Hani tied up her robe properly before pushing the door to Xander’s room open, walking in gently.
Queen Lisa was in there, along with a new physician.
Currently, the previous physician had disappeared and was nowhere to be found so a new one has been employed.
Hani slowly walked in and she met Xander on his bed with his leg being treated.
” Hold him over there. And I’ll hold him here” The physician told one of the guard and he did as he said.
” Is it going to hurt?” Xander asked with plain brows.
” A little bit” The physician winked. ” On the count of three you pull. Now, One…Two…Pull!!”
” Arrrggggg!!” Xander screamed, falling off the bed immediately.
Hani cheeks bubbled as she tried not to laugh at the humorous scene.
The physician pulled him up but he was down on his bed again.
” Just wait a minute. I need to adjust to the pain___
” Pull!!” He ordered a second time and the guard responded by pulling his leg tightly, causing a noticeable crack.
” F**kkkkkkk!!. Mother!!” He screamed.
Hani palmed her lips. Her throat was already ticklish, wanting to burst out the tumor.
” Stop!” Queen Lisa ordered and the physician stepped aside, along with the guard who left hold of Xander’s weak leg.
She walked up to Xander.
” How do you feel now, dear son?” She asked.
” I think that’s enough. The pain i feel is deadly” Xander said and tried to stand up but a limb moved and he descended back on the bed heavily.
” Ugh..No..No!!” He cried.
” He’ll need more stretching, your highness” The guard said.
” F*ck whatever stretching you’re doing!. I quit!!…I solely Quit!!” Xander yelled.
” It’s for your own good, Xander” Queen Lisa said worriedly.
” I said I’ll be fine!. Hand me the crutch.” He said and it was given to him.
He held it to himself and stood up on his feet perfectly before stepping out.
He halted in front of Hani and looked at her with a dangerous glare.
” I’ll need to have a private talk with you later in the day” He said before stepping out.
Hani sighed and when she met Queen Lisa approaching her, her heart started beating madly.
” How did this happen?” Lisa asked, stopping few feet away from her.
” He slipped” Hani quickly replied.
” He said he never slipped!”
” Then I have no idea how it happened too. I only came to serve him breakfast in the morning before I heard his screams” She said.
Queen Lisa gritted her teeth strongly before giving her a stunt glare.
” Those two short legs of yours will get bruises soon if Xander fails to never walk away. Trust me” She hissed before leaving the room.

≈KING’S/ EMPEROR’S ROOM≈
Hani quickly took the corridor leading to the King’s room and luckily for her, no guards was at their duty at the front of the door.
She got in and saw the king still sick in bed.
” Your highness” She bowed, stopping by the door.
The king sat up and looked at her.
” You?. Aren’t you the new girl?” He asked.
” Oh yes!” Hani smiled.
” What brings you here?”
” I have really bad news. Your majesty” She said.
” Tell me about it, little girl” The king told her and Hani resumed speaking.
” Shaman has left the palace and now Xander is planning to come into your room overnight to kill you. I overhead him say it yesterday while I was still roaming around the palace” She said.
” Not it again. Oh my goodness!” The king groaned, holding his throbbing head.
” Don’t worry your highness, I’m ready to protect you. And I’m not ready to risk Xander harming you” She said and the king smiled at her bravery.
” How can you do that?. You are just a cute innocent girl and Xander is a rich devil. I, myself, is greatly scared of him. I bet you’re not fit to defeat him”
” Don’t worry, your highness. Um…” She looked around and saw his keys by the table.
She rushed towards it and grabbed it.
” I’ll lock the door and keep the keys here in my dress pocket sack. He won’t be able to walk in through this protective large doors. You’ll be fine and if you need food, I’ll be the only one to walk in until tomorrow morning” She blabbered and finally turned to look at the king.
The king gave a fatherly smile.
” You seem really kind. I’d never support why you were forced to come work here in the palace. Would you like to go back to your parent after this?” He asked.
” I only have a dad” She said, placing her hand behind her back.
” Would you like to return back home then?” He asked.
Hani forced a smile as she nods.
” Yes, I’d like to return back home and meet my father but…” She halted has tears gathered in her eyes.
” Perhaps, my fate changed and I came here for other purpose. One is to protect you, my king, away from xander. I really love to see my dad but, he wouldn’t be alive now. Last time I remembered, he was beaten to pulp. He was really innocent, I should I’ve been the one in his place. I should’ve been the one to be punished and not him. He was the only one I had. Yet they…” She smiled, silently crying inwardly as her heart tore apart.
The king left the bed and stood up.
” I understand, little girl. It’s the rules. All this wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t break the community rules”
” I know.” She sniffed, rubbing her wet eye lids. ” You need to return back to bed, your highness. I’ll leave with the keys now. Good day!” She said and left the room, closing back the large door quietly.
The king sat down and rubbed his wet eye lids.
” I feel her pain. I lost my very first wife and my son. I felt like I had loose everything. No pain is compared to missing someone you cherished” He sniffed and run his fingers into his long white hair.

