Dawn’s pov?
“King Lee!” I called running towards him. He was surrounded with his guards and walked ahead of them.
The men stopped and stared at me as i reduced my pace and walked royally to the king.
He looked doleful and I could tell he was sad. One of the maid’s told me Sieone’s baby died and I’m just devastated.
“Yeah?” He asked in muffled breaths.
I was eager to see him but right now, i just feel like crawling un-der a rock.
“I…I’m sorry about the lost baby. I’m also sorry for stopping you…I’ll come later…your highness” I stuttered.
“No…its fine. Let’s go to my chambers” He said and began walking away.
I followed coyly with so much ponderous thoughts going on in my mind.
Why poor Simone?…
I sniffed and wiped off the tear that had rested on my cheek.
I pray she gets over the pain of loosing her child immediately after birth.

King Lee slumped on his bed and stood next to him. He removed his kingly attire quietly and was left in his pa-nts.
I took his clothes and went to the wardrobe and dropped them by the side.
“Come here” King Lee said and I walked back to him.
He laid on the bed and made me sit beside him.
“Anna, I’ll kill someone if this pain doesn’t go away” He whispered staring at the ceiling.
I stared at him clueless of where he’s headed.
“Am I the someone…?” I murdered obviously scared.
He chuckled and took my hand ru-b-bing it.
“I don’t think I can hurt you” He whispered inaudibly but I heard him…
“I want to make her death slow but I don’t think that’ll do…” He added and i cringed.

Alicia’s pov?
I couldn’t stop crying after I heard the news about Simone’s baby’s death.
Its my fault…the ab-ortion pills really affected the baby.
King Lee knows!.
He’s going to come for me soon.
What’s he going to do to me, huh?
I didn’t mean to kill her child.
I was jusy deperate.
God! What I wrong with me???
I even tried to hurt Xenia all because of that shameless princess.

Dawn’s pov?
Right before my eyes…King Lee slept off as I ru-bbed his hands.
His face was so peaceful and cute.
I just hope he’ll feel better and sober tomorrow.
Today has been quite a long day and thanks to Duchess Tetrazzini, my wa-ist hurt from the dancing and standing.
I’m just not used to it!.
I got up from the bed and left the room, unnoticed. I went to Simone’s room but the guards infront of her door restricted me from seeing her.
I’m sure she’s going throu-ghso much hurt right now…
She just have to be strong for her family.
And like they say…most disappointments are indeed blessings.
I retired back to the room to sleep for tomorrow’s drama with Tetrazzini.

King Lee’s pov?
I fixated my eyes out in the lands – gazing at the green pastures and some horse riders moving against the wind.
The morning was beautiful and filled with so much wind. Like…the ghost of our baby was leaving a prese-nt for us.
I smiled and drank from the wine in my hand. I was at the balcony keeping my eyes occu-pied as i waited for Simone to come.
I summoned for her for just one reason.
I want to help her the true way I can.
I sniffed her perfume and realized she was here. Her footsteps were slow and i guessed she was still feeling pains from the delivery.
“King Lee…” She called and soon joined me at the balcony.
“Good morning” She greeted with a warm smile.
“Morning…Where you able to sleep last night?” I asked and she nodded abruptly.
“Simone, i want you to tell me what you want now…just one thing you want me to do for you” I stated.
“I…I want to go back home – to my family” She muttered as tears scrolled down her pale cheeks.
I gasped at her for a moment.
She wants to go?…
“Will that make you happy?” I asked austerely.
“Yes, your majesty” She replied with a bow.
“Okay…you can prepare to leave…Raphael will give you keys to the cars I bought for you for this upcoming Christmas…he’ll also give you papers to your land and the money too”.
“I have cars and a land?” She asked stupefied.
I nodded with a smile.
She gasped and jumped on me giving me a ti-ght hu-g.
I wanted to push her away, instead I held her closer since she was leaving.
We unlocked from the hu-g and our foreheads met.
“I’ll never forget you King Lee…thank you so much” She said, brimful of smiles.
I couldn’t utter a word as she placed a ki-ss on my li-ps before running out of the room.
Then it struck me…since we got married, I’ve never ki-ssed her.

