Except my dad
“Alisha” he said again
“Where’s Mom” I replied nonchalantly
“She’s inside” he said and I walked away into her room
“Mom why is he in the house”i said immediately I entered the room
“He asked that you move in with him” she said
“Me„„move in with him and his wife”i said
“Apparently his wife died and they had no children so he wants you to come„„actually he wanted both of you but Michael wouldn’t go ” she told me
“Well neither will I” I retorted
“Your school called me and said they’re considering putting you up for the transfer program in Italy he lives in Italy you know” she said
“I don’t care he left us in our worst times and now he suddenly wants to appear in our life and act like a father figure or something well I only need you Mom I don’t need him”i replied
“I don’t care about him because we’re not getting together I just care about you because you need this ” she said
“If it’s with”i said then she cut me short
“Asha stop this nonsense he left me he left Michael not only you I get it„I’m only thinking about your future here I’m your mother I know what’s best for you you have to take this chance while you still have it ”
“Alisha ”he said walking into the room
I turned to him furiously
“You can’t just appear suddenly in my life and act all„„I care about you and stuff because you don’t»now tell me if your wife hadn’t died would you have remembered you had a daughter here in LA ”
He stood speechless
“Answer me”I shouted at him

“Just like I thought you can’t say anything I’ve always known that you never cared about us that’s why you married a woman who was twice your age because you’re nothing but a gold digger there Is absolutely no way I’m moving in with you you left us on the streets we had nowhere to stay we had to stay with Grandma and you didn’t care you didn’t even send money for upkeep you just left and now suddenly you want to reappear in the picture and act like you’ve been There all my life Where were you when Mom was suffering to raise us where were you when she tried her best to establish a business huh one thing you should know is that„my picture has no room for someone like you” I said furiously and stormed off
“Alisha” he called after me
I walked towards my room and found Michael at the door
“What happened”he asked
“What do you think”i said still fuming with anger
“Is it dad” he replied
“I can’t believe the fact that you never told me you guys were in touch ” I told him furiously
“I didn’t because I knew you would react this way and I didn’t want you having a major breakdown” he told me
“Major breakdown who do you think I am Michael some wimpy little kid that always cries to mummy” I said angrily
“I was just looking out for you like you always did for me your my sister my twin for that cause” he said trying to calm me down
“I can take care of myself thank you very much” I said to him
“Michelle I know you’ve always been there for me and I’m trying to do the same you have to go stop caring about him think about the opportunities you’ll get forget about the past please”
“Forget well I have a thing about forgiving and forgetting”I said and walked to my room
Few minutes later
Someone knocked on my door
“Alisha I’m sorry open I promise I’ve changed ” my dad said
I gave no reply and he finally left
Then I heard another knock on my door I didn’t reply but the person came in anyway
“Hey girl ”the person said and I turned it was Amber
“Hi” I said with teary eyes
“Aww you crying” she said sm-irking
“No Never”I said cleaning my tears
“Sorry I heard about the daddy issues”she said mockingly
“Wait how did you know” I said a little shocked or a lot
“I have eyes and ears everywhere” she said sm-irking
“How.. never mind why are you here” u said
“So I heard the Halloween’s party coming up and I have like legit nothing to wear so and I guess since I’m back you’re no longer needed in the A BBY’s”
“What what do you mean Amy and Ava are my friends” I retorted
“Friends You were kinda always the replacement for me we only let you join cause you were all sobby and we had pity on you ” she said
“But …” I told her
“No buts have you forgotten the leader of the a BBYs .. good me so you better shut up” she said
“But Amber” I replied
“The only way you can stay and I’m not sure you’re staying for long because of your you know daddy issues and stuff but yeah you can stay on one condition just cause I’m generous” she said with a evil sm-irk
“What condition” I said
“You have to sew me the best Halloween costume the whole if Riverton has ever seen you’re particularly skilled in that aspect so sew it”she told me
“In such short notice it’s just one day away and plus school there’s no way I can finish it before Halloween”
“Well I don’t care,figure it out if you can’t come to school it’s your luck I don’t care all I know you have to finish my costume or you’re out of the A BBY’s and you know what that’ll cost you major fall in the social ladder so choose wisely

