“Noooooo!!!” She yelled and quic-kly opened her closed eyes. She was breathing heavily alre-ady. She looked around in fear.
Oh Goodness! She g@sped. She was at home. It was a bad dream. A nightmare. She was sweating profusely even after the cool breeze coming from the windows. She looked at the hvge clock on the wall and sighed. It was 1:52am alre-ady.
It seemed she had sle-pt off and didn’t realize time had pas-sed for the club night. But she was relieved she didn’t go. Maybe the dream was a sign. A sign of no sneaking out! A sign of no more clubs!.
She looked at the other side but didn’t see Deborah who was supposed to be by her side.
“Where is she? Aiish! I’m scared. I can’t sleep alone! Is she praying in the sitting room or what?” She said aloud. She carefully la-id her head back to the hvge pillow.
Her thoughts went back to how Collins was in her dream. Poor Collins! She realized he must have love her after all.
***(THE NEXT MORNING)***
“How was the p@rty?” Alexa laughed. Elizabeth felt her heart beat skip. She shivered a bit and looked at them.
“No more club p@rties girls!” She smiled.
“Wh.. What?” Her friends yelled simultaneously.
“Wait? Is this really Lizzy? Hey. Did you repent and decided to behave just like your sister?” Alexa laughed
“What’s going on? Lizzy loves clubs like hell! Don’t tell me you were caught” Flora asked laughing.
“No.. No! I wasn’t caught,, I just had a nightmare so I bec@mÂŁ pretty scared. Would you wanna go if you were on my shoes?” Lizzy frowned
“But what dream was that?” Flora asked as Alexa nodded agreeing with her.
“Just one nons-en-se nightmare like that. Anyways, It’s over! Let’s talk about something else!” Lizzy smiled
“Like what? Here’s so boring” Alexa gro-an ed. They saw Collins who walked towards them. He held his school bag closely while he was knotting his n£¢k tie.
“Hey? You’re off?” Alexa asked.
“Well.. Yeah, See you guys soon!–
Bye, Elizabeth” He whispered. Lizzy re-moved her gaze as only looking at him would bring her negative thoughts back. She also sighed in relief. She was glad he was’nt really hurt but it was rather a mere dream.
“Collins? When are you gonna graduate?” Flora asked in a loud voice. Collins looked at her.
“Uh.. Actually, Today is my last paper so I guess we are gonna graduate soon” Collins replied
“Wow. So from tomorrow, No school for you huh? Till it’s time for your Valentory?” Flora asked.
“I’m surprised as well. Time sure flies fast!” Collins replied
“Anyways, Good luck with your today’s papers!”
“Thanks Noona. Take care!” He smiled and left.
“Hey! Your brother is charming you know. You had better find a girl for him!” Flora laughed
“Which girl? Or do you wanna be the girl?” Alexa replied frowning.
“No! Hey… Lizzy, d@tÂŁ Collins!” Flora gushed
“Wh.. What? N.. No… No, Why.. Wo.. Would.. I?” She stammered avoiding their eye contact. She was nervous alre-ady.
“What’s wrong with her?” Flora laughed
“We were just joking okay!” Alexa laughed too.
“Alexa.. What about you? d@tÂŁ Eric!” Lizzy said
“Eric? Hmm… Nah!” Alexa replied
“What? Why?” Flora and Lizzy asked simultaneously
“I don’t have feelings for him anymore”
“Huh? Is that even possible?” Flora asked
“Of course! It is. I just don’t know what happened or what took over me. I wondered where my feelings disappeared to” Alexa bit herl-ips
“Wow! But something must have made you to end your crush!” Lizzy snapped
“Huh? Well… Yeah, I guess” Alexa shrugged her shoulders.
“You see.. So, what happened?” Lizzy asked
“Yeah. Tell us!”
“Uhmm… Actually girls, My feelings for him started leaving started when I got k!$$ÂŁd” Alexa whispered tou-ching her lowerl-ip.
“What?!!!” They exclaimed
“Hey! Keep it down!” Alexa whispered with a frown on her face.
“Sorry.. Sorry, Continue!” Flora yelped
“From who though? I’m so curious” Lizzy bulged her eyes.
“Me too!” Flora agreed
“Well… Remember that night I was waiting for Eric to confess my feelings. He didn’t show up–Alexa paused and looked at Flora who sadly stared at the floor.
“He said you were the one that delayed him. Don’t worry, I’m not gonna ask why. You must have gotten a reason for” Alexa smiled. Flora looked at her and smiled back.
“Anyways, That night Ethan was drun!kand when he c@mÂŁ into the room. He saw me and…… k!$$ÂŁd me”
“E… Ethan?!” They exclaimed again.
