🎩 ISAAC 🎩
I walked out of the kitchen with the cu-p of water in my hands.
“Here,have this.” I said smiling as I sat.
She nodded smiling and took the water sipping it slowly.
“So…” I said waiting for her to talk.
“So, about the lunatic that poisoned me, is there any progress in getting the person?” She asked and I sighed.
“Klaus that we all thought was the culprit wasn’t prese-nt at the pa-rty that day. So he isn’t the one.” I said and she sighed.
“Then who the hell did it? I am scared that I can’t even step out of the house, thinking someone would attack me.” She said and I held her hand ki-ssing it.
“You will be fine. We will sort this out.” I said and she nodded.
“Though I have a suspect.” She said and I furrowed my brows.
“Who? That’s great news. We could start investigating from there.” I said happily.
“I suspect Danielle.” She said and I arced my brows.
“What? No it’s not Danielle. She would never do that.” I said.
“What makes you so sure Isaac? She is having issues with my mother. They are enemies, and she may want to get back at her by killing me.” She said.
“Trust me she would never do that. If she was the one, she wouldn’t come to the pa-rty and spend time with us.” I said.
“Isaac why are you so sure? Do you know something and you aren’t telling me?” She asked and I shook my head.
“Of course not. I know nothing, but Danielle can’t be the culprit.” I said and she sighed.
“Well since we are yet to know what happened between them, she remains my suspect.” She said and I sighed nodding.
I wanted to talk again when a call came into my phone. I picked it up and I saw Mom Calling.
“It’s Mom.” I said picking up the call.
📲Hey Mom
📲Hey Isaac,how is Diana?
📲Fine, she is eating right now.
📲That’s good. Please I nee-d you at the shop as soon as possible. I really nee-d help here.
📲Okay Mom. But what of Diana? She would be left alone at home.
📲Please tell her to stay indoors. You won’t stay here long.
📲Okay Mom. See you soon
I hung up and looked at Diana.
“What’s going on?” She asked.
“I am nee-ded back at the shop.” I said and she nodded.
“Go on. I will be fine.” She said Smiling.
“Promise not to go out?” I asked.
“I promise baby. Go now, don’t keep Mom waiting.” She said and I moved forward to ki-ss her li-ps before standing up.
“I love you.” I said.
“Love you too.” She replied and I headed for the door.
🍕 DIANA 🍕
As soon as Isaac was out,I picked up my phone and se-nt a message to Enoch.
📩You can come now.📩 I se-nt and waited for him to reply.
📩What about your boyfriend? Won’t he get mad?📩 He replied.
📩He left for the shop. Come now cos he won’t be staying long📩
📩Okay. Give me ten minutes.📩 I read and I shut my phone.
I packed the plates I used to eat into the kitchen, cleaning the table well.
I was damn eager to hear what he has to say. I nee-d to know why they hate themselves so much that they can’t even pretend about it in front of we the children.
Once I have heard it, I will tell Isaac about it too. He nee-ds to know.

I kept checking the time on my phone, shaking my legs nervously.
A knock came on the door and I jumped up to my feet and rushed to get it.
I opened it to see Enoch grinning wi-dely.
“Hi.” I said smiling fakely.
“Hey. May I.” He said pointing inside.
“Yes Sure.” I said making way for him to walk in.
“Wow , your house isn’t bad at all.” He said looking around the house like he was a surveyor.
“Thanks. So let’s get down to why you are here. What Happened between my mother and yours?” I asked and he sighed.
“You didn’t even ask me to sit or offer me water.” He said Smiling.
“Oh my bad. I am sorry, I am just too anxious to hear it. Please sit.” I said and he sat still beaming wi-dely.
“What should I get you?” I asked.
“Anything you take.” He replied and I nodded walking into the kitchen.

I got to the pizza shop and walked in to see Mom sitting behind the table. She looked lost in thoughts, and I couldn’t see Uncle John anywhere.
“Mom.” I called walking to her.
“Hey Issac. I think we got a lead on which may have poisoned Diana.” She said and I sat on the chair eagerly.
