yelled and gave me a de-ep cut on my cheeks with her claws.
The injuries didn’t heal,it suddenly began to rotten.. I made masks for myself to cover my imperfections. I met my master along the way.

Everyone have a weakness and I refuse to give up when I haven’t achieved my goal. I don’t want anyone to mock or yell at me because they’re bigger and stronger than me. I want everyone to tremble at the sound of my voice. Everyone should respect me. My face got destroyed because I lacked power and strength. I muttered in my mind with so much hate.
“Lila” Miles called out from outside.
“Miles what is he doing here” I muttered out confused and went out.
“Lila do you mind if I accompany you today” He asked with a smile.
What’s going on here? Why does he suddenly want to hang out with me. That doesn’t feel right. I thought looking away.
“I felt we don’t hang out much like we did when we were little” He added still grinning.
“We’re all grown up now,it’s not necessary we have to hang out like we did when we were little” I scoffed.

“We’re all grown up now,it’s not necessary we have to hang out like we did when we were little” I scoffed.
“If you’re going to be my Luna,we should get comfortable being around each other, don’t you think so” He requested.
“Sorry but I’m not interested. I don’t like the idea of been attached to anyone. I love being independent. You may leave now” I said coldly.
“You’re so selfish,you know that right. You don’t have to be so independent all the time. You will have to live the rest of your life with me and you’re denying me right of getting to know you better” He said pas-sionately.
What’s he pu-lling. I thought confused.
“Alpha what has come over you? You usually don’t behave like this and you know this is not the right attitude you should be pu-lling after postponing our wedding. You totally embarras-sed me infront of everyone. What if Zoe gives birth to your heir,what will happen to me then” I argued.
“Nothing is going to happen to you. You will still be my Luna,I don’t go back from my words” He said softly.
“I want to get to know you more. You amaze me a lot” He complimented with a smile and I noticed a smile appeared on my face as well.
“You look beautiful when you smile”He added grinning.

“I want to know everything about you that I don’t know” He emphasized.
“When I left father when I was little,no one knew where I was and how I was holding up. Father almost lost it when he couldn’t find me but surprisingly I was close by” I chuckled.
“You were so mischievous when you were little. I remember vividly how you lead me to the demon dungeon and ran away, leaving me all alone at the forest” Miles giggled.
“You are missing out something,you did that to me first. I was only paying you back. Honestly I was a very mischievous pub. I wish I can turn back time” I said on a low tone.
I’m wish I can turn back time. I would wish not to be mischievous.and maybe I wouldn’t have so many challenges. I thought sadly staring at Miles as he smiled at me.
“Lila have you ever visited the human reign” He asked curiously.
“Not really, I’ve never thought of going there. I don’t like the feeling of indifference that’s why I’ve never gone there” I uttered.
“You don’t have to show the world that you’re a werewolf. You act all normal and natural and nob©dy will notice anything. Trust me on that” He said smiling.
“What’s the human world like” I asked smiling.
“The human world is fun and mind b!owing. It’s a world where their only challenges are wealth. It’s a place without money people can’t survive. Mason and I had a very comfortable life at the human reign. I never thought of coming back” He grinned.
“Didn’t you pas-s throu-gh challenges like the human does” I asked curiously.
“At first I did but after Mason and I united,I made so much wealth and bec@m£ the youngest billionaire known in history. Lila come with me,I should take you to the human reign and show you how beautiful and lucky you are to be fiance” He said pas-sionately.
What if my Imperfections becomes visible. I may lose my powers as well. I thought confused.
But Miles is inviting so lovingly,how can I reject him. I thought.
“I will be there for you always. Don’t worry about anything. We really nee-d to spend sometime together. I know I don’t have feelings for you now but I’m willing to give it a try. I’m willing to breath throu-gh from my past” He said softly and my heart fluttered for the first time.

MASON POV
“Ha…!” I sighed tiredly.
“Mason what’s going on with Miles? He’s acting all lovey-dovey with Lila. Don’t tell me he has feelings for her now” Melissa inquired.
“I also have no idea what’s going on but Miles definitely knows what he’s doing. He’s trying to pu-ll something together here” I sighed.
“And that something has to do with Lila developing a thing for him” She questioned.
“Lila and Miles are werewolves you should never question because they have dee-per secrets than you can ever think of and plea-se Melissa don’t bother asking me anything,I honestly don’t have any idea” I hinted.
Now I’m feeling sorry for Lila,she has no idea what’s coming her way. Miles turned out to be a demon himself. I thought frustratedly.
ZOE POV
“Mason plea-se I have a word with you” I requested politely as I ran after him.
“If it has anything to do with the Alpha then I will have to pas-s. Go ask him anything if you’re bothered by something” He said rudely.
“I don’t know want to ask you about the Alpha. I just want to ask you,why you dislike me so much” I asked concerned and he giggled.
“Can you really hear yourself. Why do you think I will be on good terms with you after what you did to the Alpha. I wasn’t in support of you being around from the beginning and nothing’s changed. You just have to learn to know your place. No one here cares about you. You know right” Mason uttered coldly.
“I know my place but you nee-d to be on good terms with me if you really want us to get along when protecting the Alpha” I said softly.
“I don’t care.. your pres£nt means nothing to me. The reason I’m talking to you right now is because you’re carrying Miles’s child. So move it,I’ve got important things to do” He said sarcastically and walked out.
Nob©dy’s on my side at the castle. Life can really be cruel and unfair sometimes. Nob©dy’s willing to give me a second chance. I thought frustratedly.
FLASHBACK***” Supreme thanks for coming over,I was beginning to miss you” I said smiling as Miles c@m£ into my room days ago.
“Zoe what do you want? You would have disappeared when you found out you were pregnant. Was it necessary to put me throu-gh this terrible trauma” He complained.
“Miles you just call our child a terrible trauma. If you can’t find it in your heart to forgive,you don’t have to regret this good news. And I wouldn’t seat back and watch you get married to another werewolf. I will be your Luna and that’s a fact you can’t change” I said seriously.
“You’ve no idea who you’re messing with. I will make you regret coming back here. I will never forgive you not even because you’re carrying my child so get that straight into your head” He yelled.
“Miles plea-se give me a second chance to mend my mistakes. Everyone deserves to be given a second chance” I uttered almost in tears.
“I gave you a second chance but you stabbe-d me again so you’ve exhausted all your chances. Why do you have to come back into my life. You make me feel incompetent,you make me look weak and what disgust me the most is the fact that you keep trying to get closer to me” Miles uttered angrily and tears escaped my eyes.
“I only c@m£ here to let you know that,you should avoid me as long you’re at this castle. You make me feel disgusting” Miles said coldly and walked out of the room. *** FLASHBACK ENDS.
“Don’t expect anyone to treat you differently because you’re carrying the alpha’s child. You did horrible things and It’s like a stamp in our heart. There’s no way you can erase that” Melissa uttered from behind.
“I will walk my way back into the alpha’s life and that’s a goal I must accomplish” I whispered.
“Keep up with that spirit so you give birth to a strong and healthy young supreme. Don’t expect much from me” She added and walked away.