”I want a cat woman costume I mean the kind of costume that’ll make Owen eyes never leave my body that kind if costume and also Amy insisted I remind you for her costume”
“Ok I get it” I said and she stood up to leave
She walked to the door and said
“PS my costume must be a hundred times better than Amy’s I mean a lot”
“I get It”
“Bye” she said giving me an evil grin
I didn’t answer dad calls and worked my bu-tt all day and all night to make mine and Amber costume
I delivered the costumes to the respected location and in no time it was Halloween

Courtney POV
Me and Clary were dressed up as Rem and Ram from the re zero anime I was rem but I used a wig there was no way I was cutting my hair or dyeing it for an Halloween party Clary who was naturally a red head was dressed as Ram she dyed her hair and curled it short even though Ram’s hair isn’t curled we had the maids outfit Clary suggested we dress as sweet and spicy or sugar and pepper specifically because of the kind of foods we like I liked sweet foods like chocolate and ice cream also Fruits while Clary like spicy foods
Then the A BBY’s walked in that is without Asha Amber had a really ti-ght cat woman costume that revealed all her shape I must admit it was so cute and s-exy all at the same time while Amy wore a queen bee costume a shape revealing costume it had ? stri-pes and she wore a crown with the costume while on the other hand Ava costume was a worker bee costume and it looked like an actual bee it was cute and not shape revealing
After some time Asha came in with her costume I expected her to be a worker bee but she was dressed up as a goth I must admit her costume was really good their costume almost made me regret doing a sister cosplay with Clary but it didn’t she’s like my twin sister now we’re inseparable
The life of the party came in which is the Kings NOTE I’m rolling my eyes on that statement
Owen wore a prince costume seriously egotistic much the rest of them well I don’t care but Michael wore a knight armour and they both came to me and Michael said
“Courtney you’ll be my damsel and I’ll be your knight in shining armor ”I rolled my eyes
While Owen said
“Knight what a joke everyone one knows a Princess needs a prince charming and I will be your prince mi’lady”
Clary whispered into my ear
It’s Halloween at Least have some fun she said And left I smi-rked just then Michael sp-otted Asha and he left

At the A BBYs table
Can you guys stop staring at Owen and Courtney if she looked your way those death glares would have killed her” Ava said
“Like Why is she talking to him” Amber said furiously
“ Owen has been all protective Prince over since last month it makes me hate her the only person allowed at Least to have competition with me for Owen is you and no one else” Amy replied
“Well it’s not like she likes Owen so it’s safe” Ava
“Are you saying he likes her” Amy said
“Maybe I don’t know”
“Did she just Pat his shoulder ” Amber said rising up from the table
“Calm down it’s just a pat at least stop this for just today let’s forget about boys” Ava said dragging her to sit

”Asha’s dad got married to my grandmother she’s Italian and I think they met online my granny was so blinded by love that she left all the papers and docu-ments in his name and when she died he inherited everything my mom didn’t even get a dime but I don’t care and that automatically makes you my step Aunt and Michael my step uncle right”
“I guess so but how could your dad do such a thing you said he left but this is a whole nother level” Ava said looking concerned
By now the whole party was on hold and everyone was gathered taking pictures and making videos
“Aww she’s speechless you should better for that transfer program because this is a major fall in the social ladder kaboom that’s how your life goes” Amber said sm-irking
“You witch” Michael said and tried to attack her but I held him back and said
“She’s right” I said in tears and ran outside
I was waiting for my driver on a bench when Amy and Ava rushed out to me and sat close to me on the bench
Ava was the first to break the long silence when she said
“I’m sorry for what happened inside Amber’s a je-rk for that even though we ain’t always on the same page I still think of you as a friend we both infwwe all know that the A BBYs is a popularity concept even if you’re out we’ll always be friends no matter where you are even if you’re in Italy ” Ava said

