“Finally the last paper is done I’m free no more exams” I said whilst we walked to the auditorium for practice
“You feel awfully happy about writing music it’s not even a legit subject” she replied
“I don’t care I wrote it and I’m confident that I’ll pa-ss the same way I’m as in literature” I said
“No surprise there ” she replied
“You seem really eager to leave the school” Michael said blocking our Way
“Why are you here ” Clary said in my defense
“Just wanted to see who she’s going to the dance with” he replied
“She’s going with me ” Owen said popping out of nowhere
“Nope she’s gonna go with me ” Michael said glaring at Him
“Well I asked her first and I’m the best candidate for her ” Owen replied returning the glare
“Just stop it both of you I’m going with neither of you ” I finally said
“Then who are you going with” Michael asked but his phone suddenly rang and he left
“No one„ I’m going with Clary ”I said and dragged Clary away but Owen pulled me back by my backpack
“Hey what are you doing let me go ” I said
“ You know you’re just like Hermia as Helena described ‘And though she be but little, she is fierce.’ ” he said
“ ha ha is that supposed to be a compliment or what” I replied

“ hmph ” I said and rolled my eyes “now let me go”i added
“Of course it tiring looking down at you anyways” he said letting me go

“I am„ I’m like 5 ft 7 now if not taller”he said

I walked into the practice room and found Andrew sitting already he’s awfully early today
“You’re late” he said whilst turning around does this mean we’re back together
I sat down and stared at Him
“When are you going to stop gawking and start playing” he said
Did he just ignore what happened yesterday what the..
I started playing the piano and as we sang I missed a several keys because I wasn’t focused
When the song ended he said
“What’s wrong you missed keys,you’ve never done that and you’re acting a bit awkward today”
“ Awkward oh I’m awkward let me tell you why,you kis-sed me yesterday and pretended like nothing even happened” I retorted
“That’s because nothing happened” he said
“ the kis-s was nothing right I can’t believe I for the first time in my life challenged my mom Because of you ” I said
“Well you should have done it sooner” he retorted
”Do you have any idea how I feel right now” I said
“How you feel,,do you have any idea how I felt when you ignored me Ava for three damn freaking years I tried to move on Ava and now I’m finally trying to get over you .. „„it was a wrong idea agreeing to do this stupid song just stay out of my life Ava and I’ll stay out of yours we’re nothing to each other not friends nothing” he said already fuming
“Andrew how can you say that I’m sorry I’ve apologised a million times ” I replied
“And apologies can change anything” he said
“It’s not you it’s me I still love you please” I said

Andrew had yelled at me of course he had OCD it’s inevitable for him to get angry but the fact that he yelled at me was too painful for me to comprehend
I held his hand as he left but he furiously pushed me away and Left
I sat on the floor and sobbed

I woke up extra early today since today’s the play and all
I went to the ice skating rink to skate a little before the event started
As I started skating I bumped into Michael
I hid my face and skated in the opposite direction
“Courtney I see you” he said and I turned back slowly
“Oh hey Michael didn’t see you there” I replied
“Really cause it looks like you Were trying to run away” he said
“No not at all” I replied
“ I just wanted to wish you good luck and also tell you that I’m moving to Italy something came up and I have to go I might or might not be back” he said
“Oh ok I’ll miss you a little teeny bit” I replied
“I’ll get going I’m leaving tomorrow anyway” he said
“Bye Michael” I replied and he suddenly pulled me into a hug and said “I’ll Miss you Courtney and be careful ” and then left
I left the ice skating rink not long after and as I walked I felt like someone was trailing me I continuously looked back to see if anyone was there but there was no one suddenly someone pulled into a dark alley
“Shhhh ” the person said and as I looked up it was Michael
“Michael what are you doing here ” I asked
“I told you to be careful well I heard Amber plotting to kidnap you and I saw someone particularly following you so let’s go” he said and dragged me along to his car
He dropped me off at home and said “don’t be late to practice”
“ I won’t” I said and alighted

