“My name is Beauty,I’m his girlfriend and you?” Beauty asked
Venom and Marissa both exchanged glances before turning to Beauty at once.
“Oh,Beauty you look really Beautiful. I’m Marissa” Marissa smiled and tou-ched her hair
“Nice meeting you” Beauty also smiled out her dimples
“You too cute” Marissa said
Venom chuckled
Beauty faced Venom again
“Baby” she called
“Hmm?” Venom answered and Marissa’s eyes wide-ned
“I’m hungry” Beauty said
Before Venom could reply,Madam Zuna entered
“I prepared dinner” She said
“Let’s go and eat” Venom dropped her and she immediately hold Venom’s hand
Marissa watched as everyone walked out of the room
“Did she just called him…baby?? And he answered??” Marissa laughed
“Who is that kid?”
“Marissa come over here” She heard madam Zuna’s voice and she immediately went out
Venom and Beauty are already sitting down at the table while Madam Zuna dish out the meal
“I guess I will just come back” Marissa muttered and Madam Zuna looked at Venom and he raised his brows,Madam Zuna hoist her nose and Venom roll his eyes
“You should join us” Venom muttered and Marissa turned
“Really?” She smiled
“Of course” Madam Zuna smiled and immediately shifted back a seat for Marissa to sit
“Hey,why are you not eating?” Venom asked Beauty who was only staring at the food in front of her
Beauty looked at him with her poppy eyes
Madam Zuna was laughing inwardly,Marissa also stared at them
“What do you want?” Venom asked
“Momma always feed me” Beauty said
“What? You can’t eat on your own?” Venom asked
“I can’t believe you Michael,are you going to be a good father?? She’s still a kid,I don’t think she’s more than four or five” Madam Zuna said
“Did my mom fed me till I was five?” Venom asked
“I’m still feeding you” Madam Zuna said and Marissa laughed
“Come here kid,I will feed you” Madam Zuna smiled and carried Beauty and walked away Leaving just Venom and Marissa on the table.
There was silence,Marissa couldn’t eat. She stared at Venom for a while,how can he look even perfect when eating?? Isn’t this the first time she’s seeing him eat?? Wow
Venom suddenly looked up and their eyes met,Marissa froze and bite her li-ps.
“What,why are you not eating?” He asked
“Can I call you Michael anytime I want?” Marissa asked and Venom kept quiet for a while
“When we are alone” He finally said and Marissa smiled
“Noted,Michael” She grinned
Venom continue eating while Marissa also kept on daydreaming
‘Why does this look like a date? Am I going crazy? Will he ever take me on a date??’ Different thoughts,going on in her head as she stared at his moving li-ps
“Can you just eat and stop staring at me?” Venom asked without looking up
Marissa closed her eyes feeling embarra-ssed before she started eating.
Venom stood up when he was satisfied,he walked in without saying a word to her.
Madam Zuna came in immediately
“Why are you just coming?” Marissa asked
“Don’t be dumb,,I only wanted you two to be together” Madam Zuna whispered and Marissa smiled,her eyes went to Beauty who was already asleep
“I will take her to my room,I hope the little creature doesn’t wake up in the midnight asking for him” Madam Zuna said and Marissa chuckled
“She’s really cute,but then….who is she to Michael?” Marissa asked
“Oh you don’t know” Madam Zuna told her what Venom explained to her
“Wow,He’s so nice” Marissa smiled
“I can see you two are getting along” Madam Zuna said
“I want more” Marissa muttered
“Then keep pushing it” Madam Zuna winked at her
“I need to go..but the….”
“Don’t worry,I will wash the dishes and clean up. Just go” Marissa said
“Thank you” Madam Zuna adjusted Beauty in her arm before going out of the suite
Marissa stood up and packed the plates to the kitchen,she dropped them gently into the sink and started washing.
She sighed out when she remembered last night,how can he totally forget about everything?? Why would he say all that to her and ended up forgetting them all??
She wasn’t concentrating on what she was washing and the knife sliced throu-ghher thumb
“Ouch!!!” Marissa screamed and immediately dropped the knife as the blood started coming out
“Ahh” she yelped as she washed the blood off but still the blood came rushing out
Venom came in and she looked up
Venom stared at her hand for a while
“Come with me” he muttered and went out again
Marissa immediately followed him,they entered the bedroom and he pulled her on the bed before sitting beside her.
