(The next day.At night)
Mabel sat down in her room wondering what she had told the two guys.She was confused herself on who to choose.There goes Tega her sweet caring husband,she even wondered why she had left him.And there is Cyrus her caring crush.
She loved this two and it sounds awkward but now it was time to make a decision
She didn’t want to leave Tega.No!Not at all!She has been mistaken all this while..Tega was her perfect husband.She just couldn’t un-derstand him well.He was planning for their future.They were only met to sit and talked.
She didn’t also want to leave Cyrus.She had fallen for him and he had helped her so much.Saved her from Drake.
How would she leave these two.A tear dropped from her eye.These two were caring as heaven!Now she’s stuck in the middle!
She picked up her phone and dialed.
“Hey dearie”Her mum replied almost immediately
“Mum!”her voice cracked
“What’s wrong sweetie”her mum asked concerned.She sniffed
“Nothing mum”she lied
“Talk to me Mabel”her mum pestered
“It’s nothing mum”she repeated and bur-st into silently cries that her mum could hear too.”Do me a favor mum!”she said and continued.”Postpone my wedding mum”
“What?!”her mum shouted
“Mum plea-se..”she cried trying to hold the sound by covering her mouth
“Mabel…”
“Just do it mum”she almost shouted.
“Mabel calm down okay.If it’s about what you discussed with me.Then I’ll advise you to choose your soulmate.Mabel don’t make the wrong decision plea-se!Choose your soulmate!Are you listening to me?”
Mabel sniffed.”Yes mum”she answered. “Let me call you back mum”she said again and hung up
She sobbe-d again.Her mum always gave the best advise.S he was sorry if she was going to hurt any of them!She was really sorry!
She picked up her phone to call Cyrus!

One could tell he was the happiest man on earth.Immediateky he received Mabel’s call.He jumped up for joy.She had chos£n him.That was enough to give him joy throu-gh out his life time.His mum will be so happy he was bringing a wife home.So happy.
He quic-kly dressed up.Mabel had said they should meet for a d@t£.He was very eager to meet her.Finally,Mabel was going to be his.But all the same as he was happy..he felt guilt in his heart.Was he doing the right thing?

He entered the restaurant and looked around.It was empty.Mabel was gonna be a bit late as usual.But no one was in the restaurant.Maybe she wanted a pri-vate chat with him and has paid the manager for the restaurant to be empty.
He walked into the inner p@rt of the restaurant and looked for a perfect seat for them.He took his seat and waited patiently for his wife to be!

He wanted to be at the restaurant as early as possible.He didn’t want to fall Mabel’s hand.He drove as fast as possible when he received Mabel’s call.
Luckily he got there in time!He entered the restaurant and looked around.It was empty..except for a guy sitting at a at distance.He closed the door and the guy turned back.
He knew his eyes was definitely not deceiving him.It was Cyrus!
“Tega?”he could hear his voice clearly.He was as confused as Cyrus.He moved slowly to him
“Cyrus?”
“Tega.You shouldn’t be here”he said
“I should be telling you that”Tega replied
“You met me here first Tega..look Mabel had called me”he brou-ght out his phone showing Tega his call log
“Same here Cy”Tega said and showed him his too
The two sighed.
“As well as I know my Mabel.Shes up to something”Tega said
“She’s not up to anything Tega.You are here to disturb us”Cyrus said
“No one knows Mabel better than I do”Tega said and will Ked at Cyrus.”..Even you!”he said
He gr@bb£d a seat opposite Cyrus and sat down.He looked around and sigh.Cyrus also sat down
“We are meant to settle things among ourselves…that’s what Mabel wants us to do!and I hope you cooperate with me!”Tega said.Cyrus stared
“What will you do if Mabel rejects you tonight”Tega asked.Cyrus gave ni reply.Well he didn’t even know what to say.He would run mad if Mabel rejects him.He would not love another girl again!He would….
“If Mabel rejects me..I would be very happy for her”Tega said.Cyrus looked up and gave the expression *Really?*
“I want the best for Mabel cause I really love her.So if she still choose you.I wish her best if luck.Although it’s gonna be so painful…but..it’s her choice you know.We are still gonna be friends after all”Tega said.Cyrus looked at him.All what he says are lies.He won’t be able to take it if Mabel rejects him.
“Don’t you feel guilty?”Tega asked.Xyrus looked up at him
“For?”he managed to ask
“Snatching another man’s wife?”Tega said.He kept quiet
“No keys be realistic here Cyrus.its not fair.I an Mabel were perfect together”
“It’s not my fault I fell in love with her Tega”
“It is Cyrus”
“How”.
“A to be married woman was a no go area to flir-t with”
“That is my natural self Tega.And you were also at fault for not protecting your wife from flir-ts like us”Cyrus said
“That is also my natural self Cyrus.I am not a jealous guy so I can’t be overprotective.I protect Mabel at the right time.Not when I just see her with a guy”
“You were careless Tega!You love your job”
“My bad!…and you knew I love my job still you took advantage of that to spend time with my wife”
“Look I’m sorry for all that Tega..but there’s no going back now I love Mabel and..she loves me too”
“I’m not going to argue on who she loves right now.You were at fault and so am i.But whoever Mabel chooses now doesn’t concern each of us.We would still be good friends.Thats what Mabel wants Okay?”Tega said and brou-ght out his hands for a shake
“Okay”Cyrus answered and took his handshake
The two smiled and sighed at the same time.

