Everyone turned around to look at the voice and it was no one else than the ‘almighty’ Ian.
He slowly stepped forward with his gaze fixed on hani, tho he broke glances with her when he arrived in front of Queen Lisa.
” You can’t seize her. She is Innocent” He said and Queen Lisa scoffed, walking to him briskly.
” Who dragged you into this discussion and why are you even here?. Who let a Knight in here?!”
” You are only trying to hide your son’s flaw even when you know he’s really wrong!. And you’re trying to reface it by seizing Hani!”
” My son would never try to kill his own father!. Don’t you get it?!” She spat.
” Then how do you explain the knife beneath him?” He spoke and everyone gaze went to the knife on the floor.
Lisa fist clenched harder.
” That doesn’t prove that he was trying to Kill his father.” She spat.
” For real?.” Ian smirked and Lisa’s eye rolled.
He sighed and picked the keys from Hani’s hand.
“I’ll go get the door open and we’ll all know the truth”
” Stop him!!” The Queen yelled and the guards immediately seized Ian by his two arms.
” What’s happening. Let go of me!” He ordered.
” Who do you think you are to interfere in this!.” She spat.
” Tell them to let go of me right away before I loose it!” He yelled, thinning his eyes at her.
” Guards. Throw him out immediately!” She immediately ordered, pointing at the gate.
Ian pulled Hani to face his chest and instantly, a force, like pressure, pushed them all away to the floor.
All, including Xander, the guards, and every single being closed by, went to the ground, passing out immediately.
Hani silently blinked as her face was mugged into his chest, luckily she could inhale his nice scent.
” I hope you’re okay?” He asked her and she pulled her small chin up, looking at him.
” What just happened?” She asked and Ian covered her eyes with his veiny palm.
He wanted her to be ignorant of what had happened. Unfortunately, hani was aware he had powers too.
” Nothing. Nothing happened. They’ve all….left” He told her, the bump in his throat moving desperately.
He held her shoulders, making her face the King’s large door.
He unlocked the door and pushed it open nudging her back for her to proceed inside and hani grumpily walked in.
The king was still sick in bed and Ian rushed in quickly with hani running behind him like his pet.
” Good morning, Your highness” Ian bowed before he could get to his bed.
The king was temporarily weak that he couldn’t move or say anything but his eyes was widely open.
Ian stepped forward and touched his head, it was throbbing hard mixed with temperature.
” Oh F*ck!.” He groaned.
” How’s he?” Hani quickly asked, blinking at him.
“He’s getting a very serious high temperature. He’s really sick” Ian said with worried eyes.
The king suddenly reached out and held his wrist and Ian leaned in on the bed to look at him clearly.
” Is Shaman back yet?” He asked.
” No, he isn’t your highness. He isn’t back” Ian replied with his forehead creasing up.
The king left hold of him and relaxed, shutting his eyes for a while.
Hani quickly faced Ian, touching him abruptly with a worried, puffy look on her face.
” Ian. Shaman isn’t back yet. What do we do?. We don’t have a good doctor around. We don’t even have much time” She grumpily said.
” Don’t panic”
” But what if he dies?!!. We can’t afford to loose him with Xander around!” She grumbled and Ian held her shoulders, putting her in place.
” Let’s not start by praying for that. Shaman would be back by any moment from now. I just hope the king will be sustained till then” He said and hani puckered her lips as she looked up at his eyes.
They didn’t realised they’ve speaking and touching eachother’s bodies randomly without them knowing.
The king slowly moved his head, turning to look at them.
” Hani” He called weakly and hani quickly faced him, palming her two hands.
” Your highness?” She bowed and the king curved a smile.
” Thanks for your kindness, Hani. You’ve cared for me more than those I thought would. If I ever get fine, I’d repay you for this wonderful act of yours” He said.
” Its always my pleasure your highness!” She giggled and turned to Ian, giving a gummy smile at him.
Ian forced a smile back just to appeal her and when she looked away, he felt somehow good to have smiled at her.
He was standing behind her and so he could look at her carefully, refreshing his mind.
” She’s kinda cute and….a cheerful girl. Even tho we’ve just been together for three minutes, I suddenly feel attached” He thought.
He left out a sigh and turned to the window.
A horse began to trip into the palace field and Ian slowly thinned his eyes, seeing a chariot ride in.
” It looks like Shaman might be here now” He said and hani heart skipped in excitement.

EVENING<< KING'S CHAMBER>>
Xander walked to and fro in the chamber before looking at Lisa.
” How was he able to manipulate us to fall asleep that way?. I mean…it’s not normal right?. We all woke up in the corridor?” He asked.
” You are not supposed to ask me that question but think about the king who is now on medication and almost reviving” She said.
Xander sighed and crouched into the sofa.
