Chapter 27

Amy POV
I woke up and sat on my bed yesterday I had a lot of sweets to wat more than Seb it was just too good well that’s the last I’ll have back to being a vegetarian I went to weigh on the scale to see if I added weight but I hadn’t Thank God I was scared for a moment I look in the mirror to find the greatest shock of my life there was a big pimple just below my nose I had a pimple this can’t be happening I have a shoot in like a day and school I can’t afford a pimple
I took my bath with tried using make-up to conceal it but it still showed I felt I slight pain on my forehead It was surely another pimple I Can’t go to school like this and I can’t miss school either I have to maintain a perfect attendance
Think Amy think I rushed to wardrobe I wore a nose mask with sungla-sses and a large cap to cover my forehead I looked ridiculous but I have to manage
I went downstairs to the usual quarrel between my parents which broke into utter silence
“Mom dad I’m out” I said
“Whatever” my dad said
“What’s with the look uare you going to Beach or something it’s winter”
“Leave her be woman” my dad said
“I’m asking about my daughter’s well being and I don’t see how it’s your business man”
Then they started quarreling and completely forgot about me they always do this since I was little it’s like how did they stay together all these years I went to school and met Ava at the parking lot
“Hi” I said to her but she ignored me and walked away
“Ava” I screamed going after her
“What do you want Amy I’m just not in the mood for anything right now you can go to Amber I’m busy” Ava replied
“You just got to school and you’re busy” I told her
“Well the piano is not going to play itself and what’s with that ridiculous outfit if Amber told you it suits you she lied you look like a clown” she said
“Well I didn’t tell her correction” Amber said coming into the conversation
“And that’s my cue to scram” Ava said and walked away
“Hmph”Amber said and turned to me
“Get that off I can’t be seen with you if you dressed like that ” she added
“I can’t” I said
“Then I’ll just have to for-ce it off” she said and dragged the mask and the hat off my head “the sungla-ss is better” she added then she froze
“Amy Is that a pimple on your face”
“What that’s ridiculous” I said covering my face
She pushed my hand and yelled a pimple then I covered her mouth but half of the school were already outside and I stormed off inside while Amber laughed get head off I met Ava at the hallway
I’m sorry about Amber
I know what you wanna say I told you so
Yes and no you can get acne treatment for it in the meantime keep the mask on she said and I walked away and stumbled on Sebastian
Amy he called out to me
You devil you persuaded me to ugh I can’t believe I agreed I’m so stupid well who sent you Amber
Amy I had no idea I’m really sorry he said and I walked away then he held me back Amy I mean it I’m really sorry and I just wanted to hang out with you I didn’t know this would happen
You liar I looked like a freak because of you I said and shrugged his hand off and he held me closer and said I don’t care what you look like Amy
That statement made me lose it and I slapped him and pushed him away
Who do you think you are you’re no one an I don’t care about what you think what will Owen say when he sees me I don’t nee your stupid sorry or pity
Well he doesn’t care about you but I do
Well don’t because I don’t care about what you think I said and walked away furiously
Amy he said and ran after me I went into the girls bathroom and locked the door
Amy he said from outside
Go away you despiteful Italian fool
Amy he said but I ignored him and he eventually went away
I felt a pang of guilt but I brushed it off and I let all the tears out everything I had tried to attain went to Rock bottom
Ava POV
I feel really bad for Amy but I have to focus on me now
I have to wait for Andrew I went to piano and started playing it It was my safe place I started singing without Andrew we were singing love you like I’m gonna lose you by Meghan Trainor and John legend well I picked the song
Andrew walked in and came over to the chair beside mine and I couldn’t help but stare I guess I’m still in love with him
I’m feeling vibes from Ava side oo

Amy POV
I bought acne cream and skincare sets
I reached home a little late but as usual they were quarreling like why did they get married I get that it’s an arranged marriage but can’t they just get a divorce instead of including me in their stupid personal life
“Mom dad I’m home” I said nonchalantly
“oh honey you’re back I saw the news how are you” Mom replied ignoring my dad Who was screaming his head off
“Shut up woman can’t you see she’s not in the mood Amy dear go to your room and rest I’ll have the chef whip up some food for you”
“The maid no worries mom’s going to cook for you ”she said drawing my cheek playfully and then giving my dad the stink eye