“Hey! If someone hears you, I’m gonna kill you!” Alexa retorted
“Oh My God!! So, you like him now huh? Ethan? You like him?” Flora asked
“Yeah. I think so, Instead, I know so, I like him. He isn’t really that bad” Alexa smiled
“Wow. But, Does he like you too?” Flora asked again
“Huh… Actually, I don’t know–
“What’s this?! Hellooo??? He k!$$ÂŁd you and he’s supposed to have feelings for you? Duurh!” Lizzy stressed her voice as she rolled her eye ba-lls.
“Well.. The thing is that… Uhh, He doesn’t actually remember that night”
“What? Remember that night? Seriously?! The night he k!$$ÂŁd you? Hey! He took away your sweet v!rg!nli-ps but he doesn’t remember? Is he crazy? Hey! Take me to him! I wanna kill him!” Flora yelped standing up.
“Take it easy!” Alexa laughed. Flora sat down still frowning her face.
“It’s fine, seriously!”
“Wait. Are you sure he doesn’t remember?” Lizzy asked.
“I guess. He told me he didn’t remember”
“Lair. He’s lying. He’s trying to avoid it because it really embarras-sing to k!ssa guy, so as he thinks” Lizzy added
“It’s better you make him remember” Flora commented
“Make him remember?” Alexa asked confused
“Yeah. Try telling him and let’s see his next step. Who knows, he might be waiting for you to tell him” Lizzy smiled
“Wow. I guess you are right. I will do so” Alexa smiled.
“Anyways… How was it?” Flora win-ked
“What?” Alexa asked giggling
“The k!ssof course!”
“Huh.. It was sweet and so…. goodness! . I thought I was in paradise” Alexa smiled tou-ching herl-ips and li-cked it quic-kly.
“Ahhhhhhh!” Her friends screamed.
“Look at her blu-shing. Are you sure it wasn’t a slight pe-ck?” Lizzy asked smiling
“No. It was’nt. He went in here!–Alexa paused and pointed her f!nger into her opened mouth.
“I haven’t k!$$ÂŁd so de-ep and ro-mantic before” She smiled
“Why say “before” when you haven’t even been k!$$ÂŁd at all. You’ve never even been pe-cked before from a guy!” Flora laughed
“Hey! Look at who’s talking. Oh, I un-derstand! It’s because you’ve d@tÂŁd before huh?” Alexa laughed.
“Anyways girls, Enough with the gist. It’s late! You’ve got to go to work and we’ve got to go!” Lizzy gushed
“Oh dear! You’re right. Adios amigos!” Alexa stood up and ran out.
“Look at her speaking French!” Lizzy smiled
“No. It’s Spanish” Flora sm-irked
“Aiish! Whatever!…….Flora, What about my “anonymous crush”?” Lizzy asked staring at Flora.
“Oh… Yeah, Do you wanna meet him?” Flora asked
“Well yeah. At least I should him a try” Lizzy smiled
“Alright then. I’m gonna talk to him. Just set the d@tÂŁ okay?”
“Okay!”
*****(THE POLICE STATION)*****
“Awww! Look who’s here? You’re late Miss!” Laura laughed.
“Pardon me!” Alicia laughed back. She sat down and smiled looking at her.
“Why are you staring at me like that?” Laura asked chuckling
“Ethan was lucky! Wow. No guy would ever say “No” to you!” Alicia replied still staring
“Well. Actually, A guy has told me “No” before” Laura cleared her throat.
“What? Seriously? Who’s that unnie?”
“I was in school then”
“School? Oh.. I un-derstand, Maybe you were quite ugly then” Alicia laughed
“Hey!!” Laura yelled
“Sawrry!!” Alicia laughed. “It’s a joke!” She added.
“Anyways, I was still pretty then. I saw a guy who saved me. I fell in love at first sight”
“Wow. You told him your feelings right?”
“Yeah. I did. I was behaving too childish then”
“Hmm.. So, you told him and he rejected you?”
“I wouldn’t say he really rejected me though”
“What? How? Explain”
“Actually… He wasn’t a guy”
“What?”
“I later knew he was a girl”
“What? A girl?”
“Well…But he was a girl. Sort of a “Tomboy!”….Yeah, It’s ha-rd to believe huh?” Laura asked
“Uhh.. I don’t know” Alicia bit her l!pha-rd .
“But unnie, which high school did you attend?” She added
“Blue Pearls High School” She replied smiling.
••”It’s my sister school too? Was she talking about my sister? The guy that was a girl?” Alicia thought as she stared at blank space.••
“Hey? What are you thinking about?” Laura woke Alicia from her thoughts.
“Oh.. Hmm, I was just surprised! Wow!” Alicia retorted
“Me too! A girl who I thought to be a boy” Laura chuckled.
“Unnie–Alicia breathed de-eply
“What?” Laura asked.
“Let’s get down to business, should we?”
“Yeah… Sure”
“……Can I have the name of the person who hit my dad? The person that drove your car that day?” Alicia asked as Laura adjusted her gaze to her.