A knock came on the door and I almost jumped out of my pa-nts…
One of the maids who was pla-ying with Xenia got up and went to the door.
They were four guards. They barged into the room and grabbed me.
“No! Stop!” I yelled struggling.
“The king has ordered us to take you to the dungeon so it’s left for you to cooperate” The leader chided and they began p-ulling me away.
“Mommy!” Xenia called running after us and the maids held her.
My eyes watered as I realized what was going on…
I’m in so much trouble.
Dawn’s pov?
I stared at my reflection at the mirror as I brushed my teeth.
Can you believe I took a bath and wore my dress before realizing I forgot to brush.
Its probably because I slept off late last night.
After cleaning up, I returned back to the bedroom. Caroline was arranging my clothes
A knock came on the door and I cringed.
“Who could that be?” I walked to the door and got hold of the handle.
I hope its not for Duchess Tetrazzini.
I might end up screaming that I’m not a princess at all.
I glanced at Caroline before washing it open and i saw one of King Lee’s men standing there.
“The king requests for your prese-nce at his chambers” He said and my heart returned back to my body.
I just can’t wait to see him.
I left with the guard for the King’s chambers.

King Lee was sitting on the floor when I walked in and right before him was a bottle of wine.
Don’t tell me his drunk…
“Good morning, your Majesty” I said sitting opposite him on the floor.
“You don’t have to sit on the floor, Anna…princesses don’t do that..” He said and I shook my head.
“Its fine” I muttered looking down..
“Simone’s leaving…the divorce papers will be here tomorrow” He groused and drank from the bottle.
Whoa…
Simone’s leaving?
I had no idea.
“Are you getting drunk because you’re going to miss her?” I asked blandly.
“No…I just don’t like the feeling of being dumped. I rather ask her to leave than for her leaving on her own free will” He grumbled.
I batted my lashes.
This soul can’t be serious.
“So…how’s your wedding tutorial going?” He asked sm-irking.
“Its going well, your highness” I replied and he took my hand p-ulling me to stand up.
We sat on the bed and I’m surprised he doesn’t look or sound drunk one bit.
“Do you still remember what happened two days ago? The morning you found yourself on my bed?” He further asked.
“No, I don’t. Your highness” I responded perturbed.
“I want you to ki-ss me till you remember” He said and I shuddered.
My tongue shook fervently as I ran short of words.
“I don’t think its possible, your maj–”
“I don’t care…” He cooed leaning his back comfortably on the pillow.
I swallowed nothing and drew closer to him. I placed my li-ps on his aiming for his lower li-ps.
I don’t even know how to do this….
I froze at the sp-ot feeling the coldness of his li-ps. They tasted like berries and I realized its from the wine he drank.
I felt him cu-p my left cheek and starts ki-ssing me in the most se-nsual way.
My whole system vibr@te and I shuddered at each p@$$ing second.
He literally took over the ki-ss as he pathed my li-ps with his tongue and dived in.
I was starting to get short of breath and I pulled away pa-nting.
King Lee took a de-ep breath gazing at me.
I claimed his li-ps and his hands wrapped around my wa-ist. I can’t believe I’m ki-ssing him now…
We unlocked and he pulled me to lean on his che-st. I could hear his heart beating fast…
“Is the duchess coming today?” He asked and I cringed.
“Yes…” I muttered despondently.
“I know you don’t want to continue the wedding tutorial but I can’t stop her from coming. Most times, kings can’t fight the laws of the land. Before a princess is being married off to the king, she must go throu-ghtests and lessons from the duchess given to them” He stated stro-king my hair.
“Okay…your highness” I whispered sitting up properly.
He smiled and tou-ched my ne-ck brushing it softly.
There was a short silence and I gawped into his beautiful face.
“I’ll get you a ne-cklace, and I want to have your name plaited with gold…
So, whats the full name of Anna?” He asked breezily.
