Cyrus tried Tega’s number once again,but it was switched off,while he was still thinking of waking Mabel up or carrying her to sleep when he saw his phone ring,as he took it,it st©pped.Tega had called him.Je tried the number back and it was it was switched off.What was going on?
Mabel opened her eyes gently and her eyes met cyrus.She immediately stood up and looked her around.She ru-bbe-d her face
,We are still at the field ?”she asked Cyrus and he nodded .She ru-bbe-d her eyes again
“Sorry for keeping you waiting can we go to the room now..”she said standing up to her feet.Cyrus also stood up and they dusted their bu-tts.Mabel staggered as Cyrus held her hand.She yawned as they walked out of the field.
When Mabel and Cyrus got to Mabel’s room,she knocked bit there was no answer she knew Sandra and Jane would have been asleep,she knocked ha-rder again and tried to open the door…
Alas!it opened….she took a look at Cyrus as they both wondered why the girls didn’t close the door…bur that was a story for another morning,she really wants to sleep now that she can ha-rd ly even see clearly.she waved at Cyrus who also managed a smile and she entered her room

She yawned wi-dely as Sandra shouted her name
“why can’t you let me get some rest..I sle-pt late yesternight”she yawned again.
“My soap got finished..lend me yours”Sandra said
“Is that what you like me for?”she shouted in t©p of her voice…and the door opened
The two girls stared at a dull,weak,faint Jane who was holding a bag and yawning.
“You didn’t sleep in this room yesternight night…I woke up this morning and couldn’t find you”Sandra scolded
“Tega wants to speak with you”Jane said handling over a phone to Mabel.
“I don’t t want to speak with him”Mabel snubbe-d still angry about Tega leaving her.Jane stared at her and then dropped the phone on the shelf.
The two girls watched her as she packed some weird things inside her bags and not long after she applied some make up
“You haven’t even taking a bath..”Sandra shouted
“I can’t take the risk of saying Tega at the hospital…a bath can wait”
A mirror that Mabel was using to check her face fell on the floor
“Did I hear Tega’s name?”she asked nervous.Jane turned to look at her and then carried her bag
“When you’re re-ady to talk to Tega… you should tell me..so you could see how he’s fairing”Jane talked harshly
“Jane you’ve been behaving weird.Is it becos Mabel talked to you yesterday”Sandra asked
Jane gave a look and didn’t say a word.
“Let’s go”Mabel said struggling with the trou-ser she just picked to wear
“You are not taking a bath?”Jane asked
“A bath can wait…my Tega is Important”
She said and barged out of the room with her car keys”

“Tega”Mabel cried as she entered the hospital.She rushed to him and gave him a k!sson the forehead.She had come with Sandra Jane and Cyrus
“Are you okay”Mabel said planting k!sses on every p@rt of Tega’s face.Tega tried to sit up,she also tried to as-sist him.Tega shouted in pain .Jane hurried to her and push her slightly..
“It’s not done that way”she said in a slightly harsh tone and as-sisted him gently to sit..Mabel sat gently on the be-d beside Tega…she stared at him in tears.W hat could have happened to him?
“What..what…what happened”
“Ashley…Ashley is here…”he cried.Mabel mouth flew wi-de opened as the tears were falling
“She..she..she did this to you?”Mabel cried and covered her mouth in shock and tears.Tega was sh0t in the arm?Ashely did this?she thought angrily
“Are you Okay”Tega asked Mabel holding her hands.She nodded I clears as others wondered what they were talking about
I’m sorry for .. leaving you at the eatery…”he apologized,she nodded and pe-ck him
“Don’t you think this is a police case”Cyrus asked
Mabel and Tega looked at themselves.A police case for Ashley?No way!the girl was a commando!
“Never mind”Mabel sniffled and t©uçhed Tega’s arm who shouted
“yes… cheerio hospital….”Cyrus said and hung up “they would soon be here”he said
Jane looked at him
“Don’t you think we shouldn’t be interfering in this”she said
Sandra looked at her.
“Seems you nee-d some rest to get your head up straight”she said dragging her out of the ward.Jane struggled with her hold and st©pped
“I c@m£ all this way to take care of Tega.. so let me do my duty”she shouted at Sandra..
Mabel turned to look at her.Duty?As what?Jane rook her face away when she saw Mabel staring at her.Mabel turned to look at Cyrus who gave him a courage look,she turned back to cyrus and gave him a k!ss.

two figures come in
“Are you….”
“Yes…I called for you…”Cyrus said to the police
“Well then we are at tour rescue.My name is Vera br@ndon and this is my husb…my boss…Oscar Smith.We’ll be handling your case”Vera said to all of them with a smile.

