Chapter 33:
Bella ✓
” It’s the full moon tonight, how are we going to do with Diana? ” I just discovered it was only Micheal who has been listening to me.
Derek on the other side buried his face with his palms, staring at nothing in p@rticular. He was lost in thought, I can feel it but… What exactly is he thinking?
I would have just sneaked into his thoughts but no… I’d rather just go ahead asking.
” Derek? Derek? ” I called but he didn’t answer. How de-ep is his thoughts that he can’t hear me calling him? I thought.
” Derek are you listening? ” I snapped my f!ngersat him, causing him to flin-ch. ” Are you alright? ” I asked.
” Yes. Yes, I am. ”
I rose my eyebrow at him, ” Really? ”
He sighed. ” What is it that bothers you? ”
” It’s about Diana. ” He sighed again,
” What happen to her? ”
” The doctor said there’s this purple colour in her eyes which keeps blinking continuously. ”
” I’ve never seen her eyes turn purple since she c@m£ here. ”
” It doesn’t show visibly, it blinks inside and you can only see it when you look closer. He believes there’s something inside her and… and he thinks it has been with her since I brou-ght her here. ”
” So… what are we gonna call this purple eyes? ”
” I wish I know. ” He sighs, ” I doubt it has to be a wolf. ”
” Don’t worry, there’s nothing to worry about, it’s the full moon tonight, we’ll probably get to know what exactly she is. ”
He stared at me, and for a moment he took his gaze away shooking.
Greg walked in without a knock, so nob©dy knew when he entered. ” The full moon always have answers to our questions. But sometimes, we don’t have to rely on this… full moon. ” He sm-irked.
We all stared at him as if we were controlled with a remote. ” Hello brother. ” He smiled at Derek who waved a sm-irk at him.
” You ha-rd ly come here, so if I may ask how the heck did you hear us? ” I said, pretending to be annoyed.
” Oh, sweetheart, I was just being so concerned since I heard the news. How’s Diana? ” He asked, ushering himself on one of the chairs.
” She’s fine, probably in here room or with May. ” I answered. ” You said something while you entered, what do you mean by that? ”
” Yes, the full moon might sometimes be an answer key to the wolves, but don’t you think we should for once reason some questions with our minds… like the humans? ”
” Okay, darling can you just st©p the parables and be specific for once? ”
He chuckled, ” I’ve been with Diana before… once to be precise but then I discovered about the purple colour in her eyes. At first I thought it was something to do with the sun rays but as it kept blinking every second, I knew there must be something behind it. Did the doctor say what it means? ” Referring to Derek.
” No, ” he shook his head. ” he didn’t say anything. I mean, he doesn’t know either. ”
” Do you have any idea on what it could mean? ” For the first time in the conversation, Micheal talked.
” I don’t wanna believe what I am thinking but… ”

We sat not at the garden this time, but at the road walk p@rt of the castle. It was actually at the back of the castle, filled with beautiful trees and gras-ses.
It almost, or would I rather say, it looks exactly like the garden. Sun reflection ha-rd ly gets to this place and it was a lot difficult to comprehend it’s beauty.
Diana would plug out some flowers and have them placed on her hair. She would hum a song to herself but loud enough for me to hear it.
” You seem happy today, ” I said, ” what’s the secret? ”
” Oh, come on May, you should know alre-ady. ” She gr-unted.
” I can only presume your happiness is because of the majesty. Am I right? ”
” No. ”
” Then tell me. ”
” Everything about this place and the garden makes me happy, how many times will I have to tell you, May? ”
” I’m sorry for asking but your happiness doesn’t look like it’s just the garden or this place that has caused it. It looks more like you got fv¢ked or something. ”
” fv¢ked? ” I yelled. ” Why the hell will I be fv¢ked? ”
” That’s because alpha Derek might have sle-pt with you last night. ” I win-ked. I notice her cheeks flush red. ” He did sleep with you, right? ”
” No, he didn’t. ” She opened her mouth to say something, but ended up saying a ” no. ”
We were quiet for a while, then she started laughing. ” Did you hear what those guards are saying? ” She pointed at the two guards who were standing at the courtyard. ” They’re talking about a p©rn video they had watch last night. ”
I stared surprised at her, those guards were too far away from us for her to easily hear what they were actually saying. I heard what they had said but…
She just heard them too? How the hell is that possible??
” The one at the right, ” she continued, ” he said he almost got soa-ked while watching a girl take off her cloth. He almost masturbated himself. Yelk,,, disgusting. ”
” Yeah, that’s so disgusting. ” I don’t know if I was actually listening but, I was damn so surprised than I was listening. She was saying exactly what they were saying and I was like…