Marissa stared at him as he stopped the bleeding,he applied petroleum jelly to it and then covered it up with a plaster
“Thank you” Marissa said with a little smile
“You should be careful next time” He said
“Yes boss” Marissa chuckled and placed a short kis-s on his li-ps
She tried moving back after that but Venom held her wai-st and locked their li-ps again in a de-eper one this time
******
NEXT MORNING>TRAINING HALL**
Marissa was breathing heavily as she exchanged punches with Venom,but the most exhausting part is that she never get the chance to get his movement at all. She was getting tired,sweating profusely
“Gosh!! Can you just come down to my level already,I feel like dying!!” She screamed when she threw the last punch and Venom threw her hand off
“fuc-k it!! I’m exhausted” she added and fell on the floor,breathing heavily
Venom chuckled
“Why are you in such a hurry? We are just getting started” He said
“Getting started? I’m fuc-king weak,maybe if you allow me hit you at least I will be fine,I feel so ashamed of myself right now fighting with you” Marissa muttered
“A lot of trainees want this opportunity,but here you are getting it for free” Venom said and Marissa scoffed
“Here we go again master,I appreciate you but trust me it’s tiring” She pouted
“But you’re getting better,great job Marissa” Venom said
She smiled
“Exactly what I want to hear,I promise to do more master” She bowed
“Catch” Venom threw a sword and Marissa caught it at once
“You’re holding it the wrong way” Venom said and Marissa immediately held it rightly as she was taught
Just then, Venom got a call
“This will be the end for today” He said and walked out of the hall
Marissa sighed out sadly but instead of leaving,she continue the sword fighting on her own.
She’s getting better everyday,thanks to Venom. She’s now capable of doing what she never believed she could be able to do,even though he’s always ha-rd on her during training,but it’s for her own good right??
She’s also doing quite well in her arrow and the gun shooting

BLADE’S SUITE**
Blade and Venom both listened carefully as Lex spoke to them about their coming a-ssignment
“You should keep an eye on him for now,so you move tomorrow” Lex concluded and they nodded
“Venom,heard you brou-ght Mrs Bob’s child to the clan” Lex said
“Yea” Venom replied
“Good job saving her at least,so what next? When are you taking her to the orphanage?” Lex asked and Blade looked at Venom who was quiet for a while before speaking up
“I’m not going to do that” he finally said
“What do you mean?” Lex asked
“I will take care of her,here in the clan. She’s not safe enough to be taken somewhere else” Venom said
“You mean,you will raise her?” Lex asked in surprise
“Yes godfather,I will do it on my own. You don’t have to worry about it” Venom muttered
“Fine” Lex said and the screen went off
“Seriously? Don’t you think,you should just adopt her instead?” Blade teased
“Stop it” Venom roll his eyes
“Now I can call you daddy Venom in peace” Blade chuckled
“Do you wanna die? What the fuc-k is daddy Venom?” Venom frowned
Blade laughed out
“You should inform the gang about the a-ssignment,I’m leaving” Venom muttered and walked out

DINNING HALL**
“Guys,do you know the boss is training Marissa on his own?” Lilith suddenly asked as they eat
“It’s really shocking,I’ve never seen him doing that” Echo said
“So what are you trying to say?” Galaxy snapped
“What else? He probably like that girl” Echo smi-rked
“Like my foot” Chicago scoffed
“So why are you feeling so mad about it? Are you jealous?” Lilith chuckled
“Shut the fuc-k up,Venom likes no one” Galaxy snapped and there was silence
Seth and Idris are busy chatting alone
“Where’s everyone tho? Blaze,Phoenix,Jinx and Marissa” Athena asked
“Firstly,Marissa and Jinx are not one of us” Chicago roll her eyes
Phoenix walked in
“Guys,the boss want us all in the power room right now” She said and immediately everyone started going out
She stared at Seth who walked away without sparing her a glance
‘Is he mad at me?’ She thought
“You need to stop acting like the second in command,it’s becoming annoying” Galaxy said,others are gone already
Phoenix smiled and moved closer to her
