Sebastian’s POV

I woke up with an excruciating headache and my stomach felt like it had been tied in a knot. I sluggishly dismounted my king size bed and went into the washroom to freshen up.

I chose a terrible night to drink myself drunk and now, I was left with a nasty hangover and a lost of memory of what took place last night.

After freshening up with a warm shower, I went back into my bedroom to get dress and found Emily sitting on the bed, de-ep in thoughts and her eyes focused to the great beyond.

“Good morning,” I greeted her and ti-ghtened my bath towel.

“Good morning. Sorry to invade your personal space but I think I nee-d a check-up from a doctor.”

“What’s wrong?”

She got off the bed with an annoyed sigh. “Morning sickness Sebastian.”

“Okay. I’ll get a doctor immediately.”

“Thanks,” she finished and walked towards the door. I moved to stop her. I know I had been tearing up about her and my cousin and that caused a hu-ge gape between us but I couldn’t see myself ignoring her any longer than I already did.

“Hey, I’m not mad anymore,” I told her.

“Of course you wouldn’t be mad anymore because she took your mind off things. Are we now even? You handed me my karma!” She was livid and I hadn’t a clue why.

“What are you talking about?”

“Don’t pla-y dumb with me..but I get it, you’re a single man and you could do whatever the hell you wanna do.”

“Emily, hold on, what are you talking about! I’m lost here!”

“Allow me to jog that puzzle memory of yours. Just a moment ago, Naomi was making her way out of your room! Right before you got into the shower!”

“Wow wow wow, Naomi wasn’t in my bedroom.”

“I SAW HER!”

“Wait a min….”

“Why am I here Sebastian? Why’d you bring me back here but more importantly, why is Naomi still here? You obviously don’t love her, you walked away from your wedding with her so why is she here and in your bedroom?”

“Emily, breathe.” She looked like she was having a fit and anger was clear on her face. I guided her to the bed when tears began pouring down her face.

“Sweetie, I’m so sorry. I never meant to hurt you but I have no idea of what you’re talking about with Naomi being in my bedroom because I honestly wasn’t aware of it.

She’s here because of this whole thing with my father and the neighboring country seeking a union. I swear I’m not going to lie to you, I tried to love her.”

She looked at me with wide eyes.

“I tried to fall for her but I couldn’t. My heart wouldn’t allow it to happen because it only wants you. I walked out on the wedding when it dawned on me but I’m still being for-ced to wed her and if I don’t, my father would give my title to David. You were there when he said it.”

She nodded her head yes and looked up to the heavens.

“What are you going to do?” she spoke after two minutes of pondering.

“I’m working on finding a way out of this damn marriage with Princess Naomi. That’s why you’re here. I really thought that you being pregnant with my baby would open my father’s eyes because blood and family means everything to a Kingdom.”

“I love you,” she said suddenly and threw her arms around me. I responded quickly, holding her face to mine before planting a lingering ki-ss. Her hands went to my hair and I hovered over her on the bed. Every inch of my man-hood wanted her, I didn’t have her in so long. Her soft mo-ans drove me crazy when I su-cked on her ne-ck and made my way to her ha-rdened pink Nip-ples. I nibb-led like a mouse nibbling on its cheese.

KNOCK KNOCK!!! KNOCKKKK!!!

Someone started knocking continuously on the bloody door. I Gr0-ned in disappointment as I stopped.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!

“I locked the door when I came in and I swear, if that’s Naomi, I’m going to hurt her,” Emily said. I chuckled lightly at her boldness but I got off the bed and went to the door.

“Sorry to disturb, sir, but your father request your prese-nce as soon as possible in the office,” one of my bo-dyguards said to me.

“Okay. I’ll be there shortly.” I watched him go before closing the door and locking it again. I went back to the most beautiful I’ve ever set eyes on.

“Looks like you don’t even have a headache,” she said as she trailed her fin-gers down my ba-re che-st.

“I do, but you’re making me feel better. You’re my Advil.” We laughed at the same time but I couldn’t do what I wanted to do to her. My father wanted me and she nee-ded a check-up. I called the Palace’s doctor over before going to see my father.

_________

“Yes father,” I informally greeted as I sat down on a chair in the office.

“Ah, Sebastian, great news. We’ve rescheduled the wedding date and the Queen of England would be attending. I think it’s great that the first wedding was canceled because she couldn’t attend but with this new wedding being lined up, she’s be here.”

“Dad, all I’m hearing from you is talks about the wedding and taking your place as King, but what about Emily, huh?

“Emily doesn’t matter to this KINGDOM!!”

