★THE KING’S MAID★
Inside Matilda’s suite,Queen Sofia has a worried face on. She wouldn’t really want Matilda to loose the pregnancy even though she’s just a mistress,she have been praying for a heir for too long to loose again.
She stared at Matilda on the bed and then turned to King Lucian
“I heard that maid bumped into her” She said and King Lucian faced her
“It was a mistake I guess” He said
“What silly mistake is that?!” Queen Sofia snapped and turned away from him when the healer,Lady Diana started walking toward them.
“She’s fine right?” Queen Sofia asked
“Yes your queen,the mistress is fine but the….”
“Don’t tell me she lost the baby” Queen Sofia interrupted immediately and Diana sighed out
“I’m sorry your majesty,the baby wasn’t strong yet to withstand the stress….”
“The baby is gone,that’s what you’re trying to say” Queen Sofia said and lady Diana nodded
“I’m sorry your majesty” She bowed for King Lucian before going out of the suite.
Queen Sofia faced King Lucian
“What are you going to do about this? Matilda won’t take things well when she’s awake and I am feeling for her already,,I can’t deny that I’ve been happy since the day you told me she’s carrying your child,and now the baby is gone???” Queen Sofia sighed sadly
Lucina’s eyes were only on Matilda who was still sleeping soundly,she’s sure going to flair up once she’s awake.
He couldn’t understand why but he can’t deny that he’s sad about it,even though he had felt bad when he heard the news about her getting pregnant at first but he never wanted the pregnancy to go down either. No matter what,the child is his and he couldn’t deny the fact that he felt sad and angry at the same time.
“Stay here your majesty,I’m going to ask the maid some questions” Queen Sofia said before walking out.
King Lucian moved closer to Matilda and sat down on the bed while staring at her face,dried tears could be seen on her cheeks. He sighed and touched her forehead,he breathe out in relief when he found her temperature normal

Adelaide stood with her face down in front of the queen
“Answer my question and raise your head” Queen Sofia said and Adelaide looked up
“Did you do that intentionally??….”
Adelaide immediately shook her head
“No my queen,it was a mistake….”
“You’re lying!!! You witch!! I saw you push my lady!!” Esmeralda screamed,tears rolling down her eyes
“No..I didn’t push her. Please believe me” Adelaide broke into tears
“You’re a liar!,my queen she pushed my lady,I was right behind her when it happened,she’s a pretender!!” Esmeralda shouted in tears
“That’s not true,she didn’t push her on purpose,stop lying” Eleanor spoke up
“But you were not there!!!” Esmeralda screamed angrily
“But I know she will never do it….”
“That’s not true,I was watching too. My queen,Adelaide pushed the mistress on purpose” Another maid said
“That’s right my queen,she have always talked about how much she hated the mistress” Nadia said and Adelaide looked up immediately in shock
“She really hate the mistress a lot” Melita said
“I never knew the mistress was pregnant but she knew it all along” Another maid spoke up
All the maids continue talking,lying against Adelaide right in front of her but she couldn’t say a word. Cold tears rolled down her eyes as she listened to them,she never knew they hated her to this extent.
She was wrong thinking it wasn’t de-ep but they just proved her wrong,she’s not wanted here.
Queen Sofia kept quiet while listening to the maids
“My queen,please believe me they are all lying” Eleanor broke into tears
“Stop talking as if you were there!! You’re her best friend,you’re only defending her you idiot!!” Esmeralda shouted
“Silence” Queen Sofia said softly and everywhere became silent immediately
She faced to Adelaide whose eyes were already red and blur from the tears
“Adelaide” She called and Adelaide looked up,she sniffed and wiped her tears
“Are they saying the truth?? Did you do that on purpose,and wait…do you know the mistress was pregnant?” Queen Sofia asked
Adelaide nodded gently
“So you really did it on purpose?” Queen Sofia asked
Adelaide started tearing up again,she knew it’s only going to be fruitless if she kept denying. All the maids are against her already,it will only make things worse if she deny again
“Yes my queen” She mumbled and Eleanor’s eyes wide-ned
“I knew it!!! She’s evil!!!” Esmeralda shouted and almost rushed toward Adelaide
“Stop it!!” Queen Sofia yelled angrily and she moved back
“Guards!” She called and three guards appeared immediately
“Take off the royal bracelet from her and lock her up” Queen Sofia ordered
“No!!! Queen mother Please have mercy….Please” Eleanor went on her knees as tears rolled down her eyes
“Take her away” Queen Sofia said to the guards again and two of them grabbed Adelaide instantly,dragging her away
Queen Sofia also left
Eleanor stood up and faced the maids
“How can you all be evil as this?? How dare you all lie on her!!!” She yelled
“I hope she get punished and kicked out,that’s my only prayer” Nadia smirked at her
“What the h*ll has she ever done to you!!! Adelaide did nothing to you all…….”
