“Gosh Echo,you’re driving me crazy. I told you not to drink too much” Athena gro-aned as she carried Echo into the room on her back
She dropped Echo on the bed and she gro-aned loudly
“fuc-k she’s so heavy” Athena mumbled and tried getting off the bed
“Athena” Echo called drunkily and Athena faced her
Echo grabbed her hand
“It hurts” She said in tears
“What?” Athena asked,looking at her
“My heart hurts” Echo said
“I love you Athena” She muttered in addition
“And I love you too,we are best friends” Athena smiled and tou-ched her hair
Echo shook her head
“I love you more than just a friend….that’s….what’s killing me slowly. I don’t know how it started…but I’m in love with you Athena” She broke into more tears and hug-ged her
Athena only stared at her in shock
“I want to be the only one around you…just tell me you don’t really like Trace….it will break my heart even more if you do” Echo said

Athena sighed out as she came back to reality
Since Friday night,she couldn’t take that scene from her head.
“Why did she have to say all that when she won’t remember any of it?” Athena muttered and rou-ghher hair
Almost immediately,Echo came in
“Athena!! You didn’t come to the training ground,I was waiting for you” Echo said as she rushed in
Athena immediately stood up from the bed
“That’s…..right…..I….I was just….fuc-k” Athena stuttered and bite her li-ps
“Are you sick?” Echo tried touching her but Athena immediately moved back
Echo raised her brows
“I have something urgent to do,catch you later” Athena smiled and immediately rushed out of the room
“What’s wrong with her??” Echo muttered
“She’s been acting this way since Saturday,did I probably did something silly on Friday night?? She should tell me at least,I can’t even remember anything” She sighed and went into the bathroom
As Athena left the room,she bumped into Trace and Star
“Hey Athena” Star smiled at her
“Hi” Athena mumbled,pa-ssing them by without looking up
Trace and Star exchanged glances and then turned to look at Athena at the same time
“Is something wrong with her?” Star asked
“Probably,she look somehow” Trace muttered,staring at Athena until she was out of sight.

“Promise momma you will be a good girl” Marissa said as she hold Beauty,she’s starting her new school Today.
“I promise momma” Beauty said
Marissa stopped and turned to the two guards following them
They immediately bowed
“I will drive her,you two can follow in another car” She said
“Yes boss” They bowed again and Marissa carried Beauty into the car
She also entered and drove off
The guards and driver followed in another car also

ROOFTOP**
“You’re here” Chicago’s voice said from behind
He turned and their eyes met,he immediately looked away and ignored her as she walked closer.
“Hey” Chicago smiled and sat down beside him
“I want to be alone” Blaze muttered without looking at her
“You still look heartbroken” Chicago said and tried touching his hair
Blaze slap her hand off
“What the fuc-k do you think you’re doing? I hate body contact” He half yelled
Chicago smiled and nodded
“You’re finally back to the Blaze I know” She said and Blaze raised his brows
“A Cold,quiet and yet dangerous guy. Who hate talking to people and doesn’t appreciate body contacts” She said
Blaze scoffed
“You must have really studied me so much,so stop talking to me since you know I hate it” He said
“If you are not over Marissa yet,I can help” Chicago said and Blaze faced her
“Help?? What type of help can you offer? This is crazy” Blaze chuckled
“You don’t know? If you want to get over a woman then you have to make use of another woman….”
“Stop it Chicago,it won’t even work. Coz to me you’re not a woman” Blaze said and stood up
Chicago immediately got up also
“Then! What am I?! What the fuc-k is in Marissa that I don’t have?? I’m pretty too,I’m s-exy,There’s nothing special about her!” Chicago yelled
Blaze faced her
“I never said you’re not pretty Chicago,but I’m not impressed. So stop wasting your time coz I will never look at you,not even once” Blaze said and walked away
“Motherfuc-ker!!” Chicago screamed,she immediately wiped the slow tears coming from her eyes
“I will make you regret saying this to me” She muttered

