Lucian pulled down Suzy’s hands and faced her with a straight look
“Love? Did you just said you love me?” He asked
“I’m in love with you Lucian,I know what I did was wrong,but can you at least allow me to tell you why I left? Please……”
“You don’t have to tell me Suzy,it won’t change anything. As you can see,I’m in love with someone else and nothing is going to change that” Lucian said and Suzy shook her head
“No,you can’t love her. You’re lying right? I’m the only one you love….” She broke into tears and moved closer to him
“Lucian please…..”
“Stop the tears,it won’t move me” Lucian pulled her hands off again
“Then I don’t mind being your second queen,you have the right to have more than one right?? Just……”
“Yeah I can have as many as I want,,but I’m not that type of king. My heart only belong to one person now,so please stop trying. I’m glad you’re alive,you can stay here for a while before going back to where you came from” Lucian said and went in,leaving her standing.
“Nooo!!!!” Suzy screamed and bent down,crying bitterly
“You can’t leave me this way Lucian” She said,,crying even more.
She continue crying for some minutes before getting up and walked away.

QUEEN SOFIA’S SUITE**
The queen was just about sleeping when suddenly she heard a knock on the door
“Come in” She answered and the door opened,revealing a maid
“My queen,Lady Adelaide is here” the maid said
“Adelaide?” The queen sounded surprised
“Yes my queen”
“Then,let her in. Why would you keep her waiting?” Queen Sofia said and immediately the maid left
A second later,Adelaide came in with a sad look on her face which immediately made the queen worried
“Are you okay?” She asked
“Can I sleep beside you mother?” Adelaide asked and queen Sofia raised her brows
“Don’t tell me you had a fight with the king” She said
Adelaide kept quiet and bashed her lashes innocently
Queen Sofia smiled
“You can’t keep on running away anytime you two have a misunderstanding,but don’t worry I gat you. Come here” Queen Sofia said
Adelaide smiled and immediately walked to the bed,she lied down gently
Queen Sofia sat down on the bed and started stro-king Adelaide’s hair
“Mind telling me what happened?” She asked
“I’m scared” Adelaide muttered
“Scared of what?” Queen Sofia asked
“I don’t know,I just feel strange these days. Like it’s no longer me,I get angry easily,I get pissed every second,it’s really annoying mother” Adelaide sighed
“Really?” Queen Sofia furrowed her brows
“Yes mother,I think I’m sick.” Adelaide scoffed
“You think those are symptoms of sickness?” Queen Sofia chuckled
“I don’t know,I’m just saying” Adelaide muttered
“Do you feel weak somehow?” Queen Sofia asked
“Yeah,I feel so heavy every morning as if I shouldn’t get out of the bed,and…..I’ve been throwing up too. Seriously I think I need to use medication” Adelaide sighed
“Did you just said you’ve been throwing up?” Queen Sofia asked
“Yes”
Queen Sofia smiled
“Then,I will call Diana tomorrow to check on you” She said
“Thank you mother” Adelaide smiled
“So,what happened between you and the king exactly?”
“His ex queen came to the chamber” Adelaide scoffed
“Suzy came there? Why?” Queen Sofia frowned
“She’s definitely trying to win him back,I’m afraid he still has some left over feelings for her. He even defended her not me,I’m so angry right now” Adelaide roll her eyes and queen Sofia chuckled
“Take a rest,and stop stressing yourself. Okay?” She said
“Yes mother,thank you” Adelaide said and closed her eyes
“Goodnight” Queen Sofia said

DIRA KINGDOM★PRINCE LIAM’S SUITE**
Liam was just getting out of the bathroom,he was in the bathrobe while drying his hair. All of a sudden the door opened and Renata came in
“Renata!” Liam’s eyes wide-ned
“Hey Liam” She smiled
“You should at least knock! What if I was nak-ed ?!” Liam yelled
“Oh…..I’m sorry…..”
“What are you doing here? It’s late already,just go back” Liam cut her off
“Are you angry with me?” Renata asked and walked closer to bin
“No I’m not,can you just leave?” Liam said
“I don’t want to” Renata muttered and stood in front of him.
She touched his chest while staring into his eyes
“I’m sure you know how much I love you,why are you pretending? You know Liam….”
“No I don’t,I don’t know what you are talking about. But can we talk about this later…..”
“No” Renata cut in
“The king and queen knows I’m here,so there’s nothing to hide. And I’m sure you know they want us together” Renata muttered
Liam pulled her away and adjusted his robe
“I will talk to father okay? You don’t have to worry about……”
“Why would you talk to him when I’m in love with you?” Renata held his hand
“Are you saying you don’t love me? You don’t have any feelings for me?” She asked
“You and I are childhood friends,but that doesn’t mean I’m in love with you Renata…..”
“Then what about me!” Renata snapped and tears dropped from her eyes
“I’ve been waiting for a day like this Liam,I’ve had a crush on you since we were kids,hoping someday we will be able to be together. So please,don’t break my heart. I’m insanely in love with you Liam,I love you so much,I don’t think I will ever survive it if you reject me…I love you…..” She said,crying in his chest
“Renata listen….”
“I don’t want to,don’t say a word. I don’t want to listen to any heartbreaking words” She mumble,snuggling more into his warmth
Slowly,Liam wrapped his arms around her too and she smiled.