They had waited for an hour,s till no sign of Mabel.They had ordered for drinks and had even finished them.Still they waited
The door if the restaurant then opened and Mabel walked in.The two guys stared at her and then at themselves
“Be strong”they chorused to their selves
She walked up to the two of them as they both stood up
“She looks beautiful I must say”Tega said to Cyrus
“I wouldn’t say less”Cyrus replied and they both laughed
Mabel laughed too
“Are you guys flir-ting with me?”She said
“You?Nah!We were talking to the bartender right?”he asked Cyrus again
“Yeah!she got a big as-s”Cyrus replied and all of them laughed
“I see you guys settled your differences.Thank guys!”she said and smiled
“Wanna have some drink?”Tega asked her
“Nah.Ill be leaving soon anyway”she said
“Okay”they both chorused
There was silence among them!
“I’ll choose Cyrus”Mabel broke the silence
Tega’s heart broke
“I thought about it.I..I..really don’t have any explanation.But I want you guys to bear with me”
“Congrats bro!”Tega said and pat Cyrus back
“Thanks”Cyrus said and smiled
“Take care of her”Tega said again.
“Sure”Cyrus replied
“She can be very handful you know?”
“Yeah I do”
“Don’t take her to a club or she’ll kill you”Tega said
“I won’t risk getting killed”Cyrus replied him and they laughed
Mabel stared at them,tears dropped from her eyes.Im sorry Tega.She wanted to say.They were ma-king it more difficult for her as they were In good terms.She couldn’t watch them laugh over what is hurting her.She regrets not choosing Tega.But Cyrus was her soulmate she had to do it.
“Can I get a last k!ssfrom her”Tega asked Cyrus
“She would also love it”Cyrus replied
Tega moved to Mabel,who was in tears.He wanted to cry but he kept calm.He k!$$£d her so lovingly like never before so she wouldn’t forget.She responded immediately and he could feel her tears dropped from her eyes to his.
Was she sorry she rejected him.His mind told him she was!
He st©pped the k!ssand gave Cyrus a handshake
“Thanks man”he said. “I’ll leave first”he said to Mabel and walked out.She turned to watch him go.4 good years.She had been with Tega.it Was always a wonderful experience with him and now she didn’t want to let him go.
Cyrus moved to her and cu-mddled her
“Thanks for choosing me!”he said and later k!$$£d her
She kinda felt uncomfortable,but she just responded.She had chos£n him after all!

Mabel sat beside Cyrus patiently.H e had said he would take her out the next day she chose him.Now looking at where she was it looked like a home and few pictures were hanging around.
Cyrus had brou-ght her to his home!She didn’t expect it so soon!The man didn’t even want to waste any time with it
“Mum!”he greeted the woman that approached them
$h!t!She has totally forgotten it was her!
“Good morning ma”Mabel greeted gently
“Hey!Seems I know you”the woman said to Mabel.
“Of course you do”Jane joined them,she was not really smiling.She was with a straight face.Cyrus mum looked at Jane for explanation
“She bought her wedding dress at your sto-re”Jane replied
“Oh.. oh my.I remember you clearly now.How are you doing.Hiw did you get along with Cyrus so well.Y you didn’t really like him the day you met!”Maddy said to Mabel
“Well.We kinda got along at Summer singles”Mabel said and managed a smile
“Oh okay.Thats nice”Maddy said and Mabel nodded
“Now go straight to the point Cyrus.You wanted to see mum!”Jane said with a pretty annoying face
“Yeah.Mum.I wanted to say something”Cyrus started
“Well go ahead alre-ady”Maddy said eager too