I was walking throu-ghthe hallway to the dance room when suddenly someone pulled me into the Janitor’s closet I catched a glimpse of the person’s face
It was Sasha and she grinned at me then locked me in
Oh no I’m claustrophobic
My eyes were spinning and I fell on the floor

Claustrophobia means fear of ti-ght spaces

I had the most evil and exciting grin on my face as Sasha walked throu-ghthe door
“Is it done ” I said
“Not technically” she replied
“What do you mean not technically” I said
“Well I sent someone to kidnap Courtney but they couldn’t get her and then I saw Clary being so clingy around Jason so I executed my plan on her not Courtney ” she replied
“What” I exclaimed
“Well my wish is already done so I don’t need your stupid alliance ” she said
“What did you just double cross me ” I said
“I told you that I could not be Trusted and why the hell didn’t you do it yourself ” she replied
“Well who will I blame when I’m caught” I said
“Well now you can blame yourself as for me I’m going to get busy with Jason ” she said attempting to walk away
“You bitc-h” I said and she stuck out her tongue to me

“I’d like to see you try” she said and left

Ava paced around the room waiting for Andrew to show up
Amy on the other hand got ready for her solo which was about to happen any minute now she peeked from the backstage at the huge auditorium which was full with little or no space remaining
The host of the event introduced her and she went up to the stage she stood at the microphone and she immediately sp-otted her mother she started her song

Suddenly she saw Sebastian and her heart skipped a beat, she stopped singing suddenly not even realizing it
She locked eyes with Sebastian who seemed rather disappointed
She then changed the song even though she didn’t expect to

Everyone had gathered backstage for the preparation for the play
Jason nudged Owen and said
“Well that’s one out of your list of stalkers ” Owen only asked
“Where’s Andrew ?”
“I don’t think he’ll make it in today I guess he’s trying to avoid Ava” was Jason’s reply
“seriously ” Owen said
“ I haven’t really seen Clary all morning ” Jason said
“Well go look for her” Owen said averting his eyes to look for Courtney but didn’t find her so he went out after Jason to also look for Courtney
As she finished the song she took up the microphone and said on stage
“I want to give a special thanks to Sebastian Russo for helping me with like everything and I want to publicly apologise to Courtney Harper for everything I did to her and thank Ava Sharpé for being there for me and not to forget thank Owen Crossley for helping me realize what I actually want „ thank you all ” Amy said,bowed and ran off the stage to Sebastian and threw her hands around pulling Him into a ti-ght hug and as they broke the hug he said
“I never knew you were so cheesy”
“Well I learnt from the best” she said
“You know„ I’m a shy princess so I can’t say the word I love you” she added
“It’s not true you just said I love you” he replied

“You’re awfully so polite ” she said

“Has anyone seen Andrew he’s supposed to go up like right now” the director said
“No” everyone chorused
He turned to Ava
“What are you going to do should we pair you with someone else or will you know just sing anything that comes into your mind” he said
“ No worries I’ll sing the song by myself” she replied
“By yourself that’s almost impossible the original song is a duet” he said
“It’s not Impossible and I’m going to do it” she said and climbed up the stage
She started her piano Solo and sang

Tears trickled down her cheeks as she continued with the chorus
She wanted to begin the second verse when she heard Andrew’s guitar from the other side of the stage
Her eyes was fixed on him as he walked towards her he gave her a warm smile and continued singing

She stared at him for a while, while playing the piano and they started the chorus
As they finished the song Ava was the first to leave and Andrew followed suit
As she angrily walked away Andrew held back and pulled her into a kis-s
Ava pushed him away a little too gently than she’d expected to and said with tears welling up in her eyes
“I get it you can’t be with me anymore because of what I did but do you necessarily have to play with my emotions and confuse me „ I feel like an idiot Andrew „you keep doing this keep making me feel this way,, well I’m sorry do I have to scream it from the rooftops before you get the point ,,, just tell me do you still like me or not ,, I promise I’ll leave you alone after this,, so I can finally get to move on from my mistake”
“Ava„I’m ..sorry ,, I’m the one supposed to be apologising not you , I was mad for unnecessary reasons just because I couldn’t face the fact that I’m still in love with you„I’m sorry Ava„I didn’t mean to confuse or make you feel like an idiot …” he said and Ava pulled him into a de-eper long kis-s
“I just can’t stay mad at you Andrew” she said and they both Chuckled