“I’m getting tired of your existence already,such a boring soul. Get a life babe,I guess your brain is still in your p**sy. Poor girl” Phoenix smi-rked at her before walking away
Galaxy fold her fist angrily before leaving the dinning hall also

As soon as Blade left the power room,Jubilee appeared
“You are not going to involve me in the mission?” She asked and Blade scoffed
“What,did you just scoff? Are you un-derestimating me?” She asked
“No I’m not,but this doesn’t include you. All you’re here for is to stay in your room until you leave” Blade said and Jubilee gro-aned
“So sad,where’s Iceberg anyway? I want to see him” Jubilee muttered
“Who knows?” Blade smiled,he winked at her before walking away
“Who is iceberg?” Someone asked behind her and she turned
Chicago walked closer to her
“If I’m not mistaken,is that Venom?” She asked
“Who are you?” Jubilee asked
“Chicago,one of the clan clique” She smiled
“Oh,,I’m Jubilee” Jubilee said
“I’ve seen you numbers of time though” Chicago muttered
“Right,it’s boring more than I imagined” Jubilee scoffed
“I don’t mind being friends,though I have a best friend,I will introduce her to you,she’s busy right now” Chicago said
Jubilee smiled and nodded
“So,how about having a drink together tonight?” Chicago asked
“Yeah sure” Jubilee said

MADAM ZUNA’S ROOM**
“Come on Rissa” Jinx laughed as Marissa immediately collected the chicken bowl from Madam Zuna
“Don’t call me that” she muttered
“Why?” Jinx asked
“Maybe because only one person calls her that,and now they are no longer friends” Madam Zuna said and Marissa pouted
She actually told her about Blaze
“Wait,are you talking about Blaze?” Jinx asked
Marissa nodded
Madam Zuna sat down
“You don’t have to think about it so much,I’m sure he will come around soon” Madam Zuna said
“I hope so” Marissa muttered and took a bite from the chicken before dropping the rest
Jinx also took one
“Gosh,you’re the best cook in the world” Marissa raised her thumb up before turning to Beauty who was also struggling with the one in her hand
Marissa chuckled and cut a small size and then put it in her little mouth
“She’s so pretty,I don’t know if I was as pretty as this when I was a kid” Jinx said and they laughed
“What’s your name?” Jinx asked
“Beauty” She said
“Perfect name for you” Jinx said and moved her on her lap-s
“She probably need a new dress,I should tell Venom” Madam Zuna said
“Baby?” Beauty asked
“Yes,he will get you beautiful dresses” Marissa said and Beauty smiled cutely
“He’s really nice” She said
“Who is baby?” Jinx asked
“Who else? Your boss of course” Madam Zuna said
“Whoa! Seriously? She’s calling him that? I wonder how the boss would react” Jinx laughed
“He knows,I was surprised when he answered her” Marissa smiled
“Wow,so cute” Jinx muttered dreamily
******
EVENING**
Venom was taking a walk alone,his two hands gently tucked in his pockets.
He suddenly heard some footsteps following him and he stopped
He turned and Marissa grinned at him before running to him
“You are so sen-sitive,I wanted to tiptoe to you” Marissa said
“If you call what you just did a tiptoe then you should be punished” Venom muttered
“Oh” Marissa bite her li-ps and they started walking side by side in silence
Marissa looked up and her eyes went to his ne-cklace,each time she look at it,,it look Even more familiar.
“It was a gift from my mom” Venom broke the silence
“Huh?” Marissa looked at him
“The ne-cklace…was given to me by my mom. Twelve years ago…it was a day before we were abducted” Venom said
Marissa bite her li-ps hardly and Venom faced her
“I’m telling you because you seem to have interest in it” he said
Marissa smiled and looked away
“And then,,,everything I said that night. I remember them all” He added and Marissa faced him back.
“I’m not taking them back either,I meant everything I said” Venom uttered
Marissa smiled
She suddenly saw Galaxy and Chicago coming
She immediately moved into Venom’s che-st and hug-ged him not minding if they are outside or not
“What happened?” Venom asked
“I feel comfortable this way” She muttered
Venom smiled and wrapped his arms around her also
“You’re the only one who can do this” He said,ru-b-bing her hair
Marissa smiled,hugging him more ti-ghtly