Jimmy was walking throu-ghthe palace when he suddenly caught a glimpse of Yuna,she was in tears as she sat down,her cheeks looking red as if she was slapped.
‘She got bullied again’ Jimmy thought and shook his head
He ignored her and started walking away
“Jimmy!” Yuna called him from the back and he turned
She immediately got up and ran to him,she stood in front of him and wiped her tears
“What happened this time?” Jimmy asked
“I’m sorry,I can’t defend myself like you told me. I’m such a loser” she muttered and Jimmy sighed
“Is it that ha-rd to do?” He asked
“It’s ha-rd because I’m the only one,I don’t have any friends to support me” Yuna muttered and Jimmy’s mind went to Eleanor.
He suddenly got worried if she’s still working all alone without him there to help her
He came back to reality when Yuna touched him,she immediately dropped her hand when he looked at her
“You were lost in thought” She muttered
“Even if you don’t have friends,you shouldn’t allow them hurt you. And stop crying every time,it’s kind of annoying” Jimmy said and touched her hair shortly
“You should go in,it’s late” he said and walked away
Yuna touched her hair and blus-hed,thinking about how his hand felt in her hair just now.
She turned and started walking to the maids quarter.

NEXT MORNING★SUIDAN PALACE**
Queen Sofia entered Adelaide’s suite and met Adelaide fast asleep,lady Diana was there too.
“What’s wrong? Is she okay?” Queen Sofia asked and Diana turned with a smile
“Congratulations queen mother,The king’s lady is pregnant” Diana said and Queen Sofia’s eyes wide-ned
“She’s pregnant?! You mean she’s carrying my grandchild right now?” Queen Sofia gushed excitedly
“Yes queen mother” Diana smiled
Queen Sofia immediately moved closer to Adelaide who was still sleeping
“I’m so happy” She muttered and took Adelaide’s hand,she ki-ssed her back hand
“I will take my leave now queen mother” Diana bowed and walked out of the suite
Queen Sofia kept staring at Adelaide with love and affection in her eyes
“I can’t wait to see my grandchild,finally” She said,and removed some hair strands from Adelaide’s face.
She kept watching as she sleep until Adelaide opened her eyes slowly,she was feeling weak again
“Mother?” She called,looking surprised
“Adelaide” Queen Sofia smiled and Adelaide tried getting up
“Careful careful” Queen Sofia immediately said and Adelaide creased her brows
“I’m fine,I’m just a bit weak but trust me you don’t have to worry about me” Adelaide smiled and tried getting up again
“You need to take alot of rest okay?” Queen Sofia said
“Yeah I should,but I’m hungry” Adelaide muttered
“Of course,the maids will get you something to eat” Queen Sofia immediately said and called the maids
Ava and Gemma came in with Mia
Adelaide only watch in confusion as queen Sofia told them what to bring for her
“Yes queen mother” They bowed before leaving
Queen Sofia turned to Adelaide with a smile
“Thank you so much Adelaide,you finally made my dream come true” She said
“Dream?” Adelaide asked and the queen nodded
“You’re pregnant” She said and Adelaide’s eyes grew wider
“I’m….pregnant?” She asked again and queen Sofia nodded
Adelaide gasped and almost shed a tear
“I’m really pregnant?”
Queen Sofia nodded again and pulled Adelaide into a hug
“You’re pregnant with my grandchild” She muttered
Adelaide smiled cutely
They broke the hug
“I should tell Lucian” Adelaide said
“Yes sure you should,but eat first okay? You need to eat a lot” Queen Sofia said