I searched for Clary and couldn’t find her anywhere
Then I met Jason and Owen
“Courtney I was looking for you everywhere the play Will begin after the duet ”he said but I ignored him and turned to Jason
“Jason have you seen Clary you Know her being your duet partner and all” I said to him
“I was about to ask you the same question ” he replied
“Wait where’s Sasha ” I asked as the most probable theory popped into my head
“In the dressing room getting ready ” he replied
“I knew it ” I said and ran off to the Janitor’s closet
Sasha was jealous because Clary had gotten the duet with Jason and not her and if Sasha knew Clary was claustrophobic judging by the fact that every single place is spacious in this school the only possible ti-ght space will be the Janitor’s closet
I opened the door to find Clary on the floor unconscious Jason quickly rushed and took her up in his arms and carried her to The med bay I followed swiftly behind
Luckily the nurse was in the bay and Jason laid her on the bed and left to inform Everyone on what had happened
I took her and after a few minutes of treatment she slowly opened her eyes and sat on the bed
“Lie down” I said to her
“I’m fine don’t worry About me” she replied
“Why shouldn’t I you’re not fine thanks to Sasha” I said
“You know about it” she replied
“Of course I do it wasn’t a surprise anyway cause I seem to be having a lot of those lately ” I said
“Really which ” she replied
“Rest you shouldn’t be talking ” I said
“I want to know” she replied
“Ok well apart from the fact that Amber also tried to kidnap me and Amy apologised to me on stage and Michael leaving ” I said
“ I’m happy for you now you get to be with Owen no obstructions” she replied
“ If you weren’t lying in that bed I would have kicked or smacked you hard” I said
“Well lucky me I guess” she replied
“You seem to be having a lot of luck today” I said
“Like..” she replied
“The fact that Jason carried you here in his arms ” I said
She looked shocked at the statement and immediately squealed
“ Only the thought of me being in Jason’s arms is enough medicine to cure any disease” she replied
“ Lovesickness ” I said
“Well you should go the play Will soon begin ” she replied
“I can’t leave you here” I said
“You have to besides I have Jason to keep me company” she said

“Just you wait Courtney Harper it’ll be true one day ” she said
“Don’t worry your fantasy will soon become reality” I replied
“Yes now go so they’ll have enough time to finish your make up” she said
“Okay okay I’m going see you later” I replied

I received a call from Chloe wishing me best of luck
?The Play?
The first scene started with Theseus and Hippolyta then Egeus,Hermia Lysander and Demetrius followed
The scene of the kis-s finally came and I couldn’t bring myself to kis-s Owen and then he came closer and whispered into my ear “ I see you’re nervous,well let me make it easy for you” then he slowly kis-sed me
The kis-s I’d avoided and so feared of happening just happened
He drew away from me and that scene ended
The play ended not too long after and the director commended us for our good work and then the winter dance began
I went outside to get some fresh air everything was good right I’d retained my scholarship Clary was well me Amy and Ava are illegitimate friends
I sat at the pool and tears trickled down my cheeks Owen came to join me and said
“Why are you crying was the kis-s that touching”
“That’s exactly my problem Owen it was my first and it was on stage it meant nothing I wanted to have with someone that at least cares about me ” I replied
“I do ” he said
“Oh shut up Owen when are you going to stop this good guy attitude a leopard never changes it’s sp-ots and you are a leopard well I guess it was on stage so it’s Hermia’s kis-s not mine” I retorted and left