“ Amy you can’t eat it who knows if she’s trying to poison you with her bad cooking ” he said and gave orders to the chef to cook for me and I sighed and went up to my room while they continued yelling at each other
It’s always like this since I was little
I first started noticing it when I was 6 and since they’ve only gotten worse
10 years ago
It was My first day of elementary school I’d been homeschooled all my life because I had to perfect my singing
So this was almost like the last school term in the first year of elementary school
I went to their respective rooms to ask either one of them to drive me to school but none of them cared but just asked the driver to drive me I reluctantly got into the car that is while crying
I dropped at the school and I had no idea where to go to then I saw a boy and decided to ask him but when he turned to at me I froze his eyes were as blue as the sea with his Brown hair perfectly falling across his face he’s the definition of flawless beauty or will I say handsomeness
Then two other boys joined him
“Hello” the one at his right said
He was blonde with brown eyes and the one at his left had black hair with brown eyes
“I guess she’s another one ” the one at his left said
The boy in the middle gave me a sm-irk and I swear I almost fainted then a girl walked up to him and said
“fli-rting with another girl” she said looking at me
“Amber get out of my way I need to get somewhere” he said and Left
“No you’re mistaken” I said finally found my voice
“I wanted to ask for direction I’m kinda lost” I added
“Then you should have asked me” a girl my age said as she walked up to me
“I’m Ava,Ava Sharpé my aunt’s the principal you should stick with me she said dragging me away
“I’m Amy Amy Bluea”
“First let run you on how things work around here
Those three boys avoid them as much as possible their dads are like the top riche-st in LA and France even New York and Amber stay away from her she’s like spoilt daddy’s little princess she acts like she’s an actual princess with so much princess syndrome and she’s claims she Owen’s childhood sweetheart in short they’re trouble while I’m your Trump card so just stick with me”
“Who’s Owen”
“I guess I should explain more clearly
Owen is the boy in the middle that I saw you drooling over the blonde haired boy is Jason the black haired boy is Andrew I have like a teeny tiny crush on him just really little though”
“So his name is Owen I guess Amber’s the girl that walked up to us I heard him call her name”
“I Kinda like him” I said
“Its kinda obvious by just looking at you well I’m just looking out for you since you’re new stay away which cla-ss are you ”
“I think it’s cla-ss C ”
That’s my cla-ss I’ll take you There she said and extended her hand towards me
“Friends I said as I took her hand”
“Friends” she replied
Days pa-ssed and me and Ava became inseparable
One day we had a PTA meeting at school and I asked my parents to attend but my parents hired parents instead to attend
I was so embarra-ssed they always bailed on any meetings and events it was like they had no time for me I spent most of my time at Ava’s place and school because at home was a war zone and the only time I at least had peace was when they went on trips or for meeting growing up I literally just believed I was an orphan cause my parents were always M.I.A and Ava was the only one who actually knew what actually happened I was bullied a lot at school and Ava would always try to stand up for me but for the first year in middle school she didn’t show up at school I later found out she was being homeschooled and me and Amber became friends she taught me how to get rid of my bullies and soon enough I became feared I guess if you can’t be friends with them you make them fear you I felt power something I didn’t feel all my life cause I was weak both physically and emotionally but being friends with Amber I got to the top of the popularity chain and I was determined to make Owen mine soon enough Ava returned and she was really disappointed seeing me that way but we just decided to put everything aside and we all became friends I won’t call it friends more like frenemies Then Amber went to France and we were back to being just the two of us Ava was getting really depressed after the break up with Andrew and Asha came along she begged us to let her be the replacement for Amber and I agreed Ava was again jealous but brushed it away but I really felt guilty she had stood by me and I really pushed her away but I couldn’t risk my popularity and I had to be with Owen no matter what
Now Owen was and still is my goal even if Sebastian is Roxanne’s son Owen is way more Rich and handsome and also famous and Sebastian is a easily brainwashed je-rk the day for the event is approaching and I don’t need him anymore I have me myself and I to help me I’ll try to patch things with Ava she is my best friend after all but for now I can’t let Amber or Courtney get to Owen
