I got home and met mother preparing the dinning for lunch.
“Hey you are back early.” She said smiling and I walked to where she was.
“Yep! Isaac didn’t let me in.” I said breathing out loud as I sat.
“Well it’s ha-rd to believe you just want to be friends, when I see clearly you are in love with his girlfriend.” She said and I sighed.
“I don’t know what is wrong with him. For the first time, I felt love and I tried not to hate him. I am trying to be a good person and he would me.” I said picking up the pancakes.
“You didn’t wash your hands.” She said and I nodded.
“I know. I am just too tired to stand up from here. I am heartbroken.” I said and she laughed.
“Heartbroken? Look here Enoch, forget about Diana okay? You can be best of friends.” She said and I smriked.
“What if she falls in love with me?” I asked and she looked at me.
“Enoch.” She called rolling her eyes.
“Fine. I have heard you, but I nee-d you to be honest with me mom.” I said and she looked at me with this serious eyes.
“What’s that son?” She asked sitting next to me.
“What Happened between you and Mrs Caroline?” I asked and she sighed.
“Son it’s a long story.” She said.
“Shorten it then.” I said not willing to back off.
“Fine. Why do you want to know this story?” She asked.
“Mom come on. Can’t I know what happened during your youthful age?” I asked and she nodded.
“Ihave been best friends with Caroline since our youthful age. I knew her Jacob for a very long time, trust me I loved their union.”
“When Jacob asked her to marry him, trust me, I was the happiest bestie on Earth. After they got married I began to notice something different about Caroline.”
“Then I got to know that she was having an affair with one of the rich brothers Elisha. I was so terrified and I couldn’t ba-re the truth knowing that Jacob was madly in love with her, and knowing the truth will break him.”
“I talk to Caroline just as a Best friend should. I nee-ded her to tell me why she gave up Jacob’s love for riches, but she said nothing to me. All she said was that she never loved Jacob and she would never love him.”
“On the long run, she realized she was pregnant with DIANA. Jacob’s daughter. I was happy and sad for Jacob. He was still in the darkest lies.”
“If i didn’t mention, Jacob and I were also very close. We were friends, the three of us. I couldn’t keep the truth from him, so I told him about Caroline darkest secrets.”
“He got pissed and flew out of the country, promising her that she would never see him again. When he left, Caroline knew I told him something and then she confronted me.”
“I told her I had to do what was right as a friend. She got very angry and our misun-derstanding started. She hated me so much for what I did. I actually spoilt her plans.”
“When she had Diana, she couldn’t take her to Elisha because he would never accept a bastard. So she had to give Diana up so as to be with him.”
“So since then. We have hated each other.” She narrated and I sighed.
“Woah. So Diana’s mom is the evil one.” I said and she sighed.
“She did what she thought it was right. Please don’t say this to Diana. I don’t want a situation whereby she hates her mother again. She is trying to gain her back.” She said and I nodded.
“I told Isaac everything too, but he promised me never to let Diana know anything about it, though she wants to know.” She added.
“Sure. I would go wash my hand now.” I said walking to the kitchen de-ep in thoughts.
“So my mother said all this to Isaac, and he promised not to tell Diana, which means he is keeping a secret from her.”
“Now keep a secret from her would mean he can’t trust her to handle issues. But then, I come in as the hero to tell her the story and then we solve the issue together.”
“Which implies gaining her trust while Isaac losing hers.” I said smriking wickedly.
Time to get the girl Enoch. You are the boss at this.

🍕 DIANA 🍕
“Diana the food is ready.” Isaac said walking into the room smiling wi-dely.
“I can’t wait.” I said getting out of be-d. We both walked out of the room with our haves together.
“Here you go. Tell me what you feel about it.” He said grinning.
“I know it will be amazing.” I said sitting on the chair. I grabbe-d my cutleries and then pinched the chips with my fork.
He sat and stared at me as I sat.
“Are you not eating?” I asked staring at him.
“I am okay. I want to watch you eat.” He said and I smiled.
“That isn’t going to happen. Here have a bite.” I said raising up my fork to him.
“C’mon I choose to watch you.” He said and I shook my head smiling.
“If you want your weak girl to eat, you nee-d to eat. If you don’t eat, I am not eating.” I said dropping the fork.
“Fine.” He said reaching for the fork.
“No, I will feed you.” I said picking up the fork and dipping it in the sauce. I moved it to his mouth and he bit it.
“Wow. I can’t believe I am this good.” He said and I laughed.
“Don’t be proud.” I said taking another bite.
“I nee-d to be. Mom has thought me a lot of things about the kitchen.” He said and then I sp-otted some sauce close to his mouth.
I dropped the fork and moved close to him while I stared at me.
“What are you…” He asked but I shut him up by cleaning it off with my tongue. I withdrew and kept my face close to his.
He held my face in his hand looking into my eyes.
“I love you.” He said and I smiled.
“I love you.” I replied and he placed a ki-ss on my li-ps. I moved from the chair and sat on his lap-s ki-ssing him dee-ply.
His hand ran down my back to my bu-tts grabbing it. I smiled against his li-ps as he did.
Our tongues tou-ched and then my phone got a message disturbing us. I withdrew my li-ps and wanted to grab my phone when Isaac stopped me.
“Don’t let that disturb us again.” He said ki-ssing my ne-ck.
“Just a minute baby.” I said and reached for the phone before facing him again. I opened my phone and then I saw the message was from Enoch.
I quickly put my phone away. I didn’t want to get Isaac angry away.
“Who was that?” He asked and I wrapped my hand around his ne-ck.
“No one special.” I said ki-ssing him again, when my stomach grumbled.
“You must be really hungry. Eat, then we get back to the main deal.” He said lic-king my li-ps.
“Okay.” I said sitting on the chair again.
“I will be back. I nee-d to get you water, I forgot.” He said and I nodded smiling. He walked to the kitchen and when I saw he was out of sight, I reached for my phone and opened the message.
📩Hey Diana, good news. I have found out what caused enmity between my mother and yours. I thought you might be interested to know. If you want to know I can come over 📩
I read and sighed. Isaac can’t know I am still trying to know about this secret.

I replied and dropped my phone before Isaac was out.
