Two week Later…
.
Princess and Sarah were awake and Mabel was so happy about that. Everything seems work out well and they two girls seems to be in a good shape.
Princess and Sarah were already discharged back home and everyone was happy about that especially there friend Greg.
“thank you Mabel, thank you for saving Sarah. Now i have nothing to worry about,” Erica said while Mabel nodded.
“i only did that because of Sarah and am happy they’re both doing fine now,”
“not everyone has the heart to do what you did Mabel, i really admire your good heart,” Erica said with a smile while Edward walked up to them.
“Erica, i know Mabel did this to save Sarah but i also want you learn something and that is becareful of the people you un-derestimate because you might badly want them tomorrow,” Edward said and with that he held Mabel while they walked upstairs to their bedroom. Princess was already asleep there.
“am planing to throw a grand party for the two sisters,” he said.
“you mean Sarah and Princess? Mabel asked.
“sure, am just planing for the right time and i also hope because of this incident Erica will change for good, i just hope her heart is now pure,”
“i still don’t think so, i but i really hope for that,” Mabel said sadly
▪▪▪ “yes, ma’am Amelia, everything is now over and am sure Edward and Mabel might trust me again, i just want to gain their trust before i get rid of Princess,” Erica said with a sm-irk.
“but do you think Edward will run back to you, i mean he loves Princess and this might hurt him badly,” Amelia said.
“what’s up with you Amelia..
i mean you loves your son so much and you’re still the bad guy here, let me tell you, you’re the reason am doing all this and you’re the reason i got back to Edward lives again, you made me believe you’ll do everything for him to love me back and i foolishly listen to you and now i don’t freaking care if am gonna hurt your son but am gonna get rid of your grand daughter and that’s final,” Erica said angrily then stood up to leave.
“wait Erica, i know i never like that Princess but…
“that’s final Amelia, and you can’t ex-pose me because you’re the mastermind behind this,” Erica said then walked out on her.

