“Thank you Waylon” Tatiana said to Waylon when they got back to the palace. Zain has retired to his room, pretending like he knows nothing, just like how Tatiana has instructed him to do.
“For what Tatiana?” Waylon asked, looking at her.
“Osvaldo is your father, but you still want to help me in this battle that I am about to face” She said.
“He might be my father, but that doesn’t mean I am going to turn a blind eye to everything he has done. Cheng is not my biological brother, but we are somehow related, and since my father is the one who made his life miserable, I have to make up for what my father did, by helping Cheng” He said, and Tatiana smiled.
“Thank you so much Waylon, I will be going in, now” She said, and tries to leave, but Waylon held her hand.
Tatiana looked at him, and he slowly let go of her hand.
“Are you… Are you really going to disappear for good?” He asked with a sullen face.
Tatiana smiled lightly and nodded her head.
“Immediately after I help Cheng, I will disappeared from the human world, and my world entirely. I will become inexistence, because I interfere with human lives for the second time” Tatiana said.
“Is there no way for you to remain here on Earth”
“The only way is for me to peacefully return to being Gretchen, the powerful guidance of the forest and seven seas, but if I do that, I won’t be able to save Cheng” She said.
“And if you try to save him, you will no longer exist”
Tatiana looked at him for a while before nodding her head.
“I am prepared to no longer exist on Earth, as long as I am able to save Cheng. Please don’t tell Cheng, if he knows about it, he won’t allow me to save him. I’m running out of time, and I have to do this, before things get worse, promise me you won’t say anything to Cheng” Tatiana said, with pleading eyes.
“I promise” Waylon said.
“Thank you Waylon” She said and tried to leave, but Waylon pulled her back and hugged her.
“What’s wrong Waylon?” Tatiana asked, trying to break the hug, but Waylon tighten his arms around her.
“I might not get the chance to hug you before you leave Tatiana, so let me hug you for the first and last time” Waylon said as tears falls down his eyes
Tatiana blinked back her tears, and slowly hugged him back.

⟨ CHENG’S ROOM ⟩
Tatiana entered Cheng’s room and sees him drinking, so she quickly rushed to him, and took the liquor from him.
“Why are you turning yourself to a drunkard Cheng? Is unlike you to drink, so why are you doing this Cheng?” Tatiana asked with a worried look on her face.
Cheng looked at her with painful emotions in his eyes. “Are you seriously asking me why I have changed, when you are the main reason why I am going insane!!!” Cheng shouted at her.
Tatiana kept mute, without saying a word.
“Despite your distance towards me, I was still worried about you. I left my room to go and look for you, and I saw you and Waylon hugging each other. Is there something you are not telling me? Are you interested in my brother now, since he doesn’t have a demon inside of him, huh?”
“You are getting it all mixed up Cheng, there’s nothing going on between me and your brother. How can I cheat on you when I am betrothed to you” Tatiana said, with a cracking voice, indicating she was crying.
“How can I not suspect something fishy Tiana. You have been distancing yourself from me, but you went ahead and hugged Waylon!!!” Cheng shouted at her.
“There’s nothing going on between Waylon and I. You are the one I love, and will forever love” She said, crying.
“You love me?” Cheng asked as tears falls down his eyes.
“Yes I do Cheng, I love you more than my life”
Cheng tried walking close to her, but Tatiana snuggle backwards.
“Don’t come any closer Cheng, is for your own good” She said, sobbing.
“Get out”
“Cheng” Tatiana called his name.
“I am sure you are not deaf, right? Get out!! Get out of my life!!!” Cheng yelled at her, pushing her out of the room, and after he shut the door on her, he fell down to the floor and started crying.
“Tiana” He mumbled her name, breaking into a painful tears.
Tears keeps flowing down Tatiana’s eyes as she heard Cheng crying inside the room.
“I think this is for the better Cheng. You should learn to hate me, so that when I no longer exist in this earth, you won’t be saddened. Goodbye in advance, my first and last love” Tatiana said crying, and caress the Cheng’s shadow she was seeing on the door.

⟨ MASTER GU’S HOUSE ≈ NEXT DAY ⟩
“Marcellus told me you have been avoiding Cheng, Why Tatiana? Why are you hurting the man you love” Swati asked.
“I didn’t mean to Swati. But that’s not the reason why I came to see you”
“Why did you come here to see me Tatiana?” She asked.
Tatiana took Swati’s hand, caressing it softly.
“Your parents didn’t abandon you Swati” Tatiana said.
“What are you trying to say Tatiana?” Swati asked, with a puzzle face.
“Your parents didn’t abandon you. You are not from Maelstrom kingdom. You are from Rhema kingdom. Your father committed a treason, and he was killed for it. Your mother run away from Rhema kingdom so she could save you, since you were still a baby”
“But unfortunately for her, arrows were used on her while she was running away with you. The love she had for you kept her going on, until she arrived in the forest, and her last wish was for the guidance of the forest to save you. You weren’t abandoned Swati, your parents died and that’s why they were unable to cater for you” Tatiana said, and Swati broke into tears crying.
“But how did you know about my birth” She asked crying.
“I read about your birth Swati. I just wanted you to know the truth about why you were abandoned in the forest, before I leave”
” Before you leave? Where are you going Tatiana?” Swati asked.
“I am Gretchen, the guidance of the forest who saved your life 23 years ago” Tatiana said.
Swati’s eyes widened, and balls of tears falls down from her eyes.