“Amy ..” Ava said hitting her and we laughed
“What it’s the truth well if I’m saying the sincere truth you should go to Italy this costume Amber’s Ava’s yours they’re all so beautiful and if you’re here all these talent will just go to waste I know your dad isn’t the best Trust me I know the feeling but just do it for yourself for your mom I’ll go now” Amy said and smiled at me
“I agree with Amy you should go ” Ava said
“Do you know what it means to stay with him” I retorted
“I don’t but I do know that you have to go to Italy get a fresh start Learn go to Where no one knows you” Ava said
“I think by now I’m trending on social media ” I replied chuckling
“Yeah but you have to go” she said
“My driver’s here I’ll go ” I said getting up

I drove into the school and went into the hallway

I stormed off to the fashion studio it was my second home I would stay here for hours looking at styles and making clothes
Then someone opened the door it was Courtney
“What do you want „to embarra-ss me” I said
“No actually I came to take the costumes for the drama program rehearsals for the play ”she said
“Oh ok” I replied feeling a bit guilty
She came and sat next to me
“ what” I said
“I know we didn’t get off on the same page a bit or at all but I know how it feels to have the whole school turned against me” she said
“How I was popular no one dared me but now I’m suddenly the gossip of the whole school” I said
“Really every single girl keeps trying to kill me because of Owen ”
“I guess that’s true”
“You should go to Italy I heard the A BBYs costumes were all made by you it’s so cute it’s a real waste of talent If you stay here ” she said
“I can’t live with my dad” I retorted
“If I had a chance to see my dad again I’ll throw my hands on the opportunity but you’re throwing it away” she told me
“I’m different from you my dad left us yours died” I said
“Oh thanks for reminding me the fact I’ll never see him again” she replied
“I’m sorry” I replied
“No need I know we’re different a bit but you need to go don’t mind the fact that you’re living with your dad just go there if you want you can crash in a boarding house” she said
“Just go” she added smiling at me then she left
After sometime I decided I would leave I should at least forget about him I can stay locked up in my room all day I guess
I transferred to Italy and left I’m my dad’s new private jet
“Asha we’ll miss you” Mom and Michael said
“Call me ”Michael said and hug-ged me
Then Ava and Amy came
“You want to leave without saying goodbye to us ”they Both said and hug-ged me
“Remember once a A BBY always a A BBY” Amy said
“Make us proud girl we’ll always be friends” Ava added
“Always”I said and hug-ged them and tears rolled down my cheeks “I’ll miss you guys” I added
“One last thing„„Michael tell Courtney I said thanks for everything and also stop being stupid around her Michael”
“Bye Michelle” he said

I said as I stepped into the jet
Dad smiled at me and said
“You’ll love it in Italy”
“Let’s get one thing straight I haven’t forgiven you 100% or even at all so stop acting all close to me”
“Alisha…”he said but stopped halfway and just looked away
A fresh start in Italy this is going to be good I thought as we took off

They called us in for a morning orientation and introduced the transfer students
One that particularly caught my eye was Sebastian Russo he was Italian I think he was the exchange student for Asha he was cute but not as cute as Owen he was in the regular program two or three miles away from our school
The school had two buildings
One excluded from the regulars and one for us the music program and a very large soccer field and a hall a really large one separated the two buildings
When we dispersed everyone was in a rush including me I wanted to get to Owen as Soon as possible then I hit someone ha-rd it was a guy he extended his hand and I looked up it was Sebastian in the most de-eper Italian accent he said
“I’m so sorry I should watch Where I’m going ” I found myself staring into his eyes it was Hazel and it felt really warm to look at
“I’m Sebastian Russo I’m new here”he said and I jolted back from my thoughts
“Well Duhh that’s why you don’t know me ” I said removing my hands from his Really hard
“I’d really love to know you” he said with the most heartwarming smile I’d ever seen
“ I can’t chat I have to go” I said in a bitc-hy manner and left
He delayed me Owen will already be in cla-ss by now
Arrrh but for some reason I’m not mad at him