Ian walked into the field and when he saw Vivian, he moved faster towards her.
” Mom” He called and Vivian turned around, her eyes surging out to see him there.
” Why are you still awake?” She asked.
” That new girl. Who’s she?” He asked.
Vivian bit her lower lips, smiling sexily.
” Well, that’s Hani. The new maiden. She’s really a good girl, I really like her and could adopt her as a daughter inlaw if could” She smiled, winking at him.
Ian blankly looked at her awkwardly.
” Why___ are you behaving that weird?” He asked.
” Well, Do you want to talk to her?. I could go get her right now?.” She asked hastily.
” No…I…
” Mistress!” A tiny voice called. Vivian turned around and Ian stepped out to find hani coming quickly. She stopped in front of them and their eyes was the first thing that met.
She quickly turned to face Vivian.
” Oh…Um…You’re busy with him. I…I..I’d rather talk to you later” She said.
” No..No. He wants to talk to you instead” Vivian said quickly.
” What?. I never said so” Ian spat.
” Stay here…” Vivian pushed hani infront of him and hani quickly puckered her lip. ” Stay here, hani. And hear what he has to say. I have to rush somewhere now” She said and started to walk away quickly.
Ian wanted to say something but she had hurriedly left and his words dropped under his adam apple.
He slowly looked at hani again and his gaze thickened with hate.
” Hey. Why would you try to that without my permission?”
” What?” Hani poked her eyes at him.
Ian sighed, looking around the field with his lower jaw grinning hardly.
” The thing you did on my lip” He said hotly.
” What thing?” She asked, squishing her shoulders tightly.
” Do I still need to remind you?” He spat.
” Oh!. Is it this?” She asked and leaned on her toes, pecking his lip again and Ian instantly froze.
He looked down at her and hani confidently maintained eye contact with him.
” I like you, Ian” She quickly said.
Ian looked around to see if anyone was coming before thinning his gaze at her.
” What are you saying?” He gasped.
She held his hands, shocking him again.
” I know it’s weird but, the first time I saw you, I totally fell in love with you. You are handsome, hot, smart and caring. You are….my dream man. Everything I’ve always wanted” She smiled, giggling softly.
Ian threw her hands off.
” You must be sick!. I don’t even know you yet and you’re confidently standing here to tell me I’m your dream man!” He yelled.
Hani eyes started to water again as her gaze on his eyes began to grow weak.
” But you are!” She cried.
” I Said I am not!. If you’re a slot looking for a man, there are a lot of them around the palace to hook up with but not me!. Be warned!” He scoffed and left her, walking away.
” Please don’t hate me!” She cried. ” I really like you and I’m speaking from my heart. I swear” She sobbed, huccuping badly.
Ian bit his lower lip.
” Stop saying you like me!”
” But I really do. I do…I f**king do!” She cried, stepping forward. She hugged his back and Ian froze once more, his forehead making lines.
” I’m sorry for confessing my feelings this early but….I just couldn’t hold it in for too long. I really want you” She said, mumbling on his back.
Ian used a single hand to tear off her arms around his waist, and hani stepped back, frowning a bit.
He stood there, backing her, while trying to control his emotions.
” This should be the last time we meet like this, Next time we cross path, Just run!” He said and started to walk away swiftly.
Hani rubbed her eyes as tears roll down more carelessly this time.
” He isn’t the Ian I have known. He’s just so different and strict. I want the real Ian back!. I want my husband back!” She cried and sat on the grass, crying out her eyes hopelessly.