✨Later in the evening Erica made dinner for the whole family and everyone was surprise even Sarah.
“what’s up with you Erica why are you been nice? Edward asked as he walked up to her with Mabel behind him.
“i know you’ll all be surprise but i just want to make it up to you,” Erica smile.
“you don’t have to do anything Erica,” Mabel quickly said.
“of course i have to, i realise how stupid i was, i was so stupid to have destroy your happy home, am really sorry for everything,” Erica said sadly then held Mabel’s hand.
“it okay Erica, i un-derstand why you did all those things, it because you love Edward but love can’t be for-ce okay,” Mabel nodded then turn to Edward.
“am sorry Edward i will do everything i can to make it up to both of you, am filing for a divorce, am leaving this mansion for good once get get divorce,” Erica said in tears. Both Edward and Mabel were surprise to hear her say that.
“Erica.. but.. why? i mean am not planing to divorce you? Edward asked.
“i know but i want that, i guess love is not meant for people like us, no one will ever love me, so it better if i remain a single mother, atleast having Sarah is enough for now especially now that’s she’s perfectly fine,” Erica said wiping away her tears.
“but what about Sarah, what about her future? Edwad asked so worried about that.
“it just so simple Edward, Sarah can visit you whenever she want, she’s your daughter too and i won’t stop her from being close to her father, i have talk to my dad about all this and also about the company, it guess it better to split way with you,”
“but Erica… Mabel wanted to say something but Erica quickly cut her off.
“i will be fine Mabel, this the only way i can make it up to you by leaving this house and also Edward for you alone, this is to show you how really sorry i am, so you can atleast believe what i say, i want you to be happy and have a complete family, you, Edward and Princess. Princess also deserves to have this happy family,” Erica said ruefully.
“dinner is ready, please let just eat and enjoy the moment,” Erica said with a smile while Edward looked at Mabel, they seems so worried.
“mom, dad! Princess said with a smile when she walked in with Sarah.
“huh.. where have you girls been? Mabel asked.
“having a good time as sister should do,” Sarah said while Edward smile.
“okay.. your mom made dinner for the whole family, let eat,” Edward said then sat down while Mabel sat down next to him at the dining table.
“mom, you prepare this,” Sarah asked as she sat down next to her.
“sure dear,” Erica replied with a smile.
“It smell so nice and am sure it gonna be delicious,” she replied.
“thank you mom Erica for the meal,” Princess said happily enjoying her meal.
▪▪▪After the dinner, Mabel took Sarah and Princess to their room while Edward stayed back to talk to Erica.
“are you really sure about this Erica?,” Edward asked.
“sure.. i think that the right thing to do,” she replied and their was awkward silence between them.
“am sorry Erica,” Edward broke the silence and Erica quickly raise her head to look at him.
“am sorry for not been the good husband, i know am not perfect, i have make a lot of mistakes but Erica you should always know i love you only as a friend but you took it the wrong way, all i wanted was for you to be happy and i guess am not the man meant to give you that happiness, i wish you get someone who will love you unconditionally someday,” Edward while Erica looked at him, her eyes were getting teary.
“i know Edward, that’s why am paying for my sins, am really sorry for everything for luring you into bed with me, i guess Sarah was just a mistake from our past,”
“no Erica, please don’t ever say that about Sarah. She’s not a mistake, nor born by mistake, she’s my daughter and i love her okay, am glad you’ve realise your mistakes,” Edward said.
“thank you, but i just want you to know i love you Edward, i really do, i still love you even now but am willing to let go and see what life has for me outside this marriage,” Erica said in tears, as she stood up then hug-ged Edward so ti-ght, he was surprise by the sudden hug but he didn’t pull her back not to hurt her feelings.
“it okay Erica, you’ll always be part of life. Everything will gonna be fine,” He cooed, patting her back while Erica smiled.
“am sorry if i hurt your feelings countless times but i want you to know it not intentional, my heart just keep loving Mabel that i couldn’t even look at any woman,” Edward said when he disengage from the hug
“i un-derstand, i have to go to my room now,” Erica said then quickly walked to her room, pretending to be crying bitterly. When she step into her room, she locked the door and sighed then look at her reflection in the mirror.
“Edward, you will regret why you never loved me,” she said with a sm-irk then wipe her tears.
✨Mabel stuck Princess and Sarah in bed, she was done reading bedtime stories for them.
“It was so interesting, Cinderella found her prince charming despite all the suffering, so this what i have been missing. Mom is so busy to stuck me to bed or even read any stories for me,” Sarah said sadly.
“don’t worry Sarah, am always here for you, but are you sure your mom will allow you sleep here with your sister? Mabel asked.
“sure, mom has change a lot now. She won’t do anything about it,” Sarah said with a smile.
“okay then, sleep ti-ght and no gisting, remember you’ll go to school tomorrow,” Mabel said then ki-ssed them both on their cheeks before leaving.
“your mom is so sweet, i sometimes wish we have the same mother,” Sarah said while Princess giggle.
“we are still family and you’re still my sister,” Princess said with a smile revealing her dimples.
“thank you Princess, i feel better now, thank you for saving my life, you don’t know what this means to me,” Sarah said.
“i loved you Sarah, stop thanking me as if am God. I only did what is right with the help of my mom and dad, we all love you okay, so stop thanking each day,” Princess said while Sarah smiled.
“dad said we’ll go to school tomorrow, do you think our friends will be happy to see us? Sarah asked.
“sure, don’t worry Sarah, no one will gonna bully you, not when i am alive,” Princess said boastfully while Sarah laughed.
“look who’s talking like you have the strength to beat Sophia and Khloe,” Sarah said.
“of course, am stronger than them, let watch and see,” Princess said while Sarah laughed again.
“it a good thing i have a strong sister,” Sarah teased.
“okay Sarah, am hoping you’ll always sleep here in my room, so i clould have someone to talk to,” Princess said.
“i don’t know, i also wish the same. Anyway i have to ask for my mom permission but am certain she’ll allow me to be sleeping here, i couldn’t want to miss bedtime stories again, i really enjoyed the story your mother read to us, Cinderalla was happy at last,” Sarah said with a smile.
“is that why you’re smiling like that? Princess asked then tickle her which make her laughed.
“of couse not, i just remember Greg.. i want him to be that my prince charming,” Sarah said.
you like him don’t you? Princess asked with a smile.
“yea, don’t you think Greg and i will be a perfect match? Sarah said.
“sure… seems my sister is in love..” princess teased while Sarah laughed.
“no one must know about this.. okay. This our little secret, mom might scold me if she knows about that,” Sarah said.
“okay.. time to sleep, good night,” Princess said with a smile..

