“Baby. You Have to push, you can do this. Believe me”
David motioned to Rosiana in the labour room.
She’s been here for three straight hours, screaming out in pains and almost giving up on life itself.
The pain, it’s hell.
🌶️ Seconds ago🌶️
“I… I want my husband… I want to see him” ..
She screamed out in tears and pain.
That’s what she wants at the moment. Her husband.
She nee-ds him around her now, she nee-ds to double her strength, she can feel life dwindling away from her.
Only the sight of her husband can keep her going.
“Nurse, go get her husband here”
“But doctor, you know it isn’t right to be in the labour room with…
“At this point, we should listen to her cry. She’s in pain and loosing strength. The more she push, the weaker she gets.
If bringing her husband here as she request will help her out, I see no reason why we’d refuse that”
The doctor said to the nurse and she nodded. Going out of the labour Room to get David.

” David I can’t do this.”
She cried bitterly as David held her hand.
“No baby. You can. plea-se don’t say that. Just push plea-se. I know you can do this. That’s why I’m here ”
Rosiana shook her head negatively in tears.
“Yes you can Ana. You can.
Your mother, Janietta, Noel, junior and Kayla are out there waiting for you and their baby brother ..”
Rosiana cracked a small laugh.
“It’s a girl I want. Not a boy”
“And a girl you Shall have. Just push Baby. You’re almost there.
Remember the nights we made big plans for our baby. Remember the cute names we chose and the promising life we agreed to give our child??”
Rosiana took a de-ep breath, staring into the eyes of the man she loves most in the world, Her husband.
“I remember”
She nodded, and pushed with every bit of strength in her.
” Good, Baby. Push again. I’m right here with you. You’re almost there”
He k!$$£d her hand as his shi-t soa-ked with h0t sweat.
Rosiana nodded and pushed yet again…
“The head is out. Don’t st©p pushing”
The doctor happily announced.
“You hear that?” Rosiana laughed amidst Her cries…
Staring at her husband with hopeful eyes.
“Yes Baby. Another push, and this will be over.”
David as-sured.
Ana gave a straight face with a nod and took one last de-ep push.
“Aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!”
Puff!
The Baby c@m£ out with a cry.
“God! You did it. Baby you did it! I’m so proud of you”
David cried out. His tears dropping on Ana’s be-d…
“We did it”
She whispered weakly into the ear of her husband whose face t©uçhed the side of hers.
He’s in tears of joy.
“It’s a girl. A beautiful baby girl” one of the nurse announced with a big smile.
“You heard that Baby. You won. A baby girl for us. A beautiful baby. Just like her mother”
“A beautiful baby girl.”
Ana nodded with a faint smile. She stared at her crying baby who was wra-pped with a piece of clothing in the doctor’s hand.
Slowly, she drifted into a de-ep sleep.

Rosiana and David alongside the kids and her mother lived a happy life.
The coming of Annabelle into the Romero’s family was a blessing.

Alicia always c@m£ around to pay little Anabelle a visit and also buying goodies for David’s kids who later made friends with her and promised never to prank her.
Still, Alicia never st©pped teasing David. As they were great friends alre-ady.

She has been living peacefully with her husband Oscar who takes great care of her and their son, Joshua.

Alicia on her own moved out of town a week after her best friend’s wedding. She relocated to new Jersey where she’s trying to Live a normal life and off course, fall back in love.
She finds herself getting attra-cted to her neighbor, Jayson.
It’s been eight months she moved to her new ap@rtment and Jayson has been more than friendly to her. She’s certain he likes her and she too likes him.
But not to rush, she wants to try this a new way. She doesn’t want history repeating itself on her. She’s learnt her lesson alre-ady.

I know we’ve all been wondering what later happened to Mike.
Well, this should help satiate your curiosity.
The night after he got apprehended by the police, it was discovered that he has been feeding lately on Overdose which was gradually eating up his health and way of thinking straight.
After treatment on the leg he was sh0t, he was taken to an asylum where he received treatment to help re-adjust to his normal state of mind.
After a year and six months in the asylum, he was re-leased with a warning, never to overdose or use of drugs in other not to spike his mental disorder.
After a two month rest at home, he got a chance to work at one company outside town, he’s still striving to get back as a doctor since the result of his mental disorder has denied him of his Chance back as a doctor in any hospital.
He moved out of Texas and vowed never to return.
He’s disappointed at himself. Too much memories to hold on to. He just wanna leave all in Texas.
He has learned his lesson the ha-rd way.
Currently, he’s working as an employee in one local company. He’s a bit satisfied with it even if the salary isn’t worth the one he earned before as a doctor.
” Having a little is better than nothing ”

We’ve reached the end of 🎩SINGLE DAD 🤵
And Gosh! I’m gonna cry. I’ll really miss writing this. But nonetheless, this will pave way for a new story to come.
This book has so many lessons to give. The very first and obvious lesson it has is LOVE.
Love, is something no one can f0rç£.
Love happens for a reason and on its own. Love is something you never plan to do.
But sometimes, when a situation becomes dire, love becomes a decision.
Using Alicia and Mike as a case study. Alicia who was so obsessed with David to a fault, despite the means she decided to have David. The Attem-pted murder on Rosiana, the love-crazy-mood-swings, the vows she made to get David at all cost, none of this brou-ght her any closer to David.
Snapping herself out of this obse-ssion for David wasn’t easy at all. She lost herself in the process. She lost her job, her normal life.
But it’s a good thing she was able to bounce back and still retain her friendsh!pwith David.
This shows she is a good person and a strong lady too.
( It is mostly common for two lovers to breakup and become enemies thereafter, but in the case of Alicia, it wasn’t so. Even though her love for David turned her into something she was not)
Loving a wrong person can turn you into someone you are not.
Mike as an example.
We all knew him as someone cool, nice and all at the start. But falling for Ana changed all that about him.
He bec@m£ a friend to overdose, he bec@m£ an abductor ( kidnapping Ana)
He almost bec@m£ a ra-pist too remembering how he almost f0rç£d himself on Ana.
Love virtually turned him into someone he’s not. And till now, he’s still trying to bounce back to his old self.

Love Brings Life. Love Brings death. Love isn’t always as sweet as honey or peaceful as a be-d of Rose. Mosttimes, love cost us something dear. Especially when we fall for someone who isn’t meant for us.
So, whenever ma-king a decision to love, plea-se make a right choice and be in control of your heart.