Ian returned back to his camp and slumped back on his bed.
He has taken off his robe and was now shirtless, wearing only a bottom tracker.
His mind drifted towards the scene at the field.
” That girl…” He thought as he stared at the roof blankly. He raised one foot to rest on the bed before resuming on his thought.
” The random kiss…her touch…the hug….her tears. It sincerely affected me somehow that I feel so weird” He said.
He sat up and pinched his eyes close.
” Come on Ian. Just try forget all that happened and sleep. Sleep…Sleep…” He reminisced effortlessly.
He saw her pecking his lip and he snapped his eyes widely open. He grabbed the nearest pillow and threw it to the door.
” F*ck my imagination!!” He groaned and fell back on the bed, breathing harshly.

≈ PALACE≈
Xander slowly walked towards the King’s room. His legs was bandaged now so he could fairly walk without crutches.
Everyone had gone off to bed. He arrived to see no guards there.
He had earlier instructed the guards to leave their post so he could perform his cruel activities secretly.
He grabbed hold of the door and saw it was locked. He tried to pull his hands off but it was stuck.
” Glue?” He thought and his head sparked in shock.
Who could have kept a glue there? And how was the person able to figure out his plans for the king that night?
” Oh F*ck!” He groaned.
He tried to pull away and the knife in his other hand fell.
” No!!. This can’t be happening. No!!” He cried painfully.
He tried to push away with his feet then his feet got stucked to the door as well.
” You Don’t mean it!” He scoffed and used his other leg to push out his leg then the two got stucked to the door.
One would think he’s playing the spider man action movie right there.
” Ughhh. Somebody help!!” He screamed. He clearly knew everyone was asleep in their different Chambers and wouldn’t possibly hear him.
” Help!!!” He shouted bitterly.
He decided to stay calm, in the same position till dawn.

☆NEXT DAY☆
Hani came out of her room, packing her messy hair properly.
Some girls were gathered, talking noisily and Salome was among the group.
” What’s going on?” Hani asked, coming to their midst.
” You don’t have to know everything” Salome hissed.
” Prince xander was found stuck to the door this morning and they are still trying to pull him out” One of the other girls said.
” Did I tell you to tell her anything?” Salome spat.
” But…
” Leave our group. Now!” She ordered and the girl ran away in tears.
She turned to hani, folding her hands.
” So you’ve heard the gist. What are you going to do now?.” She snickered.
” I totally forgot. I’m supposed to go save the king!”
” Oh…I forgot you use to be a local superhero” Salome hissed and the other girls laughed.
” If I wanna start with you, I’d start by telling you to go brush your teeth before you breath out bad air into someone’s lung. Someone could die!” Hani spat before walking away.
Salome fisted her palm angrily. Her minions kept a straight face cos they knew she’d eliminate their stay with her if they dared laugh.

》PALACE《
” He’s the one!!” Hani came running along and everyone turned to look at her.
” What do you mean?” Queen Lisa spat, walking out.
” Xander is trying to kill the king and take the throne for himself. That’s what he’s trying to do!. He’s trying to sneak in and kill the king last night” She yelled.
🗣 Gasp!!
” Here. I’m with the king door keys. I kept it safe so that no one would hurt the king. I’m also responsible for the glue too” She said.
” So you’re responsible for glueing the prince to the door isn’t it?!. And the other time you broke his leg!!” Lisa spat.
” I’m sorry but I had no choice!” Hani said worriedly as her heart raced rapidly.
” Guards. Seize her!” She ordered and the guards immediately grabbed her hand forcefully.
” STOP!” A voice uttered and everyone turned to face who it was,and their brows rose afterwards.
