I smiled and looked away.
“I would like you to use just Anna, your Majesty” I muttered and he scoffed.
“Okay. if you say so, br@inless rat” He remarked and I pouted my li-ps.
He chuckled and got up from the bed. He took my hand and pulled me towards the balcony.
I rested my hands on the railings and he wrapped his hands around my wa-ist.
“I have something to do, Annaliese…”
I flinched and turned to look at him.
“You don’t nee-d to be too surprised…I know your full name” He said and I melted at the sp-ot.
He knows my full name?? I mean…Anna’s full name…
Oh Geez!
I escaped this one…that’s for sure.
“I have someone to deform…come here after you’re done with the wedding tutorial” He said and placed a ki-ss on my cheek before leaving.
I batted my lashes like a bloated goat.
So…Anna’s full name is Annaliese.
Sounds wonderful.
I walked out of the room shortly.

Duchess Tetrazzini was already at the hall with Manuel.
What’s he doing here?
I thought she said we were done with the dancing routine.
“Good morning, my lady” I said and took her stretched hand.
I placed a soft ki-ss on it and let go.
The duchess was wearing a big smile..
“Perfect hand-ki-ss, dear” She commended and my ego bloomed.
“Today…we’ll first learn about the rules and laws guarding the queenship of Euphoris” she added.
I nodded.
Manuel sat on a seat afar just staring.
That’s not normal is it??
Duchess Tetrazzini bought out a large enormous ha-rdcover book and dropped it on the table.
She fli-pped the pages neatly and cleared her throat.
“First and most important…a queen must not deny the king se-x or any se-xual activity that entices him.
“Second, the queen must acknowledge the king with respect or she’ll be flogged infront of her personal servants.
“Third, the queen must dress royalty to avoid insults such as; who-re from the entire kingdom and afar.

As she read from the book, I was damj tired of standing. Like, how do I un-derstand what she’s reading when i feel pains at the knees.
There was no other chair in the hall except for the one Manuel was sitting on.
I swallowed the torture and leaned on the table. Tetrazzini didnt seem to care as she continued blabbing.
“Tenth! A queen that cheats on the king would publicly be disgraced and one of her arm would be chopped off!” She yelled like she was directly referring to me.
“Any question?” She asked with a creepy smile…
I shook my head negatively.
“No…I perfectly un-derstand” I replied.
“And the secret code of queenship is this – you have no right to lie to the king. Because if you lie…your dignity will be destroyed. I’ll personally make sure of that and any case that reaches the royal court must be sorted without pity” She bickered.
I looked coldly at her and tried not to act like I was frightened by her words.
Alicia’s pov?
A ray of light reflected on my face and I glanced up alarmed.
The door was opened and King Lee walked in.
Oh God…
I gulped the dryness I felt in my throat.
I’ve been denied water though I was thirsty.
A guard went close to him and he whispered something In his ear.
The cell was opened and I was dragged out ruefully.
I kept sobbing as they made me kneel before him.
“I’m so sorry, your–”
“It won’t bring back my dead daughter” He cut me off sitting on the table.
I quivered as more tears scrolled down.
“I didnt mean to hurt her…please forgive me your highness”
He remained stiff staring icily at me.
I’ve never felt so ruined in my entire life…
I just hope he forgives me…
“You can go” He muttered and I raised my brows.
Really?….
I stood up and attempted to run but a ha-rd grip on my wrist threw me back to the floor where I was kneeling.
It was King Lee!
Oh my God.
The pain was thrice as much as I felt my rib cracking.
I gasped for air and dragged myself up slowly enduring the twinge.
“What should I do to you, Alicia?…I don’t want to kill you, right now” He chided.
I sobbed fervently still on the floor.
He got down from the bed and took two steps towards me.
I couldn’t contain the fear…
“Your highness…Anna is guilty too! She healed Xenia when a scorpion bit her. And now…she’s healed her sick maid…”
“What are you talking about?” He asked glaring at me.
“What I’m trying to say is, princess Anna is a Healer”…

Alicia’s pov?
“What I’m trying to say is, princess Anna is a Healer” I blurted.
His face remained facial and he couldn’t say a word.
“Her being a healer does not erase the fact of the cruel thing you’ve done to Simone” He spoke after a short silence.
“Does that mean you’re not going to punish her too?” I asked alarmed.
He clenched his fist and faced his guard.
“30 stro-kes of cane. I want to see her skin turn red” He ordered and walked out of the room.

“King Lee!!! This is not fair!…” I screamed with gritted teeth.
The guards grabbed me up rou-ghly from the floor and I continued to resist.

Dawn’s pov?
I was extremely glad that the wedding tutorial was completely over and I was asked to return back to my room.
I ambled to the bedroom with my arms folded and my head bent.
I couldn’t stop pondering about the wedding preparations. I would be getting married to King Lee.
I dont think I can get married to him knowing that I’m not princess Anna.
I’m just a simple village girl who always wanted to go to school.
I stopped walking when I heard the clear voice of Xenia crying.
Well, she’s the only child at the castle.
I followed the noise and met her leaning on the wall shedding tears.
Where are the maids?
“Xenia…what’s wrong?” I asked perturbed.
“Its mom. They took her away” She replied in amidst tears.
I stooped to a crouch in front of her.
“Who?” I asked curiously.
“The guards” she muffled and bursted out In fresh tears.
Huh?…Why on Earth would they take Alicia away?

We looked to see Alicia’s maids.
I got up and stood properly.
“Don’t leave her like this again. And also try to calm her down” I suggested.
“Thank you, your highness” They muttered with a dubious look.
I nodded and sauntered out of the place.

Simone’s pov?
I rushed out of the car the moment it came to a halt in front of the palace. I scuttled to the marbel floored area.
I took a de-ep breath gawping at the magnificent building in front of me – the palace of the Thor kingdom.
There’s no doubt…I’m home??
There were maids standing at the entrance and they approached me throwing greetings.
I quickly ignored them and went into the castle.
I didn’t utter word to guards or maids I came across with on the way to his bedroom.
Was he there, anyway?…
The urge to finally set my eyes on him was driving me to the edge.
I got to the door and stared at it’s blankness for some seconds.
I never imagined I would miss him at all.
I tou-ched the knob and twisted it easing the door open. My heart beat increa-sed as I took a step further into the room.
He was sitting on the bed occu-pied with his laptop.
Quiet as always…
I shut the door behind me and moved to him slowly.
“Hi Fabian” I whispered and he looked up.
“Simone?!” He gasped and je-rked up throwing his laptop aside.
I smiled bashfully as he held me by my shoulders and embr@ced me.
I dropped my head on his shoulders and sobbed.
He has no idea of what I’ve been throu-ghat Euphoris.

I continued climbing throu-ghthe wall leading to the princess’s window.
It took me a while to get settled in and come up with the perfect strategy.
I jumped into the bathroom throu-ghthe sizeable window.
I held the knife properly and walked to the door.
Immediately I tou-ched the door knob, my phone beeped in my pocket. Sh°t!
Who the f•••k is calling me on a night like this???
I picked the call and stepped away from the door.
☎ Its me, Sir Blade…
☎ What do you want? I was just about to kill the girl.
☎ Don’t do it tonight, I want it done before her wedding which is next week.
☎ Seriously? Do you think its easy to climb all the way up to her room?

I scoffed and turned off the phone.
This is frustrating…!
I turned around and climbed out throu-ghthe window.
Princess Anna just got lucky tonight cause I had plans of killing her in a special way.