“I hate the fact that she’s serving the king,she took over my position!!!” Nadia yelled
“I hate her,I don’t even have any reason but I always feel irritated anytime I see her” Another maid scoffed
“I Hate everything about her,I always wish she dies and stay out of my sight. I guess my wishes are coming true already” Another one said
Eleanor couldn’t believe her ears as she listened to them all,they kept on saying how much they hate Adelaide without any specific reasons
All their reasons are so lame
“You all……are so evil” Eleanor muttered
The maids all walked away while smiling at themselves.
Eleanor almost lost her balance as she broke into more tears
Jimmy held her from the back and she turned to him,Jimmy stared at her shedding tears continuously and he couldn’t understand why his heart was racing as he watched that,he wanted to hug her and allow her cry on his shoulder but he controlled himself
“Did something happened?” He asked
Eleanor wiped her tears and sniffed
“Adelaide…..she’s in trouble” She said
“Huh? Trouble? What happened?” Jimmy immediately asked and Eleanor told him everything
“What?!That’s bad” He said
“I don’t know what to do,I’m so worried. I don’t want her to get punished” Eleanor cried
Jimmy sighed out
“It’s okay,stop crying. I’m sure she won’t get punished until the queen or king order that” He muttered
“But she’s locked up already,she’s not a criminal” Eleanor mumbled while wiping her tears continuously.
Jimmy sighed, controlling the urge to hug her

PRINCESS LISA’S SUITE**
The maids watched in relief as Lisa was finally eating,she’s been skipping meals and they are all getting worried until she suddenly requested for food.
“Have anyone seen Adelaide since she left my suite this morning?” Lisa suddenly asked without looking up
The maids all exchanged glances and kept quiet
Lisa looked up and lic-k her bottom li-p
“Am I speaking to ghosts?” She asked looking pissed
“We are sorry” They apologized
“Answer my question” Lisa snapped
“Actually my princess,I think Adelaide will be greatly punished” One of the maids finally spoke up
Lisa dropped the chopsticks in her hand,looking confused
“Punished for what?” She asked and the maids explained what happened
Lisa’s eyes wide-ned and she immediately stood up
“Where’s mother?” She asked
“She’s in her suite”
Lisa ran out and went straight to the queen’s suite. She entered and met queen Sofia pacing,looking angry
“Mother” Lisa called
“Not now Lisa” Queen Sofia said
“Mother,you should release Adelaide. She did nothing wrong” Lisa said
Queen Sofia faced her angrily
“What do you mean by she did nothing wrong? She pushed Matilda and made her loose her child!!” She yelled
“And you believe that?” Lisa asked
“That maid knew all along that Matilda was pregnant,I can remember ordering Esmeralda not to share with anyone,how the h*ll did she find out?” Queen Sofia asked
“I told her,mother I told her!! Adelaide will never push Matilda! It was only a mistake,a stop punishing innocent soul,I would have pushed Matilda if I had the opportunity!” Lisa yelled and a heavy slap landed on her face
Lisa looked at her in shock
“How….dare…you” Queen Sofia muttered,walking closer to her
“How dare you say that!!!!! Are you even a woman?!!!! You’re going to get pregnant one day!!! How dare you say that!!!!!” Queen Sofia yelled
“I don’t care,I never wanted her to have my brother’s child,I don’t care!!! Release Adelaide right away!!!!” Lisa yelled back
“You dare yell back at me?” Queen Sofia asked
Lisa bite her li-ps
“Mother I’m……”
“Anyone out there?” Queen Sofia called calmly
“Yes your highness” Two guards entered at once
“That maid,I only wanted her to stay in there for some hours before letting her go,but I guess not. Start by whipping her twenty strokes,ha-rd ones!!!!” She said and Lisa’s eyes wide-ned
“Yes your highness!” The guards rushed out
“No!!!!!! Mother please!!” Lisa fell on her knees immediately
“How dare you shout on my face because of that maid??? Get out,I don’t want to see your face…..”
Lisa grabbed her dress
“Mother please forgive me,,I’m sorry. I wasn’t thinking when I shouted,please don’t let them hurt her… ”
“Get out!” Queen Sofia snapped and went into the inner room
Lisa immediately stood up and rushed out of the suite.

MATILDA’S SUITE**
King Lucian checked out Matilda for the umpteenth time and sighed,he was planning not to leave until she’s awake but seems it’s taking more time than he expected. He got up from the bed..
Almost immediately Matilda opened her eyes
“What…what happened to me?” She asked,sounding weak
King Lucian sat back on the bed
“How are you feeling?” He asked
“How’s my baby?” Matilda asked instead and there was silence
Tears started rolling down her eyes immediately
“Don’t Tell me…..it’s what I’m thinking…..don’t tell me I lost him” she said in tears
“You have to take heart and be strong……”
“No!!!!!!” Matilda shouted
“Matilda…..”
“No,don’t call my name. Don’t call me” She said in tears
“You should be glad you’re fine….”
“I don’t care about myself!! I want my baby back!” She snapped as more tears roll down her eyes
“You’re going to hurt yourself if you keep on screaming,I understand how you feel…”
Matilda shook her head
“You don’t understand,you don’t want the child in the first place anyway. Just leave me alone…..”
