✨ Stella’s pov 💛
I took Jeremy to our garden behind the house since he said he wanted to talk. It sounded kinda urgent.
Well it wasn’t really a big garden, I just started it two days back, hoping for a better result.
“I suddenly feel nervous Stella” he said
“Hope there isn’t any wrong thing going on?” I asked.
“Not at all. I actually have good news too, but I really want to confess something to you first” he said
” Wow! I can’t wait to hear. Let’s go sit over there” I said pointing at a bench which wasn’t too far away from us.
As we relaxed on the bench, Jeremy took a de-ep breath before taking my hands, he was acting like something was wrong which was really getting me scared in some sort of ways.
“Jeremy?…..” I called and he smiled.
“You don’t have to be scared Stella just listen to me” he said taking my hands in his. Wow! He really re-ads mind. I just smiled back at him.
” I mean it’s not really long we’ve met but I must say it seems like ages to me, like I’ve known you for eternity and I’m proud of that fact, because it brou-ght me back to knowledge of a lot of things” he said
” Uhmm…and what are they?” I asked just to cease the awkward moment between us. Things were become really awkward.
“That there is more to life than I thought and my mum isn’t the controller of me, it really Fred me off her grip using me like I wasn’t her son, she never for once asked about how I felt for the decision she made for me, all she cares and say is money, but you Stella brou-ght me out of that. Not to be that shadow I was of myself” he said pausing
” Wow, that’s great Jeremy,I’m glad to hear I helped you to that extent, I can un-derstand what you’re going throu-gh, but I as-sure you that it’s gonna be fine soon, just chase your dream” I replied smiling which he returned
” That’s not all, there’s one last most important p@rt I haven’t told you about” he said
” Really?” I asked anxiously and he nodded.
” You thought me that there’s Love. I learned to love someone and now I’m in love with someone Stella” he said and I fleet heartbroken, he likes someone.
“Wow, I’m so happy for you” I replied trying my best to smile. He noticed and chuckled.
There was an awkward silence between us which I decided to break.
“She must really be a lucky girl, you know, having the heart of a guy like you” I said
” You’re right Stella and she’s staying very close to me now” he said and I looked around but could found no one like that, it was just me and him around.
He took one of his hands from mine and t©uçhed my face carefully.
“You should know by now Stella, that she is you” he said..
“Huh?” I said confused
” Yes Stella, look at me. I love you” he replied
” You love me? ” I asked confused
” Yes, to the moon and back. Without you, I wouldn’t be out of my shell. Don’t quote me wrong, I don’t have feelings for you because of that, I just find myself liking u Stella” he said
” OMG! ” Was the only word I managed to say.
” Are you okay Stella?” He asked looking at me intensely.
“Nooo… I find it really difficult to believe, I mean I’m weigh out of your league and you’re saying this now” I said with a shaky voice, tears we’re forming, but one thing about me is that I was good in holding tears. No matter the situation. But this was weighing me down.
“The heart does the choosing Stella, you are not out but above my league, having you beside me now is a privilege. You’re beautiful, cheerful, ha-rd working, calm, filled with great aspiration, lovable and have a heart of gold” he said…
” I… I’m confused, your mum would kill me” I replied
” She would kill me first okay. Stella you don’t have to love me back, all I want is you beside me as we move on with life” he said.
” I don’t think that’s necessary” I replied
” Why” he said his countenance changing immediately.
“Because, I alre-ady had feelings for you, when you told me you were in love with someone. I felt really broken. I never knew it was me” I replied this time my tears were alre-ady dropping
“Common Stelly,you don’t have to cry. It’s either you, or no one else” he said wiping the tears of my eyes.
” I wasn’t crying” I replied jokingly and he chuckled, there was an awkward silence between us again.
We just kept staring at each other intensely till he broke the silence.
“Have it in mind Stella,I love you” he said and I blu-shed.
“I love you heartily” I replied and he gave me a smile
” Really?” He asked coming closer to me.
I just nodded cause our proximity was much. He stared at me before gently placing hisl-ips on mine which I responded to heartily. That went on until Jason’s voice interrupted.
“Stella I told you I’m watching you” Jason screamed from the window and we immediately separate, Jeremy just chuckled while I rolled my eyes angrily at Jason even though he wasn’t there anymore.
“Uhmm…I’m really sorry about that” I replied shyly.
” You shouldn’t be, you have a really protective brother, you gotta be proud of it” he replied and I chuckled.
” You left out annoying” he said and we both bur-sted into laughter.
“You haven’t told me the good news you were speaking of” I said anxiously
” Oh that’s true, it’s gonna be a surprise
“Common would it be too late for us to go get Pizza?” Jeremy asked
” Definitely not, at least some privacy. Let me just go tell mum” I said standing up but he held me down giving me a pe-ck on my forehead
“Don’t be long, will be waiting outside” he said
“Kk” I replied hurrying inside, doing my best to avoid Jason on the way.

That was the message I re-ad before quic-kly rushing to the TV. Wow, it’s true, he’s on every station in the TV. And I’m just in time for the interview.
Host: so Mister Jeremy, I must really express my emotion on how much I’m happy to see you, it’s really refreshing to you live today
Jeremy: I’m also happy to be here today (smiling)
Host: wow! I must admit you look really cheerful and radiant this morning
Jeremy: accepted (smiling)
Host: That’s great. Well I must say, congratulations on your nomination for the Grammy award. You’re the youngest there.
OMG!! Jeremy got nominated for Grammy award, I mean that’s a world wi-de thing. Jeez, he’s really a success in music, I’m sure his mum would be happy about this, but sadly they aren’t on speaking terms.
It was something that struck me out of my thought, after I heard Jeremy was nominated, I wasn’t really paying attention to the TV but something diverted my attention there.
Host: This year Grammy requires you to pick a good lead musician to pres£nt with you on the award night, that would determine who the winner is.
Jeremy: yh, I was informed two days back
Host: so have you decided.
Jeremy: of course, it didn’t take me a minute
Host: Wow that’s brilliant. Not only are you a success, you’ve made the whole of Netherlands proud.
Jeremy: Glad to hear that.
Host; So are you re-ady to announce the chos£n one?
Jeremy: well I am. Before I go further I would like to tell you about her.
Her? Who could that be.
Host: definitely. We would love to hear
Jeremy: my chos£n p@rtner is a great singer, who just started in the industry. When fantastic and sings from within, her heart is the music, and she should be an example to other singers, to have it in mind that music is not all about the money.
Host: wow, I can’t wait to see her alre-ady, can you tell us her name alre-ady?
Jeremy: she’s Stella John, my chos£n p@rtner (smiling)
Jeez! I just heard my name. Wait, I’m dreaming or probably hallucinating. I’m Jeremy nominee. Gosh!!

Suddenly an incoming call appeared throu-gh my phone. It was Olivia, I picked up almost immediately still in shocked. The first thing I heard was a loud scream of excitement and then I knew it was true….