⟨ PALACE OF MAELSTROM ⟩
Cheng looked at the cup of yellow tea on the table, and he looked back at Thiago and Anjali.
“Are you two trying to poison me?” He asked.
“Why will you have such negative thoughts about us?” Anjali asked
“With everything that has happened, you both are the least people I am going to trust” Cheng said.
“I know we have wronged you Cheng, but that’s why we are here, to make amends” Thiago said.
“To make Amends? Is this coming from the both of you?” Cheng asked, looking at them.
“I know you are going to find it surprising, but my son has made me realize that we can’t always get what we want” Anjali said, and in her eyes lies a sincere apologies.
“Can I ask you a question?” Cheng said.
“Sure Cheng, go ahead. You can bombard me with questions, if that’s the only way you can forgive me” Anjali said, with a smile on her face.
“Why have you always hated me? Ever since I was born you have always hated me, and always say I am a curse child. You even went ahead and told Thiago to hate me so much. So I want to know what transpired the hatred you have for me” Cheng said, looking at Anjali.
“I hated you because Malia died because of you. She and I were close to each other. She has always wanted to have her child, and when she finally did, she died. I hated you and called you a cursed child because if Malia didn’t give birth to you, she wouldn’t have died” Anjali said.
“It wasn’t my fault that my mother after I was born” Cheng said, with a sullen look on his face.
“I know that Cheng, but I just couldn’t help it because I couldn’t bear the thought of losing Malia. I am sorry Cheng, I am sorry for everything” She said, apologizing.
“I will think about it” Cheng said.
“How are you and Tatiana?” Thiago asked.
“I don’t want to talk about her. Can I asked another question?” He said, directing the question to Anjali, and she nodded.
“Where was my mother buried? Because I have always been labelled a curse child for killing my mother, I felt so guilty and that’s where I never bothered to ask where she was buried. Where was she buried Queen Anjali?” Cheng asked.
“The King was the one who buried her. Come to think of it, we didn’t see Malia’s corpse” Anjali said.
“You didn’t?” Cheng asked.
“No we didn’t Cheng. King Osvaldo was the one who announced to us that Malia was dead, but we never got to see her corpse”
“Don’t you find this suspicious?” Thiago asked, and the three of them looked at one another.

⟨ WAYLON’S ROOM ⟩
Vanya entered the room, and sees Waylon sitting on the chair wearing a sullen face.
“Are you all right Waylon?” She asked, sitting beside him. Waylon looked at her sighed.
“I am about to lose someone precious to me, mother”
“Who?”
“She is someone I care about so much, and I know I can’t stop her, since she has already made up her mind. In as much as I don’t want her to leave, I also want to help her achieve what she desires” Waylon said, sadly.
“What are you talking about Waylon? I don’t understand you”
“You don’t have to understand mother. What kind of a man is father to you?” Waylon asked.
Vanya smiles before answering. “He is the best husband every woman will wish to have. He is so nice and caring”
“I guess that what you think of him, since he’s always portraying a good character” Waylon muffled.
“Huh?”
“I didn’t say anything mom, and don’t worry about me, I am fine”
“Are you sure?” Vanya asked, and Waylon nodded his head smiling.
“Where’s father?” He asked.
“I don’t know Waylon, but I was told he left the palace earlier” Vanya said, and a maid entered the room.
“Greetings, your highnesses” She said bowing.
“What do you want” Vanya asked.
“Lady Tatiana wishes to see Prince Waylon”
“Tell her I will be with her soon” He said, and Vanya looked at Waylon.