“I should leave?”
“Then will you make me pregnant again?? Will you!” Matilda shouted in tears and King Lucian kept quiet
“I never knew she hates me that much,how could she……she pushed me……that little witch…..” She suddenly managed to get up from the bed but King Lucian held her back
“Where are you going this way? Can you just stop and stay still. I can’t allow you to hurt yourself….”
“I’m going to make sure I kill her!!! Leave me alone!!” She screamed,struggling from his grip
“Matilda please,calm down” King Lucian said
Matilda hug-ged him,crying on his shoulder
“I want her to be punished,I won’t forgive her,I won’t” She said in tears
King Lucian kept quiet and started stro-king Matilda’s hair,more quickly than he expected,her eyes went closed and she fell back asleep.
He sighed and dropped her on the bed,he covered her up and walked out of the suite.
“How’s she?” Carl who was waiting outside immediately asked
“She will be fine” King Lucian said
They were still talking when Lisa ran to them in tears
“Brother” She called and Lucian was surprised to see her in tears
“Did something happened?” He immediately asked
“Mother….ordered the guards to….beat Adelaide up” Lisa said almost choking due to too much of tears
Lucian’s eyes wide-ned
“She did what?!” He asked loudly
“She’s in the Prison..please save her”Lisa cried
King Lucian immediately turned toward the palace prison and started walking,Carl and Lisa followed immediately.
As they approached,they could hear Adelaide’s cries and Lucian fold his fists more angrily.
Carl immediately ran into the prison where Adelaide was being punished,she was looking so pitiful as if at the point of death. Her clothes were filled with blood,her eyes looking red and weak.
“Stop!” Carl ordered and the guards immediately moved away from her
“Adelaide!!!” Lisa screamed and rushed to her
Adelaide couldn’t talk or open her eyes for too long,her eyes went shut as she lost her consciousness.
“Adel” Lisa broke into tears
King Lucian moved closer immediately and to everyone’s surprise,he carried Adelaide in his arms.
The guards immediately fell on their knees
“We are sorry your majesty,we are only following the queen’s order” They chorused
King Lucian ignored them and went out with Adelaide in his arms,his eyes not leaving her face which her long hair already covered
“Your majesty,I will….” Carl tried taking Adelaide from him
“Get Diana,what are you waiting for?!” He snapped at Carl and he immediately moved back
“I will get her” Carl bowed and walked away
Lisa followed closely beside them,her eyes were filled with tears.
The maids and guards they met on their way kept on wondering who the king was carrying in his arms.
Soon,they got to the King’s chamber and Lucian dropped her on the bed not minding her bloody back,Lisa sat down beside the unconscious Adelaide while she sobs quietly
“Mother really ordered the guards to do this to her?” King Lucian asked
“Yes….I confronted her about it,that was why” Lisa mumbled
Carl came in with Diana
“Your majesty” She bowed
“Get to work and make sure her wounds are well treated” King Lucian said and walked out of the room
Carl followed him
“Stay back Carl” He immediately said and Carl stopped,watching him walk away
King Lucian entered the queen’s suite
“Get out you all” He snapped at the maids who tried to greet him and without waiting,they all ran out
He entered the queen’s bedroom and met her
“Son…..”
“What were you thinking when you ordered the guards to hurt her?” King Lucian cut her off immediately and she was surprised
“Are you seriously here because of your maid?” She asked
“I asked a question first….”
“She pushed Matilda….”
“So what?!! You should have waited till I speak!! I have every fuc-k ing right to do things my own way!” King Lucian yelled at her angrily which took her by surprise
“Son….”
“How could you give such a cruel order? She’s in pain and I hate it so much when she’s in pain”
“She’s just a maid!”
“She’s more than a maid to me!!! So don’t ever lay your hands on her again mother,I mean it” King Lucian said coldly and stormed out of the room
“What??” Queen Sofia mumbled in confusion

NIGHT★KING’S CHAMBER**
King Lucian stared out of the window,watching as the rain poured heavily
He turned back to Adelaide who was still lying on the bed,she has been treated and he’s so impatient to hear her voice again.
Suddenly,Adelaide moved. Lucian immediately walked to the bed and she opened her eyes.
“My……my…king” she called in broken voice
“Don’t talk,you’re not fine” King Lucian mumbled
“I didn’t do it on purpose,it was an accident….” Adelaide started crying again
“I know Adelaide,I don’t even care if it was on purpose so don’t cry and tell me you’re fine” King Lucian said
Adelaide smiled sadly and tried to sit up
The duvet covering her went down from her body,exposing her br**st. Her clothes were taken off while Diana was taking Care of her earlier.
She bite her li-ps as the king stared at her chest before looking back into her eyes.
He covered her up and lean closer
“You made me really worried” he muttered before slamming his li-ps on her own
Adelaide immediately responded to it hungrily,she released a mo-an when Lucian’s hand rub throu-ghher br**st while ki-ssing her more de-eply forgetting the fact that she was in pains.