Well then we are at your rescue.My name is Vera br@ndon and this is my husb…my boss…Oscar Smith.We’ll be handling your case”Vera said to all of them with a smile.
“Nice to meet you”Cyrus gave Oscar a handshake
“What’s wrong”Oscar asked
“Actually…he was sh0t and he seems to know the person who did it”Jane explained
Vera moved to Tega
“Are you okay”she asked he nodded
“Ouch”he shouted as Vera t©uçhed his arm
“I don’t think you’re strong enough to talk to us..does anyone knows anything about this person”Vera asked
“I do”Mabel answered
“Guess you’ll have to follow us to the station then”Vera said and gave Mabel a smile
“But Tega…”
“I’ll take care of him”Jane said “…you and Cyrus could go to the station”she continued
Mabel gave her a look and then looked at Tega who nodded and gave her a go ahead
“Oow-kay then”Mabel said and k!$$£d Tega on his forehead
“Let’s go”Oscar said as they followed him
Sandra moved to Jane
“She didn’t mean to insult you”Sandra said
“What are you talking about”Jane asked
“She only wanted privacy between she and her husband”
“Couldn’t she have said it in a more polite manner”Jane barked
“Is that why you have been acting weird.You have been bashing Mabel throu-gh out”
“Really?Sandra!Really?”
“You are up to something”Sandra whispered in her ear.Jane laughed
“Up to what Sandra?”she said loud
“Sandra get out!”Tega shouted suddenly feeling headache with their fight.Sandra looked at him,he was in pain tou-ching his head,she took a look at Jane who smiled,and she moved to the door to leave
“…and you too Jane.Out!”he shouted
“Tega…I…”she tried to talk
“Out”he shouted.Sandra smiled at Jane and moved out.Jane sluggishly moved out too

Immediately Sandra saw Jane come out of Tega’s ward,she dragged her
“Where are you dragging me to”Jane asked but Sandra continued dragging her till she got to a corner.Sandea pushed her to the wall
“Ouch”Jane shouted as her head hit the wall
“What’s wrong with in Mabel telling you not to go on a d@t£ with them?Why are you angry?Are you being jealous”Why can’t you leave the couple alone”Sandra shouted at her
“Don’t shout at me Sandra”Jane shouted back
“Mabel takes you as a friend,she takes you with you when going to Tega’s place even when she knows you are too forward,just one day she wanted to have a free time with her fiancée and you got angry,why?are you jealous?”Sandra shouted
“Sandra!”Jane shouted.Sandra laughed
“Do you like Tega?”Sandra shouted at her
“Are you insane?Tega has been a friend and a nice and caring one at that..just as my brother is to Mabel”Jane shouted
Sandra stared at her and laughed
“Oh-my-God.I now get.Mabek is in trouble.I now un-derstand what’s going on.Are you trying to get close to Tega because your brother is close to Mabel”She shouted at jane.Jane kept quiet
“Come on Jane.Cyrus is just a friend!”

“Whatever you’re planning to do…just know that Tega Doesn’t like you….he loves Mabel”Sandra shouted and walked out.Jane stared at her as she stomped out in anger.She didn’t say Tega should like her,he was just a friend,just as Cyrus is to Mabel.Whar was she doing wrong?she only likes this aga as a friend.She likes Tega?

“We would like you to work on this case as soon as possible plea-se,Mabel might be in trouble”Cyrus said pas-sionately

“He’s my friend”Mabel answered and Cyrus nodded
“Well work on it as soon as possible”Vera said.Mabel stood up and gave her a handshake re-ady to go
“Are you I. a hurry”Veta asked
“Yes my husband….”
“Jane will take care of him”Cyrus said
“I’m sorry Cyrus..but I don’t kinda trust your sister”Mabel said
“In what wat”Cyrus asked

Jane sat down in the reception thinking about what Sandra had said.Tega was just a friend she has been saying to herself.She always enjoyed his company and she isn’t trying to snatch him away from Mabel she just liked him as Cyrus liked Mabel…as friends
She had seen the way cyrus and Mabel joke and pl@yaround she wanted she and Tega to do the same…it was just a friend pl@yafter all.Nothing attached.
It was not as if Cyrus and Mabel are starting to like each other,so she and Tega too could possibly not like themselves too.Sandra was just misun-derstanding.Her phone rang and
she looked at the caller
