Harley was quite surprised with what Cyrus did.
“Sit.”, He ordered and she sat on the edge of his bed.
She bit her li-ps nervously, he was making her nervous again.
“How is your back?”, He asked her as he put his hand into his pocket.
“It’s okay?”, She replied and again there was an awkward silence between them.
Harley’s courage suddenly disappeared.
“I told you not to get involved with me, I have many enemies that wants to destroy me. You couldn’t even even endure 50 whips.”, He said.
“I did, my body doesn’t hurt like that.”, She replied not sparing him a glance.
“Thank you for believing me.”, She said but he said nothing.
He opened his mouth to say something but decided against it.
Harley had so many questions to ask him but she just couldn’t.
She wants to know about Ariel and wanted to confirm if Magnus was telling her the truth when he said that he killed his family.
She just wants to know about him but he doesn’t look like he trusts her fully.
“Your wound would not take time to heal.”, He said and Harley wondered if he wasn’t going to say anything about the confession she made earlier.
Then she thought of the plan Emily said.
She would purposely get drunk and kis-s him to see what he was going to do next, though she was not drunk but now was the right time.
The thought of ember betraying him, made him very angry.
He must admit, Magnus really got to him.
“Lord Cyrus can I ask a question?”, She asked with a puppy eyes.
“I am not answering any of your questions, you can go to your room.”, He said and with that he shut the door after him.

“Is he mad at me?”, She asked and after some time she left.

Alex was asked to gather everyone in the hall.
“Harley is innocent and ember has been found guilty.”, Alex announced and everyone gasped including ember herself.
She didn’t un-derstand what was going on, why are they announcing that she is guilty?
“Harley is innocent because it has been proven that she was telling the truth, ember is a betrayal to this academy, she joined hands with the enemy.”, Alex said and ember suddenly became very scared.
She was already exp-osed and no matter what she says, it won’t even save her now.
“Cyrus please help me, I joined because of you, it’s not because I want to destroy you.”, She pleaded and Cyrus just walked up to her.
“I’m really disappointed ember, you would be part of the last people I would suspect are betraying me. I can’t believe that you were like this.”, He said.
“Oh my!!! Can’t believe that you are feeling emotional right now … She did what she had to do or else you wouldn’t be hers.”, Magnus said and everyone turned to him.
“How did he get here again?”, Everyone wondered.
“What are you talking about?”, Cyrus asked.
“Let’s forget about that — why did way, how is your lover and child? I heard that she is still alive, you are lucky that I didn’t taste her but don’t worry since she is still alive, there are still many opportunities for me.”, He said and Cyrus clenched his fist.
“You can have her, she isn’t important to me anyway.”, Cyrus said and everyone turned to look at Harley.
She has never felt to embarra-ssed and unwanted before.
Even if she isn’t important to him, how can he say that bluntly Infront of everyone.
“Oh is that so? Then it means I can have her.”, Magnus said with a smile.
“You can”, he replied and Harley didn’t know when a tear dropped from her eye.
Was she now an object that they were taking turns to use.
“Harley the man you love do much that you were willing to fight for just said how much you are useless to him, how about you go with me and become my queen?”, He said and everyone turned to Harley.
“Of course, it is one sided anyway, with time I will get over it.”, She said as she walked towards him.
“You are a coward Cyrus, you claim not to have anything for the same lady, you had collected the whipping for.”, Magnus said and everyone was shocked but Cyrus was more shocked.
“How did — did he know that he had collected beating for Harley”
“What are you talking about?”, Cyrus pretended.
Maybe he was really a coward like Magnus said but he was just doing whatever he can to protect the woman he loves.
“What do you mean?”, Harley asked.
“You don’t need to know everything now, Cyrus knows what I am talking about.”, He said and Cyrus said nothing.
“What are you doing Magnus? This wasn’t the plan.”, Ember said.
“Let’s go Harley.”, He said dragging her with him but Cyrus quickly stopped him.
“I just changed my mind, you can’t have everything you want, you should also work ha-rd for it. She is not going with you, I take back everything I said.”, Cyrus said holding Harley hand ti-ghtly.
“It’s too late, you don’t need …”
Harley was still saying when Cyrus cut in.
“You can leave with your elite, I’m not letting go of Hailey.”, Cyrus said.
Everyone just watched the drama that was going on confused.
“Cyrus please…”
“Leave with Magnus, I don’t want to see you here.”, He said.
“Let go of me.”, Harley said stubbornly trying to release her hand from his.
“We have to talk.”, He said and they disappeared.
Harley found herself in his room again.
She was just too angry, she was angry that he had humiliated her in front of everyone.
It was okay not to reciprocate her feelings but insulting her because of it is really out of place and she can’t stand it anymore.
He was even giving her out to Magnus.
“We have nothing to talk about, I just really need to leave this place and stop seeing your face.”, She said.
“Did you really have to humiliate me Infront of everyone? How can you just played with my feelings like that? Should loving you be this hard? Why are you doing this to me? Why do I love you so much? It hurts to see you so cold to me but I tried to un-derstand but playing with my feelings? I can’t take that, if you can’t forget whatever Ariel did to it, it is probably because you still love her”, She said in tears.
Cyrus just grabbed her ne-ck and crashed his li-ps on hers.
He was tired of restraining himself.
She froze cos she wasn’t expecting that, her anger slowly went away as the kis-s got dee-per.
She didn’t realize when she closed her eyes and started kis-sing him back.
He made sure he su-cked her li-ps in every angle.
She wrapped her hands on his ne-ck encouraging me.
“Oh…!”, She mo-an ed in his mouth.
This isn’t her first kis-s but it was her first mind blowing kis-s, her boyfriend only pec-ked her on the li-ps twice and that was it but Cyrus was exploring everything and was driving her crazy.
The way he teased her by playing in her mouth made her to think if he planned this from the beginning.
Then slowly they broke the kis-s and they just stared de-eperly into each other eyes breathing heavily.
“Is this a dream? Did he … Wait! Am I day dreaming again?”, Harley asked herself.
“I’m sorry.”, He said and Harley’s heart started beating very fast.
“Is he going to say that the kis-s was a mistake?”, She wondered.
“No you don’t need to be sorry, I know it was a mistake, I won’t take it serious.”, She said.
She just thought that it would be less painful and hurtful if she says it first.
“I’m not sorry about the kis-s, I’m sorry for hurting your hurting your feelings.”, He said and Harley felt that it was too good to be real.
She felt like she was day dreaming but the problem was how would she return to the present because this dream was really giving her false hope.
If this is truly a dream then I better grab this chance and kis-s him all I want.”, She said as he pulled him closer to kis-s him all over again.