He thought she was gonna return late last night but luckily, he heard her voice then he had to sneak out from the backyard to take his neighbor’s daughter home. ”

” Yeah, you have to be. ” This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever, ever seen.

After I had esc-rted her to her room and did some certain things for her, I headed for alpha Derek’s office.
I offered a knock and a male figure c@m£ to open it. He looks just like alpha Derek but no, he’s got a green eyes unlike alpha Derek.
He sm-irked, moving aside for me to enter. ” Thank you. ” I said softly, moving in.
” May, ” Bella said surprised, I won’t blame her, I always show up in the alpha’s office only if there was a problem. ” Did something go wrong? ” She asked.
I shook my head, ” No, but it’s about Diana. ”
” What happened to her? ” Alpha Derek gave me a stern look, re-ady to b!ow up if there really was a problem.
” No. No, not at all. Diana is.. she’s alright but… ”
” But what? ” Michael asked.
” She… She acted strange earlier. ”
” Like? ”
” Like her eyes, it was kinda glowing inside. ”
” Purple? ” The one who looked like the alpha asked.
” Yes, purple. And not only that, she was able to listen to the two guards at the courtyard, she was able to hear what they were saying. ”
Bella sighed frustratedly and so did alpha Derek. ” I think she has the ability to listen to far distance. Don’t you think… this might be because of the bite? ” I said shivering if he would yell at me for asking such question.
” Possibly. ” He softly said.

Chapter 34:
The evening was slowly approaching but the moon was nowhere to be found at the meantime.
Diana sat on her be-d wondering about a lot of things in her head, her legs folded to her che-st as if the night held danger for her.
She sighed a million times as the doctors words repeated in her head.
” You’ll begin to notice some abilities but that’s something we’ll find out during the full moon. But for now, we say your a human. ”
And if her maths was right, it was full moon tonight. ” No, you’re not a wolf. I can’t be a wolf. ” She mumbled to herself.
Then she remembered Pamela’s letter. Since she took it from un-derneath the lamp stand, she hasn’t opened it yet.
She has no idea of what was written in it. She took it out from her makeup drawer where she had kept it.

I slowly open the letter as if it was some kinda atomic bomb letter or something.
Or maybe I’m just being too scared of what is written in it. Was it something that has to do with the future… My future??
Why do I feel like what ever her instincts had told her is the truth? Why do I feel like nothing seems to be going right?
My heart is heating ha-rd against my che-st for some letter?
Its definitely not how you think, it’s more to it than just being frightened.
I finally opened it, staring at the writing but not re-ading it. I sighed, returning my gaze back to the beginning of the letter.
” Dear Diana, re-ading this means you have seen my
letter. I know I should have just come to you face to
face and have it discussed with you, but I can’t.
But I am happy you are re-ady to listen to what I have
to say.
First, I wanna say a big thank you for everything. You
might be wondering why I am saying this, I think you
deserve it more than anyone. Since my whole life, the
only thing I’ve always wanted is to love and to be
loved. I’ve always doubted I’ll find someone like that
in my life, but you proved me wrong. I did find
someone, and that’s you.
Now, this is why I had written this letter to you. I
always doubt my instincts and I end up regretting it.
But this time, I ain’t gonna doubt what it tells me this
time. Diana, if no one knows, I alre-ady know what you
are. I felt it the moment Reyhon bit you. And when
Derek did the same, I knew you aren’t gonna be the
same again. I don’t fear you but, I just think it’s safer
if you have to find out what you are yourself. The full
moon will, I’m very sure of that. But just know one
thing for sure, you are no longer a human, Diana.
You’re more than that.
I will miss you, Diana. I wish to meet you someday. ”
Diana held the paper to her che-st, small drops of tears ran out of her eyes. ” I will miss you too, Mela. Till we meet someday. ”