Soon, The king started to walk in energetically and everyone in the chamber stood up, except Xander who remained in the sofa.
Lisa pressed her lip tight and nudged his leg with her feet but he didn’t respond.
” Xander?” Lisa whispered.
Xander looked away, crossing his arm against his chest arrogantly.
” Xander!” The king ordered and Xander finally turned to look at him with a glare.
” You could have taken a microphone if you wanted the whole villagers to hear you!” Xander spat.
” Stand on your feet!” The king ordered.
” What’s the point?. Are you too tall that I can’t see your face from down here?!” He spat and everyone gasped.
Lisa pinched her eyes close, sighing out hardly.
The king gritted his teeth and walked up to him, hitting his face with a loud resounding slap.
” You dare not act disrespectful in front of me. I am your father!” He thundered and Xander stood up, arrogantly.
He pushed his chest and the king almost staggered.
” And You should respect me as your son and the next heir to the throne!!” He yelled.
” You are not going to be the next heir, Xander. Just know that. I won’t leave an arrogant, prideful and wicked fool to rule over this village.”
” Ohh. Lol. I’d watch you do your thing!. I am the first son and it’s on my birthright that I be the next heir!!” He grinned wickedly.
” Before I die, I’ll make sure I eliminate you from this palace, you and including your mother!”
” Your highness!” Lisa spat with a glare.
” Two days…Just two days before I send you both out of here if he doesn’t change!” He yelled before walking away briskly.
” You’d be the first to leave, watch out old fool!” Xander cursed
” Xander?!” Lisa cautioned.
” Don’t even start, Mom or you’ll be next!” He scoffed before walking away immediately.
Lisa looked at the overlookers before she left the chamber and ran along to catch up with him.
” Xander…Xander I’m talking you!”
” Don’t yell my name!” He scoffed.
” Please listen to me, please!” She said and he finally stopped and looked at her.
” i plead on our behalf,Xander. You need to control yourself. I know you need the throne so bad and I also want that for you. i know you also want to kill him but you shouldn’t make it noticeable!” She yelled.
” The king might know the truth about us, Mom. If he does, our plan is completely ruined and I’d never get to be the crowned king ever again. That why I want him dead soon at all cost!” Xander said.
Lisa sighed.
” You’re right. If he knows about us, we’re temporarily dead. I’m scared just by thinking about it.” She said.
” Its your fault this is happening, mom. But you Don’t have to worry, the truth is sealed with us” Xander grinned.
” What truth?” A voice uttered and the two almost jumped in fear.
Xander turned and found Aurora leaning by the wall with a sexy smirk on her face.
” Aurora. What are you doing here darling?” Lisa asked, walking forward with a clown smile.
” You guys are hiding something” She said with a serious expression.
” I don’t think so. We aren’t hiding anything at all. What could we possibly hide under the roof of the palace” She giggled awkwardly.
” I heard you guys say something about the truth?. What truth?. Tell me now or the king will know about it.” She said and Xander suddenly gripped her throat hard.
” Xander!!. Stop this!!” Lisa screamed.
” Never. No one must know that we’re hiding a truth!” He spat, squeezing the life out of her and she started to choke with no words.
” She’s your half sister!” Lisa screamed.
” I don’t f*cking care!!. She’s more or less useless to me!” He scoffed and pinned her harder to the wall, and Aurora life was getting thin.
Xora was walking down the corridor and she found them straggling her daughter to the wall.
” Oh my God!, What’s happening here!!” She screamed, running forward quickly.
Xander threw Aurora’s lifeless body to the floor and opt for her, squeezing her life out like devil had overtook him.
Lisa just stood in shock, watching her son drain life out of her fellow wife.
When Xora dropped dead, Xander heaved a sigh of satisfaction and turned to look at Lisa.
” We’ve eliminated them all. No one knows the truth now, I told you it will get sealed with us” He smirked and Lisa just stood there, brainless.
Her eyes rolled and she slumped to the floor in defeat.
” Mom?” Xander brow raised.

*GIRLS CAMP*
Vivian was searching through her old cabinet for a new dress to put on when suddenly, she across a small wrapping cloth.
She remembered that this was the same cloth Ian was placed in when his mother was handing the child to her as her own.
She sat down and hugged the cloth to her chest with tears filling her eyes to the brim.
” I have to tell him the truth. He’s eighteen now, already an adult, I just hope he understands me” She said and blinked, the tears falling on her cheeks.
She sniffed the cloth as more tears flow down her eyes bitterly.
” It’s hurt to let go of him. I almost forgot he is not my child. I wonder how he’s gonna feel but I have to try” She sobbed and then sniffing badly.
She left the camp with a lamp and went out in search for him.
She stopped when she saw Ian sitting on the grass, while leaning into two rock.
Next to him was hani who was busy counting the stars.
She gasped and quickly hid in the grass to hear their conversation.
