“I don’t really care as long as I don’t repeat the cla-ss ” I said

“I don’t want to besides no one cares if I fail my dad can always make me pa-ss” I replied
“Well I care I care about you and your grades and your overall well being” he said
I stared at Him for sometime then suddenly got mad
“You can’t make me study I don’t want to and I won’t it’s none of your business” I said
“Then why are throwing a tantrum you could just say it calmly” he said
“Calmly I scoffed you’re just so annoying” I said and left
I seriously didn’t get why I got mad well it’s his fault for making me feel this way I can’t believe I used studying as a cover up so lame

I waited in the music room for Andrew
I knew he probably won’t show up but I still anticipated his arrival
As luck could have it he walked throu-ghthe door and my heart skipped a beat
He stood for a while before coming over to the seat beside mine silence filled the room,the kind that you would hear even a pin drop
“Are we going to practice or did I just waste my time coming here ” he said finally breaking the silence

I sat down and kept replaying the event that just took place in my head all over again and I blus-hed profusely

“And what can„ if life is that you’re supposed to learn from your mistakes then allow me learn from mine” I retorted with a really loud voice

“Do not bother returning to my house with this decision and behavior of yours ” she said

“I can„ wait till your dad hears about it” she said
“Tsk the thing is it’ll still work in my favor and maybe against you ” I replied
“Ava I didn’t raise you this way who are you and what have you done with my daughter” she said
“I’m still your daughter the only thing that changed Is that I’m sick and tired of you constantly telling me what to do with my own life I get it you have to do this all moms have to just stop doing it extravagantly
At least mom try considering how I feel about all of this ” I said and walked away
“So you finally got the courage to stand up to your mom” Amy said
“How much did you hear?” I asked

“I do feel partly bad about it ” I said
“I get you but still you were on fire ” she replied
“I should go apologise ” I said
“That’ll spoil the whole point you’re trying to make but though you should still apologise later I guess”she said

“I’m sorry Ava ” she said before I could finish my sentence
“For what exactly”, I said
“For everything I’m sorry I changed I’m sorry I turned into a control freak and treated you badly I’m really really sorry Ava I forgot who was really there for me and let all the whole popularity complex get to me and used bullying as a cover up for my own personal pproblem” she said
“It’s all right Amy I was just angry that you or should I say we let ourselves be puppets to Amber nothing can change us nothing can change our friendship absolutely nothing” I replied
“I missed you Ava” she said
“I missed you more I mean this you not the je-rk you ” I replied

“So how do you plan on getting home when you know she’s like with the car and all ” she said as we walked towards the parking lot
“I have no idea” I replied
“Why didn’t she just send the driver” she added
“She’s like the definition of over protective and you expect her to send the driver then she’ll get really anxious and God knows what happens next” I said
“You know your mom really cares about you” she Said

“Even though mine is almost totally oblivious of my presence most of the time and dad makes it even worse” she said

I reached home and just went up to my room I didn’t find mom around either so I guess less problems

I got home to my parents quarreling there was shattered gla-ss everywhere and the maids kept trying to clean it but the more they did my parents just kept breaking more and more gla-sses
I plugged in my headphones and went up to my room they didn’t seem to notice me anyway
The noise got so loud that it overshadowed the sound of the music and I couldn’t even hear myself think
I furiously marched downstairs and called out to them but they were too engraved in the quarrel to hear me
I took a bottle of champagne and smashed it on the floor to make sure they heard me
They both turned to look at me as I screamed“ just shut the hell up«
“Oh Amy we didn’t notice you’re back from school”my mom said
“Who’s the we ” my dad replied
“I have no idea so cheese it” my mom said
“What did you just tell me woman” my dad said
“Stop it both of you stop behaving like children for Christ’s sake you’re fully grown up if you know you can’t deal with your marriage then just get a divorce instead of making my life more miserable then it already is it’s almost like you guys are my problem” I yelled
“How can we get a divorce when” my mom said but I cut her short
“It’s either you get divorced or I disown you if that exist even the orphanage is more peaceful the this house” I replied
“What’s wrong I give you everything” my dad said
“By everything you mean money and money just isn’t enough you guys haven’t even attended one school program and since I’ve been born there’s no festive season even no day you don’t fight each other I’m so sick and tired of it just get a divorce already” I retorted
“And I have a recital on Saturday not that you even care but try to come and Don’t quarrel if you do come ” I said
“I am really ready to discuss the terms of the divorce and even get you a divorce lawyer don’t worry one will be ready tomorrow tops” I added
“And lastly I’m trying to actually focus on studying so Stop quarreling” I said and Left
I went up to my room and played older by Sasha Sloan and just fell asleep