“Yes she does matter because she matters to me!” For Christ sake, she’s pregnant with…”

“SHE’S PREGNANT WITH WHAT? She laid down with your cousin! How are you so sure that the baby is yours and not his?”

I swallowed ha-rd.

Emily’s POV

I waited by myself in the castle’s medical room while Sebastian was in a meeting with his head-strong father.

After what seems to be twenty very long minutes, a bubbly looking doctor with a wide smile entered the room, startling me just a tab bit since I was getting used to my own company.

“Hello there, I’m Dr. Samm and I’ll be your OBGNY. How are you feeling?” he asked as he placed a stethoscope around his ne-ck.

“I’ve been better. It’s mainly the morning sickness doing a total on me and I forgot my pills in the US,” I explained.

“That wouldn’t be an issue and morning sickness is very common and normal. Now, can you please lay backwards so I can conduct an ultrasound?”

“Sure,” I responded and obliged.

The cold gel hit my stomach as I lifted my shirt. Across from me, the monitor came to life with a tiny image of an early stage development of my baby.

“Excellent. I’d say about two months,” Dr. Samm stated and that made me rather unsettled.

“No, that’s not right. It can’t be two months already,” I protested against him.

“Yes it is. It’s right there on the screen,” he said.

“Nowhere on the screen does it say ‘two months.’ I’ve already seen my family’s OBGYN and he stated I’m two weeks, which was last week, so I should be three weeks now. Not two months!”

“Miss. Hollen, I @$$ure you that I’m a doctor and I know exactly what I’m talking about. You’re already two months pregnant, not three weeks, dear.”

My eyes welled up with tears and my heart felt like it was going to explode at any given moment. My che-st felt like it was being crushed in by the world’s largest brick as I wrecked my br@in for everything to make se-nse to me.

If I was two months pregnant, then it obviously meant that Sebastian wasn’t the father of my baby. My br@in tried to recall the encounter I had with David. He had a condom on. Could he have taken it off during our activities? No. Of course not, I would have known if he did so. I’m no fool.

“How are we doing in here?” a voice came. I looked up and saw Sebastian with a pleasing smile on his face as I wiped the gel off my stomach area before sitting it.

“Wonderful. Congratulations. In the next seven months, you’ll have a bouncing baby. It’s too early to tell the se-x,” Dr. Samm finished and handed me a prescription before leaving.

I watched Sebastian’s eyes narrowed in confusion and his eyebrows crea-sed together. I felt intimidation rattling in my stomach as I faced him.

“You’re two months pregnant, how?” His words can calmly but behind that, I knew he was very much angry. He just didn’t want to yell at me or he just wanted answers.

“I’m just as confused,” I started.

“Emily, I swear, if you’re lying to me right now, you and I are going to have a very serious problem. I want the truth. How are you two months pregnant?”

“I DON’T KNOW!” I yelled from frustration and mental exhaustion, “It makes no se-nse to me but Dr. Samm insisted that I’m two months pregnant although my family’s OBGYN said I was two weeks! My mother took me to him after my test showed positive! She was right there with me! I should be three weeks now! I don’t know how I’m two months!” The hot tears poured down my face and I was expecting Sebastian to shout some more, or to walk away from me and shut the door loudly after him, but instead, he pulled me into his arms and titled my face upwards to his. Using his thumbs, he wiped away my tears.

“It’s okay Emily. I’m still here with you.”

“Sebastian, I swear I’m not lying to you. I cannot lie to you,” I continued to sob like a child.

__________

Princess Naomi’s POV

“Well that didn’t work,” I fumed as the King and I watched the displa-y from the camera on his computer’s screen. We watched as Sebastian took Emily into his arm and wiped her tears away and finally ki-ssed her.

“What does it take to get this boy away from her!? I’m tried almost everything and nothing seems to work. I @$$umed he’ll be angry as a bull if there were indications that the baby wasn’t his!” the King shouted.

I was indeed hurt. I loved Sebastian too and that night when I sle-pt in his bed, meant so much to me. I didn’t care that he un-der the influence- the alcohol stank his breath. I just wanted him.

“I don’t know what else to do,” the King finished and threw himself into his big arm chair, defeated.

“Kill her,” I said with a laugh and no meaning behind it.

His eyes darted over to me.

“I was only joking,” I said quickly before he could lash out at me.

“No. That’s an idea.”

“Oh, come on. Are we just going to walk up to her and kill her?”

“Of course not. There are so many ways to make her death looks like an accident.”

An evil smile pla-yed upon his li-ps and I was for it. If it means that I’ll be with Sebastian, then so be it.