” i felt so pity for Erica,” Mabel said to Edward in their room.
“am glad she finally realise her mistake and she’s willing to change, she’s gonna be out of our lives for good,” Edward said while Mabel sighed.
“yeah, but am just worried, i hope she truly change for good,”
“of course she did, i know Erica so much, right when we were kids and am glad she know her place now, i just hope she find someone who will love her dearly,” Edward said then cuddle Mabel.
“no need to worry because you’ll always be that queen that rule my heart,” he said sweetly.

The next day… ❤
Sarah and Princess were already at school with Mabel who took them in her car. Their friends were happy to see them, Mabel reported to the headteacher about their arrival and the report of the surgery, its been some months already and they’re perfectly fine.
“welcome back to school Princess and Sarah,” the head teacher said with a smile.
“thank you ma’am,” they replied.
“you need need to be more serious now because the school is going on the christmas holiday soon and that means your exams is just next week,” she said.
“next week? Mabel asked.
“sure,”
“i don’t think i can cope with that, we’ve missed a lot in school already,” Sarah said.
“don’t worry Sarah i will teach you all the necessary things you need to know, we’ll help each other in this,” Princess said.
“school work will be so much on them, but i will also try to help them out,” Mabel said while the head teacher nodded.

▪▪▪ “do you think you can do this exams, if you can’t, i will just talk to the headmistress and you’ll resume back next time,” Mabel said.
“no need mom, we’ll just cope, just trust your girl,” Princess said while Mabel smiled.
“you talk too much Princess, anyway you two should have a good day i have to go, am runing late for work already,” Mabel said.
“ok mummy, take care,”
“thank you mom Mabel,” Sarah said with a smile.
“thank you too,” Mabel replied with a smile then left.

” Sarah,”
“huh, Greg? Sarah said with a smile when she saw him.
“thank goodness, you guys came,” Greg said while Princess smiled.
“thank you,” Princess said to Greg, then turn to Sarah.
“we need to go to cla-ss now, we have a lot to recover,” Princess said.
“huh.. okay, let me just talk to Greg,” Sarah said while Princess nodded then walked to the cla-ss.
“isn’t she happy to see me? Greg asked Sarah.
“of course she is. Princess is right, we need to recover all that we’ve miss and beside you know how Princess react when she’s serious,” Sarah said while Greg nodded.
“okay then, am just glad to see you in school today, i guess i will tell my nanny or mom to bring me to your house anytime soon,” Greg said.
“thank you, it gonna be so much fun, i have to go now, take care,” Sarah said happily then ran back to the cla-ss to Princess.
✨Edward was planing to go on vacation with his family, he told Mabel about that and she agreed to it, he also told Erica but she told him she can’t go with them.
“you can go with Sarah but am staying behind Edward, i have told you earlier i don’t want to add more to your problems. And besides i just want to make you happy,” Erica said while Edward nodded, he felt so relief having a good and un-derstanding Erica now.
“anyway, thanks for being more un-derstanding,” Edward said while she smiled.
✨ Princess and Sarah were both seated by the swimming pool side, busy with their books.
“so Princess you think we can read all this before exams? Sarah asked.
“why not, we can do this together, mom is willing to help us too,” Princess said while Sarah nodded.
“Greg said he’ll gonna come and he isn’t here,” Sarah said so worried.
“come on Sarah. Greg will show up anytime soon,”
“what! Sarah exclaim so happily, when she sighted Greg with his nanny coming.
“you see, talking about him, and here he is,” Princess said.
“i thought he wouldn’t come,” Sarah smile then stood up.
“sorry Sarah, my mom and nanny have to fixed something before bringing me here,” Greg said when he was closer to them.
“your mom is here? Sarah asked.
“sure, she’s at the sitting room with your mom,” he replied.
“it a good thing you showed up, maybe you can help us out here,” Sarah said with a smile while Princess frown seeing how Greg pay his attention on Sarah and not even noticing her…🙄