“Who are we talking about here?” I asked.
“Danielle.” She said.
“What? No! She isn’t the one.” I said shaking my head.
“We can’t be so sure Isaac. She is the only enemy Caroline has here, and recently she came out of nowhere to start making friends with us. All fin-gers are pointing to her.” She said.
“Yes I know. But it’s all a coincidence. Let’s stop talking like Caroline isn’t the bad one here. Who knows who she offended after Caroline and wants to take Revenge on her.” I said.
“Isaac, why are you so supportive of Danielle?” She asked suspiciously.
“Because I am 100% sure she isn’t the one. She was there the whole time, and you know that who so ever the fin-gers points at isn’t actually the one,but that who we don’t suspect at all.” I said and she sighed.
“This may sound crazy but we nee-d to get the truth out of her. We nee-d to go to her house.” She said.
“We?” I asked.
“Both of us.” She said and I shook my head.
“No mom. You should stay here, I will go to her.” I said and she shook her head.
“How do I know she won’t feed you with lies when you get there?” She asked
“Because she doesn’t lie. I will get any truth you nee-d but I am certain that she didn’t do it.” I said and she sighed.
“We will get to know when we catch the culprit.” She said and I stood up.
“I will be back.” I said walking out of the shop. I kept thinking as I walked down the road heading to Mrs Danielle house.
I hope she proves them wrong. Because I won’t know how to feel when I get to know she is the one. Why would she do that?
I know I shouldn’t trust her this much but I do, and I don’t know why but I do.
I got to her house and I stood in front of the gate pressing the bell close to the gate.
I waited for her to open up but she didn’t.
I pressed it again and after some minutes, I heard footsteps approach the gate. I felt it was going to be Enoch so I kept a straight face.
The gate opened and it happened to be Mrs Danielle.
“Hey Isaac what a pleasant surprise.” She said smiling.
“Hi Ma’am.” I said smiling.
“Come in.” She said Happily and I walked in, staring at the whole compound again.
“You have a very nice apa-rtment.” I said and she smiled.
“Thank you. Come on in.” She said walking and I followed behind her heading to the main building.
We got into the house and I saw how hu-ge it was.
“Wow this is beautiful.” I said.
“Sit.” She said and I sat on the couch. I sat and looked at her.
“I am not here to stay long. I just nee-d to clearify somethings.” I said and she nodded.
“Sure, anything.” She said sitting in front of me.
“Ma’am to be honest, I don’t know how to say this, but are you sure you have truly gotten over what Caroline did to you?” I asked.
“Of course. I left her to God, I told you I had no power to fight against her. She took my first son.” She said and I nodded.
“And now? Do you have the power to fight her back?” I asked.
“Of course I do, but I won’t do anything to her. She is suffering already.” She said and I sighed.
“Isaac what is going on? This your questions are so suspicious.” She added and I sighed again.
“Everyone is suspecting you. They said you came out of nowhere to make Friends and you still hate Caroline.” I said.
“I hate Caroline, but I will never hurt Diana, she is still Jacob’s daughter and he is still my friend. Diana is your girlfriend and she isn’t in good terms with her mother, why would I do that to her? She is innocent and knows nothing about all these.” She said and I nodded.
“But your son was innocent too, but she dragged him into the fight.” I said.
“Isaac I know one day my son will find his mlrgwe eventually if he isn’t dead. Think about him will keep torturing me.”
“Do you think I did it too? Because I wanted to be friends with you all of a sudden?” She asked in a shaky voice and I shook my head.
“I don’t believe you did it. But right now, I don’t know what to think. Diana’s life is at stake. No one can be trusted.” I said and she nodded.
“I un-derstand that. And I am happy you said your mind.” She said and I nodded.
“I will be on my way now.” I said standing up.
“Are you sure you don’t want anything else?” She asked smiling and I shook my head.
“Not at all. Thanks for your time.” I said smiling.
“You are welcome and I hope you find this Bastard soon. So I can be friends with you again.” She said as we headed outside.