She followed May as they headed to a room. ” Where are we going to? ” She asked while she trailed behind her.
” We’ll find out soon and besides, we’re almost there. ” May as-sured her with a smile.
She rolled her eyes tiredly, ” My legs are alre-ady tired and it’s almost like we’re having a missionary journey to nowhere. ” She gr-unted.
” Don’t worry, Diana, we’re there alre-ady. ” She opened the door which led to a dim light room.
” What’s this place? ” She asked and just then, she heard Derek’s voice.
May left the room, shutting it gently after her. She went further to where Derek, Bella, Micheal and Greg stood.
” Derek? ” She called and he turned to look at her.
He c@m£ close to her, holding her cheeks. ” How do you feel? ” He asked, worriedly.
” Yeah, I’m fine. ” She gave an as-suring smile. ” I really am. ”
” We should get everything re-ady. ” Bella said from where she stood.
” Get what re-ady? ” Diana asked confused.
” Diana, ” she heaved a sigh, ” it’s the full moon tonight and we want to check what kind of wolf you’ve become. We actually wanna help you find out what you are. ”
She nodded, ” I un-derstand now. I’m re-ady. ”
” Hey sweetheart, ” Greg c@m£ closer to her, with a smile on his face. ” it’s been long we last met. ”
She chuckled softly, ” Miss me alre-ady? ” She pla-yfully asked
” Always. ” He said and Derek rolled his eyes. ” Well, just as Bella just said, we just wanna help. ”
” So, are we just gonna stand here or, is there something else? ” She asked, staring at the four of them.
Bella brou-ght a big chain, one big enough to push a trailer. But surprisingly to her, Bella held it like she was holding a tea cu-p.
She wi-de-ned her eyes, ” What is that for? ” She asked, still not able to believe that would be for her.
” Can you get something much better than that. plea-se? ” Derek said, calmly.
Bella rolled her eyes, ” Fine. ”
He turns to Diana, ” Don’t worry, everything is gonna be just fine. ”
” I know. ”
Just then, Bella brou-ght a medium sized chain. She looked at Derek for any opposition but he said nothing.
” Guess this is much better. ” She whispered to herself.
Bella used the chain to hold Diana in her both hands and feet, chained to the wall.
” You might turn and… this is gonna hurt badly but… ” He sounded more worried every second.
” Derek, I’ll be fine, okay? I’m re-ady for this. ” He nods. ” Just in case I turn and… ” looks at the window, ” sneak out of that window, ” looks back at him. “Don’t hesitate to come find me. ”
” I’ll come find you, I promise. ”
While everyone were waiting for the full moon, Diana kept pinching her f!ngers.
Her fears were increasing as she thought of how it felt transforming to a wolf. She shut her eyes, sighing heavily.
” The moon is near. ” Bella said as they stared out of the window. ” What now? ” She asked.
” We wait. ” Replied Greg.
Derek has been staring at Diana who was staring back at him. His hand folded around his che-st and the other support his jaw.
She waved a smile at him which he responded back.
Then he went to tell Micheal something. Her b©dy began to itch her, first from her n£¢k then to the back of her ears.
Her toes too, and she wasn’t getting enough of the itchy pains, she started moving her head at both sides continuously, ma-king a low growling sound.
Bella noticed it, ” Derek, ” she silently called him, and when he turned to look at her, she pointed at Diana.
” Diana? ” He rushed to her, holding her both cheeks, raising it up to his. ” Diana? ”
She opened her closed eyes, her eyes dark red in colour. She rowled, breaking free from the strong chains. Her b©dy twisted ma-king a cracking sound.
Her cloth to-re as her b©dy slowly transformed into fur. Her teeth and f!ngerssharpen into knives.
She screamed. She howled.
Derek’s eyes wi-de-ned in fear as he made two steps backwards. She ran to the window, jumping out of it to the forest.
She sniffed in the air, catching the meaty scent of the air. She has just grown hungry.
Derek moved few steps backwards, with full speed he made it to the window. He jumped.
” Derek! ” Bella tried to st©p him but Micheal held her back.
” Let him do it. ” She sighed.