Eleanor was on her way to Adelaide’s suite when she saw Lisa,she immediately smiled and almost walked to her but she stopped when she saw Suzy beside her. They seems to be quite close with the way they are talking and smiling brightly
“Is she not the so called lady Suzy?” Eleanor muttered
Soon,Lisa and Suzy past her but Lisa didn’t spare her a glance,she was so engross in her discussion with Suzy
“She saw me right?” Eleanor turned again,staring at them until they were out of sight
“They look close” Eleanor said and ignored it
She continue walking and soon got to Adelaide’s suite.
She entered and met Adelaide staring at herself in the mirror
“You look beautiful Adelaide,you don’t need to check yourself out every second” Eleanor roll her eyes and Adelaide chuckled
Eleanor sat down and Adelaide faced her
“What do you think? Do I look different?” She asked and turned around
“Yeah,you look more beautiful” Eleanor replied
“No,not that. You don’t notice anything?” Adelaide asked and Eleanor thought for a while
“No,what happened?” She asked and Adelaide rolled her eyes
“You need to change your eyes Eleanor” She scoffed and Eleanor chuckled
“Seriously? Did you just said that? Wow,since when did you start insulting people?” She asked
Adelaide ignored her and continue smiling
“Well,you look happy. Mind sharing?” Eleanor asked
“You failed the test,I would have told you the reason behind my happiness. So you will have to wait till I tell someone first” Adelaide smiled
“Okay,I don’t mind waiting” Eleanor said
“I saw Lisa and that lady called Suzy,you think they are friends?” Eleanor asked and Adelaide frowned before facing her
“You saw them together?” She asked
“Yeah,they were talking and even smiling. I think they are close” Eleanor replied
Adelaide was quiet for a second
“It’s normal,she was a queen before she left so they must have been friends” She said and managed to smile
“Fake smile” Eleanor chuckled and Adelaide pressed her li-ps together
Gemma and Mia came in
“My lady,the table is set already” Mia said
“Thank you” Adelaide replied and turned to Eleanor
“Let’s eat together” She smiled
Eleanor stood up and they went to the dinning together.

MATILDA’S SUITE**
“Guys guess what?” One of the maids asked the other two
“What?”
“I mistakenly heard,the king’s lady is pregnant?” She smiled and the other two gasped
“Really? How did you heard that?”
“I heard Lady Adelaide’s maids talking about it,” she replied
“Wow,that’s great news” they gushed
“What’s going on here!” Matilda shouted as she entered and they all kept quiet
“What were you talking about before I came in?” She asked
Nobody talked
“I’m asking a question” Matilda said
“It’s……lady Adelaide”
“What happened to her?” Matilda asked
“I think she’s pregnant” the maid replied
“What?!!” Matilda shouted
“I’m not sure my lady,,I just found out by mistake”
“Get lost!!! You all,get lost!!!” She yelled and the maids ran out
“Pregnant?? How dare she get pregnant!!!” Matilda shouted and pushed off the food the maids served on the table
“Seriously? You think you can have a child in this palace after killing my child?? You just made a mistake Adelaide,a silly mistake” She muttered with a cold and dangerous glare on her face
“I will make sure you loose that pregnancy so you can feel the same pain I pa-ssed throu-gh,wait and see” She muttered
******
KING’S OFFICE**
“Your majesty,here’s the report you asked for” Carl dropped it on the table but Lucian didn’t move,he was lost in thought
“Your majesty” Carl called to get his attention but still no response
He suddenly looked up
“Let’s do this another time,I need to go” he said and got up
Carl immediately followed him when he went out of the office
He was walking toward Adelaide’s suite,he couldn’t even sleep well last night,his mind was all over her.
He was still walking when Adelaide also showed up,she was also on her way to the king’s chamber.
“My king” She called and Lucian stopped when she let out a smile,that calmed him down, at least she’s not mad at him anymore.
“Ella” he called
Adelaide immediately ran into his arms and hug-ged him
Lucian wrapped his arms around her too
“I missed you” he muttered
“Really??” Adelaide asked
“Yes,I couldn’t sleep without you” Lucian replied,hugging her more
“So,you didn’t let her in your room?” Adelaide asked
“I already promised you right? I’m never going to have any other woman aside you,I’m yours all alone” King Lucian said and Adelaide broke the hug
“Me alone” She muttered,staring into his eyes
“You alone,nobody else,just you” Lucian said and Adelaide smiled but then her smile disappeared when she saw Suzy coming
Lucian turned to see what she’s looking at and then he turned to her again
He gently held her face and pulled her closer,
“Don’t look at anyone else,just focus on me alone” He muttered before he slowly pressed his li-ps on her own right there.
Suzy almost lost her breath as she watched the scene in front of her.