KINGS&QUEENS ELEMENTARY**
“Bye baby!” Marissa waved at Beauty as the teacher took her away
“Bye momma” Beauty waved back
Marissa looked at the guards and they followed Beauty’s teacher
Marissa turned back to the principal and she smiled
“It’s our honour to have such an important parent in our school ma’am” The principal said,smiling
“Thank you,and I hope you take care of her. I don’t want even a scratch on her,and I am sure you will do a great job” Marissa said
“Of course,you can count on us” The principal said
Marissa stood up
“I will take my leave now” She said and walked out of the office
She got to her car and went in,she drove out of the school.
After some minutes of driving,she stopped in front of a mall
“I should get that jealous boyfriend of mine something” She smiled and went in.
“Is that not Marissa?” Uranus asked Midnight beside her from their car
“Where is she coming from?” Uranus muttered
Midnight chuckled
“Venom must be more romantic than I thought,she’s glowing” Midnight muttered
“I guess” Uranus laughed
“Well,there will be a show tonight” Midnight sm-irked
“Can’t wait” Uranus smiled and drove off

“I will take these” Marissa dropped an expensive looking watch and bracelet
“Three hundred dollars ma’am” The cashier said
Marissa brou-ght out her card and gave her
“Here” She wrapped them for Marissa
A call came on Marissa’s phone and she immediately left the mall

As soon as Marissa arrived,she walked straight to the power room,everyone seems to be waiting for her already.
They all bowed in respect including Galaxy and Chicago even though they seems mad about it but they have no choice
“Is everything okay?” Marissa asked
“We went on a mission last night but we were outsmarted,it’s the first time such thing will happen here” Phoenix spoke up
“And now today,I found out that some details about the last mission was probably messed with on my system” Athena added
“I’m still super mad about it,we would have brou-ght the cash home if those bastards didn’t show up before us,but then,how did they know about everything? I’m confused” Lilith said
Marissa didn’t say a word as she listened
“You all can go,we have something else to do tonight,let’s meet by then” Marissa said and walked out of the power room
“Wait…..seriously?? Just like that? Are we not complaining here??” Chicago spoke up
“I told you she’s not worth it,she have no idea what we are talking about here” Galaxy said
“Stop thinking with your p**sy,I’m sure she knows what she’s doing” Phoenix scoffed and walked out of the power room
Everyone also left aside Galaxy and Chicago
“I can’t believe they all accept her at once,are they blind?” Chicago scoffed
“I just can’t believe I’m going to follow her order” Galaxy sighed

LEX’S APARTMENT**
“Shannon Rennox is a crazy drug lord,what are you planning this time?” Blade asked as Lex showed them the picture of Shannon
“I’m glad you know him,we had a deal and it should be carried out tonight” Lex said
“Tonight? Why will you take such deals without our consent??” Blade gro-aned
“We can’t go tonight,we have another mission on ground godfather” Venom said
“Don’t worry about that,Marissa will take care of it” Lex smiled and Venom sighed
“So you two should go to NX empire and get things done” Lex said

VENOM’S SUITE**
Marissa was pacing around the room when Venom came in
He hug-ged her from behind and ki-ssed her ne-ck
“I wanted to go with you,but godfather is ha-rd to deal with” Venom said,ki-ssing her ne-ck continuously
“Don’t worry,I took care of things” Marissa faced him
“Do you know we were outsmarted last night?” She asked
“I heard” Venom said
“It’s the first time this is happening,Athena said some details were messed with too” Marissa said and Venom raised his brows
“What are you trying to say?” He asked
“I’m afraid there’s a spy here Michael….” Marissa said
“Spy? You think so?” Venom asked
Marissa nodded
“But I’m not really sure,this is happening for the first time so I can’t judge now. I will possibly find out tonight” Marissa said
Venom nodded and ki-ssed her
“I need to go somewhere too,I won’t be there with you tonight,so don’t get hurt…for me” he said
Marissa smiled
“You trust me right?” She asked
“I’m sorry,I still get worried about you so crazily. So I don’t trust you,but be safe” Venom said
Marissa nodded and ki-ssed him more de-eperly