“Oh Mabel is her name..I remember from the invitation”Maddy cut in

They kept laughing.Till Maddy noticed that Cyrus had a serious look on his face.

“I thought you were getting married?”Maddy face Mabel

“I asked her a question not you Cy”Maddy cautioned Cyrus and then faced Mabel

“Then what happened”Maddy asked
“I’ll explain mum..”Jane cut in “We all happen to go to Summer singles together.Mabel and her husband Tega.Cyrus and I.Due to Tega’s nature of job..he could not give Mabel full attention.This made Cyrus and Mabel get closer and they sort of fell in love.Now both of them are planning on getting married and leaving Tega to bear his fate.”Jane explained
“What are you gonna tell your family Mabel.That you had a change in husband?”Maddy shouted.
“Mum…”Cyrus cut in
“Why on earth will you fall in love with another man just one month to your wedding?”
“Mum she…”
“Cyrus is not for you… definitely not.For you to have chos£n Tega to marry before then go ahead with it.My son is not for you.Will you go around lur-k-ing with other guy if Cyrus is not around”
“Mum Tega is not right for her”Cyrus defended
“Does he beat you?”Maddy asked
“No”she replied

“Then sort your self out and leave my son plea-se”
“That’s right mum”Jane supported as her mum walked out.
“You will pay for this”Cyrus threatened Jane.And she brou-ght her ton-gues out to mock him.
“I’m sorry.”He apologized to Mabel immediately
She was right.Mabek wanted to tell him.Why in earth will she fall in love with another man.Tega was the perfect guy for her.Why was she lur-k-ing around with Cyrus.Of course it’s because he was her soulmate but how could she explain that to every b©dy.

“Sandra!”she called

“Do we have to?She’s still not in her right s-en-ses”Sandra said

“You should be the one saying sorry not me!”Sandra said

“Hmmmn.From your heart?”she asked her
“Hmmmn who knows!”Mabel joked
The two girls laughed and both were moved to tears
“I missed you”Sandra said.
“Sane here Sandra”Mabel said and moved to hvg her.
“You made a mistake Mabel”Sandra whispered in her ears
“I know Sandra”She sobbe-d back
“Don’t you think we nee-d to have a friendly chat?”Sandra asked
“we’ll talk till night!”
“I know”
“Mabel get dressed.I and my wife c@m£ to pick you up!”Tega said with a cute smile
“Yeah.Hurry and wear something nice”Sandra replied
It seems these two are not even bothered that what they just said could be the cause of her next death.Wife what?
“You are going out with Sandra?”
“Yeah.Along with you too.But if you don’t mind you can stay here.Cause Sandra might be a bit shy If she receives so many k!sses from me”
“Oh come on! We’ll ask Cyrus to come with us then.So you won’t be p@rtial”
The two giggled
“Remember mum asked us not to be late”Sandra said to Tega
“Hmmmn.What did you use for my mum.She had never liked a girl so well other than you”
“Hmm.Im a good luck charm then”Sandra said and they both laughed
Mabel was running Mad.This was betrayal.Sandra to Tega!This isn’t possible.If not because she had just settled with Sandra.She would had pu-ll-ed her hair.Tega was hers and hers only!
“Come on dress up”Tega said
“Eerhm Tega..before you c@m£ in…I was having a stomach ache.I don’t think I can go anywhere”
“Come on Mabel it’s gonna be fun”

“Are you okay”Tega moved closer to her.She looked up and stared at him.It seems he got more handsome.There was no Sandra who would snatch away Tega from her.He was hers.But now she was hopeless.She was not destined for this and it’s high time she starts realizing that!
“Okay we’ll see you soon then”Sandra said and they got out of the room.
Mabel threw her pillow to the wall.Damn Sandra the betrayal!