Narmada quickly approached Zain the moment she saw him coming her way.
“Zain, can I please talk to you?” She asked, holding his hand.
Zain looked at her for a while, and nodded his head.
“I didn’t mean to lie to you Zain. I was so scared of you hating because I am a princess. I didn’t want you to hate me, that’s why I lied to you about my identity, but believe me when I say I love you Zain, I love you so much and I…..”
Narmada was cut short by a kis-s from Zain, and Narmada didn’t hesitate to kis-s him back. They de-epened the kis-s with every seconds that pa-sses, with their heads turning left and right and their tongues tangling with each.
They broke the kis-s an hour later, with their eyes on each other. They could see their reflection on each other’s eyes.
Zain caressed her chin softly, when Narmada only looked at him.
“I am sorry for shouting at you, and for also saying means words to you, I didn’t mean what I said. I love you so much Narmada”
“I’m sorry Zain, I am sorry for lying to you” She said, with tears rolling down her eyes.
“Shhhh, that’s enough, stop saying sorry” He said cleaning her tears.
Isha whispers some killing incantations to Narmada’s ear, and she began coughing hard.
“Narmada are you all right?” Zain asked, holding her. But before Narmada could say a word, she coughed out so much blood, falling to the ground.
“Narmada! Narmada!!” Zain called out her name, looking scared.
“I love you Zain” She said, closing her eyes, meeting her death.
“No, No, Narmada you can’t do this to me, you can’t. Narmada!!!!” Zain screamed out her name crying.

⟨ UNKNOWN LOCATION ⟩
“Is this the place my father kept Malia hidden all this years?” Waylon asked looking around.
“Yes, and it’s heavily protected. I guess Osvaldo was preventing her from escaping” Tatiana said.
“So what should we do?”
“We have to get Malia out of here, and in order to do so, I have to use my magical powers on them, I won’t kill them because just like it’s prohibited for me to save lives, it’s also prohibited for me to harm humans. I am going to keep them unconscious for a while, so we can rescue Malia” Tatiana said and Waylon nodded his head.
They both entered the cave, and some men attacked them, but Tatiana was quick to use her white magic on them.
It kept happening till they got the dungeon Malia was locked in.
“Who are you?” Malia asked.
“It’s true, you are truly alive” Waylon said, looking surprised.
“Who are you? Do you know me?” Malia asked Waylon. it’s been decades, so she can’t remember him
“It’s me, Waylon”
“Waylon? Vanya’s son?” Malia asked, and Waylon nodded his head.
“But how did you find me?” She asked.
“I will explain everything to you after we leave here. You are the only one who can testified that my father is a bad man” Waylon said.
“Do you know he killed Cheng’s real parents? Cheng is not my son, that monster threw my daughter away” Malia said, crying.
“I already what kind of a man my father is” Waylon said, and Tatiana squats beside her, holding her hand.
“I know who your daughter is” She said.
“You do?” Malia asked.
“Since she’s your daughter, I was able to know who she is, by holding your hand” Tatiana said.
“Who is she, and where is she now?” Malia asked, curiously.
“She is a courtesan at the brothel, her name is Amica”
“Amica?” Waylon asked.
“Yes. The same Amica you know. She’s your half sister Waylon. She was found in the woods by the same dark witch who possessed Cheng”
“You mean Isha?” He asked.
“Isha took her and made her believe she is her mother. What Isha don’t know is that Amica is Osvaldo’s daughter”
“That means she lied to me about Isha dying” Waylon said.
“Yes she did. But she did that to protect you because she loves you, but sadly, she’s your half sister” Tatiana said, and Waylon sighed.
“What are you both talking about?” Malia asked.
“Let’s leave here first, and I will explain everything clearly to you” Tatiana said, using her white magic to break the chains.
Waylon spotted one of his father’s men, aiming for Tatiana with six arrows, and before the arrows could get to Tatiana, Waylon blocked her, and the six arrows pierced inside his stomach and blood gushed out from his mouth immediately.
“Waylon!!!” Tatiana screamed holding Waylon, while Malia went after the man that shot Waylon the six arrows.
“Tatiana” Waylon muttered her name, with misty eyes.
“Why did you take the arrows for me Waylon, I am not human which means I would have been able to save myself” Tatiana said, as tears falls down her eyes.
“I am glad I was able to save you, even if I end up dying. Please do everything you can to save Cheng”
“You are not going to die, please don’t say such a thing, I need you in this fight” She said, crying.
“This is how far I can go Tatiana. I love you right from the day I met you, but I couldn’t tell you about my feelings because I wanted my brother to be happy” Waylon said, in a weak voice.
“Waylon”
“You have always wanted me to make a wish so you can fulfill it, right? My wish is for you not to leave Cheng, stay by his side till eternity. Thank you for coming into my life Tatiana. The little time we spent together was the happiest moments of my life” Waylon said, caressing her face, and his hand slowly fell down from her face and he died.
“Waylon!!!” Tatiana screamed out his name crying.
“I have to save him, I can’t let him dead” She said, crying. She tried to use her white powers on Waylon, but Farris stopped her.
“You can’t save him Tatiana” She said.
“Why not!!! I can’t let him die Farris, he is my friend” Tatiana said, crying.
“You have chosen to stay on earth so you can save Cheng, right? But once you save Waylon from dying, it means you have interfere with human lives for the second time, and you are going to disappeared without getting the chance to save Cheng. Who are you going to save, will it be Waylon or Cheng?” Farris asked, and thick tears falls down from Tatiana’s eyes.