7PM**
Marissa walked out of the bedroom,she was fully dressed,
She was putting on a trouser over a hoodie,and then a hat on her head,all black.
She met Madam Zuna feeding Beauty in the dinning room
“Are you leaving too?” Madam Zuna asked
“Yea” Marissa replied and ki-ssed Beauty’s cheek
“I will be back,wish momma good luck” She said
Beauty ki-ssed her cheek also and Marissa smiled
“Be careful,Michael and Blade are not here either,I’m worried” Madam Zuna said
Marissa nodded
“I will be fine,trust me” Marissa said

“Are we still going or not,where is our so called boss lady?” Galaxy gro-aned
“Can’t you at least rest and be patient?” Echo snapped
“Shut up” Galaxy snapped back
Phoenix roll her eyes and kept quiet
Marissa finally showed up
“Finally you’re here” Phoenix said and Marissa smiled
“I’m sorry for keeping you all waiting” she said
“Don’t ever apologize,it’s a sin” Trace said and Marissa chuckled
“But,where is Blaze,Seth and Idris?” Marissa asked
“Oh,I think godfather have another a-ssignment for them” Star replied
‘Why is everyone so busy tonight?’ Marissa thought inwardly
“Let’s go” She said and entered the car with ,Phoenix and Athena,the other four also went in another car
“Are you sure today will be different?” Athena asked
“Let’s hope,if today is the same. That means there’s someone among us giving them every information and our moves” Marissa said
“I was about to say that,does that mean we’ve got a spy?” Phoenix chuckled
“Then whoever it is is fuc-king dead” Athena scoffed
After about an hour drive,they got to the venue.
Athena stopped the car and they all came out,the other got down from the second car also
But almost immediately,the car packed at the other side started leaving
Marissa immediately brou-ght out her gun and shot two of the tyres,the car stopped with a loud noise
Everyone pointed their guns out waiting for the people in it to come out.
The doors opened and instantly the people got out and ran off
“Go after them!” Phoenix shouted and everyone ran after them except Marissa
‘So it’s true,there’s really a spy. It’s definitely one of the gang members’ she thought and then looked up
Her eyes caught with Midnight who released an evil sm-irk before running
Marissa didn’t wait,she followed her in a fast speed.
Midnight kept on running while Marissa was after her,until finally they got to the rooftop,each breathing hardly from the long run.
Midnight faced Marissa
“Finally,I’m seeing you perfectly this way….Marissa. Heard you’re now the boss lady,your godfather seems amazing” Midnight smiled
Marissa nodded
“I guess you have someone who deliver all the information about us.” She said
“How smart” Midnight laughed
“But too bad you won’t live to figure out who the person is,coz I’m gonna kill you right here” Midnight said
“Seriously? You’re so sure about it” Marissa chuckled
“Not my fault,I’ve always wanted you dead” Midnight sm-irked and twisted the knife In her hand in a fast motion before throwing it toward Marissa’s eyes.
Marissa immediately ducked it but while doing that Midnight already got behind her and threw an heavy kick on her back
Marissa fell on the floor
“Shit” she cursed inwardly,glaring at Midnight who sm-irked at her
She walked closer to Marissa on the floor and tried throwing another kick on her face
Marissa brou-ght out a knife and shoved it right inside her feet
“Ahhhhh!!”Midnight screamed out and fell on the floor as her leg started bleeding badly.
Marissa sm-irked at her and got up,she was about moving closer when a body jumped between them. Marissa looked up and found Gunner pointing a gun at her
“Don’t you dare move” Gunner’s de-eper voice said and Marissa glared at him dangerously
“I will love to see Venom cry for you” He sm-irked and instantly he shot Marissa twice in her che-st
Marissa let out a painful gro-an and grabbed her che-st
Gunner sm-irked and shot her again and like that,she fell and dropped dead on the ground