” Is my ship sailing that fast?” She thought aloud with an awkward look on her face.

” One…Two….three…Oh…See!. See!!. I just saw fireworks!” She pointed, grabbing his hands quickly to jilt him back to earth.
” That’s a meteor. A shooting star not fireworks” He said plainly.
” Whatever it is, It’s really beautiful.” She sighed and rested her head on his shoulder dreamily.
He used a tip of his finger to move her head away slowly.
” This is supposed to be my resting place but you’re disrupting my peace already by joining me here” He said.
” This is also where I sit to rest and gaze at the stars too. I remember when we do hold hands and lay on the grass, staring at the sky with so much love” She sighed and Ian looked at her awkwardly.
” What do you mean you remember us staying here and staring at the sky?” He scoffed and hani quickly realised.
” Oh. Oops. I’m so sorry, I’m really sorry. I..I..meant…my…. Not You. I usually sit here alone” She quickly said and Ian looked away.
He laid on the grass and placed his hands behind his head.
Hani pressed her lip tight and looked away and before she knew it, he had pulled her down and she was resting on his other hand.
Her eyes surged for a moment before she slowly looked at him.
” Anything?” He asked, staring at the sky as he felt her big eyes poking glances at his face.
” I’m surprised you want me to stay beside you”
” I don’t want you beside me. I just thought your hands were to short to curl around your head if you rest on the grass.” He smirked at her.
She giggled and leaned in close.
” Does this mean we’re friends now?” She silently asked,hoping he didn’t hear her.
” Huh?. Can you repeat that clearly?”
” I said I love oranges” She quickly said, biting her finger nails nervously.
‘ I’m definitely rushing things again. So bad of you hani!’ Her little mind scolded as she pinched her eyes tightly close.
” Yea, we can be friends” He said with a soft chuckle.
Hani quickly sat up excitedly.
” Really?”
” Yea, i mean…you’re not as bad as I thought you were the first time we met.” He said with a smile.
” Oh geez!.” She immediately crumbled his chest in a hug. “Thank you so much!!. I’m so glad!. I’m so excited” She said happily.
Ian raised a brow, he never realised she was this needy to become his friend this bad.
He sat up and looked at her.
” I’m sorry for yelling at you earlier, calling you a slot, hani. I was probably upset when I said those words. I’m so sorry”
” It’s fine. It didn’t really get to me. I was probably angry with myself for taking that first move at you” She said with a smile.
He leaned in and kissed her forehead and leaned away and hani lowered her gaze shyly.
A cloth flew out out of the grass and Ian turned his head around.
” What’s that?” Ian asked.
” Don’t worry, you’re safe. I’ll go find out what’s that” She said bravely.
Ian held her hand.
” It might be a trap” He said and gently stood up, getting his sword out from the slit.
Hani picked some rocks for futher protection as she followed him behind.
” Who’s there!!” He yelled.
The grass didn’t move. He looked at the cloth on the floor and went up to it, he picked it up and saw it was a royal wrapper.
” It seems the person who dropped this must have been a royal” He said.
” Let’s go report it to the king quickly” Hani said.
” The king already told us it’s not safe for us to return into the palace because of Xander”
” You can give it to me. I’m not really scared of Xander anymore cos I can protect myself.” She said, stretching out her hand.
Ian looked at her and smiled.
” Go to bed, little angel. I’ll meet the king myself” He smiled, ruffling her hair before walking away quickly.
Hani stood there as her cheeks with went red.
” He called me angel. Gawd, I’ve won his heart already!. I’ve finally won his heart.” She threw her hands in the air spontaneously.

Ian walked towards the direction of the palace gently cos everywhere was terribly dark and he wasn’t with a lamp either.
He arrived at the palace entrance and some guards stopped him.
” You can’t go in at this time” One of them said.
Ian controlled their minds and their feet grew weak, slumping them to the floor instantly.
He walked in and took the direction to the King’s room immediately.
As usual, he knew the king was by his balcony every night and luckily, he went there and found him there.
” Your highness” He walked in slowly.
” What do you want at this period, Ian. It’s late” The king said.
” I’m sorry for disturbing your peace, but I found this in the field. I don’t know if it’s alarming” He said.
The king eyes widened when he saw it. He could vividly remember that it his wife’s baby wrapping. How could it suddenly pop up at this time.
” You found this in the field?. Who could have dropped it?” The king asked taking it from him.
” I’m clueless, Your highness. That’s why I came to you” He said.
The king held the cloth in his fist.
” This could only be a sign that my wife and son is alive somewhere.” He said and started to leave the balcony quickly leaving Ian dumbstruck at a spot.
” By tomorrow morning, Gather around everyone in the palace, Someone need to explain this royal wrapping suddenly popping out after 18 years of being hidden!”
